Heh, we're not trying to insult you or anything. I just said that I didn't think that it was Fantasy, because in my mind it isn't... They are good books. Great books, in fact. There's just this little thing that stops me from readin more than one at a time. I don't know what yet, though.

We most probably will. I for one plan to enter something, and not just because I've been guilted into it. [Because I haven't] Heh. Congradulations to both. ^_^

What would you do with a Trillion dollars?
Lady Asphyxia replied to Senor Ding Dong's topic in General Discussion
I myself would buy lots of material things and refuse to give anything to anyone. Except in Scallops. If anyone wants payments it would be in Scallops. And I'd make a publishing place, where I could publish my work. -
Sometimes it can get annoying when you're judged on your looks. I probably get judged all the time, but it never really matters, because, quite frankly, I blend in with everyone else. However unfairly, people are judged by their looks alone a lot. Really, ther'es nothing that can be done except either get pissed off, or ignore it.

Read it. Well, them. Some of them. Heh.I'm currently reading 'The Last Continent'. I don't classify them as Fantasy novels as such. I mean, I know that they're in an AU, and there are creatures that aren't human, but I still don't think of them as Fantasy.

I love the simpleness of Cinquain poems, although I can never write them. >.< Dark Dragon: I like the repitition of I, and the human at the end. Dust:I don't really know why I like it, but I do. Heh.

She advanced slowly, her eyes glinted with pure malice. The child she had her gaze on whimpered, clutching a little doll to her chest. There was fire pouring around them, and the girl was smeared with the blood of her parents. There was terror in her eyes, pure and simple. Ragged clothes, bloody feet, and a horror in her expression that would never be erased showed exactly what this human pig had been through. It wasn't enough, but it would have to do. She quite simply slashed the child's throat with her katana. While not very creative, it was, she thought with a pang of amusement, quite effective. The girl dropped to the ground, dead, and Leila picked up her doll, taking it with her on her journey.

Make them all miserable. That's the only way their all going to be happy. Heh. Honestly, it's a no win situation.

My friend is hosting images for me, and he made another image that needed to be hosted, and it threw my image out of whack, because it changed the URL.

I've been talking to this girl [no names, though, so heh.]. She's 13, and she hasn't got her period yet. She says that it's the perfect time for her to have sex, because she can't get pregnant. [sarcasm]Smart, hey?[/sarcasm] Basically, she can get pregnant too. It is altogether possible at that age to get pregnant without having had her period yet. All she needs is the wrong time. Having her period means that she has already ovulated, which means that, had she had sex those two weeks before her period, it would have been during ovulation. Thus; high chance of pregnancy. And then there's the whole moral issue, but I'm not going into that. If you're ready to face the consequences [which you probably aren't, seeing how old you are], then by all means, have sex. *snort* A teenager, or if she's older, a person who was once a teenager? Please use the "edit" button instead of double posting. --Elite. Heh. Sorry. A post in between mine were deleted.

When I burnt my finger on a piece of magnesium. Long story, but basically, I knew how hot it was when I touched it. Heh.

The fires were gorgeous, dancing and weaving to their own special rhythm. Leila sat by herself, listening to the nearby conversations as she watched the flickers. The upcoming attacks were worrying. If they couldn't find enough reinforcements, they would have the disadvantage. Leila slowly twirled the flames into a picture, amusing herself with stories. She was wasting herself and her strength, she knew, but at this moment, boredom was prevailing. Her picture was quickly discarded like yesterday's meat, and Leila ambled over to Kenratu and Amatros. Leila: We're in a fine mood tonight. Spirits are high. It's the perfect time to act. There was a silent communication between the two. She waited for their opinions, ignoring the crackling and the sparks at the side of her vision. The fire could be ignored. Kenratu: We need more first. You know this. She accepted his answer, sitting down beside them and staring absently into the fire once again. The force of her mental nonattendance drowned any voices out.

Most of the poem I just don't like. I don't know if it's the freestyle or anything, but most of it I don't like. It sounds rather self-pitying to me. I do, however, particularly like the last line, welcome hand rests on my shoulder and takes me into eternity. Otherwise, heh.

