RPG Episode 2.5: The Separatists Strike Back

[Color=teal][I]The droid fighters close in on the [b]Tiberius[/b], and begin to open fire, Alex enters the command and the duel turbo lasers begin to fire. Anakin begins attack maneuvers and they begin to chase after the fighters, after several more engages the last few fighters are destroyed[/I]

[b]Alex[/b]: Well-done Anakin, excellent flying. Now on to the Kamino system, and make haste.

[I]The hyper drive generator is engaged and the [B]Tiberius[/b] shoots through space, several hours later they arrive on Kamino and are greeted by Lama Su at Topica City, the capital of Kamino, Lama Su beckons them inside to discuss matters at hand. Inside they meet two further Jedi Travis and Ion Redips, they introduce to one another and are brought into the main chamber of the building[/I]

[B]Lama Su[/b]: I say once again greeting my Jedi friends, I see our army does not fail in its magnificence or its capabilities..

[b]Alex[/b]: Yes Lama Su the Army is fine and well capable of its purpose, it is Kamino and the Kaminoians we worry for. Now if possible will you contact the council of the Jedi for us

[B]Lama Su[/b]: Indeed I will,

[I]He presses a button and a holo imagining system activates, showing Master Yoda's elderly face on it. Yoda's, looks at them with happy feelings and begins to speak[/I]

[B]Yoda[/b]: Ahh my friends you have arrived safely and soundly hope I, as follows your mission is, a Separatist invasion team will attempt to gain access to Kamino and the planet generator shut down, to happen this must not be allowed, how the will enter foresee I cannot, be ever vigilant my friends..

[I]All discuss the matter at hands and being talks[/I][/color]

[Boba Fett]

[COLOR=green]Abob and Tarlain retire to the [I]Idiot's Array[/I], and awake the next morning to the sound of thousands of marching feet.

Abob: "What in the galaxy?!"

Tarlain: "They're probably loading droids. What time is it?"

Abob: "Two hours before the freighter launch."

Tarlain: "Dooku must be counting on our success if he is already loading droids for the capture of the planet."

Abob: "I would be concerned if he wasn't counting on our success, after all, three million credits is an awful lot to waste..."

[I]Abob walks back into his stateroom and begins to prepare for the upcoming mission. He places his sniper rifle in a storage locker under his bunk, and then pulls a locked rifle case from the locker before closing it.

He lets the electronic lock take a DNA sample and scan his eye before speaking one password and typing another into a miniature keypad. Finally the case pops open to reveal a long, thin rifle coated in a diamond/boron casing. He slings the rifle over his shoulder and then pulls another weapon from under the rifle. The second weapon is a blaster pistol, with a very effective stun setting.

He closes up the rifle case and walks back out into the cockpit to find that Tarlain has left.

He climbs down the open hatch and out onto the cold metal floor of the docking bay. On the far side of the bay a landing craft is being loaded. Thousands of super battle droids march into light personnel carriers, and the full personnel carriers queue up to enter the cavernous mouth of the landing craft.

Abob spots Tarlain and Kain standing near the entrance to the docking bay, watching the loading with amusement. Abob approaches them.[/I]

Abob: "What did I miss?"

Tarlain: "Only incoherent mutterings of a mad force wielder."

Abob: "Darn. Could you repeat whatever you said Kain?"

[I]Kain fixes Tarlain and Abob with an ice cold stare, then speaks in a flat, dangerous monotone voice.[/I]

Kain: "I came here to tell you two that we are ready to board the freighter for instruction in how to fly it onto the planet. Once that's done it will be time to depart."

Abob: "Then let's go."

[I]They foursome walk silently towards the secondary docking bay...[/I][/COLOR]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She smiled and sat down in a nearby chair, feet up once more. Abob looked at her. It was a somewhat stressful situation of course...but she was still looking cool. Calm, even happy about this.[/i]

Abob: Happy?

Tarlain: Overjoyed.

Abob: And why is that?

Tarlain: If I die...I'll see my baby sister again. If I live...I'll be able to tap into the energy my implants don't cover....mystical magical side of me....never really appeared.

Abob: Could it be the technology is interfering?

Tarlain: No, it's not that. I'm quite sure it's just me....[/COLOR]

[Boba Fett]

[COLOR=green]Abob: "You believe in a Laporin afterlife?"

Tarlain: "It's not an afterlife, it kind of like... I can't really describe it."

Abob: "Whatever just make sure it doesn't interfere with out mission."

Tarlain: "Do you always have to be so to the point?"

They continue to walk down the hallway in silence, and they only resume talking when they reach the secondary docking bay.

Dooku: "Welcome, I hope you're all well. The freighter you're going to be flying is a standard model, no modifications as they would attract undue attention.

The piloting systems are functioning perfectly and whichever one of you is flying should have no problem after a few simulated runs.

I will be showing the other three of you which decide not to fly the ship how to activate and control the droidekas. They are quite touchy I'm afraid.

So, who wants to fly the ship?"

Kain shakes his head no, and Tarlain looks at Abob.

Tarlain: "You fly, I'm not as good of a pilot as either you or Kain, but I don't want to entrust my life to him."

Abob: "I'll fly Dooku."

Dooku: "Very well, Abob this battle droid will escort you can go to the far side of the hangar where the simulator is.

The rest of you can follow me."[/COLOR]
