Has anyone even HEARD of Insane Clown Posse?
Originally posted by Nomad Heh, if you listen to Eminem he says F**K you in almost every song, to somebody for some reason.
*has puzzled look. Your point? I don't listen to Eminem, and what did he have to do with anything? Anyway, I was just stating out of my, self-proclaimed ignorance, what ONE of my first impressions were of this band. No, need to get upset, but based on what has been said in this thread I dtill don't think I'd waste my time (but you can go right ahead and waste all the time YOU want on this band, I don't care.) -
Originally posted by James Yes -- he made it clear that he made that part up. The kids only swore at him. He was the first to use violence.
Okay thanks for clearing that up, as long as HE said that. Anyway, I don't think it was the best thing to do if you had to lie to the police to keep out of trouble (basically it was probably illegal so that's not too cool.) It really sounds like the kids were being jerks and they got what was comming to them, but throwing the first fist is lowering yourself to their level. But, it's over and all I can hope for is that they learned their lesson, because if they didn't punching them was pretty much in vain. -
I have a ring in each ear, one in my nose, three in my bottom lip, one on my right nipple, and a chain connecting them all. It really hurts when I sneeze...(lol) Actually I don't have one single peircing or tatoo, heck I haven't even died my hair. But I may get a tatoo... someday.

Okay, I've read this thread and still have one question. I still want to know, from Harry, if he lied to the police about the kids trying to hit him with their skateboards? -
Originally posted by Fiasco JESUS CHRIST
What does He have to do with this band (please note the annoyed sarcasm.) Anyway, I haven't actually heard this band but I know a few people who like them, and based on the way they say about them I wouldn't like them. Why, one of the reasons is that whenever the people I know sing there songs it's always something like "**** you"* (oooh, so much lyrical depth). Personally I don't get into to stuff like that, I find it rather dumb. *not a direct quote but I hope you understand what I mean. -
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel hell they do a cover of the Tetris theme ...
Hey, I know that song, I didn't know it was Ozma that did it but I had been trying to figure it out. I have heard a few other songs but I wasn't really paying to much attention. Anyway, I'm interested and maybe I'll check them out.

Best Music News of the Year (at least for me.)
OlgaTheDwarf replied to OlgaTheDwarf's topic in Noosphere
They hadn't broken up for long, about one year (but that was also kind of a reuinion), but it was still sad for me. Especially since they cancelled all the shows in my area and I never had the chance to see them live. Now, hopefully I will :D . Anyway, congrats on the Pixies, and I hope you get to see them live. -
Well, I doubt anyone will care except me but the band Zao (R.I.P. no more :D ) is coming back to record a new album on August 25. The line-up will include : Dan (vocals), Rob (bass), Russ (guitar), Jesse (drums), and Scott (guitar). I'm very excited about this line-up because it's frickin amazing and has not been like this since the release of Liberate Te Ex Inferis , five years ago (now if only Brett(Juliana Theory) would come back, then it could be the same line up as they had on Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest.) This is by far the best music news this year... for me at least. Okay, this is the second best news this year because I just found out (while making this thread) I got a job (but I know no one cares about that.

I like to think of them as a blend of metalcore and "emo", but whatever. Anyhoo, I like them and I agree that short stories with tragic endings is there best song.

Okay, to start I will say that I was DRAGGED to this movie with low expectations, by a Johnny Depp crazed fan. But, I will also say that I was surprised to find a well done pirate movie. It wasn't the "most amazing thing I ever seen", but it was worth the $7 (that my sister actually paid) to see it. I think Johnny Depp is a great actor and he did a very good job and was amazingly sarcastic, but Orlando Bloom sucked (I'm not a fan), and the girl looked freakishly like Natalie Portman. I give it a 7.5/10.

They're good. I wanted to go and see them a couple of months ago because they were touring with Norma Jean and .hopesfall., but that was on the other side of the country.

And the winner is... Jesus Chicken.

Would you rather me say I'm a Perfect person and don't ever sin. Dude, I tell you that I'm a sinner because it's true, and saying I'm perfect would be lying. I'm simply pointing out that, Yes I'm a sinner and that is why I'm a Christian. I need God's forgiveness that He offers freely to everybody. Yes, I could say that I'm Perfect and float around on my little halo all day saying "turn or burn" but I don't because you would say that I'm being a hypocrite. Even Paul from the Bible said that he was the "Chief of Sinners", and whoa, even if people thought I am even half the man Paul was that be whoa. As for sex only being used for pro-creation, dude I'm really sorry you think that. Go find a Bible read Song of Solomon, (or it might be Song of Songs, the name is different in a lot of Bibles) then tell me what you think. It's a very beautiful story of a Man and his Wife. I talks A LOT about the pleasures of sex. So, enjoying sex is very much OKAY as long as it's within marriage. But, this is very off topic so if you have a problem with me and my beliefs could you PLEASE PM me. (In fact I would like that very much.)

