What you have just read is a lie, a phony story created to hide the truth about what really happened during this event. I do not know the entire truth, but I am more than willing to try and figure it out.

The date is [b]February 16, 2015[/b], and I live in the newly rebuilt fortress-city of Tokyo 3. But what is this city protecting us from? Another meteor impact, or something more? My name is Eric, or at least, that is what you can call me. My identity is a secret, and it is important to keep it just that -- a secret.

My goal is to reveal the secrets hiding beneath the city of Tokyo 3. Everyone knows about the NERV organization (formerly [i]Gehirn[/i]), but very few know this groups true purpose. Reports indicate that giant robotic fighting machines are being constructed and tested, and they are being quickly forced into production as if they were expecting something. These reports are unconfirmed, and I will report more as information leaks in from my sources.

Welcome to Evangelion: God's Shadow. This rpg is not about the fight between the Evas and the Angels, this is about the secrets and lies surrounding NERV, and how the Angels have effected life in Tokyo 3. You cannot be any of the characters from the series, and you cannot pilot an EVA. You are not the 6th child, get over it.

You could be a lower-ranking SEELE spy determined to learn the truth, a NERV employee who will protect the secrets of the EVAs with their life, a terrorist trying to destroy everything that the UN and NERV stand for.

Or you could be a regular person, who has no connection to any of these organizations. Maybe you are a regular high school student, or someone else. The possibilities are nearly endless.

Quality role-playing and character development are encouraged, so please try your best.

Nick is a journalist for a local Newspaper in Tokyo 3, [i]ThreeDay.[/i]He is a simple man, and usually keeps to himself. But he will do anything to get his story, and when I say anything I mean ANYTHING. He wants to be at the top in the news buisness, which is getting on broadcast television, going down the path he is, one good story could put him there.

Nick grew up like a normal kid. He has a brother one year younger then him and two regular parants. He went to school, and recieved average grades, until he began writing. In tenth grade Nick joined the school paper. He began getting excellant grades, he was finally really enjoying his life, and he has been writing and enjoying life ever since...[/size][/color]

[b]Character Physical Description:[/b] Lance's hair is black, but he blended red dye in it. Its short, and its spiked. He has blue eyes, not very bushy eyebrows, a good size. He isn't a muscle man but he is well off with muscles. He has a black long sleeve shirt on it, it has the [color=red]anarchy[/color] sign on it, he spray painted it with [b]white[/b] spray paint. The sign is not big, its of medium size and isn't too small either. He has black cargo pants on, it has about 5-6 pockets on it. He wears a metal chain as a belt. The end of it hangs down and it extents below his shirt, it stops at about his crotch area. He wears one white sock and the other black. Its because he is too poor to buy new socks. He has on Black/Grey XLT Rowley shoes, his left shoe has duct tape on it, because the laces broke and he can't buy new ones. He has duct tape in his pocket just incase it breaks or anything.

[b]Character's Occupation:[/b] Lance has had many odd jobs before, he tries very hard to keep a job, while his english skills are of college level, his math skills are extremely limited. He is only good in jobs that require no math skills, and most jobs need people that know math well.

