Well, it wasn't called 'One turn kill', for one thing. I can't actually remember what it was renamed in the dub, but whetever it was it wasn't as good. It seemed pretty full, but as I've not seen the original I've no idea what's been cut out or not. We still see bits of both of them disappearing, but that's more than likely been toned down with the rest of it.
Try and put a little more substance into your posts in future please, Tobiass. That last one's definately spam. Actually, the last few posts seem pretty pointless, to be honest. If you have a question not directly related to the subject, convey it in PMs.

Well, I wasn't sure if the answer was correct- things can get very confusing in quiz threads if someone posts a wrong answer and then asks a question afterwards, when they shouldn't actually do so. Then you can have several questions up at once and arguements start and bleh >_

It was a car (at least, one of them was a car- I don't think there wer any others, but I'm probably wrong). I can't remember the make or model, but it was blue. Later he was tapdancing while playing the accordion with Grandpa and Jasper playing draughts on his head.
Originally posted by Red I live in London, England. The smoggiest piece of smog-land that's ever filled the planet with smog. It's dirty, it's got nasty areas, but I love it so. The only thing I hate is I've never seen a full sky of stars, ever, it's been something I've always wanted to see but light pollution sucks..
Heh, I can't say I envy you much living in London. You should move down here, where it's nice and green and quiet. Although a little too quiet at times. Because the major cities of the country are all up north, nothing happens down here, save for the annual Birdman competition at Bognor Regis. Boy, ain't that worth seeing *dies* But you cans see the stars here. Some friends and I were camping in this country park, looking up at the stars. It's really something. Although, there's still a fair amount of light pollution, I'm guessing it's nowhere near as much as you'd get in London. I live in a small village five miles from Chichester, England. It's a nice place to be, I think. Unless you absolutely need public transport nearby. -
OOC: Whoa, sorry I'm so late. I've been away and got really behind >_
Originally posted by JJRiddler Note: Edit: Darn it! I heard wrong. They said wrong dosage! I got too much. Darn hospital. No I we are not going to press charges for there is really no point. My mom works in the hospital and so my mom dealed with it. They just fired the people that did the shot and has started to update everyone on that floor* *is very embarced about causing all that trouble*
I wouldn't be embarrassed about it- things like that can be very dangerous. If it's negligence that caused it, then really they need to be disciplined about it. Anyway, I'm glad you're doing okay ^_^ See you soon.

One card that would be very useful against him now is going to be released in the Pharonic Guardians set- Lava Golem. He has 3000 ATK, and can only be Special Summoned to your opponent's side of the field by sacrificing two of your opponent's monsters. It does 1000 Direct Damage to its controller during each of their Standby Phases. Couple that with Magic Cylinder, you could be giving 4000 Damage in one turn.

Actually, Moro, Domon is right. The Divine Winged Dragon of Ra's type is 'Divine Beast', not Thunder God. His attack power is not actually unlimited, but made up of the Attack power of the monsters used to sacrifice him. I've never had much interest in getting a God Card, although Ra does look very nice. If I did get him, I'm not sure I'd use him in my Deck, though. I'm still looking for a Jinzo.

I'm sorry to hear that, Josh. Don't worry, I'll look after everything here for you. Take care, and get well soon. I'll still be here if you need me

The Dark Magician Girl is not in a US booster set yet, and may not be for some time. She's in the Japanese Premium Pack... 6, I think. So still only available in Japanese thus far. Many online shops sell them, you could always have a look there. I hope this answers your question for you.

OOC: Eck, sorry I'm late >_< ------------------------------------------ Kier hurriedly rapped the letters on the keyboard, entering in the code that very few knew how to decipher, constantly looking over his shoulder. He could hear voices far behind him. Just a little longer... The last digit appeared on the screen and he punched the 'Enter' key. Suddenly, a white light exploded from the screen and he disappeared. * * * The strange creature waited silently in the cupboard under the desk. It was extremely undignified. Not only was he told to stay here and not look after his partner, his hiding place was far too small. He bent his arm back at a strange angle to scratch his tail, then bent it back in front of him. His knees were almost touching his cheeks. But he couldn't get out. If he did, he could be seen. It was well after closing time, but the school janitor was still hanging around, cleaning and boozing. Suddenly, a high-pitched tone signalled his freedom. A heavy 'thud' sounded from in front of him and he collapsed from out of the cupboard. The boy looked at the digimon. "Sorry I had to keep you like that BladeGabumon. But my parents don't work today. If they were out we wouldn't have to worry about this." The digimon looked down at his partner. He was midly annoyed, having pins and needles running throughout his left leg and ar, but the light in the boy's eyes quickly melted away any harsh feeling's he'd felt. "It's okay, Kier." BladeGabumon rubbed his arm to try and get the circulaion flowing again. "Are you alright? Did they catch you?" Kier shook hsi head. "no, but it was close. If I was any longer they'd have had me." "Then why do you go without me? I could have protected you." BladeGabumon emphasised. He wouldn't know what to do if Kier was hurt. "You'd draw too much attention." The boy smiled up at his digmon. The boy's bright blue eyes shone in the red sunset, and his red hair seemed to glow like the firy light on the horizon. "Besides, I can handle myself." BladeGabumon wasn't so sure, but didn't argue. He was more than happy that Kier had returned. "So where are the others?" he asked, stroking back the royal blue fur on his muscular arms. He stood almost six feet tall, of slim build, but with a powerful muscular physique. Around his neck was a navy blue fur coat, tied around it like a bandanna and flowing to half-way down his back. Kier looked at his watch. "We're to meet them in the Digital World soon to arrange a plan of attack. We have to find the essences before the Dark Digidestined do." BladeGabumon nodded. "Did you find out where the others are?" "I found four- one in Antarctica, one in North America and another in South America. Those are the ones that the Dark Digidestined are after." The digimon nodded and scouted around the corner for the probably-drunk janitor. No-one there. "So when do we meet them?" "Soon."

