A recent report by the Incident Official at Russel Square tube station's confirmed that emergency services have been called to seven different locations, so it's possible that there've been more than six blasts. But things are still so confused at the moment that it's hard to tell what exactly has happened- we probably won't know the full details for days yet.

I'd like to think that if I were plunged into specific anime series that I'd meet up with the main characters and have some kind of fantastic adventure akin to that seen in so many Mary-Sues on FanFiction.net. Considering my level of various skills, I'd be an okay-ish combatant and a good friend to whoever it may be that I became stuck with or latched myself onto, but really I doubt I'd do anything special. If I were able to choose, I'd go for Digimon. Call it childish, but it's always been a fantasy of mine to have a Digimon to be friends with. Chances are I'd end up in Adventure 02's world where everyone in the world was given a 'mon... boy, then I'd feel special. At least it'd be a start. if it were Tamers, I'd probably end as someone who knows about the digimon (and considering the news reports, I doubt anyone wouldn't... hmm, more exclusivity there) but doesn't have one themselves. I guess my self-esteem isn't growing from this any. Fruits Basket would be a nice anime to be part of; I wouldn't mind that. Being part of the Sohma's extended family sounds pleasant, even if it isn't one directly related to Tohru's residence. I don't know ebough about FullMetal Alchemist to know what being a part of it would be like, so... I'm sure I'd be able to have fun somewhere. Chrono Crusade might be interesting. If I could, I'd try and recruit my services as some kind of demon-slaying swordsman (albeit without the reputation of Louie or Lina Inverse). But that's definitely wishful thinking, heh.
Totally awesome 2thumbs up :D
GreatBird, please put more thought into your posts in future; as this stands it's spam because it's too short. If you like a show, it's always a good idea to explain what it is about it you like (or even something that you didn't like- anything you can think of) to increase the scope for discussion in the thread and to make things more interesting for everyone else to read.
It's not that much of a spoiler O.o. It is a rerun people. If you don't know
Hughes died
by now then too bad, you need to catch up :p . The ending is very emotional yup. Why must the good die young :animecry: ?! It's wierd how [spoiler']Ed saw Hughes waiving to him on the train after he died. I'm glad they didn't play the endiong song too, it would have killed the sad mood.

QuikSilver, that's incredibly insensitive of you. Not only has most of the UK not even seen past episode 4 of FMA, there is a rules thread here which says that people must use spoilers when discussing things that happen later on in the series. I personally have not seen much of FMA, but I would certainly like to without having it all spoiled for me beforehand. Repeatedly failing to use spoiler tags will result in a ban from the site. Please don't be so forward about it.

Ruy Uchiha; gyrados247; both of you need to work on your post qualities. Please make sure you include as much detail as possible and don't continue threads wityh replies that are not related to the topic. Posts that are too short or that are off-topic will be deleted as spam. Anyway, there's a a thread about R.O.D the TV, Read or Die and Anime Unleashed. Please make sure when starting new threads that one about your chosen subject doesn't already exist- we only allow one thread per specific series in the Anime Lounge because otherwise it becomes incredibly hard to find what you're looking for and difficult to moderate. There's an Inu Yasha thread here where you can discuss it to your heart's content, heh. Thread closed.

Panny, I merged your thread with the original Inu Yasha one. Please make sure to check for existing threads before starting a new one, as per the Rules. You can do this either by looking through the Official Threads Directory near the top of the forum, or by running a search. Either way, only one thread per specific anime series is allowed. Otherwise, things become horribly cluttered.

There's a Bleach thread here where you can discuss the manga. Please make sure to check for existing threads before starting a new one. Everyone here needs to work on their post quality. Please make sure you add as much detail to your posts as possible and please don't use abbreviations. I'd recommend everyone here take a look at the Rules as soon as you can. Thread closed.

As far as I can gather, Yu Yu Hakusho is currently not airing in the States on any channels, as has already been said. Please try and add more detail to your posts in future, bracy, and please don't use abbreviations when typing- they're against the Rules, and fuller words look much nicer anyway, heh.

Art Master, there's a One Piece thread located here where you can discuss the series. Please don't start threads without searching first, either by looking through the Official Threads Directory or by running a search directly. Starting unnecessary threads counts as spam, and repeated offences will unfortunately land you with a banned user account. Please be more careful in future. Thread closed.

