Does anyone own this most awesome shooter on the DS? Is anyone getting it? I was playing it at my boyfriends today and decided to import it, what with the publisher going bust a UK release doesn't look very likely... It's a wierd kinda game tho, I normally hate games I'm no good at and I really REALLY suck at Nanostray... haha, oh well. It's really fun to play. (But the controls take a little getting used to)
-
Well, that's good to know... ^_^ So I was just reading SFX and apparently John Barrowman hasn't been asked back for series 2 yet. :( Which sucks... Apparently his was like, the fastest audition of the entire cast... ^_^
-
I dooubt they'll make Johnny Vegas a compianion... maybe he has a cameo appearance... which could just be mildly entertaining... I dunno bout anyone else but he were in it I'm thinking he'd have to be a slitheen (or another resident of Raxacoricofallapatorious) hehe...

I've been avoiding the newspapres all of last week, so I wouldn't really know what they've been saying, they were determined to give everything away... then again I don't know that ANYBODY foresaw that ending... that was spectacular... The imdb.com entry for Christopher Eccleston says that he had agreed to do onne series and a christmas special... If the christmas special were set chronologically before 'Boomtown' (Since he mentions in 'Bad Wolf' that they went straight from Raxacoricofallapatorious to the gamestation') then it would obviously make sense that it would be the ninth doctor, not the tenth, which is what I would like to happen. Either way it will DEFINITELY be interesting to see... Yea, the Cybermen will be interesting to see, being a relatively new fan I don't know all that much about them, though considering that Rose saw the head of one in Van Stattens' museum, it will be REALLY interesting to see what she makes of them... Roll on Christmas and Series two... sooo can't wait...

[QUOTE=Blackjack][color=DarkGreen][font=Trebuchet MS]Are you sure? I know Christopher Eccleston definitely isn't (as does anyone that saw the series finale yesterday) but I heard that Billie Piper had given a definite yes to series two. I've seen David Tennant in a few things recently - [b]Casanova [/b]and [b]Blackpool,[/b] in both of which he was excellent, bringing a really quirky acting style that really spiced the shows up. I wish Eccleston had done two series - he's been fantastic - but I'm sure Tennant's going to be really at home in such an offbeat character. Also, did anyone actually notice the [b]Bad Wolf [/b]theme running through the series until the Doctor pointed it out in the Cardiff episode? Obviously when they did a refresher flashback I recognised all the clips, but it hadn't really caught my attention before then. [b].:EDIT:. [/b]Oh yeah, there's going to be an hour-long Christmas special to precede the second series, as well. [/font][/color][/QUOTE] I've heard that both Billie Piper and the guy who plays Captain Jack will be back for another two series... how this will play out with things considered will DEFINITELY be interesting. I thought Christopher Ecclestons' acting has been truely amazing, particularly during 'Dalek' (t any point while shouting at the Dalek) and during 'Bad Wolf' after the Anne Droid, well... y'know... >.> As for Bad Wolf... my boyfriend noticed it in 'Aliens of London' and pointed it out to me, of course I didn't believe him until 'Fathers' Day.' The BBC hav opened severa websies over the course of the series, beggining with whoisdoctorwho.com and unit.org.uk after 'Boomtown' they opened the two websites badwolf.org.uk and badwolf.tv and ran a competition to see who could work out who or what Bad Wolf is. The prize was a DVD boxset, nobody got the exact answer... Speculation covered everyone from the Face of Boe to Adam and old faces such as Davros and The Master, among other slightly wilder theories. geocomtex.net was also set up by the BBC but provided little to no clues... the Bad Wolf references also appeared in the novels, those were also meaningless. Quite interesting really, Russel T Davies has had every Who fan I know in a frenzy for the last two weeks, (and some for longer) and the eventual climax soooo lived up to all the hype... I did hear a rumour the Eccleston would be doing the christmas speacial but I have absolubetly no way to prove the persons identity or truth of what they say. All things considered, I'm doubtful. It'd be WAY cool though... ^_^

Oh they've already decided on who will be the 10th Doctor... A man by the name of David Tennant, he could be a LOT worse but... he will hace to work hard to beat Christopher Eccleston (for me anyways). Then again this entire SERIES will be hard to top, with the possible Exception of 'The Long Game' each episode has been better than the last one, every single week I have found myself with a new farourite episode. Tho 'Dalek,' 'The Empty Child' and 'The Doctor Dances' are currently my favourites.

Yea I was pretty gutted when I heard about that... I wonder if we'll get to see a regeneration... Any thoughts on 'Bad Wolf'?
-
Well, I looked and I can't find any threads on this, sooo... Anyone been watching the latest series? I happen to think that Christopher Eccleston is amazing as the Doctor and the whole 'Bad Wolf' storyline has been incredible. Final episode of the series on Saturday... I'm pretty much glued to my TV/Computer trying to work out the big secret of who or what 'Bad Wolf' is. Please someone say I'm not the only fan on a forum as huge as this one...