We don't tend to allow favourites threads on Ob, because they tend to generate spam and pointless discussions. It's not on the rules yet, though, but it should be with the update to Version 7, with any luck. So anyway, I'm going to close the thread.

Please put more thought into your posts, harpiesbrother1. Your comment has no relevance to the thread and is spam. Also, for the tags to work, you need to close them:
will complete the quote and will complete the bold text effect. Thunder Soldier Attribute: Light Type: Warrior/Effect Level 5 1300/2600 Effect: This monster can only be Summoned to the field in face-up Attack Position. You may not change the battle position of this monster in the same turn in which it is Summoned. If this card is destroyed in face-up Defence Position as a result of battle, remove two cards on the field from play.

If you want something that isn't a drug, try taking a few Vitamin B6 supplements every day. I used to have terrible migranes fairly frequently but since I started taking them I've not had one in about a year. They help boost your seratonin levels. The headaches can be caused by a number of things, even changes in temperature sometimes. Be sure to drink lots of water to prevent you from getting dehydrated and don't eat too much sugary stuff.

Anime Worst anime vocal song you've heard?
Originally posted by Half_Shaded Yes the Yu-gi-oh and Pokemon theme songs are incredibly stupid. Those darn Pokemon songs got stuck in my head years ago and are only now leaving. How I despise those songs...
I didn't think they were that bad, personally. I tend to like most of the Pokemon themes. Maybe I just have bad taste, heh. But which Yu-Gi-Oh theme do you mean? I like the orchestral one in the dub, and the Japanese one too. Yeah, they are a bit twee and too teeny-boppy at times, but they still have a certain kind of charm to them. I think they partly have a bad reputation because so many people look down on the show as being kiddy. Which it is, and the songs are too in a way. But I really like 'We're A Miracle' from the First Movie. As for my worst... some of the japanese Digimon ones are questionable, but I guess I could listen to them if I tried. The opening themes for 01 and 02 are okay, but the two closing themes I've heard for 01 aren't so good in my opinion. The voice and orchestration is rather annoying.
Originally posted by yuka-kitsune zoids chaotic cenry
And I love the Zoids Chaotic Century theme, so there :p. -
That's unbelieveable. As if Cannon Soldier wasn't a ruddy great bug gun already... Not long to wait now, heh. I want my Jackal Paladin!

I don't think it's necessarily a deliberate ploy by Konami/UD to single out girls, it just kind of... happens. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to have the other half of the young population going after Yu-Gi-Oh, but it generally happens that girls tend to be more into things like Barbies and other 'fashion' dolls. I would go on a huge rant about gender stereotyping in toys, but it's long and fairly boring. basically, I think people should be allowed to like whatever they want to. It annoys me when people (usually boys) discriminate against girls just because they happen to be part of a minority of whatever fandom they're in. My younger sister has a good Yu-Gi-Oh Dragon deck, and beats me fairly often when I take Buster Blader out. I certainly don't think any les of her because she's a girl. In fact, I'd probably have more respect for girl duelists than some male ones. Although, that'd have to depend on how they play and act rather than just being male or female. That'd be rude. But yeah, the series is fairly male-orientated. Not just in the amount of characters (four girls [T'ea, Mai, Ishizu and Serenity] compared to X boys [Yugi/Yami, Joey, Tristan, Bakura, Marik, Pegsaus, Kaiba, Mokuba, most of the other duelists everywhere]), but also in the animation. It's fairly 'chunky' in its angles, which I interpret as more appealing to male minds. Something like Ah! My Goddess has much more fluid, less angular shapes and it's less stylised in that way.

Technically it's not in her sig any more, but I always liked this when it was in Sara's:
R.E.S.C.U.E. This thread is about rarest cards you have in your Deck harpiesbrother1, not just any interesting ones you happen to get and put in. In terms of actual card rarity, my rarest would probably be Imperial Order (as it's a Secret Rare). In a set of two booster packs I got that and Call of the Haunted, which was rather jammy, heh. That was at the time when our computer was having to be taken back and forth to the shop, next to which was someone who had lots of Yu-Gi-Oh cards for sale, heh. In terms of 'special' rare cards (i.e. ones not necessarily that rare, but rather nice anyway) I also have a 1st Edition Dark Magician, Swords of Revealing Light and Gaia the Fierce Knight, as well as a World Edition Seven Tools of the Bandit. There are also promotional rares, but they aren't as hard to obtain as booster rares
