Alright school trips eh? Well none of the school trips i've been on really stick out in my mind. On the other hand I was going to go to Toranto with the school band. We had been planning a trip there for over a year. We paid around $515 each and we were all excited about going. When it came time to go there were a lot of people in Toranto with SARS (well like 100...not really a big risk and I still would have gone). The band director decided that we shouldn't go. This angered me though because now we can't get all of our money back. We should be getting a check for half the money sometime soon though so I guess it's better than nothing:rolleyes:.

Did anyone here buy this album? For those of you who don't know HTTT is Radiohead's new album. It was leaked onto the internet a while ago and a lot of my friends downloaded it...I didn't download it I swear ;) ....but yeah I was wondering if you have it how you like it. I was going to get it later today when I go out with some friends.

Alright well something kind of amusing happened today at school so i'll post it here. It all started this morning when my friend Alan kicked my friend Tom in the balls because Tom threw a shoe at him and he turned around just in time for it to hit his face even though Tom was trying to hit him in the back. So at lunch today Tom bought an extra Poweraid and asked Alan to go buy him a cookie. So while Alan was buying him a cookie Tom poured the poweraid into Alan's backpack turning all of Alan's stuff orange. I guess you kind of had to be there, but I found this to be pretty funny.

Well I guess the first anime that I saw was Pokemon. At the time I think I was in 7th grade, yet I didn't really know what anime was. When I was in 9th grade I went over to a friends house and I saw Akira follwed by Ghost in the Shell on the same night. It's kind of weird because actually that night I didn't enjoy watching it at all. Then about two months rolled by and all of a sudden I had a huge urge to watch Akira again. I called up my friend and asked him to bring it over to my house so we could watch it. After watching Akira for the second time I was hooked. The same friend bet me to jump into some stream (probably sewage run off...) for $80. With part of that money I went and bought Akira so I could own my own copy! Hmm come to think about it he gave me money to buy the manga too on one of his "I'm rich here's some money" days.

Oh man I really hate cell phones. My family has 2 of them that we share. When I go somewhere with my friends I take it with me just so I can call my parents and let them know when i'm comming home. But there are plenty of kids at my school that bring them from class to class. There not even allowed in my school but rarly does a day go by where I don't hear someone's cell phone start ringing. As for having one ring while I was watching a movie, luckly that hasn't happened to me. Then again I don't go to very many movies. The last one I went to was "The Matrix Reloaded" (which was fairly recent) and the one before that was Bowling for Columbine (quite some time ago).

Well i'm just about to go to bed so I thought I might as well ask. Personally I like to read, and then lay on my side with my eyes closed until I fall asleep. I might turn on the tv and listen to it a bit while i'm in bed. If i'm having a hard time sleeping then i'll just try not to move and think about a place that i've been.

It looks like it's going to be pretty good to me. I really didn't care for Castlevania on the N64 but the recent titles on the GBA were pretty fun. I heard somewhere that one of the guys involved with the GBA games was working on this one. Hopefully that means something good.

Well I don't remember playing for the first time but i've been told it was Super Mario Brothers. I aparantly died within a few seconds...hmm but I got better at video games eventually.

Well I have 2 more years before i'm 18 and I don't really see what the big deal is. Sure it'll be nice to officially be an adult but not a lot will change. But what I am looking forward to is going off to college and living on my own. I might take a year off before I go but whatever I do i'm sure i'll have fun.

Well when I was in 8th grade every day someone would throw something new out the window. The teacher wouldn't even notice. I think the keyboard and mouse for the class computer even went out the window...yeah we had a pretty bad teacher. Then that same year I saw two heaters break (or have something happen to them rather) because of kids sticking stuff into them. One of them made a really loud noise like a chainsaw because someone stuck a pencil into it. I was on the floor laughing so I wasn't the one to take the pencil out. I had a yard stick fight that year as well, and I got more detentions than any year combined. Ahh...I could go on about good ol' 8th grade but 1st of all I can't really remember everything and 2nd even if I could there's too much to tell.

Yeah I type ";o;" and "kik" instead of "lol" a lot. Then a lot of the times that I type something with an apostrophe (sp?) I press enter...and if i'm in AIM this means that whoever i'm talking to gets to see an incomplete sentence.

Hmm to be honest I don't really like the idea. I enjoyed playing OOT in 3D. But the way I see it 3D games just aren't ment for 2D, and that's why they were 3D in the first place.

All they really do is make sure people are following the rules. So really wouldn't the question be are the rules too strict? I would say no, because there are plenty of forums out there with less rules that are just filled up with spam.

Yeah I kind of know what you mean. It seems to me like last year I was very happy. This year i'm not very happy, but at the same time i'm not sad either. I assume these feelings will pass and soon I will enjoy things a lot more. In my case I think it was mainly just due to a hard year, and not getting along with people as well as I did last year.

To me the scariest death would be to have someone chop all of your limbs off and let you bleed to death. Or if they did that but then healed the wounds with a blow torch and put what's left of your body (while your still alive) inside a dark place and let you starve. Sorry if that was a bit morbid...

Alright, now probably not very many of you have heard of Mr Bungle but if you have what do you think of them? I love their first album because of all the crazy circus music. Whenever I let someone listen to a song from their first album they usually say they were disturbed, or just scared by it. To those of you who havn't heard of Mr Bungle it's one of Mike Patton's bands. He was in Faith No More, and a few other bands.

I think that there are certian people that will get along very well with each other. There are probably plenty of people in this world for everyone. What i'm getting at is I think that everyone has more than one person that they would feel completed them. So no I don't believe that there is ONE perfect person out there for everyone, but I think there is at least one type of person that you would get along with very well.
-
Well I guess it depends on who it is. If it's a teacher or something and I don't really like them when I first see them I probably wont like them that much for a while at least. But if it's someone say a classmate and you have to work with them every day it wouldn't be as important because I would get to know them as a person pretty soon.

My favorite game for the N64 was Goldeneye because of all of the multiplayer action I got out of it with my friends. It was also a fun game to hack with the gameshark (which i didn't actually own my friend just brought it over every once in a while). But my second favorite was Zelda Ocarina of Time because of all of the fun I had playing it. It reminded me very much of some of the older zelda games. I thought this was one of the few games that went from 2D to 3D good especially since I thought Castlevania 64 was awful.
Originally posted by keyblade I like someof my teachers, but my language arts teacher didnt teach us anything at all all year long! I am dead serious! We spent class time playing card games sucha s BS. I liked my math teacher though, b/c she told us funny stories and gave us candy and stuff...she was nice too. But i like teachers that you can make fun of with your friends b/c of their weirdness/meaness/dorkyness/randomness. I have had three teachers like that so far, and i hope i get more of them, b/c i usually learn the most from them!
Hmm you like weird teachers? Well my biology teacher is a midget and I make fun of her plenty with my friends. She's also quite weird for many reasons. I always picture her comming out of a cabinet or a small box and laughing or something...yeah but that's just me

Do we know what we have until it's gone??
XeEmO replied to Baron Samedi's topic in General Discussion
Well I try not to but I definatly do. It seems like I don't do it as much right after I recover from something bad. For example when I got my cast off after breaking my leg I was greatful that I didn't still have it on. -
Hmm well not having been here long I can't say I would move to an OB country. However if someone gave me food and let me play video games/watch anime all day...well then I would move there in a second.

Yeah I saw this guy on tech tv. I think the scary thing is he believes that his product works. :whoops:

Well i'm 16 and I watch a lot of those as well. Some kid in my study hall last year watched blues clues...which kind of angered me because she would turn it on in class. At least I find most of the shows you mentioned entertaining.
