1. While this isn't a bad idea, I don't see how it classifies as Literature, so I'm going to move it to Otaku Lounge. Thread Moved.
2.
Blondes are so lucky. ._.
You lie! I'm a natural blonde -- a really light to barely mid blonde. And whenever I dye my hair -- even just as a rinse -- people basically attack me for 'ruining such a gorgeous colour!' One of my oldest friends told me when I dyed my hair that she wouldn't speak to me again until it was back to normal, lol. Generally, I just dye it red, because I love having copper-y hair, and with the pale complexion etc. it looks almost natural and really suits me, haha. ^ Me with normal hair
3. To be honest, I don't much care, but it might help to get different perspectives from the gender points of view. Recent studies [or perhaps not so recent] have shown that gender isn't just a physical thing. It's an ingrained psychological/mental/emotional thing as well. I was watching this TV program [don't ask me what it was called, I don't know] on the difference between genders. A study was done on children from birth. It shows the taking the same [male] baby and dressing him in a pink outfit, people will think he's a girl. Dressing him in a blue one, people will thing he's a boy. It even demonstrates the difference between the way babies are handled when little. The 'girl' child was cradled and treated preciously, cooed to about how beautiful she'd be, while the 'boy' was generally treated in a rougher manner, standing him up slightly and bouncing him on their knee. He was told how strong and what a good sportsman he'll be. I think that example sort of illustrates the differences between the sexes and the way they're treated. There's more, of course, but I figured I'd start with that. So what do you think is the biggest difference between the male and female gender, and why do you think it's there?
4. The Gender Genie. If you don't know what Gender the person is, run it through the Genie and find out! [Although the results do seem to be quite inaccurate, however, it is some peace of mind for those who are quite worried.] Or, put a disclaimer in your post and then refer to everyone as a he. Problem solved! I just can't really believe this is an issue. Where else can "What is your Gender???" come up as a topic of conversation, but on the internet? *looks to the OL slyly and grins*
5. Oh, wow. I love it! I really like the first, third and fourth variations. I'm not so fond of the second one, because of that white thing. Plus, you get double points for the Goo Goo Dolls quote, because I really like that song. ^_^ But yeah, I really love the layers of textures. It just, yeah. Great job. :)
6. Y'know, I've seen one episode of Red Dwarf and really quite liked it. I think at the time the only reason I watched it was because my then-boyfriend saw it was on and then told me I was a heathen for never having watched it, and made me watch it. That said, it was really funny. I think it was some episode to do with time travel or something, I'm not entirely sure, but I really liked the quite perverse humour and the twists in cliches, as Manic said. So if I do flick through the channels and realise that it's there, it's definately one I would watch, even though I don't understand it all that much, heh. :)
7. [QUOTE=Drix D'Zanth]Jesus was a pirate.
Jesus was a pirate?? o.O;
Superheroes always have the troubled past, philanthropy or revenge motivations, while pirates can be motivated by anything, from moneyto impressing a girl ( you can't do that with a secret identity), sticking it to the man to freeing the people from tyranny.
What, did Spiderman/Superman/Batman/anyone who hooked the girls never exist? XP
Never had any respect for cowboys, not after I found a copy of a very old cheesy cowboy novel that involved sex in *gasp* a horse stable.
Haha, that's why I got into cowboys. Seriously, though, I never really had a Cowboy/Pirate phase. I remember that, for a long time, I wanted to be a Female Mutant Ninja Turtle. We had these characters and we always fought over the Pink one. ^_^" Nevermind they didn't exist in the realm of TMNT. [Whoa, it was like, my first form of fanfiction!] I do remember my friend and I used to play a fairies game, however. It was always in our Jacaranda tree, and we used to believe there were fairies and goblins. And you could tell they were there because of the 'footprints' on the tree. [If you ever go and look at the bark on a Jacaranda, you'll see what I mean.] But yeah, there were a couple of reason for not being into either pirates or cowboys. I think the lack of attraction to pirates for me is that the two female pirates I know of were kind of..well...floozies. They were the worst pirates on deck, and the most vicious and everything [They were on the same ship.]. But when their ship got caught, they got out of the hangman's noose because they managed to get pregnant, and you can't kill a pregnant woman. Now, that's manipulation of gender, lol. As for being a cowgirl...I don't like dust. I did, however, go through a horse phase.
