Point: Organisation of hentai makes sites respectable and spam-free.
What could be done is a categorization within these categories. So, for example, in the Anime Forum we could do something like such--user clicks into anime forum--and sees something like this:

Hentai
Harem
Ecchi
Shojo
Shonen
Action/ Adventure
Horror
Thus, in a sense, we can receive what we want--a hentai forum--but in a more reasonable matter, that also makes hentai and OB, even moreso, to be viewed as a professional source of anime and a forum which deserves respect instantly simply by how it is organized. Also by doing such, one will garner much more respectable members: for the organization and level of coherency in that organization will endlessly make its members post respectable, powerful posts; and spam will be further minimalized.
Counterpoint: 4chan.

Sara looked around the entrance to the complex, quietly taking stock of the situation. The building, with its unsettling mash-up of design styles, was somehow familiar. Long industrial corridors, homey kitchens, talking elevators next to spiraling staircases, modern jail cells alongside medieval dungeons?the place was an architectural disaster. Some of this was ancient... some could have been added last week, for all she knew. It had been years, then, since she had been here, but despite the changes since her time, it was the same place. With?just maybe??some of the same people? She's gotten an urgent message from first one old friend, then a second. "We need your help," they'd said. "Like old times." Like old times? Was that even possible? It had been years?literally years?since they three had been united on one front. She remembered the fun, the thrills and the danger?but that was all long past. "I got out of that game years ago," she'd said. "I thought you did, too." But something had happened, and they'd contacted her?both of them, separately. How could she turn them down? "It wouldn't be the same without you," one had said. "After all, we are the Triad." Were the Triad, she'd almost said. Past tense?long past. And she almost believed it... But really, from the first moment they'd contacted her, she didn't have a choice. Comrades at arms once, comrades also for life. The door opened before her?and despite his earlier messages to her, she almost didn't believe her eyes. "Hello Shy," she said. "It's been a long time." Then, with the slightest hint of accusation: "You hardly ever write me anymore." Her old friend smiled. "I'm sorry, my dear. You know how war is. And I go by 'Grape Ape' now." "I heard," she smiled wryly. "Ner?ah... Ploppy told me. He's really here, too? Where? I want to see him." "I sent him to his room. He needs to sleep." "Right, well he'll never forgive either of us if I don't go see him right away." Grape Ape turned to introduce her to his companions, 'Webster,' and 'Po.' "You'll need a callsign, too," he added as she shook hands with them. "Ploppy told me that, also" she said, settling into the situation. Despite the years and the unfamiliar faces, this almost seemed like home. "Nice to meet you," she smiled at her new team. "But I really need to run; I'll be right back. Call me Drei," she called over her shoulder, as she ran down the hallway to find Ploppy.

Three easy steps: 1. Change the required age of registration to 18. 2. Ban all current members under 18. (Apologies to Nonentity, Not Nomura, Madhat, Premonition, etc. We'd love to grandfather you in, but laws are laws, and the OB can't afford the consequences that might come with distributing pornographic images to minors.) 3. Nerdsy! Spoiler tags! The things you quote aren't blacked out.
See, I don't agree. I have a feeling that [spoiler']Hiro is Kensei. Now, I've not read the thread in the link, but I just have this gut feeling that was strengthened by the sneak-preview. Kensei was rumored to have a mysterious power and, well, since Hiro is stuck in, erm, Tokugawa Japan, he could be doing himself a favor and creating the legend of Kensei. It would be very poetic that Hiro's favorite tale as a child would have been the story of his "death", which would have to be faked. Then, when Hiro goes to try to get back to the future, he instead does something wrong... T-Rex Time... you know...

I hope that's not it, because that seems a little too trite for me. Also, why does Hiro have to go back to
T. rex
time? Edit: New graphic novel up!

Dammit, I hope
Nathan and Parkman die. Not that I have anything against them?I actually really liked Nathan's character, and Parkman's a nice guy, but the idea of "Yay, VICTORY WITH NO CONSEQUENCES!" really weakens the show.
.
I thought it was pretty clear that
Charles Deveaux was an empath, like Peter. Claude hinted heavily tat the existence of other empaths, and in the Peter/Charles sequence Charles said "invisibility ... always thought that'd be a good one to have," implying that he could collect powers the same way Peter does.[/spoiler'].
Thoughts: (Spoilers contain theories on Charles. Claude and the Petrellis are also mentioned.)

