1. The first anime TV series that I ever remember watching was Sailor Moon. I didn't even know that it was anime at the time and I didn't find out until years later. I loved it at the time because of its funny situations and the cool powers that the Sailor Scouts had. After Sailor Moon S started airing on Toonami, I decided to pick up some of the uncut videos. I still love Sailor Moon today and I'm still hoping that Stars will be picked up someday. The first OAV that I remember seeing was Tenchi Muyo. I loved the humor and the characters, and later I watched the two TV series. I don't watch a lot of anime movies, but the first one I ever remember seeing was Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz. I hadn't seen much of the TV series, but I understood most of it. I loved the action and the visuals in the movie. 2. I'm with Sere on this one. If a series looks interesting, I'll watch/buy it. I'm very rarely disappointed with any series I watch. 3. I would say that my tastes have definitely matured. I still watch and enjoy stuff like Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon, but I also watch stuff like Vampire Princess Miyu, Witch Hunter Robin, and Utena. I tend to like the darker stuff now... but I still enjoy a bit of light humor every once in a while.

Name: Mana Kurashima Age: 17 Appearance: Mana has green hair with silver streaks and purple eyes. She wears a black halter top with a green glow-in-the-dark O-ring on the collar, green flares with buckles on the bottom cuffs, a green headband with a silver ankh pin, black shoes, green arm warmers with silver ankh pins on them, a black leather belt with a silver buckle, silver ankh earrings, silver knife earrings, a silver ankh necklace, black leather bondage straps, and green straps with silver ankh pins that wrap around her arms. Bio: Mana is a shaman from England. She prefers magic to physical attacks, but is skilled at both. Her parents have been training her to be a shaman since she was very young, and she's become rather strong. Mana heard about the tournament and decided to join to sharpen her skills. Personality: Mana hates it when people aren't honest with her, and she hates when they don't say anything when something bugs him. She is normally cheerful, but if she ever gets angry, you do not want to be around her. She tries to keep the bad things that happened to her in the past out of her mind. She likes to express herself through poetry and music. Mana is rather logical and sensible and has a strong conscience. She has a hard time letting things go, and can be quite serious. Most of the time, however, she's just your normal, goofy teenage girl. Spirit: Sekhmet. She is the spirit of Mana's best friend (Kanuko), who was murdered at age 15. Mana looked up to Kanuko when she was little because she never let the small things bother her and she was always honest about how she felt. When Kanuko died, Mana was devastated. She managed to catch Kanuko before she decided to cross over and Kanuko decided to stay with her. Spirit's Appearance: Sekhmet has silver hair and blue eyes. She wears long black and grey robes with black angel wings attached to the back and carries a silver staff with black wing decorations attached to it and an ankh at the top.

I like Gorillaz. Their music has nice beats and interesting lyrics. Does anyone know if there are any more CDs that are supposed to be released anytime soon?
Originally posted by DeathBug Why's everyone hate "Rock the House", anyway?
I personally liked it because it just seemed so much different from the others on the CD. I also liked the lyrics. ^_^ It was just an overall fun song.

Answer : 46 (according to the dub), although I also read that he was 40 somewhere. Krim asked Bear how old he was. Question : List all the keywords on the back of DVD 3 (Gestalt).

I think it's being released in early/mid-September. It's going to be called .hack//ENEMY. I'm not sure if it's a direct translation of the Japanese CCG, though.

The card game will apparently have you playing the part of both the monsters and player characters, if I understood the explanation I read. Sorry about forgetting .hack//ZERO. I had never even heard of that novel until I stumbled across info on it yesterday after posting this.

Actually, the correct order goes as follows: .hack//A.I. Buster (novel) .hack//SIGN .hack//Infection, Mutation, Outbreak, Quarantine (games) .hack//Liminality .hack//Dusk (takes place 5 years after the games) If you want to get the most out of the experience, I've heard you should play the games while watching SIGN. Liminality takes place around the same time as the games. A.I. Buster doesn't really seem to be necessary to read, though it does provide lots of information about The World, from what I've read about it. I hope this helps.

OtakuSennen : Yeah, I'm talking about Chii from Chobits. AzureWolf : Yeah, Tsukasa's Japanese voice actress does do a better job with screaming.