I wore a school uniform right up until I left high school, from being four in fact. Apart from one school I was at which had a (fairly plain) uniform, but you didn't have to wear it... My first high school was the worst, you HAD, to wear a skrit, and that included for PE. Despite the fact that it frequently gets VERY cold and VERY VERY WET around here... oh, and they had a yellow and navy stripped tie, which I loathed. My second high school would let you wear pants, as long as they weren't flares (which no-one paid any attention to, nobody got in trouble over it either) The whole school had to wear a marron jumper/cardigan and tie, apart from year 11, who wore black jumpers and ties, (Probably so the teachers could spot the lower-school student who were sneaking out at lunch-time) But I really didn't mind that uniform... I don't think uniforms are all that bad, aside from forcing girls to waers skrits (some of us just aren't comfortable displaying our legs, me especially) I just don't like uniform/dress-code rules that don't let you dress warmly in winter...

Yea... the idea behind the background was to show where she was... *shrug* Anyway, another one here, this was originally the background for another picture I was working on... but the background didn't match the charadcter I'd drawn, so I drew in the girl you see there, completely on-the-fly, hehe. It's an alien town, in the snow. I was playing around with blur and smudge tools.

Umm... I'm actually a little nervous about posting this... but, oh well... here goes. umm, I think I'll start with this one, It's a pictureI did for a friend, she write really messed up fanfiction, and somehow that inspired me to make her a character... eheh. This is Raven, the goddess of time, who was imprisoned due to her constant meddling in the lives of mortals. The Raven is her pet, who has the very un-imaginative name of Doom, lol. What do you guys think? EDIT: I'm doing it as a link, because it's too big to upload here and the [IMG] tags shrunk it way too much, it was about two inches across... O_o EDIT AGAIN: Found a .jpg version, I uploaded that so no need for the link now :)

[QUOTE]That's known as Murphy's Law.[/QUOTE] Actually, I know of another name for that... ^_^ but anyway... I know exactly what you mean. I've been waiting online all day for one person to tell help me out. This person is one hour behind me and comes online everyday, except today, apparently. In a simmilar vein, I need one of my MSN friends to get me past a flash menu for a forum I'm on. Of course, I only remembered this AFTER he signed out. I purchased web hosting to put some college work online ready for my Final Presentation, (which was last week) I finally get the details TODAY. (four weeks after I paid for the thing. My brother gives me some webspace, but then we don't have a net connection anyway. (good job I had it on CD) Me and my friends all wanted to go to seperate places for our lunch, so we arranged to meet outside McDonalds, as I was going there and would take the longest. I got outside and managed to eat my entire Chicken Sandwich, they still didn't arrive, I finally decide to look for them, but don't find them. I go back past McDonalds in case they have arrived while I was looking for them. They aren't there, so I decide to head back to collage thinking they will be there. They turn up at college fifteen minutes after me. And what does one of them say..? "We saw you walking away from McDonalds" I'm getting the feeling Murphy is haunting me... ;)

What tricks do you use to fake being sick?
Dragonstar replied to 50 cent's topic in General Discussion
I never really needed or tried to lie. I didn't exactly have a great time of things at school, and usually telling my mum enough times that I didn't want to go in would get me off the hook. I used to get really wound up on Sunday nights, so by the time Moday-morning came, there was basically no need to lie. I think I have, upon occaision, either been so stressed I got a tension headache, OR, psychosomatosised (sp) a headache. I do know someone who tried eating salt to make himself puke. But most people where I live just get on the bus and then get off in the town, or take the train heading the OTHER way. Once they're out of the doors, thier parents don't have a clue and as long as they can fake a note, they're laughing. I DON'T recomend trying these, Especially the lasst one, your parents can get in a lot of trouble (in Engalnd they can now be jailed, I believe) :( -
I love MegaTokyo, I read this marathon style when I found it, which took about, two weeks >_< I really like the way the characters are drawn, particularly their eyes... Miho and Ping are my favourite characters, but Largo... I know someone like him... ^_^ [QUOTE]Yet, in some way I miss Largo's Cool Thing. Stuff just isn't the same without Largo's Cool Thing. [/QUOTE] Hear Hear! I mean, Largo's Cool Thing could save the world someday... :therock: I do kinda feel sorry for Piro though... There's just so much really funny stuff in this, from the gamers in-jokes to Junpei and the Rent-a-zilla... It's priceless. one downside though... Shirt Guy Dom days... :drunk:

Anime Wow... they're just like me!: Characters you identify with
Dragonstar replied to Balinese's topic in Otaku Central
I personally identify a lot with Ed (Cowboy Bebop) I can quite happily sit there for several hours just staring into space, the general concencus among my friends and family is that I'm a complete fruit (or a few pips short) My mum actually said I look like Sakura from 'Naruto' (only with brown hair) if you're interested (which you probably aren't)
