Transtic Nerve
How many of you have seen or even knew about the DBZ OAV. I've had it for a while, but I never actually got around to watching it till now. I thought it was interesting and I wonder why not alot of people know about this. I wonder if FUNi even knows about this and if they do, if they'll dub it. Anyway, for those of you who have seen it, what did you think? Interesting plot, kind of drawn out though. It's just like all the other movies. The Saiya-jins have to stop some guy who comes back to get revenge (I'm not going to ruin the story for those of you who haven't seen it) blah blah blah... It's also refered to as the "Lost Movie" but it's not really lost, it's just a 3 part OAV
Jinzouningen17
You talkin about "Plan To Destroy the Saiya-Jin"? I only seen a few clips from it and it looks pretty hot. I loved when Vegeta gave Frieza the Big Bang Attack(I heard in a few versions of it that he gives him the Final Flash. But the clip I got, he gives him the Big Bang Attack), plus I love when Piccolo is fighting Slug and Gohan comes down and whistles right into Slug's ears and Piccolo kills him. I wanna see the whole thing. If only someone on Direct Connect had it. :D
Kinetic
I heard about it on Friday. I thought my friend was being another insane DBZ addict who believes in DBAF, but I do believe him, and am not really interested in it, although, for some strange reason, I'm actually watching the new episodes. I've thouhgt for a while that DBZ was too redundant and I bashed it alot, but I still watch it. E D I T: What a hypocrite I am :p
SephirothNIN
I have the DBZ OAV, and it's ok. I prefer the regular 13 DBZ movies a lot over the OAV. Most of the time goku, gohan, etc. etc. just seem to be fighting weak, weird monster-like things that aren't a challenge even in giant groups. They're stupid monsters that fall into their own traps and don't really talk much. The villains that come back were a cool scene, but a short one =\. Better to see movie 7, 8, 9, or 12 those are awesome mmmm. The OAV's ending is also rather...strange, but hey might as well watch it if you can find it. Red
I've seen the OVA (I could of sworn it is called OVA and not OAV) and it's pretty good, if a little weird. The little mini-map sequences are very cool and resemble a video game, lol. The concept of the movie is quite cool, but the fights aren't drawn out enough for my liking.

Original Video Animation or Original Animation Video... either works fine.
Hinata
Has it only been released over seas... I've never heard of it and now I wanna and I gotta see it ASAP....SBut if it isn't subtitled then forget it!!!

In Japan, it was a Playdia video game(not really a movie, but could be made into one). And I guess someone in Japan recorded the game and was able to turn it unto a movie, thus someone got a copy of it and fansubbed it.
shibatku
Well thats sux I mean if it was a game how exactly did they turn it into a movie. A furthermore how did they get it overseas to others people. Was it that hot that it multiplied and a lot of people bought it and shipped it to america? Anyway it's probaly hard to get. Jinzouningen17
Heres where you can find information on the DBZ OVA's. http://www.planetnintendo.com/superpope/dbzshrine/games/playdia1.html (you can download clips and see screen caps from this one. I HIGHLY recommend the Vegeta/Frieza clip.) http://www.planetnintendo.com/superpope/dbzshrine/games/playdia2.html (you can only see screen caps on this one) There, you'll see how it was able to be turned into a movie and so forth. Enjoy. ^_^

It was basically a interactive movie. If you have ever seen the OVA/OAV thru you'll notice the world map poping up and people selecting locations to go to. If you want to see it, I suggest getting Imesh. I'm pretty sure thats what I downloaded it off of (Heck most of my anime comes from Imesh). Anyways, I'm waiting for the 12th DBZ movie to be dubbed, that one is my personnal fav. Jameba has to be the coolest DBZ villian ever (well maybe other than Vegeta and Piccolo, and only Jameba's 2nd form, his first is kinda gay). Hinata
Speaking of movies...has anyone by any chance seen the Live version "Dragonball" but the characters are named differently... Goku- Monkey Boy and a bunch of other names that I can't think of right now!!! But if you've seen it you'll know why I'll say...If you're thinking about watching it...DON'T IT'S HORRIBLE
