This is a repeat of an RPG I started back when I joined but everybody decided that half way through it they didn't want to post anymore. But here goes again.

[21 July 1929, New Orleans]

A series of murders have occured in the city of New Orleans. A local voodoo cult have been put as the prime suspects of the case. The cult have long been suspect of other crimes and supernatural occurences but have had no material evidence to incriminate them. 5 officers of the New Orleans Police Department (Myself and four others) have been placed on the case. The latest murder occured behind a crypt at the St. Frederick Cemetary. The group is to investigate and then take action as they see fit.

Here's my character -

Name: Basil Coddlesworth (Shutup Harlequin!)

Age: 32

Rank: Senior Detective

Description: Tall imposing man with short cut brown hair slicked back with oil. Wears a long brown, leather trenchcoat which conceals his weapons.

Weaponry & Equipment: 2 x Colt. 45 Revolvers
2 x Sawnoff Double barrel Shotguns
Handcuffs
PR-24 (Nightstick)
Wallet
Badge

History: Graduated from the Ogma University of New Orleans with a degree in criminal psychology when 20. Served as a street cop for 5 years and was promoted to homicide as a detective. Recently promoted to Senior Detective, Basil was an excellent choice to lead the case.

Hehehehe. Oh well. My names are just strange...

Name: Lacroix s'Xalerian (the " 's " is a shorted version of Teir s', which means "successor to power, in certain languages. Just a bit of trivia.)

Age: 27

Rank: Detective.

Description: Attachment. About 6 ft tall. Often wears a pristine white trenchcoat with the Chinese kanji for "Dragon" on the back in red.

Weaponry & Equipment:
2 x Desert Eagle .45 semi-automatic pistol
Waste Class combat shotgun.
Nightstick.
Badge

History: Somewhat apathetic policeman, kept in the force mainly due to an uncanny ability to survive nasty situations, due to a short ex-military history. Tends to keep the reason for his discharge a secret, along with most of his life.

Name: Raellyra Stanton

Age: 29

Rank: Detective.

Description: Black hair, usually worn up in a bun, or in a plait. Often wears dark blue, or something similar in black.

Weaponry & Equipment:
.38 Caliber Revolver
Wallet
Badge

History: Raellyra had struggled up to her postion, knock-backs being many, based on decrimination. This, of course, made her rather bitter, twisted and cynical, meaning she could handle almost any case. However, they'd put her on this case to try to prove she couldn't, and, although they'd never admit it, because she was actually rather good at her job.

Doc's where invented in the early 1800's! as a working mans boot, selling for around 2 pound a pair. granted not smurf blue ones cause smurfs weren't invented. ok, compramise...cherry reds had been invented so i'll wear those. bright shirts where also part of the fashion. the long hair wasn't but who says i have to bow to peer presure, if it worries you i'll tuck it under my fendora.

Bright coloured anything was not a part of the fashion anywhere near New Orleans and especially the New Orleans Police Force. We are talking about the most gothic city in America here. I'll make you a deal. I'll let you in my RPG if you don't dress like a hippie and wear normal clothes of the era and area.

I must disagree with you Murphy. Your stereotype of New Orleans to put simply is crap. Bright and colour full clothes were the fashion from time to time. Now I know this is agreeing with my sister but she is right. Also Doc's have been in different colours for the last hundred years and yes this includes cherry red, all be it no were near as bright as the ones lilac is thinking of, lol.

Any way it is an RPG don't get so uptight, also you made no standards of dress in your sign up post so you have no reason to exclude her.

First thing Cloricus, I did not say she could not be in the RPG. Secondly, I'll tell you once and I'll tell you again. DON'T POST IN MY THREADS!!! Also it is up to the thread starter to decide if someone can be in their RPG anyway. And I didn't say that they weren't in different colours back then, I was stating the fashion. So, looks like you're in the wrong again. And fine, go with the cherry reds.

Ok, off the topic, bantering, pointless discussion over shades of red, blue, footware, shirts, and the invention of Smurfs has no place here. I do believe the protocol states that if you have a problem, PM them instead of spamming simply to publicly prove a point and boost your posting average. The 10 posts in question should be deleted, unless you want some one to delete them for you and you have to start the whole thing again. And before Cloricus starts going on about how he's not allowed to post in this thread why is she she's not a mod don't be so stupid Raven, I'll make my point.

Name: Alastuin West
Age: 25
Rank: Detective
Description: Long, straight, black hair, pale skin. Wears a lot of black and dark red.
Weaponry & Equipment: Ruger KP97 .45 cal pistol, dagger, and a violin string.

Okay that's it people. The 5 positions are filled so I'll start this up soon. You'll probably have a bit of waiting however as my other RPG holds a tad more priority at the moment since there are a lot more people to beat me up in that one If I don't hurry up and start it. So watch the Adventure Forum kids.

This blatantly useless post was brought to you by The Unholy Newt. Stay tuned for, "When Dyslexic Agoraphobics in Wheelchairs Attack"
