Evolution Bear in mind I don't know how to spell some of these words. Harry: *upon seeing hundreds of dead dragon-like creatures on a rocky slope* Great Google-moogle! That had me in stitches for ages. *when they're chasing the dragon in the store* Wayne: Kaw! Kaw! Ka-ka ka-ka! Kakakaka! Tooky-tooky! Harry: Wayne, I think we've established that 'ka-ka ka-ka' and 'tooky-tooky' don't work. Wayne: Right...

OOC: I don't mind, Na'dou ^_^ Is coolies ---------------------------------- BladeGabumon stepped back slightly as the cat digimon moved into a defensive position. He watched her carefully before straightening himself. He stood about a foot taller than her, and looked threatening. Even though he still retained one or two of Gabumon's dopey attributes, his face was much more elongated, and his ears looked more like those of a Renamon's. His body was also sleeker and his legs longer. He wasn't like any digimon she'd seen before. And unique digimon needed caution... "Who are you?" she hissed. "Have you been spying on me?" BladeGabumon cocked his head, watching her carefully. "In a way. I followed you from the clearing." BlackGatomon shied back slightly, tensing her claws in case she had to make a quick getaway. "What do you want from me?" He cast her a look of strong determination. "I want to know what's going on, and why I was able to digivolve to Lupedramon."

An assault deck would be one where you have lots of high-attack power monsters so you can just blast your opponent away. A more balanced deck would have good attack and defence. Yugi's is more balanced than Kaiba's, for examble. Kaiba relies mainly on attack power, while with Yugi's you can have a more varied focus, either on attack or defence.

BladeGabumon peered his head round from the bush he was hiding behind, watching BlackGatomon run off into the woods. Swiftly, he followed behind her, doing his best to not make a sound. The black cat digimon was very nimble- he was having a hard time keeping up with her as she bounded effortlessly through the undergrowth. As he was taller, the lower branches of the trees smacked into his head, giving him a few slight bruises. As he shielded his eyes from a particularly large branch, he emerged ner a rocky slope, which rose gradually into a small mountainside. He couldn't see BlackGatomon at all. Where was she? He began sniffing the air to see if he could catch her scent.
Originally posted by BigCajones Other wild guesse- Digimon the movie and series, but surely Digimon, Pokemon, Dragonball Z, Yu-Gi-OH,etc were a series before they were a product of Nintendo? I also read something about Eternal Darkness and films.
*twitches* I wish Digimon were owned by Nintendo. At least Digimon World 4's coming out on GC... Now all we need is a Rumble Arena -__- Anyway, Yu-Gi-Oh and DBZ aren't Ninty-owned, and that was more what I was meaning, as opposed to just video games which have appeared on Nintendo consoles being turned into movies/mangas/comics whatever. For a bonus, if anyone's interested, you could try naming a few comics, too.

That's okay, Shiek ;) Anyway, I think this boils down to the plot point that's painfully obvious to the audience but almost completely forgotten about or not noticed by principle characters until it suits the plot to do so. You're right Nexus, T'ea did notice a long time ago, but she never seemed to notice or say anything about it until ages and ages later. Which is odd. You'd think a sudden transformation like that would be a bit of a discussion point. Unless she wanted to keep it secret. But Yami was popping up all over the place in DK and she never said a thing...
Metroid's being made into a movie, I think. And there's one more. Well, one more that I can think of that hasn't been mentioned. If there are more I'll be embarrassed. And Metroid took place on Zebes.

Was it the Dark Magician Girl? Sometime in the series I've heard that
Tea/Anzu has a dream about being the DMG for whatever reason
Was that in the manga too? She looks too much like a manga character than the regular Monsters.

Seadra and Dragon Scale become Kingdra, Zapdos is in the Power Plant. They're the only two bits of that question I know. Stab in the dark- Hoppip's supposed to be very light, isn't it?

Neither crazy nor stupid, I'd guess- it's up to you how you build your deck. If your theme calls for another card like that then there's no reason why you shouldn't put it in, although high-level ones like that would need monsters to be able to tribute for them. That is, unless you play by Duellist Kingdom rules, in which case you don't need to worry about tributing. I think I'd be inclined to agree about the not having more than one of any card except field magic cards but, as has been mentioned already, sometimes having two of the same card can be vital for a combination or strategy, e.g. trying to summon the Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon or the Twin Headed Thunder Dragon. Those combos and cards would be irrelevant then.

