It appears that some have Time Wizard and some don't. All of the websites I've seen says that it should be in there. I'd contact UpperDeck about it and see what they say. You never know, it could be a fault and you may get a replacement.

Writing To all my Digimon-loving buddies, I bring you "Digimon Avatars"!
Solo Tremaine replied to Sandy's topic in Creative Works
Wow ^_^ That's very good, sage. I love the style of the dialogue- I could see it becoming a new digimon series ;) I think Ari's my favourite character. The concept's good too, and I think the use of Gods and Godesses in it is done well- it adds that much more depth to the storyline. From what I gather of Frontier, this is better than it ^_^ I can't wait to read more. -
Hmm. Maybe it could pop up in the same way the 'You have a new Private Message' message does. That way it'd get seen nicely.
-
Is Torrential Tribute in there under another name? I didn't want to add it in case it was there already. That's like a Dark Hole in Trap form (and looks pretty, too).

OOC: Whoops, sorry about that guys *deletes post* :bluesweat. Just as a note: Ryouka doesn't know that Haku isn't evil. ----------------------------------- Ryouka watched the ongoing battle. Suijinmon had disappeared, flown off elsewhere to wreack havoc on the Digital World's citizens. Fuijinmon had been destroyed, and that left them with Raijinmon, who was roaring ferociously while attacking any digimon he saw. He had to be stopped. Haku had to be stopped. Ryouka wasn't going to let his evil destroy any more lives. He turned back to where the line of surviving troops was crouching in the trees, out of sight of the leviathan Mega. "Mina, can you get your digimon here?" he called over to her. "Wizardmon's trying as hard as he can!" she called back, watching the Spellcaster chanting something under his breath. Ryouka took a deep breath. This truely was the most important battle they'd ever had to face. Losing this would mean the end of the Digital World, and Haku's parasitic Machines would take over. He felt a warm nose nuzzling his hand. It was Chase. "Are you ready for this?" he asked, his voice wavering a little. Chase nodded. "There's no coming back this time..." he whispered. The Guilmon smiled. "I come back." Ryouka stared into her eyes for a minute. Nothing could get her down. Sighing heavily, he stood up. "Okay, Chase. Let's go." A massive beam of orange light erupted from his digivice and burst into the troops in the trees. Fired up with this new energy, the digimon digivolved and started advancing towards Raijinmon. Ryouka leapt onto Chase's back. If they were going to die, he was going to die with them. -------------------- OOC: Chase is a DarkTyrannomon now. As funny as riding on a Guilmon would be, he isn't ^_^;
Originally posted by Takuya OOC: The tablets are a source of information. If they didn't exist, only Haku woiuld know anything.
That's the point- your character seems to know everything just after it's been said, whereas a more realistic approach would have been to have Haku explain it himself. In reality, he would be the only person who knows the secret.
And blame Rokas some, too. I hadn't planed on having anything else translated for a while, but he had Zassomon call Dantu. I had to have Zassomon explain something after that.
It's not Rokas' fault, Takuya. Zassomon didn't have to explain anything. Besides, he only explained things after Nefertimon repaired the tablets, which was your doing. Zassomon could just have been concerned for his master.
Also, I am aware that there are 12 Masters, but you don't seem to be.
That is an extremely rude thing to say.
What you appear to be saying is that I shouldn't have Dantu learn anything about what's going on. Two things: first, Furora and, until recently, Keio, were hearing everything Zassomon said, making a total of four Masters who know stuff about what's going on.
I can't find them knowing about Zassomon anywhere. And besides, if they did, it would have been in your posts, as you've been the only person to dictate his dialogue.
Second, you say I shouldn't have David learn any of that stuff, but if he didn't only Haku would know, which would put your character where you think mine is.
That's the point! Haku created the Trinity Project, not Dantu. Thus, Dantu nor anyone else would know anything about it. And besides, this is sage's RPG, so he should be the one creating plot elements and knowing where it's going to be taken.
One more thing: How is stating what has already been stated "playing God?"
Playing god is having your character do more than seems realistic or possible, and I agree with sage here. Anyway, I think we should leave it at that. If anyone has any more questions/arguements or whetever, please PM the person involved rather than clutter up the threads with these arguementative posts. I understand that it's hypocritical of me to say so when I am replying to this dispute, but after this I think out of respect to sage, who has worked so hard to keep this going, and everyone else in the RPG the posts should be focused on the story and nothing else. I understand that this isn't my forum or thread to moderate, but I am still responsible for settling disputes and enforcing the rules. Back to the topic, please. And I mean it, so if you want to respond to this, PM me.

