im finally not totally zoned out now. * californication(red hot chili peppers)- anything with that "tripped out, mellow vibe" to it that i can just zone out to. when i hear stuff like this, its like its the only thing in the world. *champagne supernova(oasis)- same as californication *tonight, tonight (smashing pumpkins)- one the most beautiful songs ive ever heard. *the entire Nirvana unplugged album- i love Kurt Cobain like a brother. i used to get really emotional whenever i saw him on television after he died. im just getting to where i can watch the unplugged show without moping around for the rest of the day. watching this concert is like... i cant describe it.

last night, i dug under my bed to get my cards out to sell them. as i pulled them out, some of them brougth back memories of stompings (either given, or recieved) and others were just worth a lot of money. (i have 46 pages of rare cards and 4 more pages of cards autographed by the coresponding artists.) i was like, "Tori, do i have to sell these?" "no" "youre supposed to say 'yes'." then i told her about the values of the cards and how older cards (which is all i have) get more valuable. "do NOT sell those cards."
-
all the rulebooks should be the same. if they tell you to buy another deck, they're probably just trying to get more money.
-
*3 Libras (A Perfect Circle)- Tori and myself (i think that says enough.) *Down (311)- it reminds me of being young and in...like the fourth grade, when i first heard it. i get really weird reminiscent when i think about stuff like that. i miss being young and innocent.

im sure you could find a rule book easily(online or elsewhere). there (used to be. i dont know if this is still true.) is one in every booster pack (the box ones, not the packet kind). lol...or my bro. could give you one. he has about 400. (he bought booster packs by the case, not individually.)
-
I haven't gotten a booster pack since Nemesis came out.
i quit playing at about the second Urza expansion.
That man right there is a smart man.
oh... why, thank you very much.
I just got a bit overprotective, but I had the right after things I had been hearing!
tell me about it, man... anyway, splits are never any fun, but they do work out easier when people are mature about it instead of being the way you described. if she acts like that, let her go. just ignore her and let her make herself look stupid. my best advice is "dont even bother with it. leave it alone."

i never played legend of the 5 rings, but i heard it was pretty good. i played magic for years. i have about 3 or 4 thousand cards (currently trying to sell). my brother has almost 26.5 thousand. my friends and i would play all the time (even in class and during tests). sometimes games would last days. then, wizards of the coast realized that if they watered down the mechanics and made the game easier they could make a killing.it just got so corporate that it wasnt fun any more. the new players who come in dont know what it used to be like. its a sad, sad world.

nah. its alright you can call me trenton if you want...(even though my name is ryan). i love ibanez guitars and line 6 equipment. guitar: 1. ibanez GAX70 with custom seymour duncan pickups (clear butterscotch) 2. ibanez RG270 (black) bass: 1. ibanez GSR200 (black) amp: 1. line 6 spider 50w 2x10 (that means 2x10in speakers) 2. fender bassman25 you can check out some more of the equipment at the companies' sites im playing a show in april. its supposed to be at a cancer walk marathon thing. we're deciding a playlist now and im thinking about playing some audioslave stuff. weve got some smashing pumpkins and rhcp right now.
-
lol! man, you kill me. its treton. T-R-E-T-O-N. not trenton. only one "n". lol man, that is hilarious. "treton" is french for "newt" (and the the "noir" makes it "black newt") anyway. one track from "audioslave" always stands out. its the solo, of course, that really hooked me though. its "shadow on the sun". this song is amazing from start to finish. the vocals. the riffs. incredible. the part where tom goes into the solo. its @ 2:31. he goes note, echoed pick scrape, note, scrape, etc., then when he puts on the phaser pedal (or whatever it is) and starts soloing... the first time i heard it i was like, " [whispery voice] sweet God in Heaven... [/whispery voice]" it completely blew me away. just amazing. btw what kind of equipment do you have? ive noticed a lot of people who have instruments and such, claim to play, but have crappy stuff. it makes me happy to see people who have well made instruments, take of them, and play them well (im not saying money=talent, so dont act like i did).
-
Tom Morello is a guitar genius...and a Harvard graduate (law, i believe). his approach to the guitar is so different. he makes so many new sounds and noises with his instrument and is a very inventive player. i am always impressed by his talent. i often find my self trying to figure out how he made a sound and trying to reproduce it.

excuse me for trying to have a discussion.

i think there is (that kind of nut). i bought the new nirvana album. the day before it was released. keep in mind the bought part. im not like someone i know *cough*mybrother*cough* who had the new system of a down album 4 weeks before it was released (giving "steal this album"(album title) a whole new meaning.
-
not even the slightest hesitation. yes. absolutely. Tori is everything. im not too keen on the whole "being dead" part, but for her...
A harder question is, would you live for the one you love?
i do..., and only for her.

my beagle is a nut job. 1.he doesnt bark at people or other dogs. he barks at nothing. 2.he thinks he is a cat. 3.he doesnt like dog food. he eats peanuts and pecans (he removes the shell and eats the insides on his own), barbecue chips, and andy capp hot fries. 4.he likes to chase rabbits, too. he is old and has heart worms and is going to die soon, so i hope i get another one.

