i have noticed that alot of bands have been able to make hit songs, but i have only hered that one song from them, like for instance good charlotte I am sure thery have made many albums, and what not, but i have only heard there one song on the radio, it's weird i can think of others but I would have to write it down, to make sure they don't have any other famous songs lol, anyway what's your opinion on this matter

Sometimes it takes a very long time for a group to get mainstream. I think Good Charlotte is a newer band. not sure though. They were probably an indie band before if they did release any albums. One hit wonder bands exist. There were about 8 billion during the 80s.

Sometimes groups go big in other countries before here. Fro example the Backstreet Boys. They were HUGE in Europe years before they became noticed here. Same with Kylie Mingue. She had one release here a while back then was huge in Europe and Australia and now is big here. It really all depends.

The best way to look up songs by an artist or group would be to visit their official website or a fansite that has been around a long time for any discography or information.

I can think of two, OPM - 'Heaven Is A Halfpipe (even that song wasn't good but it was their only 'hit') and the guys who did 'Who Let The Dogs Out', I'm sure that was their only hit song as well. I really hate bands like that I call 'em one song wonders. :p

The Baha Men had another hit called "Best Days of our lives" on the Shrek soundtrack. I can name a few one-hit wonders, because I have alot of their songs

OMC "How Bizarre"
Right Said Fred "I'm too sexy"
A-Ha "Take on me"
Los Del Rio "Macarena"
The Bodeans "Closer to free"
Oingo Boing "Weird Science"
Lou Bega "Mambo no 5"
Leslie Carter (Nick Carters litte sister) "Like Wow"
Des'Ree "You gotta be" (Not counting her duet with Babyface "Fire)
Crucial Conflict "Hey in the middle of the barn"
Ton Basil "Hey Mickey"

There are ton more on m playlis but I have no time or need to keep writing about them

well yes there was, and there still are alot of "one hit wonders" although now they become more popular, like um.. you know say in euroipe they are really famous, but never get a song her.. ahem in America, they are still popular, but what i am refering to is like the popular songs, every body knows, but out of that group, which could very possibly have many many song, people would only be familier with that one song, you know

"Like Wow" is also from Shrek. "Hey Mickey" is from Bring it on, isn't it? "I'm too sexy"... I know a remix of that one, Can't if it's the original. It's funny, not great, but funny *snickers*

I am pretty sure Los Del Rio has been around like forever, and had put out some pretty big songs in the past. Ricky Martin had 2 or 3 more songs that were popular singles as well.

I'd say Rico Suave is a good one hit wonder lol. Same with Vanilla Ice, all anyone remembers by him is Ice Ice Baby. I'm not sure how he got so popular off one song.

You're telling me you've never heard "Ninja Rap"? You haven't lived.

Ah, one hit wonders... some of my favorite songs are from one hit wonders. "Rico Suave", that song where the chorus is "Hmmmmm", the one by the Waitresses, that party song made by the people from the Talking Heads or whatever they're called...

The women who sing this song are the Weather Girls....and they happen to be one-hit wonders too...also, Sir Mix A Lot "Baby got back"...that song is downright funny and a favorite of mine...
