OOC: Am I doing okay? I feel bad writing in what other people say. Is it right to do that? Let me know if I'm going wrong. I get paranoid. -------------------------------------------------- Aidan shouted obscenities at the log he'd just tripped over. "Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse." he growled, hauling himself up. A noise distracted him. It sounded like laughter. Curious, he wandered over to a light he could see through the trees. It was a fire. Frankie and Rraikmon were sitting by it, exchanging jokes. "What are you doing out here?" Aidan asked, making them jump. "Aidan? We thought you'd left." Frankie said, pulling the blankets further round her. "No. I just needed some time alone to think. So, where are the others?" he asked, sitting carefully down on a log. Frankie sighed. "Some team we make. No-one's talking to each other. And we're going to split up again. I'm not sure we can do this." Rraikmon shuffled closer to her to comfort her a bit. "Where are we going to go?" Aidan asked. "Some of us to AncientArugorumon's temple, some of us to the Burning Peak. What about you? Are you going to come with us, even without MetalArmadillomon?" "Yes, I am. Sorry I left. I'm not sure it's such a good idea to split up. If half of us get captured, then if the other half tries to rescue them, there's less chance it'll work. But... we'll cover more ground. It's a shame we'll be split apart. I guess it's our only choice to get out of here." Frankie nodded. "Is it alright if I crash just the other side of this log?" Aidan asked, preparing himself to lie down. "Don't you want a blanket?" Rraikmon offered. Aidan shook his head. "No, I'm okay, thanks." "Tough." Rraikmon said, throwing the blanket over his head. Aidan laughed. "Okay, then. Thanks." From the darkness, a metal digimon watched on, his spines glinting in the firelight. He turned around and walked away, still apprehansive about returning, not knowing that he himself was being watched...

Subtlty's often best when using colour. You don't want something that looks like it came from a playschool or anything. Um... for example, the three buttons at the top of the header- you wouldn't want that colour for more than those three buttons. Having it everywhere else would look far too garish. But you do need some colour variation. At least it wasn't all black.

Hmm. Anyone for Bakura? Even when not in Yami form? If I had to follow around one of the guys form Yu-Gi-Oh it'd be him. Or maybe Joey. Anyway, we should be getting back to the topic. I don't think Pegasus is out for good. He was defeated way too early in the series to not stage a comeback. It wouldn't make sense to have someone who's such an important character in the first 20 episodes or so and then just cut him out COMPLETELY. It's silly. I hope we see him again. If nothing else, in flashbacks and such. So he really wasn't totally evil, then, if he was motivated by love. But, he was prepared to trap three souls in limbo forever to get Cecelia back. I like him, but as to whether he's good or bad... the jury's still out on that one.

Wow. I spent ages looking for the option this morning but couldn't find it. It blended in so well with the other control options that I completely missed it. To tell you the truth, I'm not that struck on it. I prefer the v6 look. It seems a bit drab to me. I think the posts are harder to read with the industrial skin and I prefer the bigger font. But, I do quite like the layout of the forums and the main page. Um... I could get used to it. I still prefer the v6 look, but if I had to be stuck with this I wouldn't mind. And 'Registered' on the User information is spelt wrong.

I can honestly say I don't see anything different. I can see the new design of header at the top and that's it. It's quite nice. Other than that everything's the same for me. My PM thing's at the bottom, where it's always been and I can't see any dotted lines or gaps or anything. Is that wrong?