We haven't yet seen any exact duplicate powers. That doesn't mean they don't exist (see Claude's comment), but with all the other unique ones out there this season, it seems kind of cheap to throw that in there.

I feel like there's a connection between Charles and Claude. If nothing else, it seems like they both worked for the Company at some point?also, Claude hangs out on Charles' rooftop. (But then, so do a lot of people)

However, Charles' statement that he always thought invisiblity "would be a good [power] to have" implies that he never had it. If he had Peter's exact power and knew Claude, he would have been able to absorb the power of invisibility.

This paradox would be especially true if Charles were the other empath to whom Claude was referring.

Charles clearly has ties with the Company? He's in on Linderman's plan, and Bennet is given Claire to raise during as scene that takes place on the rooftop.

On the rooftop, Charles says he knows Peter is there, but doesn't specifically say that he can see him. In general, "I know you're there" is something you say when you can't see someone. So he's aware of Peter's presence, but he can't neutralise the effect of Peter's ability on him (as Peter could with Claude)

Charles does seem to have an ability, as he displays several uncanny characteristics?he's aware of Peter's presence when Pete is invisible, he has a very good grasp of Peter and Nathan's personalities (not superhuman in and of itself, but possibly within the context of the show it is), and he, like several of the other Heroes, appears in Peter's dreams. (However, other people who have not exhibited powers have also appeared in Peter's dreams.)

The Petrellis (or maybe The Company) seem to be aware that certain children (Peter, Nathan, Claire) have powers before the children themselves are aware, and even before the powers manifest. Possibly latent power recognition is an ability that one of the characters has? If so, that might fit Charles. (However, if that is a power, it could just as easily be a power of another character close to those three?Angela, Mr. Petrelli, or someone we haven't even seen.)

I don't know about the whole
power alliance theory. Yes, there needs to be some explaination for why Nathan, Peter and Hiro got powers (whether it be a spontaneous mutation or an inherited trait from a parent(s), but I don't think everyone[/i'] in that alliance had powers.

I suppose that's not necessary, but it's probably more fun. Hm. Also, who was it, do you suppose, that
Claude was protecting, that Bennet had to shoot him?

Okay, trying to collect my thoughts. This post contains spoilers for the online comics, be warned. What do we know about the people who "tried to make a difference" or whatever?
When Linderman
(love his character, by the way), first brought it up, I immediately assumed that it was some sort of powered alliance from x number of years ago. So far, those associated with it seem to be: ?
Linderman/Austin?power of healing.
?
Petrelli/Dallas?power? Obviously unpowered during the Austin/Dallas thing, but didn't Nathan and Peter's mom say that he had an ability? If so, what? [Aside: In the first episode, Peter says that he "knew about Nathan's accident before it happened." This sounds like the result of possible power absorption to me?otherwise, why would they throw it in there? Could he have absorbed some form of precog/mental connect/whatever from one of his parents?]
?
Nakamura, Hiro's dad?power? He talks about being associated with the group of people, and refers to someone (presumably Linderman) "losing their way" or something, right? (Didn't Linderman also say much the same thing of his past associates? My memory is foggy.) Also, it's pretty clear that he's way in on the whole supernatural ability thing?between his connections with Bennet's old employer and his coaching of Hiro, something's up.
?
Charles Deveaux?power? Possibly something like Peter's. He spoke with Angela and was in on the whole "New York is going to blow up" thing, though he disagreed that Nathan was the right one to take over afterward.
?
Angela Petrelli?power? But she's clearly in on Linderman's plot during the current series of events, and has a history with Charles.
. Edit: Added two more names to the list. Also, Nehszriah has a point in that not everyone in the alliance necessarily had powers. Also, does anyone have thoughts on Claude?
I just find online dating a sad excuse for having someone by their side 24.7.365
Have you ever been on a road trip? 24.7.7 is more than enough time with anyone. :whoops: I spent a year in a long-distance relationship. Most of our contact during that time was through Yahoo instant messenger. Was that a "sad excuse" for real contact? It made both of us happy for quite a while. The fact is, where there is a medium to have contact with someone, people will develop attractions through that form of contact. This could be through class, by passing someone on the street, by listening to someone's music on the radio, by chatting, through a message board, through reading about a character in a book or watching someone on the television. We feel happy when a person to whom we are attracted gives us attention. We're even happier when they feel the same way about us. In the vast majority of situations (celebrity crushes, that cute girl at the record store, your TA, the people you silently crush on but never speak to), that won't happen. When it does happen, though, we sometimes go so far as to call it "dating" or a "relationship." Are relationships formed through chatrooms less valid that relationships formed through personal contact? No. Are they the same kind of relationship? Also, no. When I was thirteen, I had a huge crush on someone I met in a chatroom. I glowed when this person talked to me. Talking with him made me happy. Would I ever have dated this person in "real life"? Nah. (We didn't even call it "dating" in the chatroom, although that would probably have had me floating on air for a week.) I really can't begrudge people?even "kids"?the opportunity to "date" people online. (However?when talking about "kids," dating online with the intention to meet in person becomes a different situation because of the risks involved. That's a subject for another post, perhaps.) I know that for me, an online relationship?or even another long distance relationship?is something to be avoided for personal reasons. But if someone can be both happy and responsible in an online dating situation... how is that stupid?
That being said, a lot of the characters really need better development. At the moment, I really only like Hiro, Nathan, Sylar, and Claude. A group of friends and I just spent all week watching the available episodes, though, so I'm all caught up and ready to go. I cheered out loud when we got to see
Mohinder's moment of sheer badassery when he drugged Sylar.
Of course, he kind of ruined it at the end of the episode, but... Meh. It was still good. Dear sweet goodness, Sylar creeps me out. I know that's the point, but... damn.

