I think this is the best non-Ghibli anime movie I have seen so far. I liked the story, characters, (especially Porta, the real hero) and the cool setting. I guess maybe it is Ghibli like in terms of tone and an overbearing moral lesson being crammed into our heads... but I was happy to have a break...