OOC: I hadn't decided where Aidan was. He's not gone too far, wherever he is. I'm just jumping back a few seconds to before Rokas was forced out. --------------------------------------------------- "I wouldn't trust him." Chris[2] said loudly, stroking his digimon. "Yeah. We don't even know what his real name is. I bet it isn't Bent Metal." Kimberly agreed. "It's probably just a nickname." Josh suggested, shuffling around in the chair. Frankie thought for a moment. "So... if we went to find him, it could end up bieng a trap. On the other hand, if it isn't, we could end up in big trouble not having him with us." Raekomon scratched her head. "AncientArugorumon's not an evil digimon. He's very old and intelligent. I doubt he'd be in on anything bad." "I've never seen a Thyasamon before," Kitamon thought out loud. Just as they started to discuss the issue further, they heard the door open. Everyone jumped in horror as Rokas jumped out of the door into the trees below... ***** ------------------------ OOC: this is after Rokas' post now. ------------------------ Aidan stared out over the edge of the cliff, watching the trees far below sway in the wind. Huge mountains were in the distance, partly hidden by ominous clouds and fog. Maybe there was a mistake. Maybe he wasn't supposed to have a digimon. Maybe this wasn't his adventure. He stared sadly at his digivice. How could he do that? Why did he kill them? He didn't know what to think any more. Should he try and find his digimon, or would it be better just to give up? Placing his digivice back into his pocket, he started making his way back to the cabin to make his decision. ***** MetalArmadillomon curled up on a stone, cold. He hated himself for what he did. He wondered what the others thought of him now. Would he be able to go back? What about Aidan? He curled further into himself, trying to shut out the world around him. Are you lost? The steel digimon jumped. "Who said that?" Such a shame you've left them behind... The voice was strange, almost a mixture of several voices. It was low and soothing. "Who are you?" I am everything you see around you. The trees, the sky, the ground. I know you. MetalArmadillomon raised his spines. "Just leave me alone!" he yelled. I know why you want to be alone. You seek forgiveness when you know you do not deserve it. You seek peace of mind. MetalArmadillomon froze. "What do you want?" It is not a question of what I want. It is a question of what I need. A digivice. If you would retrieve one for me, I can make your suffering cease. "No. I've hurt enough people. I won't do it. Now leave me alone." MetalArmadillomon growled. Wouldn't you like to be able to sleep again? You're afraid of all the voices you hear- "I said leave me alone!" the digimon screamed, holding his claws over his ears. The voice paused, as if seething with anger. Suit yourself, digimon. MetalArmadillomon opened an eye. No-one there. He looked around. "I'd better go back." he said quietly. He didn't care what Aidan, Silleniimon or anyone else thought of him. He was going back to protect his partner.

But, it would be a contributing factor to it, and also to the fact that underage pregnancies are too common. In the news recently there was a story about a girl of twelve being pregnant. Twelve! It's disgusting. They're not physically or emotionally ready to handle it. This seems off-topic, but it links in to what I have to say next. I see all these adverts for toys for children aged about 8-11, and I see them splashing on make-up and trying to look fashionable. Society's stereotypes are being pushed on them at a younger age and it's not right. Really, you shouldn't even be thinking about having sex until you're at least sixteen. There's a reason for a minimum age limit. I don't think wearing bras when you're a bit younger is so bad, but not padded lingerie. I could go on about absolutely everything I feel about this, but I won't, as it's long and it'd end up being irrelevant anyway.

