1. "Marsha Marsha Marsha!"...(don't ask...that's just the first thing I thought of when I read your post) Yeah, like Sara said, you're just one of the lucky ones. It sucks when certain things always seem to turn out wrong.

Adhd

I aparantly have a small case of ADD. It hasn't really effected me much since 6th grade. I'm going into 11th grade next year and I don't even take medication anymore. To be honest, I don't see any proof ADD exists, but that could just be because I have/had it.
3. Well I watch Futurama when it's on Adult Swim. I haven't seen very many episodes, so it's a nice alternative to watching The Simpsons. I really think The Simpsons just went down the drain. All of the new episodes suck.
4. The Ring kind of freaked me out. Then again, it seems like I'm afraid more of black and white silent videos. Especially when they involve something creepy(i.e. Charlie Chaplin...thank god that movie had nothing to do with him.). None of the japanese versions of The Ring scared me.
5. I don't recall being hurt badly emotionally. The greatest physical pain however, was when I broke my foot in 6 places. I was running in the house and I came along a step that separated the kitchen from our living room. I jumped into the living room (I didn't have any shoes on) and I landed on my dog's bone. It wasn't a real bone, but it was a really hard plastic bone (harder than a real one).
6. I could easily just find another forum, so I'm not that worried. I haven't even been here for a year yet, so i'm not very attached.
7. I don't remember the first time I used the internet, because it was so long ago. I think it was at school in 4th grade, or possibly sometime before that at my cousin's house. I got the internet at my house in 6th grade. I started chatting with my friends on Yahoo Messenger (I think it was called Yahoo Pager back then) and I made a few online friends. I eventually got AIM and forgot about Yahoo Messenger. About two years ago I started making websites instead of just chatting with people. I found absolutegb.com about two years ago as well(or possibly before), and signed up for OB last year. I'm still addicted to the internet. Hopefully there will only be new things to be addicted to (on the internet) in the future.
8. I don't think anyone's talked about this recently, if at all, so please forgive me if there's already a thread about this. I was wondering what your favorite 3D Zelda game was. Personally I like OOT. It was the first 3D Zelda game and for some reason, it feels more like the original 2D Zelda games than MM or WW(well it feels that way to me anyway).
9. I know exactly what you mean. I just haven't had anything happen to me that effected me a great deal emotionally. I mean I've obviously been upset before, but I'm not bothered by things that already happened.
10. They're cheap to make and lots of people watch them. I don't like them, you obviously don't like them, but that's not going to stop the millions that do. I didn't even watch the first Survivor because I thought it was boring. The only reality show I watched was Boot Camp.
11. I've had a lot of flashbacks, but never one that caused pain. Usually when I go to a place I haven't been for a long time I start to get flashbacks. They usually just have to do with pointless memories. Then again, I've never really had a horrible experience, or one that greatly effected me to this day.
12. I was reading the Dream Theater thread a while back and Semjaza said this band sounded similar to Dream Theater(edit: Actually he told the person who started that Dream Theater thread to check them out.) I was a fan of Dream Theater for a while, but I never heard of this band. I decided to check it out today. I got to the record store and listened to it a little bit. Some of it kind of reminded me of Frank Zappa's later stuff. I liked it a lot actually, so I decided to buy the CD. I might even buy Liquid Tension Experiment 2 next week. I was wondering what everyone here thinks of them. Have you even heard of them? Edit: I had to add that I thought the song "Three Minute Warning" was incredible. I can't describe it. It was just very weird, but good at the same time. Another Edit: I was tired when I wrote this and I left out the fact that it's a Dream Theater side project. Just thought I would add that in.
13. There are a lot of groups in my school that aren't sterotyped at all. But those groups consist of geeks (that's what I would consider myself to be), jocks, preps, the inbetweens, and the all around popular people. There are a few of the sterotypes in each group of people.
14. In the last thread I said that Pokemon was the first anime I ever saw. I was thinking about it, and the first anime I ever watched was actually Transformers. I don't remember if I was watching recordings of it or if it was still on tv when I watched it.
15.
Originally posted by Taylor Hewitt I wouldn't be 100% sure if this was true or not I rarely go to mcdonalds and right now I'm sorta on a diet so... But I think it's just an easy way for a guy to get rich. Remember the coffee incident?
Well, that's something I would have to agree with you on. People will do anything for money these days. If they have a chance of making money, they will go for it. The fact that he's probably not the smartest guy around wouldn't hurt either. I mean it doesn't take a genius to realise he's going to/he already did loose the case.
16. I agree with most people here. When you get older you should need to retake your drivers test every year or so. I also think that once you've reached a certain age, you shouldn't be able to drive period. You wouldn't want to risk something like this happening again. I mean for all you know this guy could have passed his drivers test. He was just old and confused.
17.
Originally posted by Randleman We live in the same messed up world were people give kids candy on halloween that has been tampered with. It's sad really.
Actually, don't they say in Bowling for Columbine that there hasn't been a case of that where the person giving the candy out wasn't related to the kid? I don't know exacly what they said, because it's been a while since I saw the movie, but does anyone else remember that? But back on topic. I don't see where anyone would get the idea to put a gun into a teddy bear.
18. I've been playing the alto sax for 6 years. I still enjoy playing it very much. So I'd have to recommend the soprano sax (if you want something small). One of the cool things about playing the sax is you can move to tenor, baritone, alto, or soprano, and use the same fingerings. I guessing you're getting an instrument to learn for the school band?