BladeGabumon sprinted through the forest. Something was wrong. Very wrong. Suddenly, he came to a clearing where there looked to have been signs of a struggle and saw the same BlackGatomon he'd seen earlier. Was she the cause of the trouble? "Show yourself NeoDevimon, you coward!" she yelled. So it wasn't her. But where had the others gone? A sinister laugh echoed through the trees. "You have no power over me, foolish little digimon! You won't stand a chance against our power." he sneered. BladeGabumon's ears twitched. The sound seemed to be coming from an area to the left, but he wasn't sure. It was distorted fairly heavily. He crouched down in the bushes, ready to bring a surprise attack when the demon digimon decided to show himself...

Donkey Kong Jr. and Koopa were in Super Mario Kart, and they were replaced with Donkey Kong and Wario respectively, I believe. The Princess also had her name changed to Peach, but that wasn't a replacement really. How many Nintendo games have been made into films or television series so far, and what are they?

Hey, Nexus. Good to see you. Enjoy your stay ;) I agree with your point about making it more interesting and honourable. For example, I wouldn't have two SORL anyway, because it just seems wrong, in my opinion. After all, you could stop them from doing anything for six whole turns while you built up a massive combo attack which wipes them out in one move, which I personally find rather dishonourable. It's like having someone held by the arms while you get ready for a big punch. At least with one SORL you get to hold them back for just a little bit, and I think that's fair enough. After all, the course of a duel can be changed by the draw of one card. And anyway, what I find most exciting about a game is getting out of tight spots. Although it must be a shame if you'd already worked up a combo around something that's now limited to one. I can't really see why Witch of the Black Forest was reduced to one... well... I can, actually. Summoned Skull has a Defence of less than 1500, for example. He could be brought round easily enough. And I don't think shuffling your deck more than so many times in one Duel is very helpful anyway. No hard feelings, Nexus. It was good fun. And there's always the chance to win it back.

Lupedramon looked at his reflection in a pool of water at the back of his cave. He certainly liked the results of the digivolution, even if the wings were a little awkward to use at first. He'd grown very tired very quickly when he'd firt tried flying, and coulnd't steered himself very well. He'd always assumed it would come naturally once he digivolved. Maybe he wasn't strong enough yet. After all, he still hadn't eaten. He looked over to the pot where the flower was sitting nicely in the boiling water. "Should be ready." he mumbled. As he walked over to the pot, he suddenly felt himself shrinking. He put a claw to the wall to steady himself. When he looked down, he ws back to BladeGabumon again. A little disappointed, he sat down at the pot and began to drink. Thoughts of the other digimon flowed through his mind. Were they alright? Did they want him to be there? Finishing off the broth, he licked his lips and stared down the side of the mountain at the forest below. It spread for a very long way. Suddenly, a loud boom echoed round the mountainside. It shook the ground and he had to steady himself. He quickly scanned the treetops for signs of battle, and, seeing nothing, slid down the steep slope to find out what was going on...

They're quite confusing to read. Just a little punctuation would make things a lot easier for everyone. Just to clear this up for anyone who's confused, this is Gaia tha Dragon Champion as opposed to Gaia the Fierce Knight that we're talking about. I was confused for a while. Your friend should keep the Guaia- that could be very valuable. Misprints often are.

Lupedramon turned back to Yasyamon, his metal sword glinting in the light. Those two were still bugging him. "Those digimon..." he muttered deeply to himself. "Who are they? Why are they interested in me?" Suddenly, he heard a shout from the log. "Look out!" Zuliarmon yelled. He whirled round to see Yasyamon, flinging one of his sticks at him. Lupedramon riased his sword and sliced the flying piece of wood in two. He looked back to Zuliarmon with an annoyed but thankful expression. Yasyamon straightened himself. "That was one cheap trick you pulled on me back there, with that Labramon taking me from behind. You won't get away with it again." he hissed. Suddenly, he launched himself at Lupedramon, remaining stick outstrected, several of his Mushroommon appraeing from the trees around him. He pulled the sword from the scabbard and held it in front of him defensively. Yasyamon's sticks hit the metal blade and snapped- he crashed to the ground. Several of the Mushroommon jumped on Lupedramon and pulled him to his knees. He managed to punch a few of them off, but it was enough to give Yasyamon a distraction to pull himself up. He slammed the broken end of his stick into Lupedramon's face several times, before stepping away. The Mushroommon stepped back too, looking at the dazed winged wolf digimon. Zuliarmon and Kolibrymon jumped up to help, but an icy glance form Lupedramon sat them back down again. He looked as if he were about to collapse. On his left arm, he noticed something metallic. A crossbow. A sly grin spread across his face as Yasyamon was about to punch him again. Kolibrymon pulled the stick form his grip with his beak whil Lupedramon leapt into the air, his crossbow pointing forwards. "Light Spear!" he yelled. A bolt of white light thundered form the crossbow and through Yasyamon's stomach. he dissappeared and the data floated into Lupedramon's chest. A few of the Mushroommon had began picking on Zuliarmon, but left immediately. Lupedramon shook himself roughly and landed back on the ground, glaring at the two of them. "Thanks." he said gruffly, looking at the two of them. Zuliarmon smiled. "No problem!" she said cheerfully. Kolibrymon smiled, too. Lupedramon looked at them warily. Something about them made him want to stay, but... he had his own things to do. "Now... I should go." he said quietly, turning to leave. He was sure they wouldn't want him around. Besides, he worked better on his own. He'd just shown that. But they did help him... He shook his head and picked up his bruised flower, which was now beginning to wilt, and disappeared into the trees.