Kairi: It's cool- I know it's in the RPG.:) I was waiting for you to initiate the story bit. Here goes. I hope it's okay (and sorry if it feels like we're chewing everyone else out- we aren't really! This is something we planned for and wanted to include somewhere) ----------------------------------------------- Rylonamon grabbed Frankie and leapt up to the cabin door, shoving him inside. One by one, she began carrying others up. As Silleniimon watched, she felt something creeping up behind her. Looking round, she saw MetalArmadillomon. She jumped back slightly. "Wait... Silleniimon. I..." "You stay there. I don't want to hear it." She said, her voice tinted with fear and sadness. "No, you don't understand-" he began, but she stepped back. "I understand perfectly." she hissed. "You want to finish me off! That's why you're here!" her raised voice was starting to worry the others. Kairi stood watching, deep concern in her eyes. Aidan watched, his insides constricting with anxiety. What did she mean? "No! I don't want that. I want... I'm sorry." "Sorry?" Silleniimon yelled. "Sorry? You ruined my life! Destroyed my home, killed my family, and all you can say is 'Sorry'?" MetalArmadillomon's voice wavered. "I know it's not much, but what else can I say? I didn't mean to-" "Don't make me laugh! Your whole species is evil! You knew exactly what you were doing when you levelled the Primary Nursery!" Everyone froze. Tears were gathering in Silleniimon's eyes. Kairi and Aidan looked on in shock. "Do you think I didn't suffer for that?" MetalArmadillomon croaked. "Every night I heard them screaming at me in my dreams. My nightmares. I haven't slept since that day." "Then how do you think I feel? Having to watch them be deleted by your cruel hands!" She struck the digimon with her claw, sending him flying across the clearing. Aidan was still frozen with shock. MetalArmadillomon pulled himself up and coughed. Kairi laid a comforting hand on Silleniimon's hand. She wiped her eyes and stepped forwards. "I can never forgive you," she growled. "Murderer." The word shot through MetalArmadillomon like a bullet. It wasn't an accusation. It was the truth, and he knew it. Aidan slowly walked over to him. "Tell me it's not true." he whispered. MetalArmadillomon couldn't look at him. "I can't. I'm sorry Aidan. You deserve better." he started slinking off. Desperately, Aidan wanted to stop him, but he didn't move. Slowly, MetalArmadillomon disappeared into the forest. Silently, everyone else stepped into the cabin, leaving Aidan outside. Rokas looked at his guitar and sighed. "I guess a sing-a-long's out of the question." he murmured. * * * * * After quite a long, tense silence, Veronica turned to Kimberly. "Where do you think this Burning Peak is?" Kimberly shrugged. Rokas scratched his head while gabumon quietly tried plucking a few strings on the guitar. "Maybe it's a mountain." "Or a pyramid." Kaci suggested. "Whatever it is, there's obviously something important about it." Josh was sitting in a very large armchair, feeling a little like he was five years old again. John thought for a moment. "Why don't we go and see what's around there? At least then we'll have some clue as to what's going on and what to do."

OOC: Well, I've no personal objections. The only thing I'm a little concerned about is our large number. Providing (if we do split up again) we remember which groups we're in then I can't see it being too massive a problem. BTW, is Asuramon a he or a she? -------------------------------------------- MetalArmadillomon shrank back slightly. Aidan looked sternly at Silleniimon, who seemed to be ignoring him. His digimon's head lowered and he turned away. "Are you okay?" Aidan asked, watching Silleniimon walk round the group slowly, not taking her eyes off MetalArmadillomon. Some of the others were looking uneasy. Rokas gave him a concerned look. "Kairi," Aidan called, walking over to her. Silleniimon held her defensively. "We..." Silleniimon's eyes narrowed. "...need to talk." Kairi tried to loosen her digimon's grip. "Sure. Uh..." Aidan sighed. "It can wait." Asuramon stirred slightly. "I hope..." he muttered under his breath, walking back over to Frankie and Rylonamon. Kimberly, Veronica and Chris[2] were all staring down at Asuramon, contemplating throwing wet leaves on top of her. "I think we're about ready for an explanation now." Aidan sighed, looking back at MetalArmadillomon. Frankie nodded to Rylonamon, who readied herself to reverse her attack. "Tiger's Eye!" she said loudly, her eyes glowing a dark-red. Asuramon's eyes flashed open, glowing the same colour. Groaning, s/he looked up, dazed and confused. Everything seemed to be swirling. Groggily, s/he tried to stand up, but couldn't co-ordinate her limbs properly. "Asuramon?" Ginny called down, trying to gain her attention. "Why did you attack us?" Josh asked, Shymon gripping his trouser leg. Everyone gathered around the hole to hear her answer...

Meh. I like 'Time Warp'. That's always good for a laugh. John Williams does amazing scores. Which reminds me: Chamber of Secrets out now! Must buy... Must buy... *Turns into 'Solo, Soundtrack Hunter' and begins looking for it with a spear* Also, Die Another Day is by David Arnold (and... urgh... Madonna). Have to get that, too.

