Life is precious....people may not live their lives in a way we see deserving of life....but that doesn't keep life from being precious.... It's been rough... But there are a few things that I keep going back to for comfort. Things people have said to me, Bible verses, lyrics to some songs.... Right after we heard the news--maybe 15 minutes after it happened--I went to Geometry--and my teacher--no joke--was perfectly intent on teaching about the angle addition postulate. He finally gave up...everyone was too distracted... There are televisions on in every classroom--all extracurricular activities have been cancled until further notice. It's scary. My advice? Learn to draw real people. Plumb line, bone structure, the way clothes hang--it's all important. Once you know the basics of real-life-drawing, your overall art will improve.

It's true that I don't know a lot about most other religions. Some have the same roots as Christianity--but I even have trouble keeping different Christian denoms straight. I like storms...but I don't think I'd be very fond of other natural disasters... Then again, it might just be that I'm used to storms...
