news bout Kane - The Torch is reporting that the backstage frustration continues as WWE once again defied logic with the Kane storyline. Last night, WWE gave three different stories regarding JR pressing charges. Firstly, if Kane is in house arrest, that means charges have already been pressed, whether by Jim Ross or if the authorities just stepped in. Then, Austin said that JR was not going to press charges. And, no more than 30 minutes later, Coach & Lawler questioned whether he would press charges. Add to the fact that the guards brought Kane to the ring in shackles, then let him destroy RVD, and eventually Linda, makes no logical sense. - Additionally, Kane was getting quite a few babyface cheers in the arena. WWE wants Kane to be a heel, but the fact that he cannot completely make the turn (and I would assume it has something to do with the fact that he's attacked management like Linda & Bischoff) further frustrates WWE officials. well old news one thing bout the Tombstone, I know she is the wife of the owner, but the tombstone was way protective, at least the view that we got. But I would like to see the tombstone in more matches, even tho I thought it was outlawed for being to risky of a move.

I rented the game on Saturday, and completed it on Wednesday. I rarely buy games unless I know its going to be something great. I had my doubts about this title, mainly because I had thought it was going to be action based, but it turned that it wasn't. They have labeled it turnbased but its on the border of that. As you have said the game can suck you in, and before you know it you spent the entire day just playing this game. So many things can be done in this game, bounty hunting, judging who is guilty in a case, and solving the an old family feud.(that one was one of my favorite, specially doing it the dark side way) The dialogue and your choices really makes you feel like you are having a big impact on the game and that you are that character. When I did complete the game doing EVERYTHING to get dark points, I didn't know that I could get Juhani, and now that Im using her its really good to have another Jedi on my side. Speaking of characters, it seems all the characters have some story behind them, well cept that lil droid. In the beginning I wanted to hear what they had to say, but as time went on, I grew tired of there talking(maybe a sign of the Dark Side) I just started doing things the good way, and have gotten to Tatooine, doing that part Charles mentioned with the Sand People. I did help them out, but then I just decided to slaughter them all. I had thought that I wouldn't find it all that addicting going to the light side, but its still the same as before. Many hours spent of gaming. But also I find the lightside way a lil bit more challenging, since I have to take the time to help this guy out and give this person credits. Heres are some questions I will ask all KOTOR players: Dark Side or Light Side? Color and Type of Lightsaber? Jedi Position?(Guardian, Consular, Sentinel) Favorite Force Power? For me on my 1st time playing it was: Dark Side, Red Double Lightsaber, Guardian, and Force Kill and now its Light Side, Blue and Green lighsabers, Guadian(I like to be strong) and Force Whirlwind

Now this is yet another guess, but is it like no media day(or is it all media day)?

Sadly, I do not own this game, I would like to.....but well my funds..............aren't of the right ammount. I did get the chance to play it(thanks to renting of course) and I was instantly hooked. Player models looks great, and you can tell alot of detail was put into each of them. I just had wished EA BIG would have done the same with the Create-A-Baller. There just isn't enough faces and outfits and the like to have them really look like a good.......baller. The tracks are great........even tho there aren't many and you find yourself just listening to the same thing over and over again. Hilarious commentating by.....the commentator( I forgot his name) makes you not want to turn the volume down, which it seems like most people do with most sport titles. Gameplay is just like the 1st one, which is a good thing. New moves and tricks make things feel fresh and new. And with the addition of a 2nd gamebreaker, it not only makes things look a whole lot prettier but also helps you win..and thats always good. Speaking of winning....it seems like thats all I do in this game. I know that the old game it was always a close battle in the end with the computer, but know its just too easy, even on the highest difficulty settings. But all in all this is a great game, filled with replayability off..........the heezay.

Silicon Knights, Rare, HAL Laboratory, and Retro Studios are the companies that he has helped with game development but I don't know if he was employed by them.

