My brother just got a/the Flaming Lips CD, and I must say, I love it... It's rock, but, well, obscure.. It's not very heavy or anything... Not hard rock or punk rock.. Like, Travis rock, knumsayin? I especially like the song "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt.1".... In fact, I'm listening to it right now.. I know she can beat them... Oh Yoshimi. The don't believe me... But you won't let those robots eat me...\ Heh heh.. Good song.. Anyway, anyone else like this bnad? The CD apparently is popular underground and ...overground? I dunno... Buy it.

Has anyone seen any of these movies? There are 5, 3 of them have been released in America on video and DVD. I have only seen the first one, but I loved it. Though the training music was kinda corny, and it was rather bloody during the opera scene, I thought the action was great, while it still retained a plot. It's set somewhere between 1850 and 1920, during what seems the gold rush, though set in China. It's about westeners coming to China and being, well, evil towards the Chinese... The main character, played by Jet Li, is a kung fu master, and also practices medicine while running his s chool for kung fu.. That's a brief summary of the first one.. I can't wait to get the next 2... By the way, the dub job in the special features menu is HORRIBLE. Anyway, anyone seen these movies?