8. Funny this topic's come up, really. I've been working at this place for a decent amount of time [6 months] and I just resigned last week. My tenure runs out on Tuesday at midnight. I only have 3 shifts left [Sunday, Monday, Tuesday] and I'm really looking forward to not working. I resigned for several reasons. A lot of it had to do with school. The fact is that work just wasn't flexible enough for me to handle working this first term. I'm the Musical Production Co-ordinator [I know, aren't I brilliant? I have to wonder how I managed that!] as well as doing the whole 'Senior Student' thing. Musical can be very tricky, and already it's started getting to the point where I feel like I'm juggling musical and work; I have to throw one up in the air and ignore it for a while in order to pay attention to the other. As well as that, I work in the Fast Food industry. I don't mind the job. A lot of people sort of scoff and some people are too high and mighty to go for a job at a Fast Food place, but it isn't bad. The hours are quite short, usually, so you get time to do other things, and it's not too demanding, either. The people that come in are pretty nice, and so on. The problem is that you always know exactly when you're going to be busy. If you're tired, you can't count on it not being busy; if you're working, it probably will be. And that can be hard. I know that by 5:25pm, it'll be busy at work, that's how dead on the rushes seem to be. Everyone at work is really nice, except the Manager, who likes to play games to make herself feel more powerful. She says things like, "If you don't have a day marked down to say you can't work, we should be able to call you into work on that day." which isn't true. We have to have some prior warning, and we can't get fired because we can't work when we didn't have prior warning. The other thing is my manager's weird flipside personality. She's really hard to work with sometimes, because she's an absolute perfectionist, and she yells. I got in trouble once because I saw her through the window while I was packing an order. I thought she wanted to say something, so I stopped to listen to her...and then I got in trouble for not packing the order quickly enough, lol. The thing is, however, that she's great fun to talk to. Just really nice. So that kind of throws you off balance. So, yes. While I enjoy working, and I love customer service and stuff, I just figured it was time to move on.
9. Okay, it's not a bad chapter, but one thing just gets to me like no other misspelling/bad punctuation/incorrect grammar does; drug. I've seen it done before -- you aren't the only one -- and every time it happens I physically wince. Drug is not and never will be [in my book] the past tense of drag. You can drag someone all over OB if you like, but unless you're willing to involve narcotics, you cannot drug someone all over OB. ^.~ The past tense of drag is dragged. They dragged him to the bus-stop kicking and screaming. Drug is something that's generally illegal or in medicine. [And the past tense of drug is drugged. ^_^] But yeah. It's not bad. I haven't read all of the story yet, but drug just gets me, so I had to posts on the merits of that, lol. Will probably send another post your way once I've finished reading the story.
10. Mmm. My advice is to listen to and be with your friends. When my boyfriend and I broke up 2 years ago or so, I was in an unfortunate postition because before that, he had been my best friend, and all of my friends were also his. However, there was another group of friends who I'd been friends with for years, and they were all wonderful about it. While it might hurt, its definately easier if you don't dwell on it for months on end. Go out, have fun with your friends. Go to the movies, have a video night at home, have a Rocky Horror Picture Show party! When the guy and I broke up, it was just before the summer holidays. I thought, by the end of the holidays, I was over him. When I got back to school I realised that wasn't the case, and that really hurt. Eventually, it just took time. Because I wasn't always with him, I could see the bad parts of him that I'd missed when we were going out. I'm not sure that guy and I can be classified as friends. We were nice enough to each other at the end of the year, but we just went our seperate ways. Another of my friends was really infatuated with this girl. They'd gone out, and she'd broken it off, and they'd gone out again, and she'd broken it off again. And he was really upset about it. The thing was, however, that he never let on that he was upset about it. Then one night at a party he and I had a talk about it and he let his feelings out, including the hate of her because she'd done this to him. Now he's a lot better. He still sort of likes her, but he can deal with that, and he's ready to be friends. It might take time, and there may always be a sort of melancholy if you think about it all too much [like how it was in the beginning and what happened and was it you?] but the fact of the matter is this; it wasn't you, it's life, and that's what happens. We've just got to deal with it. *hugs* Hope I helped.
11. Whoa. This thread really makes me glad that I don't go to school in America. I've never heard of a closed campus in Australia. My school is completely open; we don't have a 'main building' that houses all our classrooms. All the walkways and everyting are outside, and where we eat is outside too. Visitors need to report to the office, generally. We do have a very strict attendance record; by second period all the teachers are aware of who is away and who isn't, so it's hard to wag. Really, we have to worry more about fires than shootings. The ground is so dry here that it could really do some damage if there ever was a fire. As for Universities; they're much the same. I recently went to QUT in Brisbane, and that had no guards/security. It was pretty much come and go as you please. It's really sad to see a country has gotten to a point where their kids have to be locked up each day for fear of getting shot. I mean, to me, that just says something has gone very, very wrong.