Ah. I'd be very scared if he did complain. Anyways, here's the first part of Chapter Three- Dark Designs. It might need a little more work. Also, I edited Chapter Two, Part II. I changed the Matt scene- he's now looking over a lake with a fountain and boats in it. Thanks again to Pyro for all her continuing support. Much appreciated! ------------------------------------------------- Chapter 3: Dark Designs Deep in the blacked-out command centre at Midway, something was roaming the corridors. An experiment broken free, hungry for escape. Hungry for life. She jumped gracefully out of a drainage pipe and into a dark corridor. Growling, she ducked down as two two-legged creatures went past, beams of light emanating from their foreheads. Tempted to follow them out of sheer curiosity, she raced along the corridor, silent as a breeze? Elsewhere in the base, a human in stealth gear crept down the pitch-black corridors, searching for clues. Maybe it wasn?t so bad they were stranded here after all. He could find the information he?d been searching for. His heavy protective suit weighed him down considerably. Even though he felt safe, he also felt extremely hot and tired. ?How do these guys get used to this?? he said irritably, looking for a place to remove his helmet. Finding a suitably deserted room, he pulled it off and took a long, deep breath. He shook his head, his dark-blonde hair in rat-tails. Sighing, he studied his surroundings. Hundreds of books lined the walls. He whistled in awe, the shrill sound echoing around the dark, musty room. On one wall where a lot of the books had fallen down, he could see the top of a metal door. Cautious, he climbed over the mountain of books, most of which ripped under his weight. He kicked the obscuring books onto the floor and studied the door lock. It was a swipe-card activated door. But, if the power was out? He pulled a large rifle from his back and aimed it at the lock. Bracing himself, he squeezed the trigger. The deafening shot slammed into his ears like a brick, sending him reeling back. The door flew open and crashed against the inner wall. He flicked his shoulder-lamp on and peered inside. The lamp illuminated a small room which seemed to be covered in blueprints and diagrams. He crawled inside, almost tripping over a copy of ?Much Ado about Nothing?. The various bits of parchment had been shoved hurriedly into small shelves, each labelled with their subject. He surveyed them for a while, before coming to one which made him freeze. ?Angel of Death?, it read in ominous black print. Afraid of what he might find, Matt pulled out a piece of parchment and knelt down on the floor. Hiroshi Danaki paced angrily around the room. The group of elite commanders in front of him stood to attention, anxiously awaiting his orders. Danaki had been known to go completely berserk at times, and had seriously injured soldiers who had failed to do their job. They did their best to keep their eyes forwards, ignoring him passing right in front of then, but occasionally he?d glare up at them, making them jump. His deep red eyes had a penetration that made it feel like he was looking inside your very soul. He wore a crimson cloak, which flowed behind him like an eerie crimson shadow. His heavy boots hit the floor loudly, sending echoes around the room with each step. A jet-black army uniform with dark grey epaulettes was worn proudly on his body, and metal gauntlets gave him an unnerving sense of strength. Dark brown hair, neatly combed backwards, gave him the air of refinement, but his cold, hateful expression instantly mirrored his heart of ice. He rubbed his hands hard in frustration. All that hard work? he wasn?t going to let her escape. The world?s future depended on it. His world?s future. He stopped abruptly, glancing over at his sword, left resting against the wall. It had a long, thick, curved blade with a serrated lower edge. The back of the blade was wave-shaped and glinted menacingly in the soldiers? torch light. He licked his lips. ?Search the lower levels and shoot anything you see. Don?t kill her. If you see the intruders, apprehend them. Anything else, destroy.? He whirled round and pointed at the two soldiers nearest to him. They froze in worry. ?You two,? he hissed fiercely, ?will follow me down to the armoury. Is that understood?? The soldiers saluted in unison and shouted confidently, ?For the glory of the human race!?. Immediately, they ran off to perform their tasks. Danaki picked up his sword and whirled it effortlessly in the air, plunging it into a scabbard on his belt. Aidan rubbed his back painfully. Having two fairly heavy digimon thrown at you from behind was no joke. He sighed and gazed down at MetalArmadillomon, who looked very apologetic. ?Where did you say the armoury was?? Aidan groaned. MetalArmadillomon glanced over to the door behind them and clicked his tongue. ?It?s on sub-floor eleven. There?s no power, so the only way down is through the maintenance hatches and walkways.? ?They?re pretty extensive, I?m guessing,? Aidan replied, rubbing his nose. MetalArmadillomon nodded. ?Some of them lead outside. It?s best just to go straight down. They?re quite small, though. I don?t know if you?d fit.? ?I?m going to have to.? Aidan said apprehensively, wishing he didn?t have wings. Gabumon appeared from behind a cupboard door, a large torch strapped to his head. ?Hey, guys! I?ve found torches. We?ll be able to see alright now.? Aidan smiled. ?Good. Thanks, Gabumon. They?ll be useful. But we don?t want to use them in corridors in case we get spotted by patrolling humans.? MetalArmadillomon shook his head. ?Most of them would be on the surface now, or be near the generators trying to fix the circuits.? ?Why would they be on the surface?? Gabumon asked, beating Aidan to it. ?Er? the military prioritises the destruction of any captive digimon that might escape during a power-down. There are some pretty nasty things down there, so the less-experienced soldiers need to be able to get out of the way of the elite lot. They stay down and try and get the power online, while searching for the digimon.? ?So how did you escape last time?? Aidan asked, spinning his sword on the palm of his hand. MetalArmadillomon shrugged. ?It was pretty simple, really.? He paused, feeling