Anime If you could have/make any Millenium Item, what would it be?
Solo Tremaine replied to MaceDavis's topic in Otaku Central
In case you're wondering where the 'I finally know the true power of the Mell. puzzle' thread is, it's in here. It took me a while to decide, but various Millennium Items can be discussed here. Check carefully when you start new topics to make sure they don't already fit into existing thread. It can be hard sometimes, but I don't want the forum getting too cluttered. -
That's true. Go here if you want your deck rated: Rate My Deck!. Please check for existing threads before creating another.

Apologies for the double-post, but I need to announce that the sign-ups for this RPG will be closing next Saturday evening/Sunday morning, and that's also when it starts. Sorry I can't start it earlier, but I have a lot of schoolwork to be catching up with because I've been away for a week. I appreciate all of you signing up. Heh, this is my first working RPG Don't forget, please ^_^
-
Don't post it, though. Unofficial downloads are against OB rules. If you want more detailed information, Seph, check out TheOtaku's Yu-Gi-Oh section. It's fairly heavy reading, but all very useful.

Can we get back on topic, now please? This is supposed to be about Battle City rules. I was very close to closing it, and I'm tempted to close a few others as well. Please stay on topic, keep discussions intelligent and relevant. And I wouldn't change schools because of rules. They may seem silly, but they're there for a reason. There's a lot of bullying goes on over cards. You should be lucky you can even bring them in.

Anime They dared to insult the good name of Yu-Gi-Oh!
Solo Tremaine replied to Bandit Joeykuba's topic in Otaku Central
The point is, most of these people don't actually know what they're talking about. Parents will always find it difficult to identify with their children's tastes, but they aren't actually trying to insult anyone. The people who are trying should be the ones you're venting your agressions at. It is frustrating to have something you enjoy 'degraded' as it were, but your parents I'm sure wouldn't mean to unless they actually disapprove of it. And that's usually a fairly unfounded cause anyway. When shops do it, that's just bad management/advertising. You'll have to deal with persecution wherever you are. I shouldn't lecture, but hitting people isn't exactly the best way of getting rid of people who annoy you. -
Cool! We'll be ready to start soon. I'll give it a few more days to see if anyone else wants to sign up. But if after it starts, people want to join in, then I've no objections there. Here's a picture of my character Sabre. He's not been coloured or shaded. And yes, I know he's a trace and redesign of that Fox picture from SFA. But here he is anyway ^_^

I'm not sure who my favourite X-Man is. I used to really like Gambit, but I got fed up of never seeing him with any decent screentime (either that or I just managed to miss those episodes). In the series I didn't like Wolverine that much. I thought his costume was a bit silly. So I gues my favorutie was Beast. He was intelligent, blue, and even when he was upside down never seemed to falter. He was a nice contrast to people/mutants you'd normally consider 'beasts' (like Sabertooth or Beast's new Evolution make-over), but I guess that's what marvel was trying to do. In the film, I thought Hugh Jackman played a very good Wolverine. He seemed more human than in the series, which appealed to me. If I could be any of them, I'd have to be Gambit, just for his clothes and staff. He has nice hair, too.

"Wait!" Kotemon shouted. "Take me with you. I need to find Teth. I need to protect him." David agreed and picked him up, before thundering in the direction of Infinity Mountain. Aidan watched David fly off. "Well, I guess that leaves you and me finsing the crystals, Menaka. Do you know where we'll find them?" Mena pointed down to Labramon, sitting in her arms, who was sniffing the air. "Labramon knows where they are. But we need to find Fenix first, to make sure he's safe." MetalArmadillomon scratched his head. "I suppose when we look for the crystals we'll find him, too, assuming he still has one with him." Apsaramon agreed. "Why not let Labramon guide us to where the crystals are one by one, then we'll come across Fenix eventually." "Sounds good." Labramon chirruped. They hurried off in the direction of the third crystal, eager to stop Daleth from carrying out his plan... * * * Deep underground, a dark figure stood in front of a computer screen. A monstrous cavern stretched up into the darkness above him, a faint trace of light shining from above and illuminating a huge metal object behind him. He was almost there. He wouldn't let anything stand in his way now. Clenching his fist and slamming it down on a keyboard in front of him, he watched a green monitor in front of him. On it was a map of the Digimon Continent and six red spots, all moving in various directions. Also on the screen were three white spots- the remaining power crystals. They'd discovered them too early. He kicked the computer in disgust. If only he'd had more time. But it didn't matter. Pulling a shining white object from his pocket, he held it in front of him gleefully. "They'll never get the last one in time. And once they come looking for it, they'll bring the others right to me..." he hissed into the darkness. Behind him, something large growled in appreciation and lolloped into the darkness.

