I like all those photoshop filters cus they give such cool effects, but I never get how I should use them well enough to make them look good XD

yay :D oh and about the request thing... I didn't say I won't do requests, I just said I don't like to do requests because I don't really have time and I don't like to draw things that aren't mine, (ie. request of a fanart. you have to be a fan to draw fanart right? I don't like that.) I did this one because Kaisuke gave me a lot of room to improvise, which I liked :D

XD I have made a mistake when I decided to draw her from the front... I have never drawn any good legs before... okie that sounds wrong, but ANYWHO, yes, I will try using the ruler against the tablet thing. I used line tool once, but it seemed too straight for the rest of the lineart, so i didn't use that version of the lineart =_=... my friend just remarked that my ppl have fat legs, sort of. I used to draw gat ppl, then anorexic ppl, now I changed my style and it became too fat again.

uh, this one took about 8 hours? I am slow at this, other ppl draws a lot faster, maybe it's because I chat and go online at the same time -_- But this one is one of the lesser-effort-demanding pics, cus a lot others has more textures than just white shirt and white pants XD

his face looks a bit too triangular XD try to give it more .. um.. shape other than flat :3. I think it looks cool.

[img]http://images.deviantart.com/large/indyart/anime/-_a_friend_of_a_friend_of_mine.jpg[/img] This is a pathetic anime portrait of a friend of a friend of mine, based on vague memory. drawing a picture completely slanted feels funny and it leads to dreadful mis-proportions. it took me a while to draw the light in the back based on reference (cus I don't know how to draw it without making it look like clouds). The frames look skrewed, but without the frames it will look blank XD. I think it's okay looking. Oh yes, his eyes are distorted too, but i forgot to fix them in the end -.- comments/crits?

XD I used normal clicky pencils that ppl use to write homework or w/e. professional H or B pencils are too expensive and hard to use ._.

I just love her costume and the manga as a whole cus it's so hilarious and cool. I am not that good at drawing effects like light or wind or something, but I tried o_o it looks like sheets of paper jetting around XD;;... Her body is off o_o. I liked the pose, but the fact that I have to draw it from in front annoys me. I can't draw ppl from the front cus the face will be unbalanced, like this one, although I can't see how unbalanced it is without flipping it around. As you can see, this is pencil shading. I like it when i can do details, but i hate it when i have to shade a huge area that has no texture, like her cloak =_= The Chinese writing is the spell for Dragon Slave(slay?), since it's the only language I know it in. I would have typed it in if i can type chinese on my comp, since my writing is so ugly. Yeah I used to cel-shade, now I find smooth shading much more fun and effective. (professional looking o_o cus I can't really do cel very well XD if you go to my website, you can see I only started to smooth shade from june) And semjaza, I have a wacom tablet. I love her design, even though I ruined it for her. It is an amazement to myself, even, that I finished it in one afternoon, with it being a smooth shading project. I tried her way of shading hair, but I failed. I need to find another way to make it look less weird ._. And, my unoriginality in background came back. i don't like june o_o its weather stinks. but I am glad that the sunlights actually looked like sunlights, not blobs of weird looking glowing bugs.

oh, I used lasso to select and fill the area, then use brush to do all the shadows. I used one fo the dry media brushes to do the leaves,and the rest of the shading is all done by the fading-looking brush. So OAE is a group or something? What do they do?