embarrassed. ?But I don?t like to brag about it.? Aidan took a torch. ?It?d be useful in case we can get out the same way.? The steel digimon sighed deeply. ?Okay? I climbed into a pipe.? ?That it?? Aidan asked, staring at him blankly. MetalArmadillomon frowned. ?No. As you know, humans can?t drink saltwater. There are volcanic springs several hundred miles away and they have a huge transport system set up to get it here without the Sentients knowing. They created huge under-sea rivers for it. Trouble is, for the water to get here, the rivers have to run downhill,? he paused for a second, Aidan half-listening. ?So? they have large turbines pressurising a huge chamber full of it at this end. It shoots up the pipes and into the lake above. I climbed into the pressurised tube, causing a lot of flood damage to the base.? ?Right.? Aidan licked his lips. ?Thanks. That?ll be our escape rout, then.? He disappeared into the access door, wrapping his wings around him. Gabumon, mildly proud of his makeshift headlight, followed him, and MetalArmadillomon closed the door after them, sealing them inside the labyrinth of narrow tunnels? Matt studied the scroll carefully, trying to take in what was being presented to him. On the old, stained brown paper was a complicated diagram of what happened. Everything, laid out on a simple sheet of paper. It seemed inconceivable. He stroked a finger along an untidy scrawl of a name in a paragraph of writing. Takeru. He grabbed another scroll and laid it out. Too much writing to read in one go. He folded them both up and grabbed an ancient water-tight bag from the corner, shoving them inside. Madly, he grabbed anything that sounded important and crammed it into the bag. Half of the room?s contents had cascaded onto the floor with his frantic snatching. A bright blue one caught his eye. The only new piece of paper. Rolling it up tightly, he screwed it into the small space left in the bag and zipped it up. He chuckled slightly as he slung the bag onto his shoulder. He?d found it. For seventeen years, he?d have given his life for this information. Now, he was holding it. And he wasn?t going to let go. He picked up his helmet and pulled it hard onto his head, a feeling of hope that he hadn?t felt in years slowly lifting his soul. He kicked open the library door and sprinted towards the lift shaft. The creature glared suspiciously at three beams of light travelling down an adjoining tunnel. She strained her eyes to look closer at them, but a light shone in her direction, causing her to recoil in shock. Hissing in frustration, she crawled further down the shaft. Aidan stopped, causing MetalArmadillomon to step onto his head. They?d been travelling downwards for what seemed like hours. He nudged him upwards and back onto the ladder. ?Why?d you stop, Aidan?? MetalArmadillomon asked nervously. Aidan pointed the torch further into the tunnel. He couldn?t see anything. ?I thought I saw something,? he said quietly. MetalArmadillomon nodded anxiously. ?Yeah? the security systems would be down, so?? Aidan could feel him shaking. ?Hey, you okay?? he asked softly. MetalArmadillomon gripped the rungs of the ladder for dear life, frozen with fear. ?I want to get out of here!? he cried. ?I hate it in here!? He was shaking, terrified, and wouldn?t move. He could sense the stench of death in the air. Something in the darkness was trying to get him. ?They?re coming for me??Aidan clenched his fist around the ladder, hoping they weren?t attracting any hungry eyes. He handed the torch down to Gabumon, who scanned the shaft for signs of movement. Aidan laid a hand on MetalArmadillomon?s back and rubbed it gently. ?It?s okay. We?re going to get out of here. It?s just a few more floors, then we?ll be out in the open. Okay?? MetalArmadillomon drew himself closer to the wall. ?I don?t want to go anywhere. I just want to be safe. You don?t know what they do to you?? he kept his eyes tight shut, scared to look into the darkness outside. Visions of the pain flashed through his mind, making him twitch with each tormenting image. Burning red eyes pierced his mind, burrowing into his thoughts. He shook violently, drawing in quick, rapid breaths. Aidan frantically tried to think of what to do. Hurriedly, he ripped MetalArmadillomon from the wall and nodded to Gabumon to climb onto his back. Clinging to the ladder with his fingers, he looked down to MetalArmadillomon, who was clinging to his scabbard strap like a scared child. ?MetalArmadillomon, I want you to hold on tight, okay? You ready?? he asked urgently. MetalArmadillomon moaned quietly. ?Too late now? Aidan thought to himself as he felt his fingers let go. Air whistled past as they free-fell about sixty feet, Aidan?s wings closed due to the small space. Suddenly, Aidan caught a glimpse of a faded ?11? scrawled on the wall. He slammed his arms into the sides of the shaft and they came to a dead stop in front of a horizontal tunnel. He shoved Gabumon into it and carried MetalArmadillomon forwards, his claws digging into his chest. They reached a metal hatchway. Gabumon threw it open and jumped out, pulling Aidan free of the hole. MetalArmadillomon felt a cool breeze on his shell and dared to open his eyes. They were free of the tunnels. He sighed in relief, still shaking, and let go of Aidan, falling onto the floor. He lay there for a few seconds on his aching stomach and let his breathing slow down. Gabumon looked at him worriedly. ?Are you okay?? he asked quietly. MetalArmadillomon nodded weakly. ?I? sorry?? he managed in between breaths. ?I can?t stand? the darkness in there?? Tears rolled down his cheeks and onto the floor beneath him. ?I?m sorry?? Aidan felt a dull ache throbbing throughout both his arms. He knelt down next to the poor digimon and rubbed his painful wrist. ?It?s okay, we?re safe now,? he whispered softly. MetalArmadillomon pulled himself up to his feet and rubbed his eyes. He hated himself for panicking. He felt stupid. Determined to crush his fears, he looked up at Aidan. ?Let?s get out of here,? he croaked. From the darkness behind them, the creature watched them curiously. ?Get out?? she whispered to herself hungrily as the three things in front of her left the room quietly. She stood up, opened the door and silently disappeared down the corridor?

