1. Yeah, the anime shows you have to really watch and understand, like any good movie. The American ones are the kind of turnon-tunein kind of things.
2. I do believe in them, but I doubt a lot of the alien sightings that the scourge of the earth talk about. Out of all the space in...space, there HAS to be at least one other planet close enough to a sun to sustain some basic form of life. The most probable form would be some microbe, or possibly vegetation.
3. Beedrill, if trained properly and has the right moves, can be one annoying bug. I beat my friend's Charizard with mine >:D And he'll never forget my level 255 Gengar
4. I saw the movie a long time ago. It was pretty good, considering I'm not much of a stargate fan.
5.
Originally posted by Smoky Joe Isn't the Urotsukidoji series hentai? That would explain why he found it weird...Like many other people.
Yeah, that'd do it.
6. My friends and I all have little common interests. Usually games and anime. Some of them don't like the same anime as me, and the others do. Some don't like the same games, and the others do.My friends and I get along pretty well though. Remember: It's almost impossible to find someone who likes the exact same things as you. There's always a difference in some way.
7.
Originally posted by sandramaxwell06 :flaming: This is ridiculous, every day when i go to school i get wierd looks from people because i go with my Sailor Moon bookbag. It's so stupid! I mean these people come up to me and say.. "My little sister watches that show and she's only six!" Of course I know that little kids watch this show, I'm not ignorant but I have all the right to obsess about whatever I want too! Sometimes I feel like the only one. :smirk: But we anime fans are all over the place! Anyone else having this problem?!
I get that a lot. I'm very withdrawn, and I get harassed by other people, but they smoke and spraypaint on each other and throw fireworks in class, so there. There's a few hardcore anime fans at school (I'm one of em) But I'm the only guy there that really likes SM (I know some that watch it, but aren't as much into it as me)
8. My dad is an SG1 fan... I only watch if he makes me. Actually, I was making fun of the word Gould (No, I don't know how to spell it) while doing the dishes.
9. The old Sailor Moon episodes recount on the same scene in the future many times, especially Tuxedo Mask >.<
10. My parents have been seperated all my life, but I still get to visit both of them, usually, whenever I want to. I guess I'm a lucky one...
11. To dream is to view reality through a filter... At least that's what I think.
12. When anime first came out in NA a long time ago, I tried watching it. My parents automatically told me to turn it off or watch something that was drawn well. Anime is drawn well, they just don't see it through different eyes.
13.
Originally posted by rMs I know what you mean. My brother always says that DBZ is getting wierder every time he sees it. I told shut the *$#& up and quit wacthing it. P.S. DBZ rocks.
I've heard this from a lot of people out here, actually. They complain, yet they still watch it. Sad.
14. As I've mentioned a few times already to some people, I'm a huge Sailor Moon fan, although we get crap for SM stuff out here...
15. I've never actually had a girlfriend before and I'm almost 16, so don't be too worried. Wait until you find someone that really works before you start trying your hand at the wrong people.
