I can't come up with original ideas, so I think I'll just steal this one from a game. That morning one of the residents of Tristam woke to the sound of his flock screaming. He rush to the window of his cottage and found four of his sheep ripped open, and three more being attacked by small blue deamons. Blood stained the earth as the farmer ran outside brandishing his scythe. The deamons lifted their heads, snarling at the man. The farmer swung, and lifted the head of a deamon from it's shoulders. The other beasts screamed and turned, begginning to run. The farmer gave chase, and followed them, barefoot through the small town. He pursued them into a building, and looking up, he saw a cross. These creatures had taken the church! Slowly he pushed open the door, and to his horror discovered many other deamons, feasting upon the bodies of townspeople. Some of these creatures stood on four legs, some were hanging from the rafters, zapping other creatures with electricity that coursed fomr their spindly fingers. The farmer watched the creatures retreat into a large hole beneath the alter... It seems that Diablo has broken free from his cage of hell, and has begun to taint the land. The sooner that these creatures were slain the sooner Diablo himself could be confronted. The tale of Tristrams new residents travelled fast across the land, and many heroes decided that they should take up this quest of ridding the land of such great evil. Some have taken this up for honour, some for revenge, and some out of greed for riches and enchanted items that the more powerful of Diablo's beasts hold. Whatever reason they have, this evil must be stopped at all costs. Here is what I need from you: Name: Age: Sex: Class: (mage, fighter, paladin, assassin, druid, amazon, necromancer, barbarian) Short Bio: Weapons: (You all must start off with simple basic weapons, but can purchase enchanted weapons, and find unique weapons from monsters later.) Abilities: (Each class has their own specific abilities, and weapon preferences. Choose about 5) I think thats about all I need. I will start this thing when we have about 6 people. But I don't think we need a limit. IF there are too many sign ups (which I doubt). I will post who has made it in, based on sign up quality. Happy Hunting.

Yeah, here comes another poem for no one to read. It's about me and a friend of mine, and our group. We had a fight, and he thinks people see things one way, and I think everyone else sees it a different way. But instead of spelling it out, I thought I'd wack things around and talk about animals...OF COURSE! Animal Magnetism The loin roars and all listen, But when the eagle rides high, he gets the attention, A loud voice next to a show off, Both creatures know that only one will be seen ahead, People might see it a different way, But the animals know how it will stay, Sure we think we know what?s going on, But most of us don?t want to feel insecure, So we sit at home, thinking we know about the king of that land, But the animals know, who knows how it is planned, Animal magnetism, has taken new heights, While the lion roars, and the eagle takes flight, People might want to feel they know how it is, But something else, chooses how it goes.

You are a contentious bastard I would have to agree with you there. However I am with you there. I personally don't post as much as I would like to, due to lack of stuff to post about, time constraints, and me being lazy. So I think some people who write very well, (not me, obviously) would be at a disadvatage from such a set-up of building up a character from posts. Personally I like to try and work one character into many situations, but thats just me. I think other people, who like to try dfferent styles of characters would suffer under such a system. Because of course it is mostly the better writers who change their characters, and they would have many characters who then would be worse off. I just don't like the idea, it goes against the whole point of intelligence. But don't ask me, I'm just the friend of a contentious bastard.

Hmm High Fidelity was the funniest movie I have ever seen. I loved the scene when he hits that guy with the TV, that was fecking great. I saw Bruce Almighty yesterday though, and that was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Jim Carrey would easily be the guy to be god. Yeah.

Hmm. I think I'll just have to say yes with that one and justify it with a Monty Python quote. "...And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space, 'cause there's bugger all down here on Earth". You know it's true.