YES! thank you, semjaza. you are my deliverer. very few people have any taste here, and i must say that yours is some of the best. i didnt start this thread for fear of no responses but its good to see that somebody else did. as with any of corgan's music, it friggin rocks the balls off an elephant! this man is a genius. think about how long he and his music have been in the public eye. every time he releases something, it gets huge. (i didnt think zwan would, but it seems to be blowing up pretty fast). on the band- 1.corgan is a genius. 2.jimmy chamberlin was originally a jazz drummer. thats why he's a friggin awesome rock drummer. 3.paz is an excellent bassist. and she is with APC. 4.matt sweeney was with skunk and chavez before joining zwan. excellent musician. 5.david pajo was with slint and papa m. also an excellent musician. at the moment, i dont recall which guitarist it was, but after hearing gish(SP first album 1991) he contacted billy corgan and told him that if the pumpkins split up, he would love to do a project with him. they did.
It's too bad they broke up though... I really liked their music...
fear not. as ive told many people already, corgan split the pumpkins so he could re-form them. it will be the same band as the pumpkins, with the same members as the pumpkins. they are going to be called "glass and the machines of god". its all part of a multi-album story line in their albums that the pumpkins are living out. yay!
For some reason, my father has been running around for two weeks trying to buy that album. No, it didn't come out in Australia earlier or anything, and yes, he was aware of that. Explanations would be welcomed...
he's a nut. (in a good way.) let him get it. its awesome.

im sure some of you have seen the album commercial that has been playing for this debuting band. my brother(APEMAN), our cousin(vaca_diablo), and i have seen it several times and were like, "we need to check these guys out." right now, i am currently doing just that. if youve seen the album commercial, the song that is being played is "diamonds and guns". i believe the transplants first single is going to be "tall cans in the air". that should give you something to check out. bio-i found out (i feel like a friggin reporter) that the transplants were started by tim armstrong(rancid) and rob aston. they later picked up travis barker(aquabats, blink182, boxcar racer) to drum for them in the place of the beat machine they were using. they sound kind of punk and kind of mellow at the same time with a little bit of hip hop feel (not necessarily the sound, but the feel). its definitely music to be played while driving around. it grooves. as of now, i recommend them. tell me what you think or if you know anything about them. whatever. *edited for (sp)
I usually stick to Mtv, but there's way too many shows in between... = \
the sad thing is, the videos are between shows, not the other way. i was so happy when mtv2 aired. we were all like, "wow! a channel that plays videos all the time... wait doesnt this seem familiar?" now mtv2 is playing shows, too. just wait. its going to end up just like mtv. channel+all shows-all videos=suck.

hmm... *cracks knuckles and rubs scruffy chin* having a child is a very serious matter. if your guy does, in fact, have a child, you, of all people, should know. if he would be one to hide something like that, im not sure if seeing him is the best thing for you to be doing. on the other hand, if your relationship is as open and honest as you make it out to be, then you should have nothing to fear. if he is completely honest and open with you, you should dismiss it without a second thought. trust is very important. now, he could be hiding his parental status to avoid scaring you away. but for a parent to be that ashamed of their own child... i think you need to just ask him. if he does, youll know. if not, then you can just laugh it off, i guess. *im not sure if ive helped but hopefully ive given you something to think about.

i think its interesting that nobody has mentioned Cable. i think he's tied with wolverine as my favorite. three words- gun carrying psychopath. at the start of this thread, i thought you meant x-men x-men and not spin-off series x-men.
-
RAARGH... HULK SMASH PUNY DISCUSSION! just kidding... i hope they did well in creating the hulk. ive been proud with the way many comic to movie translations have occred lately, i.e. the x-men, spiderman, etc. im sure the filmmakers will do justice to our big green hero. if not... fans get mad! fans smash! also, keep an eye out for the daredevil movie (ben affleck or matt damon. i dont remember, but i think its matt damon.). ill edit when i find out which one it is.
I know Tupac is a creative guy and all, but how do you make 7-10 CDs worth of unreleased material, after all, how long does it take to actually make a full CD? You have to write the songs, record the music, get it down with several tries, release it, tour, etc?
im sure it was a misunderstanding. it must be 7-10 more tracks, not albums. like you said, there's no way.

her story was always to complicated for me to follow. then she died and came back as some kind of ninja or something...? what was that crap? wolverine was kind of like a cowboy. all gruff and antisocial, sarcastic and rebelious... you know? and he stood on a counter-top to be face to face with the juggernaut to make that threat. he must have nuts the size of bowling balls! and, yes, cyclops was a jackass and i never liked him.
-
i used to be huge into the x-men, before the cartoons, before the "new generations", etc. the uncanny x-men. i like gambit, but he cant touch wolverine. i always liked wolverine but one day i saw a picture of him and the juggernaut that sealed his title as the absolute coolest x-man. here is that picture.
you think middle schools are bad, then u dont want to see my high school. girls go thrue men like toliet paper up there, its insanity.
if thats the case, then i can only hope you stay clear. you wouldnt want to end up like some toilet paper. girls just cause trouble, but theyre a habit i cant kick.