There's a Wolf's Rain thread here where you're able to discuss the series as much as you want. Please make sure to check for existing threads before starting a new one- we only allow one thread per specific anime in the Lounge, because otherwise things become far too cluttered, heh. Also Ryu Uchiha, please don't double-post. If there's something you want to add to your first post, you can use the 'Edit' button located underneath it. I'd advise taking a look over the Rules when you next get the chance. Thread closed. The darkened concrete walls of the City* stretched out into the distance; signposts, directional arrows and posters positioned at regular intervals along the walls in numerous different languages. The ceiling, near-invisible past the suspended lighting system, was high enough to allow the air around the shop floors to stay at a temperature that was cool and not too humid. Trace could hear the faint hum of the extractor fans above him. Some of the shops had closed for the night- large metal girders bolstered the windows and doors from any attempted break-ins. Others run by more nocturnal creatures stayed open for almost twenty-four hours a day. The traders bore a status close to that of local celebrity as they walked the corridors- everyone was appreciative of their ability to order items in for them. It always reminded Trace of The Shawshank Redemption. but to call Clandestine a prison was more than a little unappreciative. Stopping by a metal bench, he gazed at the two-storey restaurant in the corner of the City's central plaza. Its romantinc lighting levels painted those sitting inside with a wam, enveloping colour, and those on the upper garden level laughed and smiled at each other with equal colour in their bodies. "It has been a long time, hasn't it..." he sighed under his breath, shoving his hands into his pockets before turning himself away and facing the Plaza's fountain. Biting his lip in a mild pang of nostalgia, he shook his head, smiled slightly and paced down another street. Considering the number and type of people who passed through here, he always found it surprising how clean things were. Of course, Trace still hadn't seen the entire complex yet, so he couldn't be sure it was all like this. He nodded towards a friend as he passed a shop. The golem's gravely expression broke into a wide smile as he noticed his partner of a few missions past, before turning his attention back to the shop window. Trace couldn't help but smile back- Boulder had that affect on people. Despite his lack of conversational skills (and indeed, speech), his smile was simply touching. As he left the City and descended the stairs towards the lower levels of the Residential Complex he was aware of the other creatures around him. They lumbered, crawled and glided past him in ways that would make any ordinary person wide-eyed with fascination, but as with anyone who'd been at Clandestine for a certain amount of time you learnt not to stare. Occasionally someone new and unusual caught your eye; between you and them a mutual unease at being in such a strange yet familiar situation hung in the air. Fights weren't uncommon, but they were short and almost always initiated by fear. Many appeared human, but the sensing of a deeper power underneath evoked the response. As he approached the lift, he felt something twitch in the pocket of his jeans. Seconds later, a piercing beep shrieked into his ears. Ripping the phone from his pocket, he cleared his throat and grunted into the receiver. "Trace here." "Trace, this is Operator** 616. I know this is part of your designated holiday hours, but we've a large dragon coming in that needs transport to the Cemetary, and you're the only qualified Heavy Loader driver that we can get hold of. Can you get to the Hangar Gates in twenty minutes?" the young female's voice asked, in typical phone manner. "Yeah, no problem. Thanks." He clasped the phone shut and followed the signs to the train station. "Sounds like that mission went well..." he thought. Maybe he should have given up his night off to go with them... *The City is part of the Residential complex- it's like a shopping mall with various traders and manufacturers' outlets, and it's of mostly concrete construction. **Operators work in Operations. They direct phone calls and various other flows of information, contact Field Agents/Researchers/Hackers/etc. If you're needed somewhere, these are the ones you'll speak to.

Welcome to OtakuBoards, Water Please make sure to check for existing threads before starting a new one. It's imperative that you read the 'How to Post in the Anime Lounge' thread before posting anything, as we only allow one thread per specific anime series. You can either check the Official Threads Directory Sticky at the top of the forum or run a search (bearing in mind that search terms of under four letters won't be picked up). Anime Dating Anime Characters: Would You?
Solo Tremaine replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
TASUKI[/size'] from Fushigi Yuugi
Please try and put more thought and detail into your posts in future, Koro-dono. This is spam, as it's so short and undetailed. The first post in this thread asks people to explain why you like a specific character and not only does it bring the post up to non-spam length as per the Rules, it also makes it far more interesting for everyone else to read, heh. -
Having never seen Inu Yasha, I can only rely on the pictures that have been given to me to decide who I think's better. And 'best' covers many different aspects, so I can't see why this can't be based solely on appearance and stuff I've pieced together ^_~ Well, Rei has always been one of my long-standing favourite character designs, and also a character who I'm partial to anyway. It's been a long time since I watched any of Evangelion, but I can remember liking her anyway. Sure, she lacked a certain amount of warmth most of the time, but the quietness was something I could really identify with. Surprisingly, Sango sounds like one of the more interesting characters from Inu Yasha, although that's about all I can say about her at the moment. I think her boomerang's impractically large even though she has a cool-looking demon to support her. And Kirara looks a lot nicer than Eva-00, Rei's accessory. But her hair's not a style that I really like- angles and spikes work best with me, as opposed to straight edges and curves. So, almost purely on that basis Rei gets my vote. Sorry for being so superficial, heh.

