Unsure of what lay ahead, Ginny, Amanda, and Cera crossed lowered drawbridge. "I can't believe we're doing this...." Cera muttered. "Neither can I," Ben said dryly. The girls spun around. He stood behind them, an amused look on his face. "How does he do that???" Amanda hissed. Ben laughed. "Wouldn't you like to know?" Know your enemy. Some forgotten quote echoed in Ginny's mind, and she glanced at Ben's hand. In it, he held a dozen crests.... Her hand darted instintively to the necklace at her throat....It was gone. Ben grinned, pulling one chain from the othersand dangling it before her. "Looking for this?"
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve This is more focused around the Christian belief than any other.... why not talk about Judaism.... they believe in Jesus Christ and god... but do they believe in heaven?... No.... there is not after life... whats makes them different from Christains... essentially to be Christian is to follow Christ.... don't the Jewish peopel do that? But why are they seperate... why is their religion wrong? Believe in the same person/people.... Judaism isn't that much different from Christianity.... aside from the countless holidays and no after life..... Samething goes for Muslims.... they believe in God... they call him Alah (sp?) but essentially it's the same god.... so what makes them different?...
As I understand it, the Jewsish religion believes that, yes, Jesus was a prophet and a miracle-worker...but not the promised Messiah. They're still waiting. Christians believe the Jesus was and is the Messiah.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve Why is Chirstianity the only religion associated with God in this f'ed up modern world? It makes no sense..... Even Satanist believe in god.... but they aren't Christian....
"You say you believe in God--good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder..." James 2:19 I couldn't tell you why Christianity is usually the first religion associated with God. There are so many variants and denominations.... Most people have had contact with one group or another at one time in their lives....
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve Another thing I don't get about religion is the undeniable fact that it contradicts itself left and right.... Does not the bible say "Do not judge people" but I'll be damned if it doesn't say Homosexuality is wrong. IS THAT NOT JUDGING??? What a bucnha BS! Again, it says do not judge people.... yet people who believe in other religions are shut out and hated because what they believe isn't "right".... I'm sorry but thats judging.... I mean, right there, the bible goes against itself... the BIBLE just committed a sin.... at least thats how I see it....
Jesus says, "Do not judge, or you, too, will be judged." Christians are to be held to the same standards by which they judge other people... I guess I see it as more of a warning--don't dish it out if you can't take it. I don't hate anyone because of religious affiliation, or lack thereof. That's foolish, and pointless. I don't know of anyone who does.... Perhaps you do, but I can't really give an informed opinion on that, as I have not...
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve plus, if you believe in christianity, it's a mortal sin to commit suicide and thus you would go straight to hell....
Well, in some denominations, anyway. It constantly surprises me how many variations of Christianity there really are.... ---------- Life is precious....It's taken me a long time, a lot of lost friends, and lots of bad mistakes to realize that. Some people risk their lives out of love, or courage, or because they believe in something stongly enought to die for it.... But no one should try to kill himself because of a broken relationship....You might think you have nothing to live for, but your life affects the lives of all the people around you, whether you wish it to, or not.
Originally posted by Outlaw The only thing wrong with Christianity is Christians.
That's about the best view on Christianity I've heard in a long time.
Originally posted by holymoly :D Do you believe in God because you were taught to believe or do you feel that you have come to believe in what you believe through experience and questioning?
Sometimes, I'm not sure. Ever since before I could understand it, I've been told about things like "sin" and "redemption" and a whole host of other Christian buzzwords. I've been told that when you have"true faith," you're never worried about anything, and you're never unhappy. That's a load of garbage. I've grown up being told what to believe in, what to do, and what to say. Some of it makes sense to me, and I follow it. A heck of a lot of it makes little or no sense at all. So I ask questions. Most of the time, I don't really get answers. Probably, there aren't any clear answers. But what I do understand, I believe in totally. What I don't understand, I try to just accept.

Cera still stared absently at the recent Digivolves. "Nope," she murmered. "I'm reasonably certain I've never seen them do that before." Ginny glanced at her in disbelief. "Come on! We've got to find Ben!" "Coming...." Cera, Amanda, and digimon followed Ginny as she lead the way towards the far end of the room. "Does anyone else think this might be a bad idea?" Volunsmon asked again. The girls looked mournfully at him. "Of course it's a bad idea," Cera muttered. "But it's the only one we've got." Amanda slowed down a step and began to speak with Cera. "What's up with Ben? Why's he evil?" Cera shrugged. "He's got the Crest of Insanity." "Has he always been bad?" "I guess it depends on how you define 'bad.' " "What about that other girl?" "Who, Angel?" Ginny asked. "She's one of us...I think she knows more than she tells us, though.... Something to do with her being the Child of Silence." Suddenly, the digimon in front of them stopped walking. "Tyger, is something wrong?" "Yes," muttered Lyrdramon. "We're here." They stood in front of a huge wooden..... "Drawbridge? This is a movie or something!" They looked at the giant wooden door, unmistakeably a drawbridge that would not have seemed out of place in HollyWood. "No," Ginny said. "This is the Digital World." "Great...so how do we open it?" "We don't." Cera said softly. "It's already being opened." "What?" Sure enough, the drawbridge was slowly lowering. Amanda was the first to realize. "We've got to move!" "Huh--wha--?" Amanda grabbed Ginny and Cera by the arms and pulled them off to the side. The digimon jumped out of the way as the drawbridge began to fall faster. It hit the stone floor with an echoing clang. Cera blinked at the heavy wooden door, now laying where they had stood a moment before. "Wow. Err...Thanks, Amanda." Ginny looked uncertainly into the gloom of the next room over. "So he just opened the door for us?" "Yes," Cera said dryly. "Wasn't that nice of him?" "So do we go in, or what?" "Go in, or else..."

Quite frankly, I don't know where Kazuya went. And I'm not sure where Oreta is. And I haven't a clue what's going on with Angel. All I know is that Ginny, Ben, Amanda, and I are all somewhere underneath the Crest Temple....