Whee! I finally managed to figure out who I wanted to be. Unfortunately I have no picture, as I've not time to draw him, but here he is anyway. Name: Sabre Keslain Age: 27 Race: Half-breed- wolf/blue fox Description: A fairly tall humanoid wolf with dark grey/blue fur. Has sight in both eyes, unlike Wolf, but wears a telescopic eye-patch (a la Irvine from Zoids) over his left eye. Wears a black/dark red/silver flight jacket with a piece of armour on the right shoulder, black trousers, heavy black/silver boots and wears fingerless gloves. Also has a yellow flight scarf. Bio: New leader of the StarWolf team and former good friend of Wolf O'Donnell. He was found on Fortuna at the age of eight with no previous memory of where he was from, and was sent to work in a diamond mine. When the Army freed the prisoners some years later, he enlisted in the Academy and graduated. He was due to anlist in the Army, but ran into a young Wolf O'Donnell, and together began a life of crime. During a raid, Sabre was arrested and sent to a prison facility on Titania. After about a year of travelling, he managed to get back to StarWolf's headquaters on MacBeth, only to find out that Wolf was dead. Sneaky, underhanded and treacherous, he will gladly do anything to get his own way, providing it pays well. Faction: StarWolf Origin: Unknown, but was found on Fortuna. Alliegence: Good (is against Kareck) Craft type: Modified Wolfen craft fighter- has small wing-mounted laser beams along with a small nova bomb hold. Has good defense, but lacks high speeds. Hand weapons: Hand-held plasma rifle, which doubles up as a joystick for his craft, and a 39" battle sword kept on his back. Ooh! This should be good if we get enough people. We don't need people to fill every faction, you can be who you like. If necessarry, we can all be various important characters and Kareck. ^_^ EDIT: Changed character's name, added more bio details, stuff.

Who are you in your own mind? In my own mind, I often see myself as an onlooker to ther situations, someone who generally doesn't get involved with that much, either because I'm shy or haven't anything to say. That's not to say I think I'm aloof, because I'm not. I just border on the moderately social line. I also don't think it's good to try and get involved with anything that you've not asked to be involved with unless it's actually open or you think you have something important and valid to say. So I'd say I'm quite objective in that perspective. Generally, I see myself as being kind and generous towards others, but I also, for some reason, see myself as a bore at times. Maybe because I don't do very much or I can't comment much on what other people say, but I see myself annoying people far more often than I actually do. I am paranoid about hurting other people's feelings. As an emotional overview, I would see myself as being positive and outgoing, but occasionally and briefly lapsing into anger and depression. How do others see you (or at least, how do you think), and why? I think that others see me as being kind and not pushy. My friends see me as being rather weird because of my opinions sometimes, and they think it doesn't matter because I don't answer back when they say something about it. This is a minor thing, though (and it's understandable- everyone needs to poke fun at people from time to time, as do people need to have fun poked at). Most of the time the see me as amicable and approachable, reliable and trustworthy. I am trusted by those around me, which can make things more shocking when they see my angry side. I don't think there's a vast amount of difference in what I see of myself and what my friends see. I'm always very open. It's just a matter of interpretation How would you rather people saw you I don't mind too much. I'd rather they saw the good side of me, but I don't want them to just see that. I hate being told I'm perfect, because I'm not. I want them to make their own mind about me from seeing both sides of me. And then, the rest is their opiion, and I will respect that whatever they think. Unless it's nasty and/or unfounded.

Stomach Flu: Hell in Your Own House
Solo Tremaine replied to Yu Yu Hakusho!'s topic in General Discussion
Yeah, I've been pretty ill recently too. My dad came back last Friday night with a terrible stomach ache, so he said. I didn't think too much of it until I heard horrible noises coming from the loo. Then I knew he was really sick, and I hoped that the rest of my family wouldn't too. Anyways, everything looked okay until Mondya morning, when I woke up at 5am with a rather bloated feeling. After spending an agpnising 50 minutes sitting on the toilet floor I threw up. The worst thing about it was the build-up. I just wanted to get it over with. Another fifty minutes later it happened again, with the same horrible build-up. This happened six times until I finally fell asleep and woke up to watch Outlaw Star at half eight. Then I fell asleep again. On Tuesday I woke up with my neck aching like anything. I knew it had been from lying down all day and night, but I could hardly move. I was feeling a little better, though, and was able to move around a bit, but still couldn't eat. Wednesday wasn't much better, and I'm still ill today. That sick feeling came back, too, after I ate a slice of bread >_< I know how you feel, YYH. It's not very nice. It's had me stuck in the house almost all week, and I'm going to have to miss fencing and gym, too. At least it means I don't have to go to school, but I'd rather go than face this illness again. -

