You don't read the announcements, do you? We had a couple different skins, but they were taken down due to bugs in the system and the fact that they won't work on the next version. James said that he will replace this skin with a "shiney new 6.5 one" sooner or later.

Tom Bombadil is the first, and he will be the last. He was there before the trees, before the rocks, before the sky. He watched the world grow from its infancy. He has power over things through song, and the One Ring has no power over him. I know that's not the exact quote, but I guess you get the idea that he is one of a kind, all though the woman who lives with him (who's name I can't remember) might be the same as he.

They took too much leeway, in my opinion. They took out too many characters that I absolutely loved, and added nearly twenty minutes of junk that never should have been assosiated with Tolkein. (For anyone that doesn't know what I'm talking about, it's that piece of filth romantic scene between Aragorn and Arwyn. Blasted directers and their artistic freedom.) I understand that it is humanly impossible to incorporate every single thing of the book into the movie; I never would have sat through a movie that had an entire hour dedicated to Hobbit mannerisms. I wish they had left the Barrow-downs scene in, but I guess they couldn't since they took out Bombadil, the jerks. Bombadil is one of my favorite characters.

The day I stop liking Power Rangers is the day I die. that show has been a major part of my life for the past ten years. I owe them countless hours of entertainment. It's something from my childhood I just can't let go. I don't care if something is corny, corn is good when used right. I love Power Rangers because it captures an innocence. Not everything I watch needs to be all violent, dark, or "mature" for me to like it. Sometimes we all need just a large dose of just some goofing around. For everyone that says Power Rangers has lost it's charm, I dare you to watch Forever Red. I dare you. If you ever appreciated it's charm in the first place, you'll realize they can still pull it out and dust it off when they want to. Yes, they did use a lion before. Once. The Black Lion, of the Thunder Zord. Yeah, there was a red one in Wild Force, but I don't really count that, seeing as there were 100 freaking zords. You'd run out of ideas too. Yes, a falcon has been used, once again with Wild Force. Tigaman and Masked Rider are not ripoffs of Power Rangers. I believe that both of those series started before the original Super Sentai aired in 1975. And no, they aren't a rip-off of each other. Is Die Hard a rip-off of Lethal Weapon? No! Because they are two movies in the same genre. Following the train of thought being used in this thread, every action film ever made is a rip-off of every other action film ever made. Also, the very first toketsu (the name of this particular genre) was Godzilla, so wouldn't all toketsu films just be a rip-off of it? And Big Bad BeetleBorgs was made by the same people as Power Rangers! How can they rip themselves off? I'd also like to know why, just becasue they use a Guinea pig, is it a rip-off of Hamtaro? How many shows have had either a hamster or a Guinea pig in some shape or form? Would any of you let a show that was still profitable die? Yeah, there are the rare few of you who would choose art over money? I know of only one person in this thread who would do it hands down, I think. The rest of you I have serious doubts about. I know I don't think I could do it. Money is a very tempting thing. At Wild Force, Power Rangers had made over 6 billion dollars worldwide, and it was (last I heard) the most succesful children's show ever. And VR Troopers was awesome. I'm also surprised how few people have mentioned the SuperHuman Samurai Cyber Squad. *sings both the theme songs*
Originally posted by Hells Fire Whoa that old; I forgot what it was about. Was it the man with scissor hands or the green man who stole christmas. Just kidding it the movie like monesters inc just older right. From what I remember i liked it.
It is nothing like Monsters, Inc., aside from the fact that they both involve monsters. I absolutely love this movie. I'm glad that there are so many people who realize how good it is; almost everyone I know hates it. :/ But really, anything with Paul Reubens in it is gold. ^_^
Originally posted by ssjBrolli yah hook was. I wonder which movie Randel didn't like that the black guy made (couldn't figure out his name)
Spike Lee. Personally, I've never been able to sit through an of his movies (at least the ones I know that he made. I think he might have made some that I liked but didn't realize that he made it. *shrug*). Can't name them, though.

Hmph. I don't know what they were talking about, Hook was a great movie. I now want this DVD. I love anything involving Kevin Smith. I can still watch Dogma and laugh, heh.
Originally posted by TriGunMaSta68 i feel that Square didnt do good on was FF9. Besides that, i cant think of one other.
Never played FF8, did you? Eh, I really don't have enough of an opinion on either company... The only Square games I've ever played are the FF and Chrono series, besides Kingdom Hearts of course but I see that more as a Disney game. I have never played an Enix game. But personally, I don't really see how a merger of two big-name game companies could ever hurt the other; in fact, I'd imagine that it would at least make one of the better, if not both.

Websters dictionary defines my real name as "A weapon with a long shaft and sharp steel head, carried by light cavalry." And a nerd is a person who prefers books to people, and and Nerdsy is basically just a proper noun version.

Unfortunately, I have. My friend is obsessed with them, and sings their songs quite a bit. It unerves me to no end. To be honest, I think they're talentless hacks who can't sing. They were good wreslters, though. :)
Originally posted by DigiFan COOL!!!! Im not the only PR fan around here. I have been watching Power Rangers sense MMPR first came out. I have one question am I the only one here 17 or older?
Nope. I'm not, but I'm pretty sure Manic is. Devidramon (who seems to have disappeared) is definately older too. I'm a little curious about what everyone thinks of the past few episodes. Personally, I'm a little dissapointed. All the episodes after "Samurai's Journy Part 2" have been seriously lacking in action and plot. The humor has really picked up, though. Cam trying giving Tori acne face wash was brilliant. ^_^ Personally, I really don't like Lothor. He's not intimidating at all. He's too comical. I mean, a comical villain isn't that bad. Rita and Zedd were silly at times, but when they attacked the rangers, they sure dropped that quick. Heh, I remember wanting to cry when I first saw Zedd. ^_^ I mean, if they want comical villains, then Lt. Choobo, Mahri and Kapri (sp?) are more then enough. And put Zurgane in action for Lerigot's sakes, we need another Goldar or Ecliptor.

