Goku

It's such a PRETTY blue world
If I sty WAY high up
I can almost cover it with bothe hands--
see, like this?

Why would anyone want to hurt it?
I guess they don't understand like me
they haven't held it in their hearts
they haven't called on it's power.
I have!

for a moment I was part of everything
each tiny life, warm and trusting,
each leaf on every tree
the rocks deep under the mountains
the ocean white on the sand...
you don't forget or lose a thing like that.

She took me in, this Earth,
when I didn't have any other home.
I was born here--me, Son Goku--
not that Kakarotto, who ever he was.
I don't think I would have liked him.
Too bad tempered.

Don't worry, little blue world.
I love you too much to let you hurt.
I'll give my life, any time any place,
to keep you safe.

Because...
Just as all of you is a part of me,
all of me is a part of you, forever.

Well we are all wanting more and more poetry! :-D

I think your poem was written without too much effort, but was still okay for what seems like a 'poem-on-dah-fly'.

As for the freehand style... im glad you separated the stanza's... its almost NEEDED with freehand. Good job.