[b]Character Background:[/b] Lance's childhood is not a good one. He was raised by a poor alcoholic father and a mother he never knew. As a child, to get money he would steal from house to house. Until one day, he tried to rob the land lord of the region, but he couldn't get anything, he was caught. But while inside the house he tried to kill the land lord because he sold his fathers house a few years back after he left and his father was sent to jail. As time went on he got stronger and tougher then he was. He was able to take on the slums of Tokyo 3. But he needed bail and there was a skateboarder talking to his son who was in jail because of dismantle of property. Lance pleaded with him to pay for bail and he would do whatever he wanted. The man agreed with Lance under one condition. The condition was that he was to live with him until he was an expert skateboarder. Lance agreed, he would of done anything to get out of jail, he disliked it deeply.
Within the next year, he was out and having a new life, he was a decent skateboarder and he also began to talk about [color=red]anarchy.[/color] He also became a pyro and eventually burned down his own house, the man had no choice but to throw him out and turn him to the streets. Although he gave Lance money and whatnot he spent it on a skateboard and good sturdy clothes.
He was back where he began. He lived in the dark alleys of the city, he would mug women[because they are the easier to get, plus they carry more money] to get money and to buy skateboarding acessories. He was obbessed with skateboarding as if you had'nt figured that out yet.
But this soon didn't work too well so he just stopped stealing and tried to get odd jobs, the longest his had a job was for 3 weeks. Although Lance tried numorous times to try and get a sponsor, no one would take him because he was poor. But his english skills increased, he was never able to find a journalism job. Or that they wouldn't take him because he was so poor and because they didn't need anymore journalists.
As he lived on, he trained his body to need very little food and water to surivive, so he didn't need much food and drink. He tries to make friends, but they seem not to like his apperence.
Lance one day came across some NERV operatives talking about something with Angels and Evangelions, he didn't know most of the stuff he was talking about, he saw a virgin rail and couldn't resist, he grinded it. Unfornately the NERV operations heard him and chased him, he barely got away and decided to write about the Angels and Evangelions they talked about. What they were, what purpose they served, and things of that sort.
As life went on, the same things happened. He didn't change many things. He ran out of paper writing about the Angels and Evangelions. It ran up to about 10 pages front and back, but he had so many more ideas but he ran out of paper so he just keeps it all in his head. Lance recently decided to just forget about it and keep it in the back of his head just incase he finds out by some accident what they are.

Physical description: About 6ft tall with blond hair and ice blue eyes. He isn't a muscle man but is muscely. He has a strong sense of being kind to others: Thanks to his upbringing from his parents.

Occupation: Sophomore in highschool, but on weekends is a freelance photographer.

Backround: Ryan was brought up in America until he was at least the age of 2 when his parents decided to move to Japan. Ryan was brought up by his parents to be kind to others which has won him some recognition by his community, but really he yearns to have adventures, that is why he decided to become a freelance photographer.

Green eyes, and white hair, dyed black on the tips. Small goatee just coming in. As for clothes, Hiro is a non-conformist, and likes to do things his own way. This is shown in his general apparel. He often wears black/dark clothing, baggy pants, and chains/belts whenever possible. He'd rather wear his school shirt open then done up.

[b]Character Background:[/b] Hiro is a happy-go-lucky, charismatic kind of guy who speaks his mind. He hs lived in Tokyo-3 all his life, as his father worked for NERV. Since then, his Father was dismissed from NERV and went back to working as an electrical engineer. Hiro's Mother is a University lecturer in the area of Art History.
Hiro was recently transferred to (gah, I forget the name) Junior High School, and put in room 2-A. He is quickly making friends.

Name: Akira Tento

Age: 24

Physical Description: A tall young man, with long black hair pulled back into a single braid. His dark brown eyes are almost always half-closed, like he's sizing up the world in some huge poker game. He normally wears a grey or black knee-length trenchcoat, grey trousers and a plain, white shirt underneath it, and black boots.

Occupation: A NERV deep-sleeper, he has been trained to do whatever it takes to destroy any sort of leak of information about the Angels or the Evas. As a part of this he has been trained in several styles of martal arts, along with gunmanship and sniping. They have been trained to be completely inconspicuous, blending into the background anywhere.

Background: He never knew what happened to his parents, they had lived with him until he was 6, when they disappeared without a trace. He was put through highschool and college by a patron, a high-ranking offical of NERV. During that time he signed a contract signing him to a term of employment by NERV. He has been on numerous missions, and has proved himself as being a competent assass...um...cover-up agent.

Age: 22
Description: OutlawDragon has a muscular body, but not bulky. He is about 5' 9". He has black hair. He has a neon green eye and a bright red eye. He wears a skin tight neon green t-shirt, baggy black pants, and a black trench coat that drags behind him. He carries a yumi on his back, he also carries with him either a Bo or Jo.
Occupation: OD is a mercenary/bounty hunter. He was hired to find as much information about NERV as possible.
Backround: OutlawDragon's parents were killed when he was 10. Since then he has grew up with his older sister. OutlawDragon and his sister became mercenaries, while following the trail of the person that killed their parents. He was born in Kyoto, Japan and has been trained in martial arts and ancient weapons.