12. Group Projects as a whole aren't really my cup of tea. That's not to say I'm against Group Projects, in fact, I enjoy myself. I'm really quite social and working in a group gives me a chance to develop my teamwork skills and communication. The problem is, however, that other people also enjoy themselves...a little too much. It can get really frustrating when a group member spends their entire time talking, laughing and bludging. I had an experience last year in Drama which wasn't so pleasant. The girl I ended up partnered with wasn't really all that interested in, y'know, getting a decent grade. She spent most of her time bludging. We read through the script about 4 per week, when we should have been able to get through it 3 and a half to 4 times per lesson. Despite that, I was willing to go on and keep going. We'd have to put some extra effort in on the day, but we could still net ourselves a B, at least. The girl didn't even show up on the day. Perhaps she was sick, like her friend said, but I was sick too and it wasn't fair just to leave me stranded -- especially because that day was almost my only chance to do the assessment, because I was leaving for England on the Friday. In the end, we did get it done out of class time, but the girl didn't know her lines, and that threw me off. Then the prompt corrected me everytime I made a mistake, even if it was just one word. It was a bit of a shambles. I've learnt, though. Groupwork, you need some direction from someone, and I'm happy to be the one giving it, even if it makes me less popular with whoever I'm working with. Once everyone in the group realises that we will all pull our weight, it's a lot more relaxed. And by Year 12, here, most people realise that not doing any work will stuff up their Exit score, so they all haul arse. So I think that Group work is stupid in younger grades. Even if you can handle it, other members in the group generally aren't mature enough to do so. At the same time, I think the point of groupwork is also to teach people about interaction. After all, while you may work independantly when you get a career, you'll also have to interact within a group to meet your teams goals. And I think that's what Groupwork is trying to prepare you for, in a twisted kind of way. ^.^
13. Shy, I think I love you. The fun you're having writing this is definately coming across to the reader, because it's fun just to read it. I love the way the characters are somewhat stereotypical, but not outlandishly obvious. The story you have here just comes across as the kind of thing I love to write. It just rolls off your tongue and is so easy, it's like cutting butter with a chef's knife. Pops is a fantastic character, and the quirkiness of the Diamond Pass Highway, with its lack of gas stations, is just lovely. The only awkward thing in the entire piece, in my opinion, is this line:
Breakfast is the wrong word though, she figured, when you wake up at noon ?breakfast? is a misnomer.
It just doesn't seem to run smoothly. However, under no circumstances will I allow you to cut it out; just change it a little. I think even just swapping the second comma for a semi-colon might do the trick. I know I'm coming very close to gushing, but I do love this story. It is just so easy, and relaxed and informal. Really great, Shy. ^_^
14. Oh, my gosh. This entire thread just makes me laugh. My brother came out to check on me, I was laughing so loud -- he thought I was crying. As to moderation when I was a member, I remember 'back in the day' when I first came, I was totally in awe of mods. My personal favourite was this cool, calm, confident [slightly bitchy] female mod. I totally looked up to her. She was so cool and she didn't take any crap. Man, I loved DeathKnight. XD [It was the avatar, I swear! *hugs Ken*] As for becoming a mod myself; Shin was correct -- we all do it for the sex. :p Heh. For me, in the most part, I accepted because of how much I love these boards. While I enjoyed being a member, I thought I could contribute more. In the end, when I was asked to be a mod, there really was no question what so ever. I've been moderating for nigh on a year now, and I can't imagine not being here.
Shy Quite a few people would be surprised by the Yaoi sub-forum that inhabits it, for example.
Man, I want a Yaoi forum! At the very least, a thread...>.>
15. It's all about attitude. It's entirely possible to give suggestions without Playing Mod. The difference, in my opinion, is really quite easily seen. Playing Mod is often blunt. For instance "This thread is in the wrong forum. It should be in [Forum]" or something along those tones, is playing mod. It isn't helpful, it doesn't encourage the poster, and unless something else is included, it's also spam. However, something like "This thread isn't in the right forum, but I'm sure one of the mods will take care of it soon," and then actually contributing to the discussion and replying to the topic of hand [thus making the 'this thread is in the wrong forum' a side note, not a beration] is quite acceptable. See the difference? Members often go overboard when playing mod, and while you are saying the same thing, in the second instance, the attitude is not superior, it's just a 'by the way' sort of thing. Basically, if you reply to the discussion, [and be nice about any suggestions you may make], then I see that as just being a member of OB. This is a community, after all, and everyone goes through a learning curve. A side note like that will let the thread poster figure out what's wrong, but they won't feel like everyone is against them because of it.
