1. AHAHAH!! Sorry about that, I think I just called you trenton in another post too... Sorry I've just got an Epiphone SG, covered in stickers. I love my guitar, and we played at my freinds party. Her dad was freaked out as he walked up behind me and I was licking it... Yeah, I've also got a dodgy cheap 30watt Soundking amp. I am also in the possession of a Casino acoustic\electric. Any my most prized piece on instrumentality, (along with my electric) Is my Mapex drumkit. I have had it for a few months now and the snare and first tom already need new skins... Oh well. Whats about you?
2. Well, I don't have a head full of cumbersome words that I shall use to analyse your work, but I know how to say what I want. I m very suprised at the insight you give into someone else's relationship, from just a simple visit. I like the slippers not high heels, pencils, not fountain pens bit. Interesting. Well done.
3. Yeah, trenton, you and every other guitar player, (including myself) Morello is so damn good on the album. I think he experiments a bit more with new sounds on the Audioslave cd. I could however be mistaken, not being a giant fan of Rage, they were good, and I really like a few of their songs, but I dont own any of their cds.
4. AMEN!! LET ME HEAR AN AMEN!! Liam, what you're doing, (looking for some sort of twisted humerous side) sounds like what I do. I thought I was the only one. A little advice though, dont get into a relationship and use the twisted thing, well it pissed rach off anyway. But yeah, I said it first, enigma then followed suit and I shall say it once more. If you ever want anyone killed, talk to us ok?
5. **** man, stuff don't happen for a reason, its just a bunch of stuff, you know, like stuff that just goes and gets itself happenned and stuff you know??? My advice, is ride it out, and go get yeself a woman. they can make you feel like nothing matters, she can either make it better or worse, but either way, you will get your mind off troubling stuff like financial worries for the time... I really don't have anything of use to say, but hey man... We're here for you, especially those of us who live quite close. Like ME!
6. Billy: See you sexy. Rebekkah: Good night gorgeous. Billy stepped into the taxi, and told him where to go. Billy looked out the back and blew a kiss to his girlfreind as the car drove closer to his house and further away from her's. He payed the taxi driver the money, and told him to keep the change. Billy felt relaxed and ready for bed before he put the key in the door. Billy turned on the stereo, putting in "the White Album" Billy didn't know why, but the Beatles always helped him to get a good night sleep.
7. Ben Drakenmoore looked around from his bed. It was loud downstairs, meaning that most of the regulars were drunk, or well on their way to being drunk. Ben locked the door to his room, not that such a lock would stop anyone who really wanted to get inside. Ben took a few steps to his left, said a freindly hello to a customer walking past, and hastily opened the door to the next room. Ben looked around, not much in here. But there was something asleep in the bed. With a bad around it's neck. Oh! Ben liked bag's that creatures kept close to them. Often that meant that there was something valuable inside. Ben steathfully crept over towards the sleeping occupant, and reached inside his bad, pulling out a blood-stained book. Hmm how dissapointing. Ben then left the room, deciding to keep the book, for closer inspection. Perhaps it was a spellbook of somesort, hopefully not the diary it looked to be.
8. Its good, because they sound like exactly what Soundgarden and Rage would sound like if the two bands joined. Despite them only having the singer from Soundgarden, its suprising how much some of their stuff you could get confused with Soundgarden... But the Audioslave cd makes me hate Tom Morello, a man with way too much guitar talent.
9. NAME: Ben Drakenmoor AGE: 19 RACE: Human Bio\History: Ben grew up in a small village of other humans. All who were set to grow up to be maids or knights. But of course, Ben was small for his age, and not very strong. Ben was smarter them most of his freinds though. As he grew he noticed that using tactics and tricks he could beat his stronger larger opponents. Ben took this farther again, by broading out his slight of hand into theivery. Ben became an expert theif, stealing anything that took his fancy. Anything that he could sell to his dimwitted freinds. Often he would steal things from his freinds, sell them steal them back and sell them once more. Often to the same people. Ben hasn't moved too far from his home, but he enjoys the good life. living off unsuspecting fools he steals from. DESCRIPTION: Ben is not very muscular, and quite thin. He is very short, standing about 5'3 tall. He has medium length brown hair, and brown eyes. Ben clothes are always in good condition, and are made from fine material. Always wears a long flowing cloak of brown (full of pockets), with long black pants and a vest of mail worn over a dark shirt. EQUIPMENT: Ben carries with him in a scabbard always at his side. Ben hardly ever carries anything else. Maybe a bag if he has sighted a large item to steal. REASON FOR BEING AT THE POST: Ben has been residing there for a few weeks, stealing from the drunken customers at night. And raiding the rooms during the day.
