Originally posted by James I just want you to know that not all guys out there are like that. I'm sure I speak for a lot of members on these boards when I say that most of us wouldn't behave like that toward a girl.
Yeah, heheh. :) I don't like it when people blame the entire opposite/same sex for them getting screwed over because of their own stupidity.
Originally posted by James Yeah, I think that a lot of it is total hypocracy.
More like double standards. Boy do they suck. I can't even go out to a skate park without guys giving me crap. I can't play games at a video arcade without having a guy challenge me, and If I win, rechallenge me again so they don't get defeated by a 'girl'. If I reply with sarcasm or give intelligent insults they say I have PMS. What about guys screwing tons of girls and being 'cool' while girls are called sluts. die die die my darling...

heh. me = ska/punk fiend. People say Propagandhi is "PC Punk"...they say they're progressive thrash. But, whatever, try "And we thought that nation states were a good idea"
-
at school theres this guy that wears a Tool shirt, so I'd assume he likes the band..hes kind of the stereotype of what a 'punk' looks like...down to converse shoes and the liberty spikes, he acts like a total idiot, im not even going to mention what he tries to talk to me about. i took note of him because his shirt best describes what he is. ha ha ha

Barf. I/We (almost my entire student body) have no school spirit. I wouldn't blame them though...
Originally posted by BabyGirl Ahh, I have no idea what you just said. But Navi, my parents are in Hawaii right now...for the Maui Writer's Conference :D
Trogladytes are cave dwelling people. Heheh. What kind of Writer's Conference? Maui is actually pretty nice...compared to the other islands :)

first time fighting ganondorf i kept charging my sword to defeat him. i didn't know you could just hit em without charging. me = a$$

i agree, when i first got oot bong bongo was irritating. after i devised a plan i kicked his invisible ***.

i was just thinking of that yesterday. that we'd have a 'the otakuboards con' and everyone would go wearing shirts with their screen names on em. there are a couple of people i'd like to meet and converse with. of course that'd be almost impossible due to the residence of everyone. booooooooooo *keeps dreaming*

Is it just me or does no one like me here at all?
Originally posted by PiroMunkie People would still have to work, but not for the money (since there wouldn't be any). Everone would work for the good of their fellow man/woman (so as not to be "sexist"). So there would still be K-Mart, or Shopko, or wherever you get stuff. You just go get at the time you need/want it.Social classes would disappear because there would no longer be the poor or the "rich". Everybody would have what they wante. Of course thered be some restrictions with it. For example, only so much of one item unless definite proof that they need more than the limited amount.
At the stores you'd need people to work there right? So people wouldn't steal and stuff, so what would you give them for working? Or would they just be satisfied with helping others as their payment? How would these items be made, shipped, etc without the use of money? What if people did not want to work for the good of their fellow man? Does someone that works harder than the person next to him deserve more? I applaud your maturity when discussing these things with me. :)

Nope....never been in a physical fight. I do, however, enjoy martial arts. I just don't use my hands, feet, etc to beat someone up because I've ran out of insults to say. Mental torture is beautiful. "You can rearrange my face but you can't rearrange my mind, you can beat this shell about me, but you can't touch what's inside" -Propagandhi

I doubt the world would be a better place without money. We'd still need to use some kind of bartering system. How would you get something you wanted? Trading people favors? I don't think money is pointless, I think the way people value it is. Profit before lives. Bullshit shows like Fear Factor, Survior, Big Brother, etc. They show people who want money...and how do they get it? By making themselves look like asses trying to. Degrade yourself by forcing yourself to eat buffalo testicles, sheep's eyes, laying in a pit of worms or rats so you can beat the next guy and get closer to the money. Surely they are not insulting our intelligence. Why the **** do we waste millions of dollars on the lottery? They give out that money to 'give back' to the people who enter the lottery. Why don't they do something useful with that money, like helping people? Whoa, what a revelation! ****, one of the biggest industries in the world is advertising. In school we have these binder reminders and they're full of em! Want to buy a soda?....No, you don't want to buy a soda, you want to buy a Pepsi. Join the military so you can die for your country, a country that was built on the back of slaves, a country that didn't want anything to do to prevent genocide and the list goes on and on. I fail to see how everybody would how the abolishment of money would lead to 'better' living. How could everyone be supplied with everything they needed? I wish that was possible, but everyone is not altruistic or kind. How would it get rid of social classes?
Originally posted by Sephiroth I have been saying that some guys were kawaii, and some members started to question my sexuality, well unlike most heterosexual people, I can say if a guy looks good or not, so my question is, if I am in any way bisexual, would that be a problem to the rest of you members? because I don't think there is a problem with my sexuality if I am bisexual....
I do that all the time with girls. I don't think I'm gay or bi though, not that'd I'd have a problem if I was...I've noticed that I enjoy reading Shonen Ai fanfics and I think they're 'romantic'. I like reading about Hiiro and Duo, Ryu and Ken, Shinji and Koaru, and many more. I think their 'relationships' are beautiful. No ones sexuality would be a problem to me.

Cosplay is when people dress up as anime/manga/video game characters. What character would you dress up as? I'd dress up as Lum in her school girl uniform.