16. Alan's correct; being more focussed in this will certainly improve it. At some points you go of on tangents [like the; A dark lord drinking milk?] and perhaps have more description instead of telling us what happened. This stands out to me in this paragraph: Then Lady Asphyxia walked out from the fight, her hair blown back by the winds that have suddenly come upon then. Her Velegant Hosting was to match that of the Dark Lord Alan, both were equally matched, but soon she was joined by Semjazza, he also had hosting to die for, both combined there powers. They ran and attempted an assault on the Dark Lord Alan, but he fired a missile of PHP towards them, they dived but still got it. They decided to fall into the shrubbery, into a milky white mess. Yes, Alan had been drinking milk, a Dark Lord who drank milk? Who has ever seen or heard of a Dark Lord who drank milk? Maybe that Hades guy, but hey look where he is, in a past religion where no-one cares about him. You use quite a few 'then' words here, which makes it seem that it's quite more a "Then they went to school. At school they went to class". Don't tell us what happened, show us, heh. But yeah, not a bad story. ^_^" *is impressed* *waits for the next chapter*
17. Thought that, since this thread means you can post a poem without having to worry about CC, I'd revive the thread. This thread has been rated M as a precautionary measure, against previous poems. If your poem is of 'M' content, just put it in the title as a warning. ^.~ Writer I wrote something today [Does that make me a writer again?] It sang melodies and minums [But they were only in my head] And the world stopped and stared [But you kept walking away] And when I was finished, I smiled [And hit the delete key.]
18. It's been implied, but I do agree with this idea. As Charles said, such a move would decrease duplicate threads, incoherant threads and the "what's your favourite ..." threads, since most members already know such threads aren't allowed. By the time Newbies are able to create new threads, they will have learnt the basic ins and outs of Otakuboards. At the moment, New Members are only New Members for 50 posts, which isn't a large amount. By 20 posts, most members have learnt what OB is about, and have a grasp of the rules and the community here, so even half of the current 'New Member' post count would be enough to ensure that a New Member knows how to get around. By limiting the New Members' ability to post threads, it will allow them a period of 'learning' before beginning to create their own threads. In my opinion, it'll only increase the post quality here.
19. What you're talking about is lucid dreaming. Lucid dreaming is basically when you are aware of the fact that you're dreaming, and you realise you body is asleep. From there, a person can learn to control their dreams, apparently, which is what Phayt is talking about. ^_^ As for me, I've never had a lucid dream. However, I do often confuse being awake with dreaming. Once on retreat, I dreamt that two people were on a bed on the far side of the room, talking. When I woke up, I found out my roommate had actually had a guy in the room that night. I'd woken up and groggily taken note of it, then when I fell asleep again, I'd thought it was a dream, lol.
20. As well as that, inauguration week is paid for by multi-million dollar companies. It's a chance for these companies to 'wine and dine' politicians and higher ups and it's one of the last places that these companies can legally do that. Like HC said, they see it as an investment; after all, wining and dining the right people could get the 'right' policies pushed through faster. Of course, that's all I know about it, because that's the only part of the news that I got last night in between my brother's X-box playing. I might have missed the bigger picture, but I do find that part interesting.
21. Okay, what I find ridiculous is that when I was in England, the price for a litre of fuel was something like 97 pence. The English pound is stronger than both American and Australian money; it roughly translates to something like 2.4 Australian dollars per litre. Crazy, neh? It's really scary to see what the fuel cartels can do when they all decide to jack up prices. By doing that, the service stations will have to jack up prices, so we'll have to pay more, as well. Of course, that's the way with cartels, isn't it. If they all decide they won't sell their services/goods for under X amount of money, then what can the consumer do but pay it? [/economics post]
22. Whoo, I've been meaning to get to this.
What is it?OB Anthology Why is it Nifty? Because I love it. I've been posting there for as long as I've been posting on OB, and I've always loved seeing what everyone comes up with. ^_^ The recent postings and threads have been great, and I'm really happy with the way it's come along.

