So I was using the "Preview Post" option to test some formatting for a (not-actually-ready-to-submit-yet) post. I'd been working on it on-and-off all day, and frequently updating the preview. Just now I accidentally hit "submit thread" instead of "Preview post." And I panicked and quickly deleted what I had accidentally posted ([i]without saving the formatting that I had been testing all day[/i]), but the thread remains here for posterity. Have you ever accidentally done something that made you feel kind of dumb?

You might get some good-natured ribbing ("I thought you had perfect vision, Naruto! What happened?"), but I don't think anyone would begrudge you the ability to see. =] If it does bother you, there are some characters that do wear glasses (or masks), and you could always take that route. Or carry around a book and go as scholarly, alternate universe version of your character.
