You mean her dubbed voice? Because I don't think her Japanese Seiyuu changed, but I could be wrong...

I hate it when they change the voices, too. I loved R. ^-^ I bought almost all the tapes... I can't find the last one now, but I have the rest. I loved that season, too.

I've never seen Sailor Stars. No American company is even willing to subtitle it and I don't believe in buying fansubs. Anyway, I think S was the best season. It had that whole "end of the world" thing going on with Sailor Saturn and Mistress 9.

And I won't even bother with the dub voices, except to say that Serena's first voice for the first 5 or so episodes was the best one.

*Falls over and dies* NO.....sigh those damn Scouts got another fan to their cult. I actually dislike Sailor Moon its not because I'm a guy but because I just hate the story and various other things brought about by this show meaning various hentai's made and the fact Sailor Neptune and Uranus are actually Lovers.....

Other things including a horrible dub and horrible recurring theme make this my most hated anime series of all time even more then Sakura Wars.

The whole Michiru and Haruka thing was a given, besides i love yaoi/yuri. Anyway Salior Moon was tolerable but as it continued and got longer...and longer...and longer i started getting real tired. The voices were a whole thing on their own, I couldnt stand them..at all...thats why i just read the manga after seeing the first season, it really discouraged me towards the series.

Yeah, the manga is a lot more interesting than the actual series. But there is still some depth to the tv show, at least in the japanese version there is. Sailor Moon S is my favorite season, but that is just because I haven't had a chance to watch all of Sailor Stars yet. Those Sailor Starlights are pretty weird, but I like Chibi-Chibi.

lol. well i like the manga better then the "dubbed" voice in the other series then sailor moon, and r.lol. for Rick hunter> Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus are cousins, but ur right, looks like if they are. Always together. Someone that liked Sailor Mars, Rei mistaked Uranus for a guy. :0)

Big Dub Edit
In the manga and original Japanese version of the anime, Neptune and Uranus aren't related. They never come right out and say they're homosexual, either. That's just something that you conclude on your own.
The dubbed English version decided to change the dialogue so that they kept calling each other cousins...

But you probably already knew that and I misunderstood what you were saying. I'm just not sure.

Yup, they really are lovers... There are serious hints about it in Stars, too. They have very... suggestive dialogue, and it's quite obvious they're lovers.

Am I the only person here that can tolerate the dub? I hate Serena's voice, but the dub is unfortunately the only version I have seen and I didn't even notice any of the cuts. In fact, I didn't know they were that bad until I read about them in Wizard's Anime Invasion. I have seen up to the end of Super S and have read about Sailor Stars in websites and Anime Invasion. I wish they would at least put it on DVD instead of being so uptight about dubbing it for Toonami. R is personally my favorite season.

I loved the future storylines, was somewhat saddened by the Sapphire story, and loved Wise Man and how he played everyone like a fidel. I didn't get to see as much of S and SuperS as I would like too. Not only was I working but I did not see any commercials for either show, until after they were well into the series. Then I had very little oppurtunity to see them. Damn Cartoon Network

That's the thing about Sailormoon. Aside from leaving out like 3 full episodes, nobody notices cuts made to the dub unless they look back and forth between versions. The only changes they really make are to the dialogue (which I don't really like) and the character names (which I don't mind).

Sailor Moon, I actually used to watch that every day when I got home from school in 7th grade. It was like...addicting or something. *_*

Anyway, I havn't seen it for about 3 years. It's kind of embarrising to even mention, considering I'm a guy, haha.

Ah well actually the creator of Sailor Moon went as far as to literally confirm that Michiru and Haruka are in fact lovers. To end the speculation of that theory.

Yeah, and the manga didn't seem nearly as repetitive... It was much more tolerable than the anime to just sit down and read/watch...

In want to know when they will have Sailor Moon back again. They said that they will show it in like August something, Sailor Moon R, but they never did. I thought that it was true too. They skipped like 16 episodes, including Day Of Destiny. I can't wait until they show Sailor Moon R again, I'm wating for Alan, when he plays his flute.Last time on Cartoon Network, they played A Super Sailor moon movie, it was good. It was a Toonami movie I guess that's what they call it. :)

They were playing the original Sailor Moon, and they just stopped it right in the middle.... That was very disappointing. The TV schedule showed them playing R, but they never did. U.U I had to go out and buy all the R tapes instead... >_> I love the Doom Tree saga. ^-^

I read in Wizard some time ago that Disney was optinioning to do a live Sailor Moon movie that takes place in Beverly Hills. I haven't heard any word on it but I'm sure it would be bad. It's tough to pull off a Power Ranger like movie and be serious about it. Now if only the live DBZ movie rumor wasn't true than we'd be in business.

It's been a long time since I just sat down and watched Sailor Moon. The last time I really sat down to watch it was around 5 years ago maybe. O_o My attention for that anime/manga kinda dwindled down after that. I started watching Sailor Moon in Tokyo when I was in 1st grade. I lived in Japan for three years and I got exposed to the current anime fads. Mostly Sailor Moon for young girls and Dragon Ball for young boys.

When I went back to the US, I was happy to hear that Sailor Moon was being dubbed (err, stupid me. First encounter with dubbing, actually) and I hated it from then on. I couldn't stand the voices, cuts, and Americanization the anime went through and stopped watching it.

I never saw the last Star season. I came in in the early R series and got to see up to the mid SuperS series before I moved out of Japan. ^_^

Is the Japanese version a WHOLE lot better that the dubbed english version? Because I REALLY used to hate Sailormoon. But before that, when I was really little (the only other anime I saw back then was Totoro...I love that movie) I got all excited when it came on, and my cousin was disgusted...^^

But maybe it's just because of the dubbed thingy. I've seen a couple of shows, and they were okay, but I think I didn't like it becuase the topic was overdone too much. Bad villain. Oh no. Yea!, the scouts are coming! Oh no. They're losing. Oh, wait, they win!
