Her season ended a little while ago and I attended all but 1 of her home games, which in that one instance there was no way for me to get a ride. At first I was a bit skeptical of going, because it's not really my favorite sport but after a while I grew to support her and the members of her team, and at the end of the season I was seen to jump up and down and shout "Hell Yea" with Shawn, who's sister plays on the team as my Middle Hitter #6 g/f spiked the ball right over the net into the opponents faces. Maybe that is because our gym coach just dumps us with the ladies gym coach (who is a vollyball nut) while he goes off to get McDonalds. All we do is play vollyball. Netball for the girls, and Rugby Union for the boys. Those who don't play sport are pretty much ignored, unless they're really good in academic areas. Me, I swim. Thats pretty much the extent of my noticableness.(I realise that isn't a word) But yeah, I love volleyball. It was one of those games you could play as a team, but individually as well. Volleyball is my second sport!!! we are 3 times champions in a row!!! and we are defending our title as we speak! the tournament doesn't start until a couple of weeks, but thats ok. in my life time for this certain league i've only lost 3 matches out of like um.....i dunno, i've been playing for 5 years. however in another league i've lost quite a few times, but what the hey!! GO TEAM KC!!! WOO!!! One, I'm only 4'9.5", so I don't get much height on the ball, and two, I have no hand-eye coordination. And plus, when we did it for gym ( thank god I don't have to take gym anymore! ) no one wanted to play, so they'd stand there and wait for someone else to take the ball. Club volleyball teams here start in December and run through June. A good friend of mine plays quite often, and she's on an impact volleyball team right now.