As much as I don't want to do this, I'm going to have to close this thread too. Favourite character threads (or ones related to 'best/worst/any adjective you could think of') are always on sticky ground, and they require a decent kick-off in order to get them working properly without poor-quality, spammy replies. I appreciate you actually asking people to say why and describe which anime they're from- that's always a good start. But ideally the posts in these threads need a lot more detail, and there are number of favourite-esque topics alredy open which serve almost exactly the same discursive purpose. To better understand what I mean, this is a good example, and one that's still going. You also have Dating Anime Characters and Most in-depth characters. So as a term, 'best' can mean a lot of things, many of which are covered in threads all over the place, heh. Thread closed.

There's a Rave Master thread located here where you can discuss the series as much as you like. Please try and be more detailed when starting a thread about a specific anime, and try and search the forums before doing so to make sure one isn't already open. In particular it's an idea to include details about the story, your own thoughts on what you like and don't like and things like that to give other fans of the series something to actually discuss and an opportunity for people who haven't seen the series to find out what it's like. Thread closed. If you've any questions, feel free to send a PM.
:catgirl: i watch both. i like hamsters. but i love Brooklyn from beyblade!!!
Please try and add more detail to your posts in future, Kai123- this is spam, really. Be sure to try and elaborate as much as you can, and watch your post quality as well in terms of spelling, grammar and punctuation. Incidentally, I'm closing this thread- I don't think it's worth having a combined thread about both animes, especially one that's so old.

Unfortunately, as entertaining and informative as these threads can be, I'm going to have to close it. I'm not on some kind of fun-crushing mission, but there are a number of reasons why: It's in the wrong forum, for a start. Threads that aren't about anime should be somehwere else- the prefect place for this would be the Otaku Lounge, as that allows any discussion that isn't music, game, anime or art-related- its for general discussions such as this. Threads of this kind of subject often tend to lead to spammy replies anyway- this is speaking from experience. They aren't so much of a discussion as a list of activities, and there's only so much that you can do at a computer anyway, heh. Thread closed.
hold on when did that show come back on the air??
Welcome to OtakuBoards, bracy. Please try to add more detail to your posts in future- this is not really acceptable, hence why it was deleted as spam. I understand you're only asking a question, but if you take time to read over the thread chances are it's already been answered. Just make sure to try and include as much information as you can- whether you ike the show or not, what it is (or is't) that you do like, etc... It makes things far more interesting, heh.

Kai123, the Anime Lounge is for discussing topics about anime. Please make sure that you start threads in the correct forum, and be sure that you use as few abbreviations as possible in your posts. Also, both you and Art Master should take a look at the Rules page as soon as you can to get an idea of the kind of standards we expect at OB. I don't wish to sound unwelcoming- far from it -but there are some things that need to be cleared up, heh. Thread closed. if you've any further questions, feel free to send a PM.

Welcome to OtakuBoards, mitsoukikouyama7. There's a major point I need to point out here, heh. It'd be an idea to look at the Rules before starting another thread. RPGs, even if they're about a specific anime, need to go in the Adventure Arena forum, and there are specific rules in that forum about setting up games such as this. The Anime Lounge is just for discussing anime, not for playing it, as such. Please make sure that threads are started in the correct forum. That said, if you can follow the rules set out in the Adventire Inn and Arena, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to start afresh and/or continue the game there, heh. Thread closed.
-
I don't think this topic has much discursive quality at all, for quite a few reasons. Please don't copy things from other websites unless there's something deeper and more elaborative that can be brought out about it. Thread closed.

In what way are you lacking of Dragon Ball Z stuff? There's a thread in the Anime Lounge here where you can talk about it. Unless you mean the anime archives, in which case that Dragon Ball forum was used for all DB series. It's just easier and more practical to say 'Dragon Ball' as an all-encompassing term rather than denote each specific series in the main title, heh ^_^;
