You aren't the only person, and I've had worse..... I work at Papa Johns, and I forget what to put on the pizza. Whats worse is it's during a rush, and my boss gets seriously PO'd at me.....thank god for creditability, or I would've been long gone.

I was only interested if the Cubs or Sox made it to the World Series. But since neither made it, I don't really care anymore. In the words of Jimmy Kimmel: 'The Florida Marlins have about as much history as the Geo Metro', and I can't stand the Yankees. I'll stay neutral now.... GO GIANTS!

Ah yes, the first time you ask the question.....I remember pulling this one for Military Ball my Freshman year..... Luckily I knew the girl pretty well....she's a friend of mine from 8th grade, and one of the first I knew upon moving to this Conformist Hellhole. Best thing I could reccomend is get to know her first. If homecoming is quickly approaching (3 weeks...girls need a while....), talk to her often. Not so much to scare her off, but enough to keep you fresh on her mind. I would also reccommend not asking any later than 3 weeks, 2 if the girl seems to get things done quickly. Don't ask too soon though, you'll seem hasty and impatient. I asked her in August, and the Dance wasn't until November.....luckily, she knew me pretty well though.... Get it done, be yourself, and success will find you

I'm not sure how, but I'm related to General Michael Ryan, the former Air Force Chief of Staff Guess the Air Force is in my Blood....

OOC: Let you guys know now, I may not be able to post....I'm lost, like usual. I like the way my character is going. I'll try to comprehend this and get back on board.

I actually have a few, one of whom is on this board....I basically make contact with people and go from there

Sehphiroth pulls out his Bo, ready to test his new armor. 'Maybe you might want to explain yourself a little more....'
-
O_o.....that was random....anyhow...back to the story.... Sephiroth follows the group into the weapons shop. In desperate need of armor, he decides to seize the opportunity. He buys a breastplate and shin guards before going back over to the group. 'My name is Sephiroth. I've just come back from the War of the Clans....which should explain why I look so tattered. I'm a mercenary, hired out by lords to fight their battles.' 'So how did you hear us over there?' asks the Monk 'I've adapted a unique ability to hear the faintest sounds. My father taught me that. I was abandoned though on my 7th birthday and...' 'Wait...' says the girl that brushed him off earlier 'is that how you know about the necklace and the prophecy?' 'Kind of. I learned about it from fellow mercenaries. They told me the story behind it.'
-
Where do you work? Anyhow, the cashiers here at least make an effort to be nice...I'll give them creds on that.....
-
Back from a recent war, Sephiroth eats his sandwich in peace. He finds irony in sitting around in a bustling city. Not accustomed to this, he gets up and pays the bill before leaving to go back into civilization. He sees the group and walk over quietly to hear whats going on. Keen on the story about the prophecy, he decides to go to the group to listen in on what they are wondering about. A man of few words, he gets right to the point: 'Whats this about the necklace I heard you speaking of?'
-
Well, this is the first time I've done anything like this...so here we go.... Name: Sephiroth (sa-FEAR-oth) Age: 27 Race: Human Weapon: Bo that can split into kin-do sticks, allowing the user to fight with 2 weapons instead of one Personality: Although he is the joker at times, Sephiroth gets serious when the fight comes to him. He is a bit shady, but it comes with his experience as an ex-mercenary Bio: At age 7, he was abandoned by his parents. He fought on his own until a mercenary picked him up one day. He never turned back. Sephiroth gains his humor from the fact that he cannot stand death. Rather than kill his enemies, he disables them. Not much else is known about this character

All I remember from Spirit Week is Camo Day. The one day of the year I could wear BDUs since I was in ROTC....and I ended up wearing Jeans with my dad's Security Forces Jacket. Meh, School Spirit blows

I'm not entirely sure....anyone want to change with me?

I used to like Paz...that's pretty sad. As for the new single, it's awesome. Although the video is slightly mundane, the song itself is great.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel And Mondays do suck. Sunday is the start of the sales paper... and since it is generally the busiest day, you're still making up for it on Monday. Plus people really do return a lot of stuff that day.
Well, pizza places aren't that bad on Mondays. We had 50 orders when I left last night at 9 PM. On a typical day, we'll have somewhere around 170 orders by 8 PM...only then will it 'slow down' Believe me, Mondays aren't bad for me

Although I'm going into the Air Force, I'm enrolled automatically into the Community College of the Air Force. Only AF members, and it's more correspondence courses than anything else, so I can live my life and get an education at the same time

I'm on Magdalena's side here. I've been a cashier at Kroger and a bagger at Tom Thumb. But now that I work at Papa John's....I'll add my on commentary here.... 1) Don't ask me which intersection I'm at: I said it in the introduction (Thank You for calling Papa Johns at Coit and Legacy). It's your own damn fault you have ADD 2) Learn my damn name: You're my boss....you shouldn't have to read my name tag 3) This isn't the Army: Quit screaming in my ear when we're in the middle of a rush. You're not a Drill Sergeant, so I have a tendency to scream back 4) If I ask off, there's a reason: Don't schedule me on days I warned you about 3 weeks before and then blame it on me 5) Have your order ready before you call us: Nothing annoys me more than people that call, hear the special, then tell me to hold on. If you wanted pizza, you should have been ready. If the special doesn't accomedate you , tough luck. 6) I didn't design the order system: So don't complain at me when you're Extra-Large Lardass pizza costs $20. Oh yeah, I do try to get you the best deal. I hate it when I'm screwed over, so don't accuse me of doing it to you. 7) If it's Thin Crust, tell me: Don't order a pizza wanting Thin Crust, not telling me, and then jumping the drivers *** when he gets there. I'm not some type of damn psychic. 8) We're not Pizza Hut or Dominos: If you want a goddamn philly cheesesteak pizza, don't ask me if there's any way we can make one...and don't ask me the number OR the price at a competitor. If I worked there, I wouldn't be here. 9) Little Kids are cute...: BUT DON'T LET THEM ORDER! It took me 15 minutes one time to take an order from a girl no more than 5 years old. The thing that pissed me off was that her parents were telling her the order just quietly enough to not let me hear them.... I'm sure I have more. Bt I've got to get ready for work. Monday's aren't too bad...

Well, here it is... Tired of being what you want me to be Feeling so faithless, lost under the surface Don't know what you're expecting of me Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes [Caught in the undertow, we're just caught in the undertow] Every step that I take is another mistake to you [Caught in the undertow, we're just caught in the undertow] I've become so numb I can't feel you there Become so tired So much more aware I'm becoming this All I want to do Is be more like me And be less like you Can't you see that you're smothering me Holding too tightly, afraid to lose control 'Cause everything that you thought I would be Has fallen apart right in front of you [Caught in the undertow, we're just caught in the undertow] Every step that I take is another mistake to you [Caught in the undertow, we're just caught in the undertow] And every second I waste is more than I can take I've become so numb I can't feel you there Become so tired So much more aware I'm becoming this All I want to do Is be more like me And be less like you And I know I may end up failing too But I know You were just like me With someone disappointed in you I've become so numb I can't feel you there Become so tired So much more aware I'm becoming this All I want to do Is be more like me And be less like you I've become so numb I can't feel you there [Tired of being what you want me to be] I've become so numb I can't feel you there [Tired of being what you want me to be] -Numb by Linkin Park