OOC: We're all together now. There's only one big group. ------------------------------------------ Aidan sighed and sat down on the ground, looking at the others around him. "I had no idea there'd be this many of us." The others nodded in agreement, all looking at each other. MetalArmadillomon crawled over to him and sat down. "How'd I do?" Aidan smiled. "You did great. Thanks." He looked over to Silleniimon, who was glaring at him angrily. Choosing to ignore her for the moment, he got up and walked over to the hole, where Asuramon was lying quite peacefully. "Uh.. how do we wake her up?" Aidan asked, looking objectively at Frankie and Rylonamon.

Can Dictators Rise Again in Europe?
Solo Tremaine replied to Ya)\/(I-YuGI's topic in General Discussion
Anyway, we should be getting back to the topic. *Looks back at topic. Can see it just below the horizon* Because there's so much more freedom today, it's unlikely there'll be any dictator coming to and major power soon, unless something really catastrophic happens. As for non-major powers, well, all you need to do is look at Zimbabwe and you've got a Nazi-like dictator running a purge on people who give the country its food and income. Crazy. I said earlier that dictators aren't stupid, but maybe I was wrong... -
I like X-Men. They were always my favourite lot of super heroes. But, Batman (I keep typing 'Batmon'. Scourge of Digimon...) is very very cool. I've never read any DC comics (or any Marvel ones, actually), but I can imagine that you've got to keep renewing things to keep the storyline fresh. Like anything, coming up with new ideas without just prolonging characters that should have long since died is hard. With something like Justice League it's easier because you've got villains from six different realities to deal with. And because it's a relatively new series, it's not begun to run dry yet. Which is good. Oh, wait! I read Batman: The Dark Knight Returns. Loved it lots.