Of course! Name: Indrid Kint Age: 19 Alignment: He just likes to kill things...of course thats good. Race: Human Short Bio: Indrid was brought up in a typical american family. His parents sent him to the closest public school. Whilst attending this school, at the age of 15, he saw three of his friends shot by a fellow class mate. He was deeply traumatised by this event, and became obsessed with self-protection. He began getting into fights at school and carried a knife with him everywhere. In one such fight, he stabbed his opponnent in the left arm. Due to this event, Indrid expelled from his school. At the Age of 17, Indrid joined the Armed Forces and after a psych-exam he was called into training as an assassin. Since then, Indrid has truly enjoyed his life. Weapons: Indrid developed a love for two 9mm Uzis during his time in training and carries plenty of extra ammo with him as well. Indrid also still carries the knife he once in his fight at school. Spells: BAH! OTHER CRAP Appearance: Indrid is tall, and quite thin, although quite strong. He has long straight brown hair, that falls to his shoulders. Indrid always had to wear black for his missions while serving his country. Since his country is now run by deamons he no longer serves it. And since he no longer serves his country, he no longer wears black. As a matter of fact, Indrid always wears white. He can often be found wearing a white tank top, and baggy white karate pants. His footwear is normally just a pair of nikes. Think of Neo, with long brown hair, and wearing white. -
Well, if we're talking about songs that don't just make us sad, then I have a few more to add to my list. Of course I could just edit my last post, but I think I'll add another post altogether. Hmm, some songs that just get me in the mood to go crazy. They would have to be stuff like "An Ode to No One (**** you)" by the Smashing Pumpkins. "Show me how to live" by Audioslave would definatley be another. A few songs by Soundgarden and the Vines and people like them are also good for getting me in a mood to throw crap at cars. Yeah.

I'd have to disagree with everyone but Fall on this board and say that McCallef Tonight is clearly the coolest show on earth. He used the bullet-time effects from the Matrix whilst vomiting. If any body else has done that, feel free to left me know. The man is a champ.

Hmm...You said before that You would sell your soul to get that girl back. See that might be the problem. The truth might be, that you are a little strange. It means that you will have to start learning how to act around people, what to say, and what not to say. You will have to lose some of your personality. But if finding friends is what you want to do, that is basically the only way I can see out for you. I used to be in a similar situation, of everyone thinking I was god damn strange, and I didn't have many friends. Then I changed schools, I changed myself a little bit too, and I found a group that were a bit different, but not too strange. I learnt how to be myself, but not to be so extreme that I drove people away. This advice of changing schools might sound a bit drastic, but its the only way I see right now. I probably sound like a prick, but it's the horrible truth.

Meh, I see no problem with death at all. It happens everyday, and will continue to happen everyday until nothing exists anymore. I haven't been touched by death closely enough for it to be too big a concern. We are all going to kick the bucket one day, so there is obviously no point trying to deny that. The only thing I(no body does) don't know about death is what happens after. Heaven, hell or any other state of being after death is mere speculation. There's only one way to find out then. Hey ma, fetch ma rifle!

No, you're not alone, if you count one person. I get a tingly sensation all over my skin whenever I hear a song that is really powerful. Of course it helps if it is really god damn loud, but either way I get it. Half the time music helps me to see things more clearly. It seems to amplify my feelings. So I always try to find music I am in the mood for.

Live music...Being surrounded by people I don't know, with a kick *** band infront of me playing one of my favourite songs. I am pretty happy with how many times that scenario has occurred. Musically, thats what gets me high? You were talking musically right?
-
What genre\s of music do you like? Favourite would definately be rock. I also like alternative stuff. Who are your favourite bands? Hmm, I like quite a few, so I'll just chuck down the main ones. Radiohead, Tool, Smashing Pumpkins, Queens of the Stone Age, Audioslave, Living End, John Butler Trio, Grinspoon, Foo Fighters, Powderfinger, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jeff Buckley. I think thats most of the main ones. It will do anyway. Why do you like them? I'm not sure. Everyone likes music, just because it fits them and personally, they just like the sound of it. That can be said for all the the above bands. Yeah.