godhead

My friend showed me their cover of Eleanor Rigby and some other stuff on the same album (I don't remember which album it was). From what I heard though I thought they were pretty good. I didn't even know they were on the Blair Witch 2 soundtrack, but I hated that movie anyway. I might try to dig up some money and get one of their albums used later. I've been looking for some new bands to check out. If I do go looking for one of their albums, which one would you recommend?
20.
Originally posted by Ryan Was the camping show "Salute your Shorts"?
It sure was. Does anyone remember that episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark where there was that old guy in the grave yard? I remember laughing hysterically at the line "Give me back my harmonica", because it was so ridiculous. Does anyone else remember the episode with the apartment building that had a toy store at the top with aliens? If you know the name of them please tell me (ie "The Tale of ____") It's just been driving me insane because I can't remember.
21. I play the guitar a little bit. My brother is much better than I am though. He's been playing every day since he was around 13. He's 21 now, so yeah, you get the idea. He gave me lessons a year or so ago for a few months. Something on my guitar broke though so I haven't played for long periods of time since then.
22. Actually, I was reading a book on Buddhism recently and there was a story about a woman who remembered her past life. She started drawing pictures of this place she apparently used to live. It turned out to be a real place so she went there. She also talked to the person who used to be her son (he was pretty old at that point) and told him about events from a long time ago. Her son from the other life remembered hearing about the events she described as a child. The book said that a lot of other people have similar experiences. I found that kind of interesting whether or not it was true. My beliefs also lean toward reincarnation.
23. I hesitated posting here at first. I have some pretty weird dreams but I don't remember them in great detail. I changed my mind though, because I just woke up from the most bizarre dream I've just about ever had (Well I take that back I?ve had a lot of bizarre dreams, but this was very werid.). I wont go into detail about the whole dream, but I'll focus on the weirdest parts. I was talking to Adam online about beta testing Velegant and he reached his hand out of my monitor and started petting me. When I looked into my monitor I could see my face on the screen (not a reflection but it was in Net Meeting). Then I remember being in a store, but it wasn't just a store, it was a teacher from school's classroom. There was a wall of erasers and the teacher was like "HEH HEH HEH Bob told me one of the walls would be gone and I would have my room divided up". The next thing I can remember I was giving out my AIM screen name to the store clerks. Oh man that's the last time I take an afternoon nap. Edit: Having a dream about talking to someone online and exchanging AIM screen names. Wow, now that's a sign I have to get out of the house more.
24. Well my dog died recently and my mom wanted to get another dog. So she asked my aunt to be on the lookout for boxers in Virginia. My aunt asked the vet and he said he knew of some people with puppies. The dogs will be ready about the time we go up to Virginia this summer. Yesterday my mom was talking about getting an invisible fence for the dog and we got an add in the mail for one today...My aunt is convinced that it's my grandma, but I think she's crazy if she believes that...heh, oh well at least we're getting a new dog.
25. Sometimes I feel as if my whole life is a dream. Nothing seems real to me anymore. I personally am not obsessed with the matrix enough to use it as my religion. Hmm that would be nice if it were real though ^_^ heh heh... Edit: Just don't go jumping off any buildings now, we wouldn't want that.;) I know you're joking btw...