Ah, I love these snippets. They're wonderfully emotional, powerful and very empathic. It's very raw emotion, and it's great stuff to read. The very beginning bit I like- debating theology is always interesting. The only things I can see are little grammatical things, like commas in the wrong place, but like you said- it's only a rough, and they by no means detract from the story. Very nice ^_^ I want more.

Technically there's Card Destruction too, although that doesn't affect just monsters.
-
Maybe. but it'd make more sense to have the same cards in each one. After all, that's what people pay for, really. I'm getting a Joey deck pretty soon. It's an Unlimited Edition. Maybe they'll have fixed up the Time Wizard errors by then. It's possible that they fluctuate it a bit, but it doesn't make much sense that they'd keep a card out, especially if it's part of a Fusion combination in the deck *shrugs* Some marketing strategies can be downright silly sometimes. If you still want a cheap Time Wizard, Domon, some sites sell the individual cards from the Starter Decks for not that much. Well, certainly Time Wizard is a lot less expensive than its Metal Raiders counterpart. Good luck hunting.

Sabre looked around at the bewildered students standing in the hallway, most of them rubbing bruises from flying chairs or tables. "That was interesting." he muttered to Bebbieroth. "Really?" "No." * * * * * It was lunchtime now. Students milled around the dining hall, trying to find tables alongside someone who's sword or magical powers weren't going to give them a nasty shock or turn their food into a tyre. Food tasted alright here. It wasn't as good as some of the things available on other planets he'd been to, but it was worth eating. It was certainly welcome to get the fetid chewing gum taste out of his mouth. He sat down next to Bebbieroth and started eating a riceball. Slightly nervously, Bebbie coughed to get his attention. Sabre whirled his head round to give him a steely glare. "What?" A large sweatdrop appeared behind Bebbieroth's head. "Eheh, hi. I don't think I caught your name." "Sabre." he grunted, before turning back to his food. Bebbieroth coughed again. "You should drink more water." The lupine creature grumbled, shoving another piece of food into his mouth. "No, I'm coughing in order to get your attention." Bebbie protested. "Well, you're annoying me." Bebbieroth fell silent. The silence continued for a few minutes as they both ate their food, before he spoke up again. "How did you lose your eye?" Sabre whirled round and grabbed his jacket collar. "Here's a tip for you- don't run with scissors!" He sat beck down and gulped down his drink of water, and then began sending evil glares to everyone in the room.

Kyriss saw the gun being drawn and watched the man advance. This wasn't fair. Not only was it an unsanctioned duel, but now he was going to kill him. As the man stepped forwards, Ryan kept a tight grip on his Duel Disk system. Kyriss sprinted down the dec towards the man's turned back. Ryan watched the man turn to the sound of the heavy footsteps on the wooden deck and was slammed stright into by Kyriss. The gun slid through the railings and skidded across the floor. The man yelled something obscene as the two of them crashed onto the floor, Ryan dodging out of the way. The man flexed his muscles and threw Kyriss from him, landing him heavily on the deck. Groggily, he looked besides him. The gun was next to his head. Ryan kicked out at the bulky man as he advanced closer, his heavy arms reaching out for his deck. Suddenly, a clicking noise stopped him. "Leave him alone." Kyriss' voice was shaking. He'd never pointed a gun at anyone before in his life. He had to make it look real. "You wouldn't fire that at me. You're just a kid." the man sneered, stepping towards Kyriss. "Don't tempt me!" he yelled, brandishing the gun at him. While the man edged towards the armed boy, Ryan made his move.

