This short is just a little something I wrote. I'm still thinking on a title. Ms. Laremo was infuriated. After the hours of tutoring this "degenerate", he still fails the course. "Mr. Patton, I'm not sure if you'll graduate this year. Do your parents know of this situation?" James Patton just stood in front of her idly while his classmates groped at each other to exit the cramped classroom. His overwhelming fear took hold, as Ms. Laremo continued her tyrade. "James, you have the lowest average in the school! This is a disgrace!" The now extremely downtrodden James trudged out of the room without even acknowledging his teacher. "Look, there's James! Pudgy Patton! Hahaha!" The malignant adolescents tossed napsacks and various writing instruments as he slowly trodded down the hall. "Going to the dance tonight, Pudgy? Better not, 'cause the girls won't even want to look at you!" His peers laughed and continued to mock him. "How pathetic.", James said as he pulled open the double glass doors from his school. Mom was going to be very aggravated for him being tardy a third evening in a row. "I'm home!" The back porch slider opened with a thud. "James, honey, your late again. I think it's time somebody lays down the law." Yep, she was mad. James could always tell when he heard the forced, calm, relaxed voice his mother so precisely perfected. "Mom, you know how the teachers are. They're always commanding me to succeed." Mom just shook her head disdainfully at his poor excuse for a lie. "James, I know what has been going on. You have been academically and socially flunking in school. Are your friends giving you a hard time?" It had boiled down to this. James was confronted with telling his mother every detail about his "home away from home." Mrs. Patton took it all in. An hour later, dinner was ready. Mashed potatoes and salisbury steak wasn't exactly what James had in mind for his dinner, but he ate without sharing his two cents. Mother and father discussed what he had so reluctantly told them. The family collaborated on a decision. They wanted their son to attend the Friday night dance in the auditorium. "Look, I'll just stay home. I have alot to accomplish this weekend. Maybe if I stay up late enough, that essay could be out of my hair before tomorrow." "Well it's up to you, of course grades come first." His father sat impatiently, waiting for a response. "Well, maybe I'll go. Just to see how it is." "Okay then. Remember, back before ten o' clock." James nodded, and darted to his room to get ready. Of course he was going out, just not to the school function. He was going to take a little visit to Cosmo's Comics for what he felt was more important. He packed away his allowance, left the house, and began on his journey to the shopping center downtown. Alright, tell me your opinions. Negative ones welcome. I will continue if you like it and want me too. Thanks! :)

I'm gonna' get Fusion definitely. :D I'm hesitating on Prime because I don't like shooters much.

Yeah, as I said I did forget to spell some words correctly Lady Asphyxia. I don't mind being critiqued though, so you can say anything. BTW, this is partially based on an experience I had. (Not the whole ghost aspect, but with my granparents.):)
-
Yeah I didn't bother to go back to spellcheck. lol  Yeah, it's no big deal. :)

Starfox Adventures. Without a doubt. It could've been alot better if they changed the battle system. WAY TOO EASY. Anyways, it's a pretty involved game though once you get into it. :)

Gaming Estimated total amount of time you will spend playing Vice City
TheDarkOtaku replied to severous84's topic in Noosphere
I've already spent 10 hours on it. But RE0 is on my list first, so I'll get back to it. I most likely will spend 20-30 hours on the game, maybe less. -
Well, well. Tech TV gets another plus in my book. It was already the only channel I really paid attention to recently. I can't wait to see what show they broadcast. :)

Here's a short story I wrote: All the Wrong Places Sunday was a day I always dreaded. On it's morn, my flesh would tingle and stomach knot thinking about what lies ahead. The house. It's exterior so innocently gleaming in the sun, while it's interior was filled to the brim with unimaginative horrors. My grandparents always thought it was beautiful, and that they would never get rid of it. This was very comical. Times change, life goes on, and estates age. It was time to do what should've been done so long ago. Wash our hands of it. Every since Nana became deceased 3 years ago,myGrandPapa was never the same. He watched diligently as the clock's hand would move back and forth, making sure he would not miss a moment that went by. It seemed as if he was awaiting the Angel of Death to come upon his soul and drift him away into the abyss we call "heaven." For it was only a matter of time, that something strange should happen. About 2 years passed since the death when I started to notice strange occurences on our weekly visits. The back bedroom, that portruded from the side of the house, always contained a chilly atmosphere as if a being were there. The kitchen lights would turn on and off sparatically even though nobody was controlling the switch. And the most eerie thing of all, was the spirits that Papa would see. These nocturnal sightings only made my folks more aware of his elderness, but I was too skeptical to let this opportunity slide. The last Sunday there was spent rather drearily. Our meal was bought from a local suprette, and "family time" was considered somnently sitting and watching "Rita's Italian Cuisine." I used this time to my advantage. Discreetly, I acted as if I were going to use the toilet across the hall. From there, I darted into the far rooms of the dwelling, my fear and breathing rate grew rapidly. For some reason, it felt as if I was running into an area of unwelcomness. I abrubtly stopped sprinting to catch my breath. The forest-green, plaid walls were only another factor in the mind trip that was already taking place. Shadows crept up on my side, and inimical apparitions reached for my arm. Their cold fingertips touching mine as the ghastly smell corrupted my nostrils. It's acrid punch made me cringe as it ran it's path through my lungs. Had my time come, and was my grandfather right about these rooms? I began to tower down to the dusty, trodden floors beneath my feet. I awoke in a place of gargantuan proportion, who's mystical atmosphere was something beyond what the human imagination can comprehend. Slowly advancing towards me was Papa, who seemed unexpectedly exstatic. I asked about my whereabouts, and what had previously attacked me. The only answer I received was, "You were looking in the all the wrong places for that special something, my boy. One day, when you fully earn your part in this place ,you will understand." Immediately after, my eyes opened from a wrestless sleep. I awoke just to find out Papa had died a few hours before. My mother and father sitting adjacent to me on the hospital bench. My mind was blank, except for the dream which so blatantly played back in my head over and over again. I looked out at my grandfather's lifeless body and almost saw his joyful smile shining back at me. " I'll miss you GrandPapa." I kneeled down and kissed him gently on the cheek. So, any opinions? This is not my best work, but I thought it would be nice to share. :)