10. Billy: Good morning sunshine. Sleep well? Rebekkah: Quiet you! Billy: Sorry for waking you up and all. Rebekkah: You will be. Rebekkah led Billy inside and sat down next to him on the couch. Turning on some music-video show. Billy: Your parents out? Rebekkah: Yup Billy winked at her Rebekkah: Get outta here... Billy collapsed on Rebekkah's lap. Billy: Fine! Be like that. I'll just sit here Rebekkah: Well if it will stop you from talking. With that Rebekkah lent down and kissed him.
11. Dave Grolh was probably out behind the stage watching the Queen's play. The Foo's were the last band I saw that day. so BAH!!
12. Hmm well lets see. At the moment we have Footies; Tools. sadly the dominant group. Most drink, and dont pass much at all. Some are ok, more excepting easier to get along with. Well since I joined a band that "played" at school last term. But most of them I despise... Muso's; The select few of us who play guitar, or in my case drums. There are about Five of us in grade 11 (my year) there are a few people who started to learn guitar and drums this year, called try-hard muso's. But because there are only three Muso's in our grade, we leech in with a bunch of mis-fits who look up to us. Muso's would probably be the most accepcted group in grade 11 , dont aske me why. Normal people (relatively speaking..): The group I hang around with. these guys like heaps of crap. In our group we have two national archery champions. they don't get in fights with people, and would probably be the most average bunch of guys at our school which is good. Overly Large children: These guys are 15\16 and still love Pokemon, and battle their BayBlades. This group would cop the most crap because of the footies being the exact opposite. Poo guys, they aint that bad.
13. Billy was too excited... He had already phoned everyone who's phone number he could get. FOO FIGHTERS, in the next town over. One of his favourite bands were playing there. In four weeks, and the tickets had just gone on sale. Billy had just bought one for himself and Rebekkah, as a present. He didn't know what for yet, but he knew it would come in handy when he forgot something. Ten of his freinds had bought tickets already. What made it even beetter? It was the weekend! And he had no home work or assignments. This couldn't get any better. He decided to ring 'Bek and see what she was up to.
14. AHAHAH!!! the Big day Out 2003..Yes I was there. Gold Coast Yesterday... I shall now go through my day. If anyone else on the boards go, please, describe the time you had. If you want to know anything about the bands I saw, ask away. MY DAY! I arrived at around 9:30am. Gates opened at 10:30. :excited: The first band I saw were Wiakiki. You may have heard "here comes September" I hadn't heard any of their stuff up to then, and I was suprised. Wiakiki were damn good. Second Band Frenzal Rhomb there was no one on at the time that I really wanted to see, so I sat back and watched the humerous antics of Frenzal Rhomb. They opened with some guy doing a stand up act with some really sick twisted jokes. Some guy came onstage dressed as Ronald McDonald and they smashed a TV over his head. After that it was all downhill... sorry if anyone here is a fan but I didn't enjoy them.. All the songs sounded the same... Oh well:( Third Band 28 Days Hmm.. Now here's another band who I thought would have been good to poke fun at, due to their current single "whats the deal?" But like Wiakiki, they went off. More then Wiakiki. Some songs they played were as follows. Rip it up (the best) take me away, whats the deal (went off) say what and stealing chairs. Twas damn good. Fourth band Pacifier. Now these guys know how to make people lose their head. Kick *** heavy as sh** riffs, and a singer who looks like John Cusack. I was very very happy. some songs played, Comfort Me, General Electric (the best)Everything and a whole bunch of other great stuff. Great! Fifth Band Jebediah! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!! If anyone has heard Teflon, you'll know what I'm on about. Jebediah were amazing. Despite having to leave halfway through their set due to heat exhaustion. some songs they played: fall down, teflon (thankyou jebus!) and Harpoon. If i wasn;t dying I would tell you more. sorry. Sixth Band The Vines Sorry people. They were absolutely terrible. I think they must have been extra stoned yesterday, but god damn it was bad! Songs played Country Yard, Get Free, Highly evolved, Outtathaway and In the Jungle. I dont know what the problem was, but it was big. Seventh Band Living End Good old prisoner of societty. I hadnt seen them live and I didn't like much of their new stuff until I heard it again yesterday. There is nothing like seeing a band you think are going down hill, live and have them turn your view around completely. Exactly what they did. Some songs played; One said to the other, Prisoner of Society, Second Solution and Pictures in the Mirror (my personal favourite) GO CHRIS!! Eighth Band Queens of the Stone Age HOLY ****!! Tats about aswell as I can describe the experience. That crazy bald bass guy kept winking at me, what a champ! I went in thinking that the drummer they had couldnt possibly pull off what Dave Grohl had done on the CD, but whoever it was. GOOD FREAKING JOB!! Some songs they played: song for the dead, song for the deaf, feel good hit of the summer, No one knows and Hanging Tree,. MUST SEE AGAIN!! Ninth Band Foo Fighters Best act of the entire day and believe me, it wasn't easy. Behind them they had the big sheets just like in the clip for "all my life" First it was blank then the first one dropped to reveal a FF symbol (like that in my avatar) and then it was the heart, like on the cover for the album "one by one" Dave rode out on his scooter, as last time he visited the Gold Coast he was arrested for drunken scooter driving. and he only used his patented clear guitar. Some songs played: opened with "all my life" (the best), Generator, Learn to Fly, tired, Monkey Wrench, Breakout and Everlong. They were so... damn.. good I shall post some photos as soon as I get near a scanner and have the film developed. If you get the chance, GO DAMMMIT!!!
15. AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! IT WAS BRILLIANT!!! Here are some of the songs they played: Feel good hit of the summer, Millionare, Hanging Tree and No One Knows. Sorry i can't remember them all. As soon as I get the film developed and somewhere near a scanner I shall post a few photos... he he he OH YEAH!!!
16. AHAHAHAH!!! TOMORROW!!! I shall not be posting tomorrow or the day after, as I shall be at the gold coast, seeing many great bands including the aforementioned QOTSA!!! Also, Flynn, you wouldn't have been able to come, your dad's a wacko remember??
17. Who am I in my own mind? Hmm, I think I'm the wierdest average person. I can fit in with normal people IE Teenyboppers, and stuff. But I can also fit in with strange people. IE Harlequin and the like. I am often hopefully misunderstood. AT the moment, im being very strange towards one freind of mine in particular. Experimenting if you will emotionally. Long story. anyway. And generally, if I think something, no matter how inappropriate or rude, I will probably say it. Keeping secrets only hurts other people more, so I like to get it off my chest. Thats how I see myself. Jack, the average wackjob. Who am I to others? Damn, now there's a mouthful, I hope. I think people see me as a muso. A strange one. A sick twisted strange muso. My freinds will see me as "the bastard" the "crazy bastard" or tired Jack. The bastard is the part of me that says what comes to mind, regardless of whos around. The crazy bastard is the part of me that is strange and twisted. For example the "baby jokes" part of me. I will scream at people for no reason, and bite people aswell. Not hard, but hey. I only bite people I know well though. Tired Jack is the part of me that only one person has properly seen. that would be Flynn. Tired Jack is the part of me that is sensible, and will carry on a serious conversation for hours with. Tired Jack will talk about things that actually matters to him, and things that heis interested in. Tired Jack is predictable as far as actions go, but hopefully intelligent as far as conversations go. So yeah, I am three people!!! How would I like others to see me? I would like to either be Crazy Bastard, or Tired Jack to everyone. Perhaps Crazy to most and Tired to a few. But im pretty damn happy how I am
18. No, slow music fails to worry me either. I know my dad likes the song "Yellow" But everyone likes that song. I think both their albums are pretty equal as far as...quality goes? I think they're both great. I like their slower stuff, especially the scientist. (love that song)
19. I'll see what I can do, Lil Mueslee. Despite living in another state, I'm sure I can get you into the Gold Coast BDO with no trouble. I shall be taking a camera so I can post some of the better photos online. THREE DAYS!!! I'll get plenty of QOTSA.
20. Yeah, I got it today. God damn it's awesome. My favourite song on it would probably be "Set It Off" It's good to see that Tom Morello is still playing very RATM-like riffs. But due to Chris Cornell, it alomst sounds like some of soundgarden's stuff, no problem there. I really hope they stay together long enough to tour here. I really want to see them. I strongly suggest listenin to some of their stuff.
21. OOC: All of rogue squadren fly X-wings unless the mission requires otherwise. Name: Jack Reacher Age: 22 Rank: Ensign Call Sign: Ship: x-Wing Bio/Description: Jack Reacher was enlisted as a fighter pilot at the age of 15, being one of the youngest pilots in history, after Annakin Skywalker. He is freindly and easy going. But like all the rogues, a daredevil willing to try anything just for kicks. Jack is tall, fit and has medium length brown hair.
22. bleh, The Audioslave Cd is awesome. I still would prefer Songs for the Deaf though. FOUR DAYS TIL THE BDO!!! OH YEAH!!!
23. Coldplay are awesome. I own both their albums. It's really good ballady type stuff. A bit like some of Radiohead's slower songs. I just wish they would tour Australia...
24. yeah. Ive had it for ages so i felt like a change. Your parents think they are a bunch of stoners? But they are a bunch of stoners. I'm glad my folks dont care.
25. If you're looking for any more strange music by them, listen to the song, Six Shooter. I love the song so much, but it's just screaming a whole bunch of threatsm and then Shoot, Shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot! POW!! Brilliant, but weird song. But what would you expect from them?