Writing My broken Dove (language warning)
Lady Asphyxia replied to nichire's topic in Creative Works
One word comes to mind; masochistic. Okay, yes, there is probably a lot of metaphor there, for instance in the cutting, but it sounds [at least, the impression I get] like you're begging him to hurt you. Look after the spelling, [that's what spell-check is for], and try to use punctuation. Otheriwse, keep up the writing. -
Originally posted by Mitch Echoes Of Something More To Say Willowing into the ground Water flows and echoes down Smiling as the sun shines drown There is a masque in the frown Don't you know And don't you care Water is echo's lair If you fall into the murk Maybe then the clear will flirt But don't you know And don't you care Echo's wave is of despair If you fall into the murk Tears will cry but they won't work
Those stanzas are my favorite in that poem. I really like the rhythm and the imagery, and I can read it and picture the scene. Very well done.

Heh. First of all, RPW is not dead. Most of us are busy in the busiest sense of the word. I know I spent half my time on AIM complaining to you that I had to do my school work [Which I finally got done ^____^], and in the end, I didn't have time to do the RPW entry, considering how huge it was this time. I got to the second paragraph and got writers block [as always >.

Name: Leila Race:Shade Age: 2763 Weapon: Although adept with most weapons, Leila prefers to use her katana, made of amazingly light - yet strong and durable - metal, which seems to glow a strange blue at odd times. Supernatural Power: Pyromancy [The ability to control fire and heat], Aquamancy and Aeromancy. Bio: Leila draws her strength from her upraising and heritage; that of the heir to the Ikrantu. As Kenratu's daughter, her past is just as clouded as his. She's been raised with Kenratu's opinions and beliefs, and adopted them, seeing humans as her inferiors and treating them with all the contempt she has in her being. Leila delights in tormenting them, and her favorite past-time is hurting them. Strangely child-like, Leila has a chirpy, rather morbid - in a happy way - personality. Her reactions to circumstances conflict, as they tend to be childish and mature at the same time. Intellectually, she uses everyone of her years. Emotionally, she is both a confused teenager and an elderly she-demon. Description: Only, with black skin, with no horns. I find the my parents were pressuring me to stay away from drugs part funny. Heh. You're 13. While I'm not much older [3 months to my 15th birthday ^.^], don't screw yourself up. Cigarettes may be more addictive than weed, but weed messes with your body way worse. [Was that even coherant?] Heh. Apparently I'm a loser. Wait...I am. But going to parties isn't everything, and if you're getting in trouble for it...

Oh! He's a wizard, isn't he? He's going to kill you with a spell! So you throw water on him, right? Otherwise, I still go with 'Say nothing'.

I myself really like Mythology, although I'm not a History buff, by any means. I also really like Medieval history. Otherwise, I'm happy to repeat mistakes already made...

You say "Got your nose," then run away. Or you could say nothing, and run away. Or you could take his sword and say, "Got your nose," and slash him when he tries to kill you with the spell. Or you could take his sword, say "Don't got your nose," and he couldn't kill you because you have the sword. Or you could ignore me...

Welcome! I'm Lady Asphyxia. I came here because *drumroll* I got prodded onto here. You'll soon find out I'm one of "Liam's". He's pretty [*snort*] well known. Anyway, when I came, I already knew some people, and then I met the Newbie Lounge. [Yes, yes, I bring it up a lot in these threads, but there's usually a reason for it...] And I knew Rain, Deus, and Soley. Then, people talk to you on Instant Messengers and you get to know each other outside OB. Well, that's how I meet people, at least.

Personally, I think that differences - I don't care how large - are fine. Although, obviously, I think that the younger partner needs to be mature enough to accept the differences. Some people are pretty mature by the age of 17 [though not most], so they naturally hang around older people... At least, that's my take on it.

Solitude. Yes, yes, I love being around my friends, but I'm always the hyperactive one there, and sometimes it feels like I'm just putting on a mask. I like being alone and being able to be quiet. I like reading. I like not having the pressure of being the happy one, and instead just being. Nothing else. I love being alone, even though I'd go crazy if I were alone all the time.

If there are three roads and two choices, I'm going to choose the third choice. I'll go with...kill them both. At least, I think that's what it is. Or is it kill neither? o.O I'm confused...
