His horns glowed a bright white as they slammed straight into the fox digimon. She flew through the air and crashed into some trees. "My turn." Ramartmon growled. "Rampage Runner!" Her attack caught Silleniioiakmon head-on, knocking her back into the trees. Groaning, she pulled herself to her feet. The digimon gathered around Silleniioiakmon and growled, preparing to fire. Suddenly- "Stop!" Kairi screamed. The digimon all watched her walk over to her digimon slowly. "Don't do this..." "Kairi, get back!" TitanTriceramon warned. She shook her head. "No. I have to bring Draguiymon back to us. Don't destroy her. I don't want to be alone again." Kairi continued, raising her hand to Silleniioiakmon's. Frankie stirs some liguid on the stove and sits next to ploymon in a chair.... Frankie: I really messed up this time dident i Ploy Ploy: Aww no no no..its not yoru fault......you did not mess anything up..... sure letting them come here might have done more good then bad... Aidan carried a massive pile of plates through and dumped them on the table. "How come you have so many?" "I pick 'em up whenever I see them. They tend to break fairly often, so I like having planty in reserve." Frankie answered, wondering how eleven people were going to eat with four spoons. "Fair enough." Aidan replied. Ploymon bounced into the kitchen and returned with a loaf of bread balanced precariously on her head. "How long have you been here?" Aidan asked, watching Ploymon jump onto the table with expert precision. "For a long time now. I can't remember how long, exactly." Frankie said quietly. "What happened?" Aidan asked. "It's a long story, and it sort of explains why I tend to stay by myself with Ploymon. It's not something I enjoy talking about." Aidan pulled up a chair. "I'm listening." Ploy: She would LOVE to tell you.... she NEEDS to tell someone... if she doesent im afraid it might jsut destroy her personality... Frankie: oh hush you... you dont know that.. Aidan: it could though.. Frankie: Fine... it started about 6 years ago.. my parents were driveing home from these convention in the country....of course it was raining hard that day....but they still couldent see that big semi... unfortunatly in the hospital they did not last long so.... i lost my parents ....then i went to live with my AUNT..... she kept me for about a year and then my strange dreams drover her insane..... i kept dreaming of which i now know are digimon...so then i was sent to a foster couple....of course bad things go worng there too...i got ploymon and they about died...they were so insane...after that...thinking i was demonized...ya know...evil creaturs of the devil following me around.. so they locked me in the basement for about 2 years.... not much food not much of anything.... curling up on old newspaper for warmth...i finaly got the old windoe cracked and finaly ran away... me and ploymon jsut wandered the streets for a while..then i finaly got my devise and found a way here...after ploymon digivolved to her champion form a week later.. we started building this cabin... i dont talk to many people here i live here by myself....other people looked at me like i was some possesed demon child or some diseased rodent... Ploy: YOU DIDENT TELL HIM THE OTHER PART Frankie: *glances at ploy* cause i doubt he wants to know... Aidan: No... i do. Frankie: ok ...fine... i have...seziures sometimes...not jsut the black out kind.... the go unconcious shake violently in the middle of the floor kinda of thing..... i havent in a while.... why do you think i went into the forest last night...so i wouldent freak you guys out of it happned again.... not to mention the fact that i have this other problem ... its like.... i wont eat for a week cause i never get hungry...i hardly eat.... ever..... i just cant make friends ...they all think im ....so strange or horrible and such.... Ploy:... its been me and her here for a long time now.... when we take trips to the real world..... and sit in the park for a while not one person talks to her... i mean it too.... the kids would look at her... and just.... kinda.... all radiate AWAY from her.... its really been a beating on her confidence and other things... The others were collecting wood and trying to avoid the unconscious Draguiymon. "Listen," he said softly. "I want you to know you're not alone any more. We all have digimon here, so there's no-one to have to hide from, no-one to call you insane. You shouldn't be afraid to talk to people. I