Ah, Pegasus Starter. I was just about to ask where the Red Eyes went to ^_^; The cards in there look good. Graceful Charity and Black Pendant are two monster cards I need, as well as Dream Clown for my Bickuribox (sp?).
-
Kyriss looked around frantically for another duellist. Everywhere he looked people had ten or more, and didn't want to risk losing four more. He was in trouble if he didn't find any. Sprinting around the outside deck, he could see it was getting dark. At eight the eliminations would start. He hoped he could find someone in time. He heard a faint voice over the noise of the wind and engines of the boat from a higher deck. Interested, he went to investigate. As he reached the top deck, he saw the boy who he'd saved from being hit over the head with a plank of wood- Ryan. He was duelling an enormously muscular man dressed in black, who wore an angry expression on his face. Kyriss decided to watch from behind as the two of them got started.

:bluesweat I've been pretty blank recently. Sorry about that. I should be back up to working standard soon. But if you have an idea Ben, then I don't want to spoil it ^_^

The only one I can find is this one here: http://www.webone.com.au/~bread/Emma_p01.htm It's not the entire universe as such, but it's quite nice picture of the Red and Blue Pokemon World (is it Kanto? The new cities are part of the Johto bit, aren't they?). I hope it helps ;)

Please don't play mod, Psyco. I wish they'd have things like that in the UK. I'd love to have a chance to be able to duel other people and such. It sounds like good fun. Unfortunately the only thing we got in terms of roadshows was the Pokemon one, which went to all of seven cities, none of which were near me -__- Ah well. Here's hoping to a UK Yu-Gi-Oh roadshow sometime soon.

OOC: Wow, sage! The characters look amazing ^____^ Greatness! ------------------------------------------ Ryouka felt a slight sense of fear when he gazed up at the cloud. "Where did Puppetmon go?" he called, running over to Mina. "He just disappeared. I think he's gone to find the Dark Master Puppetmon's house." Wizardmon floated down with an anxious look on his face. Ryouka shook his head. "We'll have to leave him to his own devices. He can catch up with us if needs be." "You're saying we should leave him in that place?" Wizardmon criticized. He could easily follow Puppetmon to try and help him, but was wary of doing anything that may put Mina in danger. "What would you suggest we do?" Ryouka shrugged, sounding a little irritated. "We don't know where he's gone. And besides, he left us first. If we don't move out of the range of that cloud then we'll all be in greater danger than Puppetmon's put himself into." Mina stared into the sky. Something metallic glinted in the air. "We don't even know what that cloud is." Ryouka whistled towards the group of resting digimon. A large Pteramon swooped down and elegantly landed next to him. "We should be able to get a good view of it from the air."

Pot of Greed. He placed it on the field and drew two more cards from his deck- Soul Exchange and Ryu-Kishin Powered. "Time to finish this." he gloated, watching Rebecca's stunned expression. "I play Ryu-Kishin Powered in attack mode and-" "Not so fast!" As soon as Ry-Kishin Powered appeared on the field, he disappeared. Rebecca held up her trap card smugly. Trap Hole. "Damn!" Kyriss hissed as he placed Yami in the discard pile. "My turn." she drew one card and threw it straight onto the Graveyard. "Blue Eyes, attack his Life Points directly!" The Dragon's powerful attack blinded Kyriss as he watched his Life Points return to 2700. It was his turn now. He threw one card from the top of his deck onto the field- Rogue Doll (1600/1000). "You won't get away that easily this time! I play Soul Exchange to use the soul of your Blue Eyes White Dragon along with my Rogue Doll to summon Buster Blader in attack mode! He gains 500 attack points for every Dragon-type monster on your side of the field and in your Graveyard, raising his attack power to 3100." Rebecca growled in frustration. "But that's not all. I use Lightning Blade to power up his attack points by 800, rasing him up to 3900. There's nothing you can do now, Rebecca." She watched in annoyance as her Life Points fell to zero, the first 500 having been wiped out by Neo the Magic Swordsman in the first turn. Kyriss walked over to her and held out his hand. "Good duel, Rebecca." She gave him a weak smile and shook his hand. "Here are your Locator Cards, Kyriss." She took three from her pocket and handed them to him. He smiled, thanked her, and then walked away to find another duellist. He still needed four more...