What is it?55 Fiction Why is it Nifty? Sara's fantastic idea was, after all, what inspired everyone to post in OB Anthology. It's a great idea to give free reign to your creativity, but at the same time know that you won't have to keep the idea going, which can be tiring.

What is it?Sara Why is it Nifty? Because her 55 Fictions are the best. And also because she is my favourite writer, or one of them. Because she and Shy are probably the only people I have bracket conversations with, too. But mainly, because she's a fantastic person.

What is it?Solo Tremaine Why is it Nifty? Because I'm the leader of his fan club, and if 'The We Think Casablanca Should Be Re-Named Soley' Club doesn't manage to make him Nifty, then something isn't right. :p

What is it?V7 Why is it Nifty? If it isn't Nifty, nothing is. I swear I remember someone actually describing it as Nifty. I personally used 'Spiffy' and 'Shiny', not Nifty, but it's certainly close to. V7 marked the beginning of a huge change for OB, and the shininess was only part of the goodness.

What is it? The Nifty Fifty Why is it Nifty? It made me say 'shininess' and 'goodness' in the one sentence. It's a great idea, and a fun way to break from traditional awards, and it's fun to do.

What is it? James Why is it Nifty? He's James. Matrix-freak, Kill-Adam-creator, Site-Director, Website Design-er-ator. 'Nuff said?

What is it? Alan Why is it Nifty? He's only slightly insulting, his dirty mind is somewhat disgusting, and his 'l337 skillz' are moderately brilliant. But aside from his life in moderation, he's also a fantastic guy to chat to -- probably the only person I talk to on a regular basis, and he's always willing to help out with anything, and he's a great writer.

What is it? Shy Why is it Nifty? His Kill Adam posts are always great, despite what he thinks, and he's just...brilliant. And that's all I need to say. He knows I luff him. ^_^

What is it? Charles Why is it Nifty? Because he always has the best picatoors for closing threads. He's always happy to talk to me, and he's the one who's always encouraged me to be the best member I can be. [Plus, I forgot him the first time, because I got distracted, haha. I knew I'd forgotten my 10th person. XD]

23. Happy Gilmore is crass, lol. I think poorly of all of you for watching that. * Nice chapter. I really like the part where she blasts the jcgoudy, heh. And the backstory seems really good. *is interested* Also, I really like the way that you make it hard for people to be Hunters. Actually, I really like a lot of things. :p Write more. More, I say! * I own the damned video. Flame me not, lol.
24. Lady Asphyxia

SYF:

