Subversive replied to Senor Ding Dong's topic in Noosphere
*Gets Amped* (not for the Vamp...sorry TVE) Yay! I always knew Nintendo would do something incredible like this...the first step seems like it should occur soon! -

Hey its an outlet to reach people, I give it a big thumbs up. I personally am not into it, but if it works for you, it works.
-
I wouldn't do any of that, but alot of my friends do. Frankly, its their choice.
-
*looks at sig* Is that a joke or do you really not know what to do?

For some reason VB wont allow to put 2 attachments in a single post, nor does it allow to edit a post with no attachment and add one. Is there anything you can do about that, for I really hate breaking the rules *snikers* *points at name* Heres the fourth with a more visible bottom.

Possibly. Here's a banner I was working on this morning.
Originally posted by DarK DeatH That's what I was trying to make that one there to understand... Mankind cares about itself only... But it seems like he doesn't want to understand that...
Maybe in general. I do not think like this, I know alot of the people around me don't. Is the glass half empty, or half full? Is the mankind evil, or good natured and just making mistakes?
Originally posted by DeathBug We're not perfect, but we can envision what perfection would be, and we can strive for it. That's what makes us worthy.
Exactly. I personally do not believe we evolved from "monkeys". But monkeys can't think like us, they can't type like this, they can't even see these colors. So- yeah we're higher then them.

At the time we had no idea what it was doing to the enviroment. Why was it continued: greed by entreprenuers, not trying to conform to the enviromently safe theories. They cared about themselves, thats all.

Muhahaha... What you think about the new, more destructive me?
Originally posted by Metatron Geez you are soooo negative dark... environmental issues were not really recognized or addressed until recently. Human beings were simply did not realize the repercussions that came with technology until recently. We are now trying to correct the damage we've done. Give them time and have some faith.
I agree. See my first post...
Originally posted by DarK DeatH Time? you want time? I mean, we are in the year 2003 AD and you want some more time? They had already more than all those 2003 years to evolve and not polute but yet they need time? So does that mean that by the year 4000, IF humankind still lives, it will be better? No way... I at least don't believe that... It's all like a cancer... If you don't cut it out at the first possibility, you will never more, and it will kill you...
Uhhhh hate to tell ya there bud, but polution really didn't start until about half a century ago.

I rarely cry, but if I do its for a good reason. No offense but...I don't think I'd ever cry over anything at Otaku for I hardly know most of the people. I wouldn't mind to be friends with those here, I sadly though can not spend every waking hour of the day here.
Originally posted by Metatron Point is, its too easy to take a life nowadays. Even little kids play with a gun and accidentally shoot themselves or someone else.
Thats their parent/guardians fault, besides a child is not true representation of society- yet. The problem is if at that age they are taught death, violence, and destruction, they input that into society. So, it may be easy for them to take a life, but for most people I still (maybe blindly) believe that it is not that way.

How about this?
Originally posted by Metatron All you have to do is pull a trigger.
Yes. But for a civilized humanbeing like my self that "simple" act of pulling a trigger would be harder then wind surfing in a huricane. I don't think I could pull the trigger, and I hope most of you could say the same.

Do people deserve to exist? No. We are sinful by nature, thus in the eye of the creater imperfect. That was before Jesus sacrificed himself for us. We live for one reason only. God wants to see the good in us, and does. The "Enviromental Problem" is that- a problem. We are doing what we can do. Could we have done it earlier, not likely. Problems can only be solved after they are problems. We didn't know of a problem until recent past, thus we have acted as quickly as possible. I've gotta go with my 2. 1. Star Wars Episode 1 Racer - The only starwars game I've ever really gotten into. What made it great? The handling, customization of parts, amount of characters, course design, and of course - high speeds. 2. Mario Kart 64 - I can't wait for the second! What made it great? Your favorite mario characters having it out with shells, mushrooms, and some lightning on a really, really wacky course.