OOC: I have three locator cards, and I'm duelling for three more. I'll edit this when I get back home after Psychology >_<

Kyriss drew another card from his deck. Buster Blader. A smile swept across his face. He was currently down to 2700 Life Points, but he'd hardly even touched Rebecca's. In the first turn she played a Magic Card and a Lesser Dragon, which he'd promptly destroyed with Neo the Magic Swordsman. Unfortunately for him, her Magic Card (Last Will) allowed her to bring out another card in Defence Mode. Attacking it again with Neo, he'd lost 1300 LP- it was the Millennium Shield. Having equipped it with the Ring of Magnetism, he couldn't touch it. When she sacrificed that and the Lady of Faith to bring out her Blue Eyes White Dragon he was almost sunk. Luckily, he'd had the Swords of Revealing Light handy. "I'm still going to win. Blue Eyes are unbeatable!" she said proudly, brandishing her teddy at him. "You wish." On the field was his Celtic Guardian. In his hand, he held Buster Blader, Lightning Blade, Yami, De-Spell and Card Destruction, nothing of immediate use. Clenching his fist in frustration, he looked at her. "I pass this turn." "Ah, well." she said, her voice dripping in fake disappointment. "Only one more turn left until I beat you, then." She drew one card, and placed it face down on the field with a grin. "I don't know what card you're hoping to find, but it won't work." She placed another card on the field- Mountain. "I'm raising the attack power of my Blue Eyes. My turn's over." Kyriss drew another card- a Trap. It wasn't what he needed, but it may help him anyway. He placed it face down on the field and switched his Celtic Guardian to Defence Mode. "Your move." Rebecca giggled loudly while she drew another card. It was the Axe of Despair. She placed it triumphantly on the field and Kyriss watched in horror as the Blue Eye's attack power rose to 4200. Rebecca gave him an evil look as the effect of the Swords wore off, freeing her massively powerful dragon. "Looks like this duel's finished already." One last card. He only needed one. Closing his eyes, he drew it from his deck. The Dark Magician. He couldn't place him down- he had no tributes. "I pass." he said weakly. Rebecca started giggling again. "I'm not surprised. There is nothing you can do, after all." she drew another card, ignored it and pointed at the Celtic Guardian. "Blue Eyes, attack him!" The White Lightning attack, powered by the Axe of Despair and Mountain, illuminated the entire room as the Celtic Guardian was vaporised. Kyriss stood smiling at her. "What's so funny?" she pouted. Kyriss pointed at the field. "The Enchanted Javelin raises my Life Points by the attacking monster's Attack Points, meaning I'm now all the way up to 6900 Life Points!" Rebecca's jaw dropped. "That's not fair!" She gave her teddy an intense look. "But never mind, we'll still be able to destroy him." Kyriss drew another card from his deck...

OOC: The thing is Takuya, even though you may not see yourself as going too fast, you have to think what effect your added part of the storyline will have on everyone else's. Posting a huge story-changing event is going to leave people wondering what to do next. In effect, you will have taken over. Is it really that big a deal just to edit your post? Changing a few letters isn't going to effect things a huge deal. And anyway, this is sage's RPG, so his word should be final. I believe Keio's still with Dantu, Ginny ^_^ --------------------------------------------- Ryouka looked at Chase thoughfully. It was unbelieveable how much she'd changed him. He looked at his reflection in the water, inspecting his scar. Regrets weren't always a bad thing. At least he knew not to make the same mistake again. A distant rumble, almost like thunder, made everyone freeze. Ryouka looked over to Wizardmon, who shot up into the air to investigate.