RAW review even tho I wasnt able to watch RAW, but I wondered what happened with the JR burning. Jericho and his Highlight Reel is always a perfect way to kick off Raw in my opinion. I thought it was great the way Eric Bischoff in particular, but then later on Jericho and the rest of the superstars pushed Kane as being this big menacing monster, yet they still aren?t nailing the storyline as far as I see it, but I?ll save that for further in the column. Even just watching Christian?s match up screen cracks me up. It was a nice idea to not only set up a second match for Raw next week in Los Angeles, but to set out the entire show for the night at the beginning. It lets you know what you have to look forward to and I suppose in WWE?s mind, gives you a chance to call your friends and neighbours about it. Test, Steven Richards & Victoria vs Scott Steiner, Kevin Nash & Trish Stratus Test?s hot shot on Trish from the apron looked great, Trish sold it well. Trish continued to put in the hard work by crunching off that shoulder block. Again King has to insult Coach by whinging about Jim Ross not being at ringside. That really annoys the hell out of me, especially since I think Coach does a better job anyway. Who will get the match against Test at Summerslam? Nash wants something to do and Steiner has already had his match, will they give it to Big Sexy? I don?t think either match would be a tremendous draw, perhaps a triple threat would work. Lance Storm vs Maven Lance had some nice material with his threats of taking legal action against the crowd. For a ?boring? man, he sure had me laughing. They kicked it off with some nice mat wrestling, which is a more technical realistic style obviously. There were a few hiccups, but it?s good to see Maven being tested with different style. Storm hit a vicious Superkick that I was sure would end the match, but what better way to push a man than call him boring and have him lose? The finishing sequence was a nice one, but I really don?t see why they would job Storm to Maven. This question has been asked many times, but why should we be watching a match if the commentators are even ripping it apart? The national anthem singing of France and then USA was five minutes of my life I want back. Elimination 6-man tag: Evolution vs The Dudley Boyz Evolution are looking like a great stable already, I think keeping them to three members could prove better than adding a fourth, but I would like to see Batista back in there when he recovers. Flair?s antagonising of Spike Dudley was hilarious. Hunter waited on the apron until making his big entrance into the match, hitting two punches and tagging back out. You think he might be a bit sore? Very good booking to have all of Evolution survive. First of all, it?s realistic. As the team who scores the first fall has an advantage anyway. Second, it pushes them as a cohesive unit. Orton getting all three falls was the right way to go, this kid needs some accomplishments under his belt. I missed how he got his mouth busted open, but damn it looked vicious. We saw a bit of RVD?s mean side as he promised to stop Kane. Personally I?m hoping something happens next week to prolong the match until Summerslam. Rosey vs Rodney Mack There was nothing to this match, except the eventual appearance of the Hurricane. Would a Hurricane and Rosey combination work? Sounds like a new Natural Disasters team to me (with Rosey changing his name to Earthquake II or something.) Intercontinental title: Booker T vs Christian This match didn?t hold a candle to last week?s contest, which is a shame. The swerve with Christian ?winning? was pulled off well though, I actually thought Booker had lost it after one week and would have to wait until Summerslam to get it back. Austin attacking Christian was entertaining, I really liked Christian?s collapsing method of selling the stunner. Women?s title: Gail Kim vs Molly This was by far the match of the night, yet it was the match with the least crowd heat. These women are really suffering from the lack of attention placed on their characters and storylines. Molly really has no direction right now and Gail is just Gail. A great flow to this match and some well orchestrated spots. Sit down interview with Kane First of all I don?t like this idea, I don?t think we need to further understand Kane. But, the way this segment went just plain sucked. WWE are flip-floppin like an old fish out of water. For the last two weeks Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler have been crapping on about how disfigured Kane is, despite his make up being removed in the process. Now all of a sudden they have turned it around to him not having any scars and just being a psycho. Perhaps if they hadn?t pulled this one out of their rear-ends at the last minute it might have worked. But this is just pure crap. If they just found a damn way to make his face look somewhat scarred then the angle could have been fine. Jim Ross getting burnt was disturbing to watch and I am impressed that they pulled it off as well as they did. However, this disappointing angle was saved by Eric Bischoff who came out with intensity steaming off him to confront Austin. The Heinous Rating: Match quality - 2/4 Main event - 2/2 Storyline quality - 0/1 Something important or shocking - 1/1 Comedy - 1/1 Crowd participation - 1/1 Total: 7/10 The elimination tag and Lance Storm vs Maven scored match points, whilst the women?s main event gets the full two. I can not, can not, can not give them the storyline points when my opinion is so ridiculously soured by this Kane angle. It is far from being ruined, but they really need to plan ahead more than a few minutes. Next week we might have Joanie Laurer come out as Kane and claim he had a sex change because he?s sexually confused. Flair sticks out in my mind as the comedy man of the night and the crowd was decent. Raw scores a B+.