NOTE: Information given here is subject to change, because I'm silly and indecisive. So this may be under a different name if/when it starts. Also, if anyone has any suggestions/comments as to make it less confusing/better then you're welcome to say. ---------------------------------------------- The Lylat System is under a new threat. Strange readings detected on the system's sun, Solar, indicates that it is growing, and this will endanger the lives of every life in the system. On top of this, reports have shown that strange ships have begun arriving in the far reaches of the galaxy. They appear to be similar to an ancient race which once lived in the Lylat System- large, dragon-like creatures known as the Kareck. Their intentions are unknown. It is thought that some have already reached Venom and could be using Andross' old weapons manufacturing plants to create new weapons of mass destruction. The Head of the Cornarian Army, General Pepper, has enlisted the help of as many mercenary groups to work alongside the Army as possible to help solve this serious crisis. The activity on Solar must be investigated and stopped immediately. FACTIONS: You can be part of: The Starfox Team, Starwolf Team, the Kareck Alliance, The Cornarian Army or an indepandant mercenary, or a native from Dinosaur Planet. The Starfox team, as have been seen in all SF games so far, have a large starship known as the Great Fox and pilot Arwings (Either Type I or Type II) or LandMaster Tanks (see below). Starfox includes Fox McCloud, Peppy Hare, Slippy Toad, ROB, Krystal, and Falco Lombardi (I know he 'left' in Dinosaur Planet, but if anyone knows where to and what happens to him I'd much appreciate knowing). Although mercenaries, these pilots have true hearts and fight for justice (providing they get paid enough). Their mission is to investigate the activity on Venom. ARWING TYPE I These are fitted with one or two laser cannon turrets and has some storage for bombs. These are fast and easily maneouvrable. Can withstand temperatures of up to 10,100 degrees. ARWING TYPE II Very similar to the Type I, these have stronger armour but are slightly slower. They also have a cargo hatch for transporting things (such as Prince Tricky). Can withstand temperatures of up to 10,500 degrees. LANDMASTER Fires plasma discs from its large turret and also has large Nova Bonb storage. Can't fly, obviously, and is rather slow, but very tough and can hover for brief periods using boosters underneath its hull. Would melt in anything over 9000 degrees. The Starwolf Team, formed by Wolf O'Donnell some years ago, pilot Wolfen craft spaceships (see below). This team is a feared mercenary group who were Fox's rivals several years ago during the Lylat Wars. Working only for money, these pilots are far from trustworthy. Their mission is to work alongside the Starfox team and investigate Venom. Although some may say their hidden agenda would be to try and eliminate the Starfox team altogether... WOLFEN CRAFT (The one behind the Arwing) These are fitted with a high-power plasma cannon and two small minigun turrets underneath the cockpit. These are very fast and can easily match the Arwing for speed, but are not as versatile for movement. Can withstand temps of 10,000 degrees. The Cornarian Army is the stardard defence system of the Lylat System. In recent years criticism of using mercenaries has started to break the moral fabric of the Army, and their mass-produced spaceships leave much to be desired for low-ranking pilots. Officers are able to upgrade as they want, as they get higher pay. Their mission is to act as ambassadors to the Kareck and to ascertain what it is they want, also to prepare the system against an attack. The Kareck are a mysterious race of dragon-like creatures which inhabited Solar many years ago. Is it not known what happened to them, but now they're back, and it is suspected that their return is what's causing the sun to grow. If it turns supernova the citizens of Lylat will be destroyed. The Kareck usually only use ships for travelling through space and fight outside of their ships themselves. Their mission is to return to their home planet of Solar and return the Lylat System to its rightful race. The Kareck are extremely capable flyers and have adapted the use of several magical powers which they use in combat in the air