Don't post messages like that, Lan21013- they are spam. This is supposed to discuss the tour. Seeing as you went, what did they have on show there? What did you get to do?

Kyriss grabbed the first duellist he saw. He was holding six locator cards.'Damn, I'm behind.' he thought. He only had three. He should have duelled Keith for his, but it didn't matter now. The girl looked at him. "What? You wanna duel?" Kyriss nodded. "Yeah. You ready?" The girl shrugged. "I could use another locator card." she looked at the three of his tied around his neck. "You have three! Shall we wager that many each?" Kyriss didn't care. He just wanted to get it over and done with. He didn't want to be eliminated before the first night. "Sure." Adjusting his deck sightly, he put his side-deck back into his pocket and clicked his main deck into place. The girl did the same. She looked much younger than him, with long blonde hair. "What's your name, by the way?" he asked, curious. "Rebecca Hawkins." she said curtly, before her seemingly innocent expression turned to one of severe determination. "And you must be Finished!"
-
Kyriss wiped his forehead. It had been a long duel, with neither of them gaining much headway. Bandit Keith, having lost his hard edge that once made him a fearsome opponent, was down to 1500 Life Points. Kyriss was on 2050. On his side of the field were a Dark Magician and Invitation to a Dark Sleep; and on Bandit Keith's was a Barrel Dragon, currently not able to attack anything. Kyriss drew from his deck. It was the Sword of Dark Destruction. "Your luck's run out, Keith. I power up my Dark Magician with the Sword of Dark Destruction, raising his attack power to 2900. And I attack your weak Barrel Dragon." "No!" Keith could only watch as the Dark Magician's attack vaporised his machine, and left him completely open to another attack. His Life Points shot down to 1200. "Now to end this. Invitation to a Dark Sleep- attack!" Keith's obscenities could be heard from the other end of the ship. Onlookers applauded the match's winner, who stood over Keith smugly. "Watch where you walk next time." Kyriss spat. He hated dishonourable duellists; especially Keith, whom he'd know for five years. He walked off, content with his humiliating victory. As he rounded a corner, he noticed something. A man holding a large piece of wood. "Strange." he murmured. Intrigued, he followed him. The man arrived at a corridor where a boy was standing, holding a stack of locator cards. Kyriss watched as the man with the wood seemed to try and move past, but suddenly raised the wood into the air, ready to strike. "Watch out!" Kyriss yelled, lunging for the man. The boy turned round just in time as the wood whistled past his shoulder. Kyriss slammed an elbow into the man's back and he fell to the floor. Kyriss grabbed his shoulder to swing him onto his front, but the man kicked out with his foot, catching him in the stomach. The boy ran after him a short way but wasn't fast enough to catch him. He came back to Kyriss, who was on his knees, gasping. "I'm fine." he choked.
-
Kyriss looked around at the many duellists on the cruise liner. He'd never seen so many in one place before. He watched in amazement as Seto Kaiba walked past, leading someone into another room. As Kyriss rounded a corner, something slammed into him. He fell backwards onto the floor and a tall, muscular man stood in front of him, his blonde hair tied back with a bandanna of the American flag. "Watch where you're going, dweeb!" he sneered, brandishing a duel disc system on his arm. Kyriss picked himself up and gave the man a cold stare. "If you weren't so fat people wouldn't have to watch where you were going for you." The man's jaw dropped. Even though he was wearing sunglasses, Kyriss could see the rage building up inside him. "I think you need to be taught a lesson." he growled, slotting his deck into his duel disc. "No tributes- I'll cream you for good in the real tournament later. I'll show you what happens to people who insult Bandit Keith!" "Do they all get off this lightly?" Kyriss sneered, slamming his deck into the disc. The Life Points meter bleeped up to 4000. "Let's duel, punk!"
