I have just finished watching this series and I am completely blown away it was much better then X which didn't surprise me to much but it even knocked W out of it's spot as my favorite msg series. I never expected episode 50 to be like that watching X and W I got to used to the happy endings. The plot and characters seemed more in depth here the music was good and so was the ending. I am quite pleased with this can anyone tell me where I should go after this I plan on getting the first series but do any of the others tie into Z also I mean characterwise?

After watching the first nine episodes of Z last night i've had to completely change my mind on X. Series X being the only gundam series that i've seen competely through besides W it seems that I should have paid more attention to the first series when it was airing because during the first three episodes of Z most of what was bothering me in X was answered (besides the horrible end music of X). It now seems that W was more of an alternate universe than X, X just fits in better suddenly. After watching the first disc of Z i'm now more of a fan of this than I am of W as soon as I finish up Z i'm going to have to go find the first series and see it all the way through. 1. The end theme is still unpleasant. 2. They didn't take a step back in their animation they just went back to the older style which was a good thing. 3. I still think they ripped off a veritech.

This is probably a rumour but even if it isn't I already have both box sets on dvd so in that case I just feel sorry for all that you guys will miss out on. But on the plus side think of all the cool new improved names we can get like Winni (mini ruler of heck non-senior)

Man I just started watching series X and I can say without a doubt this is boring i'm on episode 6 and completely blown away at how bad this is 1. Music is unpleasant 2. It looks like they took a step back in their animation 3. The gundams the main one looks like Wing from gw but with a big x strapped to its back another looks like a veritech fighter it even has the veritechs guns from macross last but not least another gundam ends up looking like a mobile doll from the end of the gw series! This makes me sad I really hope this picks up in further episodes, If not moving straight on to series Z is what i'll be doing.

In reply to Desbreko's (*sigh* ...When will people stop believing every rumor that they hear? Square has not said that they will be making sequels to FFX, it is just a rumor.) Actually I got this off the best Final Fantasy information site that I know of and they pulled it off of a japanese news site. It was from FFONLINE I have gone there for years and have never pulled any bad info off their site they happen to have the most reliable FF info around and for good reason. ':p'

Anime Journey to Jaburo (WTH were they thinking?)
Ben Holiday replied to Amphion's topic in Otaku Central
I'll have to disagree with you all I got this game back when it got out and though the controls were difficult compared to all but a few other mecha games this was pretty decent and it looked good. But it probably is for more hardcore gundam fans on another note from what was explained to me isn't ZF more of a strategy/command type game? I've thought about picking it up a few times but don't really care for troop command type games. -
Anime Which anime do you think has stood the test of time?
Ben Holiday replied to Ben Holiday's topic in Otaku Central
Your right Queen Asuka anime is definitely of the Japanese origin so I should of stated Animation or Animated Films which is what I really want to discuss the best animated films for the time period of the last thirty or so years and from any country of origin. Sorry for any confusion. -

Ah yes, Totoro I agree actually most of what Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki created I think would make it on this list. -

There are so many films out there from the last 30 or more years which do you think have been animated well enough to stay on top even in these modern times and I am not talking about how well it was dubbed or how cool it was. What i'm looking for is the films that had the best artistry in their animation something you can pick up still and see how well drawn everything was from the characters to the background, I would also like to include which of these you thought had the best storyline and musical score? (Please no tv shows I am looking for films whether they be Japanese, American or any other nationality) -

I have seen a DC version but it was an import from europe I was considering picking it up because how great the original was but the $90.00 price tag at FuncoLand held me back.

Has anybody else seen this movie it has left me a little confused about the main character was he still alive there at the end? It was extremely well done just a great story line and design of characters was straight on too.

Thanks for the input I did some searches and found out it was made by SABAN but never made it to vhs or dvd.

Thanks for the input I opted for W,X and Z instead of G. I also agree Japanese is always better than the ever improved american versions.

Has anyone ever heard of Samurai Pizza Cats? I would appreciate all info on this series a buddy of mine had an episode on tape it seems to have been on tv around 2 or 3 years ago it's just something that I thought was a pretty funny show. Also around 5 or 6 years back a two or four part series was released on tv I was very impressed with the animation and storyline on it but have never found any information on it and would like to see if anybody has any information it came on around 6:00 or 8:00 p.m. and the title started out Invasion ______ fill in the blank it was either earth, america, or u.s.a. something along this line the story seemed to center around a young man and his alien heritage.

Hallelujah, finally someone at least knows what I'm talking about even if it's not one of their favorites. To me the show is so great because of the goofiness there may be a lot of it but it does have style.