"How much does it take to knock down one digimon?" Aidan shouted, jumping clear of a falling tree. MetalArmadillomon rebounded from a Blade Strike and landed next to him. "When it's Asuramon, it's a lot. But I think we're starting to wear her down." Aidan looked at the ground underneath Asuramon. It was wet and soft. "MetalArmadillomon, if you can dig a hole underground we'll be able to trap her in it so she'll be easier to catch." "Catch?" "How are we going to find out where to go if we destroy her? Now go quickly or else we'll be destroyed." MetalArmadillomon disappeared underground.

Then we can swap votes! Yaay! Or swap with Syke3. Either way, only one of them would be wrong then. NeoC's winning at the moment anyway.

Robo fish is in there. I have this for GameCube. In terms of other comedy characters, there's also R-One-Oh-Seven, Handyman, Dinosaur, Leo Krupps, and there are a few more. My favourite Arcade character's SentryBot. He's cool.

OOC: Blanko leave? :bawl: That's a shame. Um... it's not impossible to join in here (I can't think of any way of doing it right now), but it's up to you. ---------------------------------------------------- Aidan pulled himself free from Silleniimon's grip and made her drop MetalArmadillomon. "What's her problem?" he whispered. MetalArmadillomon glared at her. "She's never been the social type." "Seems more like the anti-social type to me." Aidan muttered under his breath. Suddenly, Shymon flew threw the air and crashed into him, knocking him back into some mud. Shymon shook himself. "Sorry about that." he said apologetically. Josh sighed. Asuramon lunged at Silleniimon and they exchanged heavy punches. Gururumon aimed a Chaos Blaster at Asuramon and fired. Diving out of the way, she kicked him over, sending Chris[2] and Veronica flying. "That does it!" Driavamon and Arukenimon chorused angrily, launching themselves at Asuramon...

I played this game solidly for about six months. It's absolutely fantastic. The only gripe I have with it is that Mr Game and Watch and Dr. Mario were in it- Ridley would have been so much better to have in their place. That, and there was no Wolf O'Donnell. :bawl: Wolfie! Anyway, I use Fox, Roy and Marth mostly, all of whom I'm unbeatable at (I wish). Well, I'm pretty darn good, anyway. My sister (21) is always Link, which means he's top of almost every ranking. Grrr... I managed to delete all the secret characters once. I got all of them except Mewtwo and MGAW in a day, which kind of shows how easy it can be once you've got a little experience. Do you think they'll create an add-on or anything? More characters? More levels? I want more!