and on the ground. They spew out huge torrents of fire which are able to melt metal within a few seconds. Independents are the few bounty hunters and mercenaries who work alone and scavenge ships from wherever they can find, and work for anyone. Their mission is whatever they choose it to be, or to follow who ever's paying them the most. Dinosaur Planet natives can be on either side, and have unique magical powers to help guide them to the right path. They can side with anyone. These are the Lylat Wars locales/planets: Corneria: Main planet of the Lylat System, much like Earth. Very green. Meteo: Asteroid belt which surrounds Cornaria Fortuna: Ice planet Sector X: one of three nebulas Titania: Desert planet Bolse: Derelict satellite system orbiting Venom Venom: Planet on which Andross' forces were based. Covered in toxic gases. Katina: Secondary planet of Lylat system, again like earth, very urban. Solar: The Lylat System's sun Macbeth: Industrial capital of Lylat Sector Y: Another nebula Aquas: Water planet Zoness: Another water planet, heavily polluted Sector Z: The final nebula Area 6: Venom's defense system TO SIGN UP (assuming you've made it this far): Name: (Could be anything you want, within reason) Age: (I'm not sure how old the main Starfox characters are, I'm guessing around their mid-twenties except Peppy, who's 50-something, and Slippy, who must be about 9) Race: (If you're a Kareck, you have to be a Kareck, but otherwise it's any species under the sun, really) Description: (Pretty standard) Biography: (Also pretty standard) Faction: (either Starfox, Starwolf, Cornarian Army, Kareck, Dinosaur Planet native or independant) Origin:(where you're from) Alliegence: (Good or bad, although if you're Kareck or SW, bad is better, and good is better for SF/ the army. Independents/natives could be either) Craft type: (Almost anything you want if you're an independent or an officer. The rest have to stick with what they've got. Not sure about natives. I presume they'd have to make do with dinosaurs. If you want modifications on your ship, put em down here, too) Hand weapons: (For ground missions, you need two hand weapons, e.g. a gun and a beam sword of some kind, or a staff and a sword, but bear in mind pilots wouldn't be able to carry anything bigger than a staff in their spaceship) Magical powers: (This only applies to the Kareck, Krystal and Dinosaur Planet natives. Nothing too powerful, please) I've nothing against anyone wanting to be any of the characters already in one of the games (e.g. Fox, Falco, Peppy, Slippy, General Pepper, Krystal, Tricky, Bil Grey, Katt Monroe, General Scales), although bear in mind that the original StarWolf team are dead. Or, they should be. If you have a good reason for them not being dead, then that's fine. Um... you can also be more than one character if you want, but no more than two, please. It gets confusing otherwise. And the same person can't be Fox and Krystal. It'd be rude. There's no limit to however many people want to sign up. And I think we need quite a few. Five at the very least. Romances are good and interesting to have, providing the other person doesn't mind hitching up with you, and as long as it seems plausible (I don't think Katt/Falco as seen in SF64 would really work that well). Enjoy! I hope I've not confused you too much. Sign up if you wish. I'll post my entry a little later when I've figured out who I want to be >_< It'll be an original character, so don't hold back if you want to be Fox or someone.
-
He also has cameo appearances in Rugrats and Animaniacs, just for the record. I think he has an amazing voice. It works very well with such an evil character (heh, can't beat the English-sounding guys for villains ^_^) Hexadecimal was a good baddie, too (when she was), but the contrast between the two was amazing, but neither was more effective as an evil character than the other. Hex had her manic, disjointed personality and awesome powers, Megabyte had a sinister malevolence shrouded with an air of sophistication, and liked creating massive machines with his intelligence. Wonderful characters. I really want to see the two movies. Um... I've heard that in My Two Bobs (the second TV Movie, that
Someone (a close friend of the Mainframe gang) gets killed while trying to find him/herself.
Is this true? Who is it? I is worried.