BladeGabumon put out one or two burning leaves next to him and watched the three digimon talk in the clearing. They seemed to be getting along okay. It had been an interesting fight, if nothing else. Giving them a half-resentfullook through the trees, he turned around and walked back to his flower, still waiting for him when he returned. He picked it up and sighed, thinking about the digimon back there. He could have joined in and helped if he'd wanted to. At least then he'd be noticed. Never mind. It was his fault he didn't get seen anyway. Slowly, he started making his way back towards his mountain cave. Suddenly, a harsh voice stopped him. "Going somewhere, Nancy-mon?" Quiet sniggering echoed the digimon's voice. BladeGabumon whirled round to face a bulky Yasyamon, with several nasty-looking Mushroommon behind him, grinning at him mockingly. He gripped the flower tightly. "What do you want, Yasyamon?" he growled. Yasyamon snrred at him. "Nothing... just checking up on you..." he gave a disgusted look at the pink flower in BladeGabumon's arms. "...I gather that's for your boyfriend?" Howls of laughter erupted from the Mushroommon as BladeGabumon started shaking with rage. "BLADE STRIKE!" he yelled, launching himself at Yasyamon. The tall digimon deflected him nimbly with his kendo-esque sticks, deflecting him to the floor. BladeGabumon was tall for a rookie, but Yasyamon was still too strong for him. "You're an idiot, BladeGabumon." Yasyamon mocked. "You'd never be able to stand against me. You're pathetic." "At least I don't need a band of subordinates to do my own dirty work." BladeGabumon retorted, wiping his mouth. Yasyamon rumbled forwards and whirled the stick through the air, aiming it right at BladeGabumon's head. The wolf digimon caught it in his hands and pulled the ninja over, knocking his head against the wall. Several of the Mushroommon charaged forwards. BladeGabumon roleld out of the way, tripping up one of them. He turned to face them, growling with anger. Yasyamon stood up again. "Impressive display, wolf. But you still won't be able to withstand all of us. You've never had anyone to back you up, have you? Mushroommon, go!" BladeGabumon watched them charge towards him. It was true, he had never had anyone to help him. But that didn't matter. He was strong enough on his own, and now he was going to prove it. A strange feeling started flowing through him. The white on his stomach started to glow brightly, as did his claws. The Mushroommon stopped in confusion as BladeGabumon began to grow. "BladeGabumon, digivolve to... Lupedramon!"

OOC: This is happening at the same time as Na'dou's post *points up* ----------------------------------------- BladeGabumon watched the fierce battle between the Devidramons and the two other digimon with great interest. They had such power. He'd never seen anything like it. When the black cat digimon's attack collided with the dragon's he was blown back, and nearly lost his coat. "This could be dangerous." he said quietly, straightening himself. He watched further, admiring the two digimon's ability to help one another. Suddenly, the first Devidramon was destroyed and the cat absorbed its data. "What was that?" he spluttered. She killed it... just like that. He watched her cautiously as she turned to help the bird digimon. "Be careful he's stronger!" the bird shouted. Devidramon's claw tore through the air and slammed into the two of them, sending them crashing to the ground. Devidramon sneered as they lay dazed on the ground. "My turn!" he growled. Just as Devidramon is ready to attack, Swishmon started to glow. BladeGabumon shielded his eyes from the light. He'd never seen a digivolution before. It was an awesome sight. He hid back behind the tree as the bird digimon took on its new form.