Fear of Nobody........ness?
GhostofSalvtore replied to GhostofSalvtore's topic in General Discussion
I've been through college and I still feel that way...often. Unless you are born wealthy and have absolutly zero motivation, I think you just have to work hard and set goals. I know that my biggest goal right now is getting a promotion so I can save up enough money to move to NYC. The one thing I learned by supporting myself during my final years in college is that you can have all the brains in the world, but if you don't work hard it'll catch up to you later in life...
Well ya now I like to live by this quote, my dadda told me, but I think its orinally from the Vince Lombardi book. "Success comes before work only in the dictionary" Reason he tell me such things is because of his background and the things he has done in his life. Backstory, orginally he is from Iran and he was able to be adopted(dont know the details) from there. Fast forward that a bit, he never went to high school(dropped out in 7th grade) and now I and he would say he is pretty successful, owning a few Golds Gyms around here. Its not about what education you have; its about your work ethic. So yah he set his goals everydays on how he wants to live out that day, and he just tells me the same things. So hopefully I will be similar in the future with my career and life. -
Well I would say personality, but the first thing is appearances. If I am not attracted to that person physicaly then I will not approach the,(I dont mean that I will run away from them because they aren't beautiful to me). But I guess thats kinda sad because that person could really have a personality that fits with me. But the only way to have a long lasting relationship, one that lasts more than a day, is to have a compatible personality.
-
Have ya ever had that fear or wonder that you were going to just be a nobody when you got of age. Like you would be in a going-nowhere-job, never really making any sort of impact on yourself or anyone around you? Like maybe your in highschool and you really don't have plans for the future..(not saying thats its me, because I am goin to college to do something) But the thought has crossed my mind a few times. Or maybe you are in that sort of situation.
-
Of course Family Guy is the best, hmm lets see, *thinks of last nights ep* Peter "What am I supposed to do with all my creative ideas, put em in the tub and clean myself with them..........cuz thats what soaps for Lois" Stewie "Your the worst thing to happen to plays since Andrew Lloyd Webber..........*throws food at Lois*......."and you..........well I just plain don't like you"
-
The big news for the day, it was known before tonight tho. That Hulk Hogan has quit the WWE, he says that the creative team did it for him. Also HHH control in the back is too strong for him to handle. He has said that he is going back to Japan. Or also he could go to the XWF, I think its called, and maybe have that compete with the WWE. So who knows, looks like Hogan wont be coming back, its sad though, since he didnt get a proper way of going out.
-
Yay for family guy and my random family guy quote.......... "So Chris came in with all this yo yo yo stuff, so I beat him with a hose, then my arm get tired, and now I'm here." I just cant wait till the 2nd volume comes out, since I think the 3rd season of FG was the best. All the episodes have something thats just extremely hilarious about them. So yah as you can tell I am a huge Family Guy fan.
-
Wow this is some of the best stuff I have seen here in a lil while, the way it looks reminds me of what I could do if I just perfected myself a bit more, but anyways very nice indeed on all pics.
-
Well as you can see I am a big FG fan, but what else would you say we should put in there, there just has to be something, all suggestions would be helpful.
-
Well that is a weirdness thingy, a very rushed weirdness thingy.
-
Well I don't think we will find anything about them, since I heard this game takes place years before the other games. Snake may not have even been born, who knows. But anyway, I can't wait till the game comes out. I liked MGS2, even tho alotta people didn't. I mean sure there was alot of story and it didn't seem to be a good one at that, but I enjoyed it. Well except the love story parts, those got old real fast. But I like those kinda movie games, where there are alotta cinemas to watch but I would have hoped for some more actually gaming. And the jungle scene will just take the game to a whole new level, if they pull it off, and I think they will. And since they took off the radar and all the other things they're doing to make the game more realistic, with the eating of food and the such, this should make this MGS game more challenging than the rest.

There my friends is a prime example of a good banner, very nice indeed, keep up the good work. And with my banner as well......(yes I know I gotta get the pic, but I'm lazy)