If you had your druthers, what would your ultimate RPG be? What's the setting? What's the tone? What number of players, for you, would be perfect? I'm not asking for your general preferences, here. I don't want to hear "anywhere from four to seven players, depending on who they are." I don't care if you're interested in "anything with a good story." I don't want a summary of your RPG history. This isn't about what you'll settle for. This is about you?dreaming, designing, and describing your perfect RPG. Think about it?what's your the genre of your ideal game? Fantasy? Noir? Steampunk? Science Fiction? Normal fiction? Mafia? Horror? Mystery? Comedy? Post-apocalyptic? Dystopian? Parody? What's the setting? Another planet? Ships in space? Feudal Japan? Feudal Europe? The Digital World? Meteo City? Island, labyrinth, haunted house, carnival, boarding school, the year 3100? Who are the characters? Humans? Monsters? Mutants? Cyborgs? Animals? Anthros? Werewolves, vampires, zombies, pirates, smugglers, Egyptians, aliens, angels, demons, thieves, soldiers, assassins, a motley crew of travelers? What is the goal? Revenge? Survival? Adventure? Escape? Saving the world? What is the perfect number of people to tell this story? Why? Is it fast-paced? Slow and easy? Chapter system? Is it linear? Are there flashbacks? Parallel stories? Tell me. Be specific. Remember: this is perfection. There are no grey areas.

Word up, Sephy! I love novelty socks. Almost all of my socks are colored, patterned, or otherwise unique. I only have about four indistinguishable pairs. I really love knee-high striped socks?they're a lot of fun, and they keep my legs a little warmer in this crazy April snow. My favorite socks are probably knee-high rainbow-striped once, but I also have a couple pairs of two-color striped socks that are super fluffy, and I love wearing those, too. Toe socks can be fun once in a while, but I always sort of feel like they're cutting off my circulation. Alarming.

Relax! Be confident in yourself. Realise that you are an intelligent, enthusiastic person, and that any one of your potential employers would be lucky to have you. The best thing you can do is ask questions. Make a list?mental or written?of things you'd like to know. I don't know where you are or what kind of teaching position you're looking for, so some of these questions might not apply to you (and some are better suited for a one-on-one interview than at a job fair) but you get the idea: How big is the school? Does it have an ESL program? About how many students are enrolled in that program? (Is the ESL program content-based?) What is the ethnic make-up of the school? Are there a lot of extracurriculars? Does it have a special-ed or honors program? How big is the staff/what is the student-teacher ratio? Are there monthly or annual events that you'd be expected to help with? What kind of special facilities does the school have? "I've heard that every school in the district has a different personality. What's the personality of _______?" How long has the other person worked there? Where did they work before that? What are the differences? Asking questions is incredibly important! It shows people that you are intelligent, that you've thought about the position, and that you want to know more. It gives a chance for a conversation to spring up, and it marks you as an interesting and competent person. If you're looking for a teaching position, I assume you've already gone through a period of student-teaching. Use your contacts! Ask your fellow teachers (or even the principal) for advice on what questions to ask, what you should know about a school before working there. If you talk to the principal, ask what he or she looks for at job fairs, and what's the best way to make yourself stand out.
