*sigh of relief* I thought you were going to say South Park was cancelled. As long as they don't have another episode as messed up as the J-Lo one I'll continue to watch. That must suck though...not being able to watch SP.

I heard about it on a website a while ago. I'm sure you can find some info on it if you search google. I was going to go to a private school next year but then it shut down, because it was in a building, and a company bought the building. The school only consisted of like 25 students and they were renting a room in the building. >.< I went to it for a day to check it out, it was pretty interesting. I was basicly treated as if I were a new student. People were showing off and acting up, I assume it was because I was there. I have a whole new respect for anyone who's a new kid in school now.

There are so many posts like this. I agree with most of the people who posted already. I don't think you're old enough to get into anything serious. Edit: This is the 100000th post in this section. I just thought that was neat...*is crazy*

*gets crazy idea* Maybe there should be a sticky about upcoming anime conventions in the Anime Lounge. People may rarely post about such events now, but it would not only give more chances for people to meet up, but it would be a great place to look up conventions. Just a thought... A normal thread would be fine too, but I thought I would get a mod to approve of the idea first.

Well if it was a success there's always a chance of it happening again next year. If you can only go to a convention in MN then probably it would be worth signing up for ahead of time. Oh, and maladjusted, going to a convention alone might still be fun. You could always try to meet new friends. If you participate in the activities you probably will anyway.

Unfortunately I don't have anything to say that hasn't already been said. Yes I do get de-ja-vu, and quite often. Most of the time I *think* I've seen something in a dream before. I do however think it's all in my head. I'm not one who believes in seeing the future.

I hate mosquitoes, but I love bug zappers. ^_^ Yesterday I was taking a walk and I saw a bug zapper (it was late at night so it was stood out pretty well). I couldn't take my eyes off of it and I eventually walked into a parked car. Ahh the sounds of bugs getting zapped are so soothing. We also get black flys up here (I live in Maine). They're little bugs that suck blood (well like mosquitoes). I don't think you get them in the south. Err or at least I haven't seen them (or remember seeing them) in Virginia, and I go there quite a lot to visit family.

Well, the convention I went to consisted of watching Anime, and participating in other geeky activities such as DDR ^_^. You can also get free stuff. When I went I got 2 posters, and a bag of well...lots of free stuff. Hopefully that's everything you need to know.

I borrowed all of my friends DVDs and I've seen every episode of the original. I'm also very impatient, that's why I [u]wanted[/u] to be spoiled. Well that, and since I don't know if it's coming to the US I'd like to know what happens in case it doesn't. Or has it already? (I think you can see it fan subbed but I don't really like watching things on my computer, and that's illegal anyway if I'm not mistaken)

I would have posted this in the Love Hina thread but it is [b][u]NOT[/u][/b] Love Hina. It's another series that came out in Japan. I think it's 3 episodes, but I don't know if you can get it in the US yet. Hopefully it will fill in some gaps on what's happened. Has anyone here seen it? Is it any good? If you've seen it can you fill me in on some of the stuff that happens? (use spoiler tags of course)

I saw someone mention this in the suggestions thread. I'm currently a newbie and I could care less. Titles don't matter at all to me, so I think you should just leave it alone. It would be a big waste of time to change the ranks just because someone is offended by the word newbie. Since when is the word newbie offensive anyway?

The Pete & Pete thread was kind of heading in this direction so I decided to make a thread about it. Do you remember old nick shows? Do you still watch them? What's your favorite(s) (and why)? One reason I decided to post this is because Salute Your Shorts is going to be on Nick Gas in a half an hour. That was one of my favorite shows back when it was on. But my all time favorite show growing up was Rugrats. I hate that show now, but I think I watched it from when I was around 5years old to about 10years old. It was just all around entertaining, and no one told me to turn it off. I also used to like it because it would give me ideas for what I could pretend about (that and muppet babies...come on I was 5...I hope)

That's happened to be quite a few times. I type pretty fast so I didn't even bother putting otakuboards in my favorites. I do however, have it on my quick link toolbar now.

I love to be online alone in my room. I can talk to people, but I don't need to really be there. I can get away from them at any time. I don't spend much time at home doing anything other than being online talking to people. I do watch TV often though, and that can be just as fun if there's something good on.

My favorite actor would probably be Robert Deniro (Tom Hanks comes in 2nd) because of his performance in Taxi Driver. I don't really have a favorite actress, but I guess it would be...uhh. I can't really think of an actress I like. I'm sure there is one just give me some time.

Alright Donkey Lips, maybe we should get back on topic (but I do agree Salute Your Shorts was pretty cool). What's your favorite Pete & Pete episode? I liked "Night Crawlers" the best because it inspired me to stay up 35 hours in a row(so what if they stayed up 9 days on the show, that's impossible). Then I couldn't take it anymore so I went to bed for at least 18 hours...and they say TV doesn't make you want to go out and do stuff.

I'm [I]very[/I] sorry if this is spam, but I have a quick question. I have some money to spend on some DVDs, and I would like to get into Gundam, but I don't know what series to get. What series came first? Is there a specific series I should watch before any other? I assume that the series are connected in some way.

I also saw a banner just now that was 500 pixels high. The user got rid of it but it should have been blocked. I don't know if there's anything you can do about it but I just thought I would post it here. Edit: The sig was 200 pixels high and 400 pixels wide. I was going to post it here as well but I guess you can't post pictures when you're editing.

Intro threads aren't allowed here anymore. I wouldn't usually post in a thread like this either, but how is your banner that big? I don't recall ever seeing one that tall (I don't know how many pixels are allowed in a banner but that just looks too big).

I was never in a real marching band. I play the saxaphone, and once a year the band needs to march in a parade. Next year I've decided I'm not going to be in band. I'm just going to take private lessons. I was in band mainly to hang out with friends. I also enjoyed playing the saxaphone. I just don't like quite a few people in the band, and I especially don't like the way band is going to be run next year. They basicly split the band up into two. One is for all of the good players and one is for everyone else. The conductor says he's not spliting us up by how good we are, yet he had auditions to get into the other band.