I would like to see some more but right now it's between Charles and Lady Asphixia.
Originally posted by James I don't think you can compare being gay to lying and then say that you're not judging gay people. In any case, please bear in mind what this thread is about. This thread specifically relates to gay marriage and people's opinions on it. We do not need a lecture on how Christianity views homosexuality, largely because it's already been explained ad nauseum in this thread alone. Let's move past that and continue to discuss other substantive issues on this topic.
Well, I said that homosexuality is a sin, I also said that lying is a sin, so I can see where you might have missed what I meant. What I meant by not judging gay people was that if, lets say, one of my friends told me he was gay, even though I don't agree with that I wouldn't treat him differently than any of the rest of my friends. I don't treat people whose lifestyles I don't agree with like scum, simply because they don't deserve that, (and the fact that I don't agree with a lot of people I know). So yeah, homosexuality is a sin which puts it on the same level of lying, but if I judged people on their sins I would be a major hypocrite because I'm a horrible person and a bigtime sinner. Anyway, well I thought my post was be pretty valid seeing as it's not just Christianity's views but mine also. You said yourself this thread was for people's opinions on gay marriages, and I believe I stated in my post that it's what I believe. The rest of it was just me explaning why I believe that.
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve lol... ofcourse he created Adam and Eve (Steve wasn't even a name back then anyway).... I mean seriously, how dense can you get?.... He made Adam and Eve cause he wanted them to be fruitful and multiply... that would be kinda hard had there been two men there now wouldn't it? In fact that would have been then end of the human race. I don't think God wanted that. I mean seriously, there was no need for Gay people when God created humans. Not if he wanted the race to flurish. I can't understand why people keep refering to this ridiculous quote.
Ok, I know what you're saying and yes God did create a man and a woman so they could "be fruitful and multiply", but that's not all. It also says in the Bible that God saw that Adam was lonely, so He created Eve to be his Partner. Another thing is that God is God he is all powerful and saying that He couldn't make us all men is limiting his power. If he wanted to he could have made us all men (or maybe we wouldn't even call ourselves that) and give us all both types of reproductive organs. In fact he could have created us in a way that gave us the ability to reproduce without sex (but what would be the fun in that, heh), but he didn't, he created sex as a perfect union between a man and a woman.
It's not a question of how you or I look on marriage but how my Masters look on it
This quote was taken out of the book That Hideous Strength by C.S. Lewis. It wasn't put there for the purpose of gay marriages but I think it relates to how this thread has gone. I am a Christian and believe that God created Adam and Eve (not Adam and Steve) as the first humans. And creating them he joined them together in his perfect unity a Man and his Wife. God created marriage and he created it for a Man and a Women anything else is a perversion of his creation. That is what I believe but in the end it's a choice made between You and God. I can't tell you "you have to be straight", because everybody has freedom of choice. But, I can state what I believe and try to make you see it. A person isn't "going to go to hell for being gay". People go to hell because God can't live with sin and every person has a choice whether to sin or not, and everyone except Jesus has sinned. Yes it's true homosexuality is a sin because it violates God's perfect creation of marriage, but that just shows that everybody need God's salvation through Jesus' sacrifice, whether it be for being gay or lying it's all sin to God. Another mis-conception made by people is that since I'm a Christain I hate God's because homosexuality is a sin. The fact is God told us to love everyone, He didn't say love perfect people. I don't care if you're gay, my first commandment as a Christian is to love people and leave the judging up to God. And because everyone is a creation of God and that in itself makes something to love about everyone. As for gay marriages; I don't think they're right, but (as I said before) it's a decision made before you and God. I am not going to judge you if you're gay, but I still will stand by my beliefs. P.S. PM me if you have any questions about Christianity.
Originally posted by Chris nevada has some pretty good ones. so does mexico.
Yep, you can get just about any kind of firecracker in Mexico. But, you don't always get what you buy, sometimes it's just a stick of dynamite wraped up to look like a firecracker. Anyway, firecrackers aren't illegal in my state(CA), but they are very illegal in the county I live in.

You do know that not all deserts are filled with sand? Saying that some might even consider WW's big Ocean a desert.
Originally posted by Desbreko TWW - There's 49 islands in the game, I'm not going to name them all. :worried:
Actually if you want to get technical there aren't 49 islands in WW (their are 49 squares). Yes it's true each square has something on it, but not everything is an island and some of the squares have more than one island.
Question: Which Zelda games have deserts in them?
It depends on what you consider desserts. What do you consider desserts?

The God's Must Be Crazy 2. ( I have respect for anyone who understands this.) (Edit: Oops, I just realized they actually made The God's Must Be Crazy 2. I of course have only seen the first one, but it's one of the funniest movies I've seen. I guess I'll change my answer to "The God's Must Still Be Crazy."