16. It's just a short story I made, and it's not as good as my first one, but I'm still pretty proud of it. Check it out... Holocaust It had finally happened. The world became angry enough with each other that they sent out their atomic missiles to incinerate countries like mere roadkill on the Highway of Life. The earth was scorched, and life seemed to be non-existent. No birds soared through the sky, not a plant was alive for miles. A group of four crawled out from underneath the scorched rubble and shook off their weariness. They had noticed that they were the only four alive for miles and miles and miles. They had decided to leave the radioactive area in which they stood, amongst the cracked and charred earth, peeling away from itself. They organized themselves and headed out on a quest to find a place to call home. They would search for a long time to find any place with green vegetation and some running water, which they were in short supply of. They started their hike towards the horizon. Hopefully, the shockwaves would have missed a small area in that general direction and leave grass and food alive and well. They walked for hours and hours more. Still, not a sign of grass or anything off the horizon in any direction. The sun beat down on them with its mighty warmth and light through a plume of smoke from the blast. They group stopped for a rest and found a small grotto with scummy water. Being so desperate, they drank some to continue on their quest. After filling up and cooling off, the group started moving again. Over the large cracks and gashes, strewn all over the landscape, they climbed. Even dunes of sand had began to appear. They continued on over the dune to, hopefully, find a safe spot to live. It was still raining minor debris. Sand and other little pieces of human life fell from the sky and landed near them. At the top of the dune, they looked out over the horizon, now slightly higher, and still could not see any sign of vegetation or water, except for a very tiny dribble of liquid on the side of the dune in a little depression; obviously, some liquid left over from a household. They couldn't guess what this stuff was, but they had a choice: drink it and take your chances, or die anyway. They took their chances drinking the vile liquid, and felt somewhat refreshed. Refreshed enough to continue walking. Their legs were in pain and becoming very stiff, but they still pressed on to a destination of some sort. Hopefully, it wasn't just in their minds. Hours had passed. Many and many of hours had passed, and so far the only thing they had seen is couple of spots with liquid and a mushroom cloud's remnants. It was almost night time and they were dying from the heat. Luckily, the night winds started to blow in, and cooled them off enough to not die from heat stroke. More debris blew towards them as it flowed with the wind. Off in the distance, yet another mushroom cloud could be seen, back and to their left. Yet, it was very far away and had no chance of hurting them. Some more debris blew towards them from the explosion off in the distance. It was against their backs, so it did nothing to them. Unhindered by almost everything, they managed to climb a tall, tall mountain large enough to see the ground below for a very long distance. A quick glance straight ahead of them denoted a patch of vegetation, large enough for them to live on. It also had a pond of water in it. Fresh water. The group was happy, and hurried down the mountain. One of their team mates fell off the mountain side and had perished. The group mourned her loss, but nothing could stop them from reaching their destination, not even a dead member. They continued through the cracks and scars, which were starting to thin up. They had almost reached the edge of the explosion. After almost an hour, the group had made it to the grass. It felt cool on their feet and the water was the best they had tasted. This was it. They could now finally rebuild their anthill and start a new colony in safety.
17. Although I rarely ever play my Silver anymore (I used to be a huge Pokemon Otaku) but I got the sparkly/shiny Suicune, Entei, Raikou and Skarmory, plus the red Gyarados.
18. I never saw much anime, being in Canada and all, but I thought Vegeta in the pink shirt was classic :)
19. Ach, that reminds me of another OLD nightmare... five others friends of mine had it the same night, in fact. I remember still being awake in my nightmare, when a huge pair of red Sonic-like eyes glared at me. I thought it was a trick with light, so I just turned the other way. It was on my wall next to me. I looked at the ceiling; there it was. I hid my head under my pillows; there it was, peering into my mind, like some Gossip Stone. I even hid under my bed, and there it was, watching me. I punched myself in my dream until I woke up with bruises all over. Scariest damn dream I've ever had.
20. My mind does WEIRD things at night... I remeber that the moon from Majora's Mask was going to fall, and I was the only sane one left. I tried to talk some sense into the Addams Family, then I went crazy, hijacked a hovercraft and ran over Donkey Kong. *shakes head* So wrong...
21. When I filled up a cup after brushing my teeth, I didn't look in it, so I took a big swig from it. I stopped when I felt something thingly on my tongue. 'Twas a spider (And that's prolly where I got my arachnophobia from)
22.
Originally posted by PrettygurlRei Yep that's about it. But I don't understand why, If the mask sales men new it had extreme power. Why did he get it?
I just want to know where he found it. I don't think that they mention that at all throughout the whole game.
23.
Originally posted by Aries Wow, that's awful. I agree, beat the guy's face in, because that's just awful.
I concur... words don't always solve the problem.
24. Just this morning, my dad finally found out how much I like Sailor Moon, which he said deserves a psych. He's another one of those anal people that doesn't understand something, and therefore, bashes it. Unfortunately for him, he's going to have to live with it for a while.