Rae?d turned to Callum just after the Commander announced that he?d be coming with them on the mission. She smiled brightly, ignoring the pain at the back of her head. Liam was right. She really did need to get some ice onto it. The damn thing was starting to throb. Still, if Matt even had an inkling that she wasn?t in perfect health, he?d take her off the mission completely... and she really didn?t want that. She whispered to Callum, a smirk in her voice, ?You?re coming with us?? He nodded, linking their hands together and smiling at her. ?What, Miss Intelligence things she?s too good for me?? He was teasing her; she could tell by the gleam in his eyes. ?Oh, not at all,? she replied. ?I was just wondering how you?d go with the big guns,? she laughed at his exasperated expression. ?I know. Modest, aren?t I??. Callum stood up and pulled her up with him. The group had already started trickling out, preparing themselves for the coming mission. Liam was still in the room, talking to Matt quietly. Rae was giggling ? how long had it been since she?d giggled? ? as she waved to the pair while she and Callum made their own exit. Still holding hands, they walked down the corridor quietly. ?So,? he said, grinning down at her with an exaggerated sleazy look on his face, ?What shall we do to pass the time until the mission?? Grinning at the almost subtle hint, she answered honestly. ?Actually, I was planning to go get some ice. Callum?s expression turned serious, his gaze sharp. ?What do you need ice for?? Evading his piercing gaze, she muttered her reply. ?What?? ?I said, I bumped my head.? He looked at her for a second, eyes narrowed, then he took her by the shoulders and turned her around, tilting her head down to check the injury, much like Liam did just minutes ago. ?You aren?t normally clumsy.? Rae sucked on her lip, then exhaled quickly. ?Liam and I had a... philosophical disagreement.? The hands on her head stilled. ?And you bumped your head on what exactly?? Callum?s voice was ice. Rae?d never heard him sound like this before, never thought he could be so angry, so...calmly dangerous. Stupid of her. He was an agent, after all. For once, Rae?s lying abilities failed her, though she wanted to protect Liam, she couldn?t lie to Callum. It was against her ?moral code?. She sighed. ?I bumped it against the elevator wall.? ?And what were you doing when you bumped it against the wall?? ?Nothing.? That, at least, was the truth. Rae had been so shocked at how easily Liam had thrown her, she?d done nothing to prevent or lessen the impact. She?d been stunned, pretty much. ?Okay, what was Liam doing when you bumped your head against the wall?? He sounded like he was gritting his teeth, though his hands still rested gently on her head. ?He was,? she paused slightly, then admitted the truth softly. ?Throwing me into the elevator.? Callum?s shout of rage made her whirl around in surprise. She pressed her palms against his chest, trying to get him to calm down. ?It wasn?t that big a deal, seriously. I deserved it. I was about to shoot him in the stomach.? Callum stared at her. ?What the fuck happened?? She shook her head slightly. ?It was insane. We completely blew up. I honestly think that I could have lost him...and that he could have lost me.? She took a deep breathe. ?It was just all this shit, from forever. From the first mission we were ever one, right up until now. And...? she paused and looked at him for a second, remembering. ?I went to hit him but he blocked me, so I draw my gun and leveled it at his stomach. So he threw me into the elevator.? Callum swore, went to walk away and then turned around and took her hand, starting to pull her with him. She followed, simply because she wasn?t sure she should push him anymore than she already had. She?d never seen him so angry. He kept storming until he reached the break room, pulling open the freezer and getting out some ice. He pushed her down into the chair, and she sat with very little grace, staring at her ?mild-mannered? boyfriend. This side of him was completely unknown to her. Who?d realize that he?d have such a temper? Still, when he pressed the ice to her bump, he was gentle. ?Rae,? Callum said softly. ?I have to say this. I?m sorry, but...? he trailed off then began anew. ?I don?t think Liam is good for you. You have been his friend for years, you have put up with all the crap that he dishes out. I?ve seen how much he hurts you ? first hand ? and I didn?t like it, but I could accept it, because that?s what friendship is about. ?But he threw you against a wall? And you?re willing to forgive him, just like that? Do you have some sort of masochistic tendency that I don?t know about? I mean, honestly Rae, you?re probably his best friend, but when push comes to shove, what did he do? He shoved you into an elevator.? Rae took a breath to say something, but Callum kept talking in that soft, melodious voice of his. ?The guy?s unstable, Rae. Why can?t you see that? One day, he will hurt you so much that it can?t be fixed.? Rae took his hand, and tugged on it until Callum was standing in front of her. She smiled slightly. ?Callum, Liam and I...I think we needed to have that fight. Yes, I got hurt, but the fact is that in that ? and after that ? we resolved a lot that couldn?t have been otherwise.? She smiled slightly. ?But thank you for your concern.? He frowned, and went to say more, but seemed to stop himself. ?Any other injuries that need looking at?? Looking away from him, she admitted; ?I sort of hurt my back. It hit the handrail, it might come up in some bruising.? Callum sighed and pulled her till she was standing. ?C?mon, we?ll go to my room and look at it.? She smiled at him, and he smiled back tentatively, the protectiveness shining fiercely in his eyes. She wished she hadn?t told him.
25. duoikari, the reason no one realised that this was supposed to be a basic background to the episodes [at least, that's what I've picked up from the resulting posts; correct me if I'm wrong.] is that you didn't actually tell us that. While everyone at OB is marvellous [Modest, aren't I?], we aren't mindreaders. ^.~ As for the plots, as a background for a TV series, they seem very good. As the plot, they do seem rather complex. Most stories I've seen have a major driving force behind them, as r2vq said. However, you do have some interesting ideas. If you can figure out what to take to the background [as stuff that's there but not really present and in every episode], and what to keep and use as your plot, it should do well. If you need help having someone clarify what happens at OB, please feel free to PM me. Morpheus, this thread was moved to OB Anthology, so it should no longer worry Dagger ^.~. As well as that, this thread is getting far off topic. Anymore concerns should be related to me, not posted.
