i personally have seen too much not to believe, and sightings have been around since the 1900's you can't dismiss all of them. It would also be a huge waste of space if we were only ones in the universe. Most scientists dismiss aliens because they say the Cambrian explosion might never have happened on earth so its highly improbable it would happen anywhere else. Cambrian schmambrian!

i think anything electrical can be hacked, so i doubt it spells serious trouble for x box. It could be the same for pc's, oh my gosh! They hacked into a computer! Microsoft is done!

because life is unfair. And it also depends where you buy it, if you buy it on the net you might get a better price than a store. But i think it all comes down to popularity and demand. If you had a choice between a dbz and a ghost in the shell tape, which one do you think would cost more? The GITS would probably cost more, but then again,(contradiction is sweet) dbz might cost more because its better known. My opinion? The demand is low charge more. Thats why God gave us those beautiful recording machines that we call vcr's. And oh yeah, burning 'em on dvd isnt bad either. (no illegal implications) :)

i wouldnt go as far as saying everything that has gone mainstream is quality. At the risk of being mauled, i say Pokemon is annoying. I personally consider mainstream what is popular on television and can be easily purchased at any major chain of stores. I dont think all dubbed is mainstream, thats just a big generalization. If dbz had debuted on cn with subtitles, i think it would still have been popular thought not as much maybe. . There is alot of dubbed anime out there and it would be stupid to call them all mainstream.

welcome to my world, man my town is dominated by kids who like pikachu and dbz and think thats all there is to the world. Then the other side think anime all suck. Im stuck! I took a anime tape to a friends house and she was like, is it almost over? I grabbed Captain Tylor's box and gasped and fainted. Well, i almost did.

For me basically anything that ends with "mon" i end up hating. It isnt intentional but i can't stand digimon or pokemon. I just hate the fact that Ash is like Pikachu whats wrong? (to which pika responds) pika pika pika pika. what, yells Ash, you were attacked? ahhhhhhhhhhhggggggggggggggggg Dont they ever really talk! Digimon i just dont get into it.

i agree with amibasuki, i myself enjoy pc but it doesnt hold a candle to evan.

Is there any anime series/movie/manga etc. that you think kind of overplays sappy scenes? I mean like old memories and romantic thoughts? Think Batman, how many movies did it take to come to term to his parents death and get over it, kind of like that. I would go with Blood Reign, the whole running in a field with cherry blossoms was nice- for the first 4 times.:D Doesn't have to be sappy scenes, overdone violence can be an issue. (why do i think ill be getting no posts on the violence one):flaming:

i dont think theres a dbz plot hole here, i think it was in the dragons power, Im almost sure of it.

its very diffrent, i dont really know how to say it. BUt i love the whole thing, it makes me squint at every little detail. I think i can see little humanoid creatures of some sort just kind of fused with the rock, but thats just me.

not bad, just wanted to know more in a chapter.

some people if an anime doesnt include the word saiyajin its weird. (no offense to dbz fans) I think some people get so used to mainstream stuff they don't give other stuff a chance.