I'm stuck on a bit of background info for my character >_< Nothing too serious, it's just trying to work out how to get what I want/ed to happen in there without it sounding silly or illogical. I've certainly no objections to starting now (hee, you really like your RPGs, Raiha ^_^), although having two overseer positions still open may create a bit of a hole. -
The BC rules are more or less the same ones put down by UpperDeck in the Rule Book, i.e. tributing to summon high-level monsters etc. This makes it a lot harder to summon more powerful monsters that may otherwise clinch the match for you.

"Mena!" a voice shouted through the trees. "Is that you?" Apsaramon and Mena turned round to see a large shape moving through thr trees towards them, followed by a smaller shape running alongside it. RazeGallantmon couldn't see that easily in the dark. It was inhibiting. Holding out his staff in front of him, he sent a surge of energy through it, lighting a brief way ahead. Narrowly missing a tree, they moved towards where the noise was. Mena and Apsaramon ran towards the glowing light, Mena holding Labramon close to her body. "Aidan, we're over here!" she called. RazeGallantmon stopped in front of her with a relieved look on his face. "I'm glad we've found you... who's that?" RazeGallantmon asked curiously. Labramon nestled into Mena's arms, autiously afraid of the large digimon stood in front of them. RazeGallantmon de-digivolved, leaving Aidan sitting on the floor and MetalArmadillomon stuck on his back. Flipping him right-side-up, Aidan smiled at Mena. Mena smiled back. "This is Labramon, Aidan. I'll explain later, but Daleth wants the Power Crystals. He's trying to-" "-Create a weapon that will leave humans without hope of redemption. We know. We have one of them with us," Aidan continued, taking a crystl from his pocket. "And with Fenix having another one, there are still four more somewhere," MetalArmadillomon said gravely. "We have to find them all before Daleth does." Suddenly, Apsaramon noticed Kotemon standing slightly behind Aidan. "Wh...Where's Teth?" she asked. Aidan looked at the ground, a slight look of shame on his face. "We lost him. I don't know where he is." Kotemon looked worried. "Do you think he's okay?" "I hope so." Aidan sighed. "Where's Fenix?" "I guess it's our turn to lose someone. We split up a while ago." Mena said, looking slightly ambarrassed. Aidan nodded. "Never mind. At least we found each other." MetalArmadillomon and Apsarsmon gave him a strange look. "I mean..." his cheeks started to glow red. "I know what you meant." Mena laughed. "Let's go."

I like the new colours for the thread/forum display pages, as well as the new buttons and tags. Although the buttons at the side of the main page are a little hard to distinguish at a glance. It was easier having two distinct colours for the new posts, no new posts icons. Apart from that, I like it lots ^_^ EDIT: Actually, they aren't too bad. I wasn't paying much attention when I looked at them. They are harder to notice than the older ones, though.

I think when we have all the positions filled we can start properly. I must admit, I personally can't wait until we do. Should be very good ^_^ -
OOC: *Use the 'Edit' button, Luke. I mean, Takuya... ;) heh, only joking. It is a good idea to try and use it rather than double-posting, though. Whoo! This is my 800th post! Sorry I've been out for a while. Illness. ---------------------------------- Aidan gripped his sword tightly. He could feel the power crystal glowing in his pocket, but it didn't comfort him much. All around him was a pitch-black mist. He could hardly see his own feet. Walking carefully forwards, he heard a voice. "Stay away.." It was strangely distant. "MetalArmadillomon?" He called. The voice didn't answer. Quickening his pace, Aidan moved in the voice's direction. Suddenly, he came to his partner standing against the edge of a cliff, Daleth moving slowly towards him. "MetalArmadillomon!" he yelled. Lunging forwards, he stepped in the way of Daleth's sword, knocking it aside with his. MetalArmadillomon looked at him with awe. "You... you're here too?" "I've come to save you." Slowly, the dark mist began to die away. The Daleth stood in front of them with a strange, pained grimace on his face. Aidan stood forwards and brandished his sword at him. MetalArmadillomon stood forwards too and raised his spines. "You don't frighten me any more." he growled. Now Aidan was here, he felt he could do anything. "Get out of my mind!" he yelled, lauching himself forwards. He slammed straight into the Daleth, who dissolved into hundreds of bits of data. All around them, the mist began to dissolve into a familiar purple haze, the same Aidan could see around him when he was biomerged. MetalArmadillomon slowly disappeared... * * * Kotemon kept watch outside. He could hear loud voices off in the trees. A groan from behind him made him jump. RazeGallantmon stood up and shook his head. "Are you two both okay?" he asked with concern. RazeGallantmon nodded. "yeah, we're fine now." Aidan and MetalArmadillomon's voices said in unison. "There's something outside, a few hundred metres away." Kotemon whispered. They peered out to take a look.

(TV14-S) What would you do/say/think if...?
Solo Tremaine replied to GinnyLyn's topic in General Discussion
Ginny, I'm really sorry to hear all you've been through. I can't imagine what it must be like to have to live with that pain. The thing to remember, even if you can't tell anyone about it, is that it's all over, and he can't do anything more to hurt you or your family. It's unfortunate that you're not able to tell anyone about it, though- they may not even want to know for years, with a state of denial over them. It will come as a shock to them whenever they hear it, either now or later. I think you should try and tell someone, though. They can't deny it forever. The nightmares should pass eventually. I would recommend seeing a therapist (you may do already) if they persist, because they do know how to help make these things easier to deal with. I wish that there was more that I could say to help. You're very brave to have put up with all this. Good luck, and I hope things pick up for you soon. -