Hmmm...I wonder if things will change since I last posted in a thread similar to this one. Vocalist: Maynard James Keenan. This bastard can sing. He's got such a brilliant scream and writes great lyrics too. First Guitarist: Billy Corgan(from pumpkins time) Sure he has gone a bit dodgy since forming Zwan, but he can still play. The reason I said from the pumpkins time, is because back then he was a complete genious and wrote some awesome songs. Second Guitarist: Josh Homme, this man can also play like there is no tomorrow. He writes really awesome songs too. Bassist: Flea. He is so damn funky and crazy. What more could you ask for? Drummer: Danny Carey. Need I say more?
-
Hmmm there a few that get to me, but it also depends on the current situation. The first that comes to mind would probably be High and Dry By Radiohead. It's just such a beautiful song. The second song that I like would have to be 3 Libra's by A Perfect Circle. The lyrics remind me of many girls I used to like, but the feelings were not recipricated. There are a couple other songs that get me thinking. If I think of them I'll edit this post later.

Yeah, I am going to post more, when I get another 5000 words or so. Not that it seems to matter, because no one seems to be reading much of anything I am posting in this forum. If they are reading it, I would like someone to say something, preferably someone I don't know. Oh well...

I obtained "Welcome to the Monkey House" today. I have become addicted to "we used to be friends" and basically the rest of this album. They remind me of Regurgitator, but not as sick and twisted. I was just wonderin' if anyone else here appreciates their stuff. jc

I doesn't have to be a secret, but I'm generally locked away in my room, listenin to music, or in our music room, playing music. That's my place, not neccessarily a secret but still. If I did have a secret place, it would definately be a watery, well light cave on a secluded sandy island. Hmm, my own personal batcave, kinda thing.

I dunno...I'm not sure what scares me. It's all to do with a situation really. For example, after watching the Ring, I didn't feel to right before I went to sleep. My brother kept running around, and turning the tv on to static late at night, so that didn't help. But it's the situation that does it.

Writing It's time I started doing this
Jesus Chicken replied to Jesus Chicken's topic in Creative Works
Any opinion is better then no opinion, isn't it? It's about the girl who has been messing with me. I don't understand how she feels, so I tried to make that confusion evident in the poem. I hate her, and need her at the same time. -
I have been writing a bit of poetry lately, and I have finally figured out a way to get more stumilus for it. So I shall be writing more. This is one I just wrote, feel free to commment. Truth Most people are normal, it?s the insane ones that are special, That?s why I like you, But I wish you would speak the ****ing truth to me, show me where you stand, Speak what I want to see, I can?t deny this feeling of hate, I have wasted my time, or so it seems, It?s the reason I am leaving my mind in this state, Deep regret and sadness have taken my mind, you know how I feel about you, But give me something to find, I need a reason to believe what you say, I need you to act on it now, I need you to take it away Because most people are normal, it?s the insane ones that are special, That?s why I need you.

Thankyou Dayday. I'm not trying to piss you off Ruby. I think it's called constructive criticism. You will have to get used to it sooner or later. Just don't take it as me trying to get to you. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression.

Admiting your problem is the first step...
Jesus Chicken replied to Corey's topic in General Discussion
****. I'm sorry to hear about that. I have respect for you, so it just goes to show how everyone has their own little problems. I'm not sure what to do about it. I know people that are on it, people I know, who are close to me are "casual smokers" of the stuff. But they don't seem to need it like you do. Late last year, they gave as a huge talk about smoking weed and the guy said that it affects each user differently. Some people can go skizophrenic of one joint, and some people need a few to even get high. It sounds like you have a different case of "having it bad". My best advice would be to go to a rehab centre, and see what they have to say. Or even better, see your doctor. Good luck, my friend. -
Cool, Congratulations Steve, you have a disease of the body, to accompany the one of your mind.

I didn't say I didn't like it. I was just giving my opinion. If you don't like my opinion, you don't have to take it on board. For a twelve year old, you're very insightful.
