What Does Patriotic mean to you? This was an essay contest last school year, and i was wondering what you people thought, people are getting tired of the topics aboutt the same thing, so here is the question.

[/B][/QUOTE] ok, thats a different story, what i'm trying to say is, we shouldn't go off and fight some country, when they haven't even declared war yet. if the country is attacking us still, and will not stop, then course of action must take place. but we should try to get through there heads through peace first, and fix the problem. a world without wars would be nice.

[/B][/QUOTE] ok, first of all, Gundum WIng is a T.V. show, a cartoon, anime, not real life. and also million of years into the future if we ever get there. I read somewhere, probably the bible, That the world is not YET perfect. But one day it will. I do care for my country, and what happens to it. I washaving all mixed feelings when i found out about the bombing, i felt like i needed to be somewhere, and not at school. Revenge is stupid when we are trying to make peace in this world. We should not go and bomb whoever bombed us. We SHOULD do something about it, yes, but not start a war. We need to find out why they took this course of action and make sure it doesn't happen again. Have you all heard the saying "Forgive and forget"? well, we certainly can't forget, but we can forgive, it might take a while, but we can do it.

I'm sorry, i can not take this poll, because i would do both. I would serve my country for everything it needs. EXCEPT in a war. Yes we should do something about this, but it is pointless to start a war. More pain and death will come of it. More families will die and/or mourn. more suffering will be caused.The innocent will die. Is that what you want? do you want to help cause this choas? It's all pointless! Especially when other countries can wipe america clean of the map! Especially when the world has weapons strong enough to destroy it! Pretty soon you'll be seeing Mobile suit wars that will never end because of mindless power hungry people!

We have all heard the tragicness, anime girl, I'm sorry for your loses, and i'm saorry for all those who have lost loved ones. But lets not get carried away here, yes, a war could possibly happen. and the USA will deffinatly take care of it. but look at the weapons we have today? with just two bombs the whole earth can be destroyed, in just one bombing we....i mean the US can be wiped off the Earth. I hope all of you don't want to do something as foolish as start a war.

Mrs. G, she was my gym teacher, that was really nothing, but she gave us lessons on life, and how it is, and how to deal with difficult problems. Shequit though, cuz some parents had issues with her.:( she was my gym teacher from kindergarden to 6th grade, boy that was long long ago.