Sweetreyes, I agree with you totally. But seriously, these kids need a life other than all the horrible stuff the media feeds 'em. I mean, "gangsta'" is also stereotyping African Americans. I know many people of that culture and are nowhere near 'gangstas'". The media really distorts peoples' images.

What's everyobody's aim name? If you want to talk to me, mine is XxDarkOtakuxX :)

I have it, and I think it's okay. The storyline could be more complex though...

Genkai, put it this way, they're little whitebread freaks who think they are african-american. Not even a fly is scared of them. :)

Your absolutely right TN. :)

Writing The Kobra and Lamb Show: Season 2
TheDarkOtaku replied to Dragon Warrior's topic in Creative Works
That was hillarious! I love the Captain Pajama's idea! LOL! :: is still laughing:: Excellent work! :) -
Yep, I'm in Catholic school too. God bless 'em.... lol :D But with ignoring them, I do, and it stops for about, oh.....10 seconds? Then it goes back to "You ever ******Censored******* before? If not, your a ********BEEP******" just like last time. Anyways, Thanks for the advice, and I feel your pain. Catholic school is hipocritical, and full of human beings with nothing better to do than fill their brain with MTV and sports. And btw, stormwing made this banner for me. I think its really neat too. Thanks for the compliment :)

A must see for me! :D I love these books, although 'Fellowship" wasn't very gripping till' the mid section of the novel. This is much better and improved than the first. Can't wait! :)

I love Hybrid Theory. It's a great mix of many elements of music. Although the lyrics is what captivates me. They are infused with alot of emotion and have symbolic meaning. I admire their writing skills. But I have to admit, Reanimation is just too rap based for my tastes. Oh well, I guess I have to wait for the next album. :)

At school there are a group of guys that all themselves "gangstas". Now, this is just stupid, as we can see, but they're using it to make problems. Just because they like rap, play GTA, wear headbands and North Face jackets, and flip their hair doesn't mean your "gangsta." Now, I'm getting picked on because I like rock, I like to write, and my obsession with anime and manga culture. They obviously don't know what "mind your own business" is. I'm thinking about telling the dean or guidance counselor about them. I am so downtrodden and upset right now from getting called a "loser, fat, nonentity" all day. What do you think I should do ? :(
-
I agree, his polkas are hillarious. I especially love the one from "Running with Scissors". That was really funny too. :D

Yep Cloud, your absolutely right. Where are those monster cards? I think Konami just wants us to buy 16 booster boxes to find 1 good card. Seriously. Maybe since the set is so new, the useful cards haven't been circulating in the retailers enough. I don't know, this is worse than figuring out the Millenium Puzzle. :wigout: Lol

You have a natural talent Mitch. Keep posting stories and I'll definitely read them. :)

The best Zelda game has got to be Ocarina of Time. It's the only game I could think of that I went back to beat 3 times over in a few weeks. Plus, the storyline was great. I could trully say it's a game anybody, whether a newbie or veteran to video games, can enjoy. :)
-
That may be true, but they should include him in some series. He's just too cool to leave out.

I'm a huge Batman fan and I've seen every episode so far, although I think it could be better. I want to see Batman and Robin, not their kids in an alternate reality, but this is all we have until the next movie so I'm content. Still, Huntress should be a more serious character in my opinion. And also, where's Nightwing? He wasn't feauterd in Batman Beyond( if I'm correct, I'm unsure on that) and now in this too. That's strange becuase he is in the future of the Batman comics. Maybe he's in the next movie or another animated series. Well, I guess we just have to wait and see the next installment of the Batman sagas to find out. :)

"The Night Santa Went Crazy" is just too funny. I also play it on Christmas to annoy my cousins and stuff. Of course, they find a way of getting me back by breaking all the presents I receive. :(