Most of the Japanese music proper (i.e. not anime themes) I've seen within the last few months, and I can't say I'm that struck on it. It's just like normal rock in Japanese, and I'm not too hot on that either. Anime themes are for me. There was one that was good. I can't remember what it was called or even who it was by, but it was on Saiko-Exciting, if that helps...

I really like Justice League, but unfortunately the viewing schedules are a bit wacked here so I don't get to see much of it. Is the Savage Time movie the one where they have to travel back to WWII? I saw two parts of that, then it stopped. It got really good, too :bawl:. Batman, the Flash and HawkGirl are my favourite characters. But does anyone know what happened to Cheetah after her brief appearence in that two-parter with the Joker?

We need a few more mods for the Otaku Anime Forum.

I find it impossible to believe there's an anti-Shy club. A few more mods wouldn't go amiss. I have a suggestion- Free mods. That is, mods who are able to go almost anywhere and moderate. Sort of like how you and Adam do, James, except without the administration. That way, if the forum-specific mods are away for any reason, they can be contacted about it. It's just an idea, and it could mean a heck of a lot of work. Or we could at least have some substitute mods, who become activated if another's going to be away for a while. Again, it's just an idea. -
OOC: Seeing as Chris2 isn't actually called 'Chris2', I'm going to type it as Chris[2], just so I know the characters aren't saying '2' as well. Don't worry, I'm just funny like that. I take my writing way too seriously. But we haven't heard from Chris[1], yet, have we? Is he still coming? --------------------------------------------------------- "Finally, more people." Aidan sighed. Rokas gestured to Gururumon to get off Selleniimon, and he obliged. Selleniimon rubbed her sore neck. "Why did you attack us?" Aidan asked the fox digimon while Rokas introduced himself to Veronica, Kimberly and Chris[2]. Kairi looked at Aidan sternly. "We had to make sure it was you, not just some random Champion and Rookie." "I'm a Champion!" MetalArmadillomon exploded, immediately regretting it. Aidan held his hands up to calm him down. "It doesn't matter. What does matter is that we've found everyone." Kairi shook her head. "No, there're more. We left them back in the forest." "Oh. Are they okay on their own?" Aidan asked, seeing MetalArmadillomon start to walk away. Kiari smiled. "Yeah, they should be fine. I'm Kiari, by the way." she held out her hand for him to shake. He took it and smiled back. "Aidan." he said, moving a strand of hair from in front of his eyes. "You said they should be fine. Do you know for sure?" "No." Silleniimon said hoarsely, her neck still hurting. "There are all sorts of things in these forests." "Great." Aidan sighed. "Rokas!" he called. Rokas and Gururumon, carrying the three newly-arrived digidestined on his back, appeared. "We're going to find the others. Kairi, Silleniimon, seeing as you know where they are, why don't you lead the way?"

Can Dictators Rise Again in Europe?
Originally posted by Justin I find it funny that anytime there's a major conflict in Europe, America's allies call for her immediate assistance, yet when America has her own conflicts to deal with, our Europian allies criticize us and sit on their lazy butts all day.
It depends on the problem. Most of the ones in Europe at the moment were instigated by America, so it's only right that it should help sort it out. Besides, America's one of, if not the, most powerful nation in the world and is involved in more or less everything that goes on anyway, regardless of whether any assistance has or hasn't been asked for. The UN is made up of a lot of nations, not just America. It might seem like America's always doing things, but it's never really alone in dealing with them. But, living in the UK, I don't know half the problems that the US does have, so I don't know how much the US actually has to deal with, so I'm not sure how true my thoughts are. If it's an internal problem, though (as with the most recent Presedential election), then what are the allies supposed to do? Send troops over to look at each ballot form? Europe's a continent made up of lots of countries so the internal problems in Europe are actually between countries as opposed to states, and are of more global consequence if things go wrong. It's about time America started taking an interest in the rest of the world anyway. Politically, I mean. -