Kudos in advance to all of you who won't put looks in your description, and shame on all you who have all ready posted. Us acne-ridden geeky types with plain hair need love too! At first, I thought that date meant an event, not a person, so I had this good answer all thought up, so I'll use both. First of all, my idea of a perfect date is a good movie that we both like, then talk about it and other interesting things over a pizza. Then, we go somewhere to play video games for an hour or two. My ideal date would have to have a good sense of humor. I mean, I don't want her to laugh at every joke I make (I hate being patronized), I don't care if she even thinks I'm funny at all. I just want her to make a joke every once in a while. I also want her to have similar interests as me. I don't want to go off on a rant about who would win between Aquaman and any one of the Wonder Twins on a mountainous terrain, I don't want her to stare at me blankly. I want her to know what I'm talking about, and actually be able to bring up some counterpoints. Intelligence is a must. However, if she's dating me, then she must be smart. ;P

You can.
To get Anima, simply revisit all the temples, and get all the chests by getting the destruction Spheres. You don't have to go back to Bevelle, since you should have all ready got it. After you've been to every temple except the Zanarkand temple, then find the Baaj temple on search on you map. Visit there, beat the giant Fish (wear some Stone-Proof armor) and activate the 5 statues there. Leave, and then go to Zanarkand, and get the chest there. Then, go back to the Baaj temple, and activate all the statues, and you've got it.
I'll leave the Magus sisters to someone else, as I dont' remember all of it. EDIT: I started to post this before Zeh posted, but I was distracted, so it took a very long time to post. ^_^
Originally posted by Omar Harris Why does everyone think Kelly would have been a good GSR? I mean, she has no development going for her and is pretty much nothing more than just another "Ernie". Can she even fight?
Billy couldn't fight at first, either. ;) I wanted to see Kelly be the sixth ranger mostly because I want to see a female sixth ranger. And I think that the lack of development on her chracter doesn't hurt her at all. In fact, I think it works for her. It could have a lot of possibilities. Plus, the only character development Tommy had was that he could fight really well, and look how he ended up.
Originally posted by Manic Yeah, I read about that at Ranger Board a couple days ago. I was hyped up when I heard Tommy would be coming back,
YES! YES! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES! *dances around like a drunk monkey*
but now I don't even think I'll watch, since Jason David Frank isn't returning to the role. And really now, the dinosaur thing has been done.
... excuse me while I break something. I don't really like Cam being a Ranger for some reason. I like him and all, but he just doens't scream "ranger" to me. I think his place is in NinjaOPS, but I guess they could have done worse. Personally, I think that the owner of the Bike shop that Dustin works at (I can't really remember her name) would have made a good ranger, despite her acting skills. I've always wanted to see a female sixth ranger. So far, I'm really liking everything else in Ninja Storm. I felt that the Thunder Rangers turned a little too quickly, though. It's much better then the past 3 seasons, though.

Hmph. At my school, I have to pay for prom or I don't graduate, whether I go or not. So basically I'm paying for something I'm not even going to attend. Techinacally, though, I'm paying for prom and graduation, but half of the money should still be in my pocket. Well, my mom's pocket actually. ^_^''' I'm not sure if this is the way in other schools, but mine has every person pay "class dues", and that money goes to paying for prom and graduation. We need $9,000, and we have $4,000. If we individually do not pay, they won't give us our diploma until we do. *rolls eyes* Personally, I think that prom and graduation should be handle seperately, because I have no intentions of going to prom.

Heh, I've never kissed. My anti-girl forcefield is too strong. See, I'm the guy that girls vomit at the thought of kissing me. ^_^ Plus I'm a complete klutz around girls, and I would not know what to do.

I loved Sliders. I used to watch it all the time, even though the later episodes were kind of lack-luster. After Quin left the show, I stopped being interested. Truth be told, though, i didn't realize at first that Quin actually left. That entire episode confused the heck out of me. Same thing with Wayde, I have no clue what happened to her. At least with Arturro it was simple: He got shot.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Some people are confused... The original limit was 8 lines. Which is plenty long enough for most things. I agree about raising the limit to 10 or so myself.
Actually, I believe Transtic was talking about the original sig limit made during the UBB. That was 10 lines. ^_^ I would love a sig limit. Some of these sigs are really getting to me. And yes, this post served no use to anyone. >.>

Well, a System File is a thing where you can veiw extras from the game, like Cinemas, Music, or a Beastiary. Something like that. EDIT: Oh, yeah, and you get it after you beat the game.

I have a few more questions about FF1. Nothing to big, you pretty much answered most of the questions I would have in your first post. Is there a System File, like they had in FF6 and Chrono Trigger, in either FF1 ir FF2? Are either games two player? I think I had another question, but I don't remember it.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel I'm surprised no one else really cares lol.
Well, what exactly is there to say? :P I'm really only curious about the small story that pops up at the beginning of FFI, when you first cross the bridge. Is it possible to skip that in Origins? I always found that annoying.
Originally posted by Yu Law um....is Tommy still on there....haven't watchedsince 5th grade.....isn't he like 31 now?
29. ;) He was born on September 4, 1973. And no, he isn't on the show anymore. He left on "Passing the Torch", an episode of Turbo (like I said, the main reason I despise Turbo). He did make a guest appearance on "Forever Red", and episode of Wild Force, though. But that's a given. What's a Red Ranger reunion without the greatest ranger of all time? Nothing, that's what.
