I like this definition of geek: A geek is someone who spends time being "social" on a computer. Geeks are rather openminded with regards to nonstandard lifestyles. Many geeks are queer, more practice non-monogamy, and the most common religion is neo-paganism. You can't tell if someone is a geek just by looking at them, there is no dress code. Some dress casual, some prefer silk - but few pay attention to current fashion. You are more likey to see a geek in a renaissance bodice than a dress from glamour magazine; or a tiedye instead of suit and tie. The unwritten geek credo states that originality and strangeness are good, and that blind conformity and stupidity are unforgivable. Take care not to confuse the terms geek and nerd. A nerd is a person with no social skills, usually obsessed with science or technology (geek is more computer specific). Nerds are known for their pocket protectors, taped glasses, and plaid shirts. Many nerds are also geeks, using the net as a safe screen to hide behind while practicing their social skills. Hm..Hawaii has no subways. We have a city bus and adults pay $1.50 while students/kids pay .75 cents. It used to be $1.00 and .50 cents...curse them. The bus is actually ok. It's the people....... The bus is usually on time at A:15 and A:43.

people are in deadly situations when they cross the street..get in a car..... i don't swim that good...so me and my friend went to a pool and she coaxed me to the deep end where she would "teach" me how to float. i held on to the sides of the pool and grabbed on to her while she swam in the middle of the deep end. she told me to hold my breathe, and she put her arms under my back for support. then she let go and i paniced. i sunk down with my arms and legs thrashing and i opened my eyes in the water. i saw the sun above me and thought "so...this is how im going to die?". i looked around and saw her thrashing legs and somehow i got up and grabbed onto her hair and arms. she helped me back to the side and said she thought i was joking when i said i couldn't swim. she was my best friend then and she still is now. what a nice person i am. :bawl:

my friends are die hard witchblade fans and they have tons of their comics. i look through their comic stacks and theres like 3 manga in all. they like that guy with the long dark black hair... i've seen the series on tnn and ....ughhhhh.

I honestly don't know. I do my homework half-assed and I miraculously manage a 3.5 gpa. Each night...I'd guess 10 mins-2 hrs. I'll be lucky if I don't have any. Try not to procrastinate on projects and essays though.