Anime What would you do with youself if "The World" were real?
Makai Kite replied to Braidless Baka's topic in Otaku Central
I would stay in Cultural City Carmina Gadelica (Lambda Server) most of the time. It's just so pretty there and there would be lots of people to chat, trade, and fight with. ^_^ -
I like both versions pretty much equally. However, for some reason, Sora and Krim's Japanese voices just seem to fit them better. A few of the characters sound almost exactly the same in both versions (Bear, the shopkeeper NPC in episode 1). Does the fact that Rie Tanaka (Chii's Japanese voice actress) voices Morgana creep anyone else out?

Tsukasa, Subaru, Krim, Sora, BT, Mimiru (sidequest), Bear, A-20 (sidequest), and Ginkan appear in Mutation. Everyone except for A-20 appears at least once in the Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground field at least once in flashbacks, and, as stated earlier, Mimiru gives you her sword in a sidequest.

I used to watch that show all the time, but I don't get Noggin, so I haven't seen it in years. It was apparently on Nickelodeon once, but I missed it. Artie (the strongest man... in the world) was the coolest, and I liked little Pete's tattoo, Petunia.

Answer: Tsukasa's hair is brown (well, kind of reddish-brown) IRL. Question: What power of the Wavemaster did BT use in episode 13 (Twilight Eye)?

Actually, Ginkan is what Silver Knight was called in the Japanese version. -

The blob is his Guardian that fights for him, and the series is 26 episodes long. Does that help? ^_^

I really like the group Morning Musume. The girls have really good voices, the lyrics are cute, and the music is nice and upbeat. I also like the uber-cute Morning Musume subgroup Minimoni. The Minimoni songs are like traditional Morning Musume songs on crack. Some other favorite groups of mine include Key-a-Kiss (a eurobeat group) and Dream. I also like the music I've heard from Malice Mizer. It's nice and relaxing to listen to (at least to me) and the lyrics are nice. The individual singer I really like is Ayumi Hamasaki. Her voice is beautiful and her lyrics powerful. Ah, so we *are* including DDR artists. All right, then... Naoki and all of his psuedonyms (Tears is such a beautiful song) Sana (White Lovers and The Shining Polaris are such great songs) Smile.dk (Green, black, and blue make the colors in the sky...) TaQ (I love Era and Holic) DJ Taka (*huggles .59*) DJ Suwami (Is The Cube the only song by this artist?)

Anime (US/CAN) General thoughts and ratings for .hack//SIGN 18, "Declaration"

Rating: 10/10 Well, I figured it was going to happen sooner or later. I also wish that Subaru would have whacked him upside the head with her axe. I wonder how Silver Knight is going to handle being a normal player. He seemed to feel he was above the rules in each and every way just because he was a Crimson Knight. I liked when Mimiru was imitating Silver Knight. I think that was cute. ^_^ In conclusion, even though this episode didn't really advance the plot that much, it earns bonus points because it was really nice to see Subaru cut Silver Knight down to size. -
I do like the character designs (especially Elk and Kite's) and the music is okay, but the camera gets annoying at times. The graphics may not be the best, but the story is what really matters, and that's what really pulled me into the game. BTW- I forgot to mention I've beaten .hack//INFECTION. I'm currently stuck at a tough boss in MUTATION.

The forums I like are the Adventure, .hack//SIGN, Yu Yu Hakusho, Otaku Lounge, and Anime Lounge forums. I like to hang out on the Otaku Lounge to just chill after a long day. It's fun to see people's opinions on all different sorts of anime in the Anime Lounge. In the .hack//SIGN forum, I like to share my theories with others and get to understand the series better myself by reading their theories. I like to read people's opinions on the coolest (well, okay... the only) Spirit Detectives ever in the Yu Yu Hakusho forums. Last but not least, I like to have fun writing out my own adventures in the Adventure forum.

Well, the manga version of Udeden is coming out on September 9. I'm pretty sure that LIMINALITY won't be broadcast on TV. In other news, Decipher, Inc. is going to release a CCG titled .hack//ENEMY in September or October. Hopefully it will be similar to the Japanese version.

Even though I haven't ever spoken with you, I am sorry to hear that you're leaving. I know that you've been here a long time and a lot of people are going to be sad to see you leave. Best wishes.