General Pepper wrung his hands nervously. "Report!" he barked at a communiactions officer sitting at a computer terminal across the room. "Skirmishes have taken place on Macbeth and Titania, while our forces have engaged some unidentified fighters just outside Sector Y. The attacks on Katina and the bases on Meteo have been suppressed and we believe the forces are retreating slightly along the Second Transport Route, towards Venom." the young husky called back, hammering at the keyboard in front of him. Pepper shook his head. They'd appeared so quickly. "How many losses?" "Only thirteen military fatalities so far, General. Civilian casualties are unknown as yet, although it is estimated that a surprise attack on this scale could have killed up to 6000 altogether." Pepper held his head in his hands. memories of Andross' war flashed through his mind. "Six... thousand." "That's only a maximum approximation, sir. It could be less." Pepper slammed his fist on the arm of his chair. "It's still too many!" he yelled. "Why didn't our scanners detect them?" "We still don't know, sir. It's possible their stealth technology is too advanced for us to be able to detect." Pepper scowled at the monitor screen on the far wall. It showed Cornaria and the area of space surrounding it, including the inner layers of the Meteo asteroid belt. One of the batallions was on its way. He hoped they'd make it there safely. Once the fleet had regrouped here, he could assign those in the Arena to a military team and then organise a battle plan. The new threat had to be eliminated quickly before too many more lives were lost. Suddenly, the door flew open. Falco stood in the doorway, several guards running up behind them. Pepper, a little rattled, gestured for them to stop. "Ah, Falco. Good to see you. We're just about to head off to the Arena to debrief the rest of StarFox and then make our announcment." "What announcement?" Falco was puzzled, and still annoyed that he didn't know what was going on. "All around you, officers are surveying battles around the system. A new threat has arrived. I'll explain the rest on the way." Pepper explained, leading him out of the room. Down the corridor, they entered into a set of double-doors. A large, rusty lift carried them down to a dank station where a grimy shuttle transport waited to take them to the Arena. The two of them entered the small unit and it sped off down the track... --------------------------- A group of officers flanked the gates to the arena, each of them clutching a special issue pulse gun. Security here was tight. Sabre wondered what the emergency was. Pilots from all over the system were filing thorugh, having their weapon ammo confiscated and then ushered inside the massive Arena. Mercenaries, transporters, ex-officers, more than Sabre had ever seen at once. Hundreds of Cornarian Army jets were parked on the ground with their pilots sitting inside them, ready to make an emergency take-off, presumably. Sabre quietly crouched behind a large piece of concrete dislodged by an explosion and considered his plan of action...

It was noisier in the forest today than usual. BlackGabumon's ears pricked up more than usual at odd sounds coming from somewhere through the trees. Tentatively, he sniffed the air. Battles were raging. he could smell the burning attacks in the breeze. Snorting, he pulled the large flower from the ground and held it up in front of him. It was very beautiful- massive pink, white and yellow petals flowed over his claws. He admired it for a few seconds, but he needed to eat it more than he did to look at it. Its petals made a nice soup, and he hadn't eaten in a while. His stomach hurt through lack of food. Suddenly, a deafening roar from nearby made him jump. Setting the flower down, he went off to take a look.

Is it okay for me to join in too? Digimon Name: BladeGabumon Level: Rookie Description: BladeGabumon is, as the name suggests, a different species of Gabumon. Instead of a horn on his head, it is a longer blade of metal. His fur coat is a royal blue and white, and the scales on his stomach are light blue. Attacks: Blade Strike, Light Beam Evolutions: Lupedramon Note: would be wearing torn black shorts :bluesweat. He wears leg armour, gauntlets, chest armour and a helmet. His sword is larger, and he has a steel bow, too. Attacks: Aurora Blade, Light Jevelin MagnaGarurumon, the same as in Frontier, although his smaller gun has been replaced with a large blade. Attacks: Magna Blade (see a theme here?), Solaris Burst Personality: BladeGabumon is, at heart, rather lonely, but often appears to have a cold exterior because he believes that no-one likes him. He enjoys practicing his fighting techniques and lives in a cave on the side of a mountain.

Solo smiled stupidly as he watched Hyper and Kitty exchange vows. It was a great thing to watch. Straightening himself, he continued watching, metaphorically crossing his fingers and feeling a great swell of pride for the two of them.