know often it's hard to place trust sometimes... but we're not going to hurt you. We're all your friends. And we have food, so you should eat it. Okay?" Frankie gave him a weak smile. It felt strange having someone talk to her. Almost like a friend. "Sure. But don't tell anyone else about this, okay?" Aidan smiled. "I won't. Shall I get the others in now?" Ploymon looked at the spoons thoughtfully. "We need seven more. Unless people don't mind getting messy." ------- Outside, MetalArmadillomon looked to the motionless Draguiymon. Kairi was sitting next to her, gently stroking her fur. Kaci walked up next to him and knelt down. "Don't worry about it. We all need space every once in a while. They'll be fine." she said quietly. John began to turn his Digivice. It began to glow and card made out of white energy formed in his hand. "What the..." The Digivice in John's hand and the card began to glow. "What if I..." John placed the card on the Digivice. The card disintegrated and the Digivice changed, a small slot formed on the side. John put his eye up to it. "Weird. I wounder what it's for..." I kinda found this round, rock, altar thing, and there were four things drawn on it. Aidan: :therock: So you found a round thing with paintings on it? Rokas: Well yeah, but it had like a horned bat statue in the middle of it. And there were like drawings. To one side there was triangle- thats probbably the piramid, then to other side there was a stik with a stik man next to it and there also was like fire and to the last side there was a. uhmm... a round thing. Aidan looked to Rokas. "This stone thing? Where was it?" Rokas pointed through the trees. "Near where the pyramid was. It's strange." Gabumon stood next to him, gripping his trousers. "It's creepy. I don't know what it is about it, but I don't like it." Aidan thought for a bit while MetalArmadillomon crawled up next to him. Gabumon smiled a little nervously. "Let's check it out. What's the worst that could happen?" Aidan asked. Rokas gestured to Draguiymon, lying motionless next to Kairi. "Ah. Yeah." he sighed. "Well, we won't go that close to it, then." "So where is it?" Aidan asked quietly as Rokas slinked around the bushes. "Through there." Rokas whispered back, pointing into a massive clearing. Right in the centre of it was the plinth with the four symbols on it. "What do you think it is?" Gabumon asked quietly. "I don't like it. I wouldn't be surprised if it had some kind of mystical power. It feels cold..." Gabumon said, clinging to Rokas' trousers. Aidan stepped forwards into the clearing. "I can see those symbols. What do you think they mean?" "They could be a map, or maybe the plinth's a key to opening up something bigger, like the pyramid." Rokas explained. The bat statue on top of the plinth glared at them coldly. It filled them with a sense of dread. Slowly they crept forwards until they were only a few feet away. A horrible, cold feeling swept over them like ice flowing through their viens. "I don't like this. Let's go." MetalArmadillomon said nervously. "It could be important in finding out what's going on here. We still don't know where we're supposed to go yet." Aidan said quietly, stepping forwards again. "Can't we look at it later? Or at least when we have more people around." Gabumon asked. Rokas nodded. "Yeah. We didn't tell anyone that we were leaving. They might be wondering where we are." "Fair enough." Aidan sighed. They turned around and walked back towards the cabin, being watched by the bat statue, whose eyes began to glow... *** When they arrived back at camp, Aidan was met with a stern look from John. "How long have you known that Frankie could have seizures." Aidan looked confused. "Only about an hour. Why? What's wrong?" "She's just had another one. I'm worried about her." John said quietly. "Is she okay?" Aidan asked urgently. "Yeah, she's okay now. Just a little shaken. But-" They were interrupted by a groan from behind them. Draguiymon had woken up. "She hates me..." Kairi whispered. "She hates me because I wasn't strong enough to control her when she was Silleniioiakmon. I wasn't strong enough to lift her curse. We have five days before everything ends..." "Five days before what?" John asked. "Gotaro. A sacrifice will be made to him to allow him to rise up and take control to the worlds." "Why didn't you tell us you could Spirit-Evolve?" Rokas asked. "It's a curse. When I do, Gotaro's pyramid will reappear." "There has to be some way around this.