Gaming What game do you want thats comming out for X-Box beside Halo 2
GhostofSalvtore replied to Guess?'s topic in Noosphere
RAW 2 is on my list, I am not like all hyped about Halo 2 since its al long ways away from now. But RAW 2 looks to have improved upon everything bad about RAW 1 and added some of its own unique things. I never got the oppurtunity to play RAW 1, but I think that I am glad I didn't since I heard it wasn't good at all, some people say it was a shame to all WWE games. But now Anchor looks to have come familiar with the Xbox and now has more time to work on it and perfect it. It has all the qualities of a great WWE game, with updated roster, slew of matches, engaging story mode, great CAW with no limitations on what your entrances will look like. Also the core gameplay that was in RAW 1 looks to be changed and revamped in RAW 2. They got rid of the tug-of-war like meter at the bottom and replaced it with a more No Mercy-like stamina meter. And the actual wrestling itself seems to be No Mercyish with slow simulation and selling of moves and such. There could also be a few flaws in the final game. Now if the gameplay could be even slower paced then No Mercy was. Which will make matches so very boring. Also I don't know if the CAW will be that great, I heard it has been improved, but the original RAW seemed to only have basic attires and moves to use for CAWs. Only thing that was good about the CAW was the entrances and how you could customize almost anything in them. Speaking of entrances, I don't know yet if the final product will have all the up-to-date music for the actual superstars. But we will all have to wait till the game comes out, and the release date has been going back and forth all the year. But now its scheduled for a late September release. But who knows, with most WWE games, they always get pushed back, but in this case I would be pleased to see it happen and to know that they are improving on what looks to be a great WWE game. -
Kane Situation-:lecture: Tonight we could see the total destruction of a possibly the greatest gimmicks in WWF(E) history. Kane, the mask, the monster, he has had many instances where we thought he would be demasked but knew in the back of our heads that it just couldn't happen, it wouldn't happen. But tonight may be the night. Demasking Kane kills his status in the WWE forever. :angry2: There are however some options, some very good possibilities that could happen and save his character as well as build up some others. So tonight will be a show that hasn't happened in a long time, a RAW where "Anything can happen" 1)Someone else takes the place of Kane-Now we just got off a feud of Nash and HHH, so what if Nash dressed up as Kane. This could easily happen, with both having the same build, you would just have Nash dress up as the Old Kane covering his tatoos. Then you can pull what Kurt Angle did with his brother and have Kane roll in and get the victory making an alliance between Nash and Kane, which would come off well for both characters. 2)Double DQ- This seems to me that it would be the most obvious, have a huge fight that would result in a double DQ. But then again that idea could be scrapped if it turns out to be NO DQ by Austin thinking that he would cause a DQ. 3)Kane wins(controversially)- Have Kane win, and then probably lose the title the following week or maybe, just maybe, he could keep it till SummerSlam. This could upset Goldberg most likely, since it is almost certain that he will face HHH for the title at SummerSlam. But if HHH got the title back next week then this would upset the fans even more, since I mean really, how long has he had the title. He may end up so low in the fans eyes that he may never recover. 4)Paint behind the mask-Kane could do this, just have black paint covering his entire face. If you notice, you can see some paint around his eyes. If none of these happens, and Kane gets demasked then thats it folks, all the Kaninites, or whatever their called, are gone. WWE creative team will have killed off its longest running and best gimmick.:(

I like the dark thing, and I say to this.........a supder duper a wow wow, very good indeed, can't make out some of the words till ya told me, but doesn't matter just a very good piece I say, keep up the good work...........(and my banner too)

Lets see my parents have been divorced for about.....hmm 7 or 8 years(when I was 8). It really didn't affect me all that much. I mean I really can't say where I would be today even if they hadn't been divorced. Mainly it didn't matter because I wasn't really around my dad that much. We weren't close at all, and still to this day I don't think we are or will we ever be. I just se him on occasions when and if he can fit me into his busy schedule. The worst part was the early years of living with my mom, since she was ready to date, I would pretty much be left at home. So I pretty much had to raise myself. But then I also got to stay at my Ome's house(German for grandma) And she also took care of me very well. I don't believe that I had ever thought that I caused the divorce. I mean I knew alot at a young age. And knew what was going on, it wasn't my fault, it was my dad's.

What is your favorite thing to do on the weekend
GhostofSalvtore replied to TarMeg1989's topic in General Discussion
I like to do nothing with a pinch of something. These days during the week I am so bored with ed of driving and seeing old friends, job searching with a lil odd job doing. So during the weekend its nice to have a little "me" time. -
Gotta love the big guns, yah those 2 would definetly be my favorite, I mean who can really take them on, with the...big guns...and the flashing and explosion....*wiz bang*...*explode*

What is your favorite Late Night Talk Show, I, like many of my friends, like Late Night with Conan O"Brian because like some of the other shows, namely David Letterman or even Jay Leno, there is never a dull moment, I really can't watch David Letterman because after a little while I get just really bored, and after Jay Leno's monologue the show usually just gets boring. But with Conan O"Brian, he always keeps the show funny, even during interviews which the other shows don't seem to do well. Jay Leno does have probably the best monologues, but some nights there doesn't seem to be alot of news and the monologue suffers. He usually does a pretty good segment afterwards, but I really just like to watch "Headlines" I have never really gotten into a David Letterman show, so I dont have a real opinion on it, the show just doesn't catch my attention like the others do. But thats the end of my ramblings on Late Night shows, yah you may have noticed that I left out the other to....Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Kilborn because those shows.....are pretty bad, and I just don't watch them.....ever.

Car Crashes/Interesting Driving Experience
GhostofSalvtore replied to Syk3's topic in General Discussion
I was in one bout a year ago, it wasn't anything major, just a lil bump here and there, but it was just funny what happened afterwards. Well what happened was we were crossin an intersection, it was ourturn to go and such, and this lady just hit us right in the middle of the intersection. Well afterwards we both parked in a nearby parking lot to see the damage and to exchange information. Well the lady for some reason wouldn't give us her information. And my dad was acting all cool, calm, and collected about it and just asked her politely and talked to her why he needed her info. She kept yelling and screaming at my dad because she didn't think she had to. Well she never gave it and we had to call a cop to make her give us the info. In the end she did give it to us, but it was just an interesting experience..........to me
