RPG Bebop: Sentinel's Rain (RP)

[Talon]

[i][color=teal]Fox just stood and sighed where he was, heading away from Angel for a few minutes. He noticed the man he was after at the craps table and began to make his way slowly to it, tightening his grip on his gun when he felt a Glock 30mm automatic pressed into the back of his head.[/i]

[b]Girl:[/b]You have a lot of money on your head, brother. And I want that reward.

[b]Fox:[/b]Ami....how could you? After the way I raised you as my sister....[/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]As soon as the words had left Fox's mouth, he heard a gun click behind him and swore silently. It was then that he realized the Glock was no longer pressed into his back. He turned around and found Ami on the ground, and another girl with her foot pressing lightly down on her neck.

Jaudiar's eyes hardened, and she tightened her grip. It was time to die.[/i]

Ami: Hellcat.

Jaudiar: Don't speak.

Fox: What are you doing?

Jaudiar: Saving your butt. Although I'm still trying to figure out why. You don't seem to be very good at picking this up.

[i]The slingblade in her hand was humming slightly, energy coursing through it's length....[/i][/COLOR]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Fox stood there, his blood coursing from his fire-implants that gave him his nicknames. His anger was getting the best of him as he saw his 'sister' laying on the ground, seething at him and Hellcat. Fox let his anger course, his blood surging him into his fire-rage. He bent down, softly praying that there was a place in Heaven for Ami, and knocked her out with a swift punch. He stood, smiling gently at Hellcat as the orange flames that were surrounding his body subsided. His skin felt warmer, as it always had, as Hellcat could merely say a single word.[/i]

[b]Jaudiar:[/b]Pheonix...

[i]He grinned as he tossed her a small amount of money, fifteen-thousand woolongs. He stood, about to walk away, when Hellcat called after him.[/i]

[b]Jaudiar:[/b]You lied to me. You're Pheonix Eretima. You DO enjoy barfights. But...

[b]Fox:[/b]It's ok. I really do like them, but today, I have a huge bounty on my head and I'm chasing an even larger one. No time for a barfight. Do what you want with the girl. She's lost my favor. I don't like traitors.[/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue]Jaudiar: Oh no...you're not getting rid of me that easily.

Fox: ...are you sure about that?

[i]She smiled at him and waved her slingblade in front of his face. The money he had tossed at her was in his hands again....and her arm had somehow found its way to his....[/i]

Fox: Are you...

Jaudiar: Who I say I am? Of course. But to really find out...you'll have to let me stick around.

Fox: If I don't?

Jaudiar: You'll never find out if I'm just a good con artist....or something else.

Fox: You win.

[i]The two exited the bar....ignoring the stares of the patrons....

Once outside, she slung on her backpack and faced him....eyes snapping playfully.[/i][/COLOR]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Fox stood there, his mind puzzling over two mysteries at once.[/i]

[b]Fox:[/b]So what do you suggest we do?

[b]Jaudiar:[/b]Well, first...you have a ship? First, we get out of here. I think your friend can handle being alone for a while. But our bounty is getting away.

[i]The noticed a single ship flying away into a warp gate. Fox cursed softly. They'd find him sooner or later, but right now, he needed to get out of the casino. He was a wanted man. He called his Valkenis, helping Hellcat in and jumping in himself. He took off, heading for the [u]Alaris[/u] in the asteroid belt. As he tore through, he decided to let Hellcat into his home. As he docked the valkenis, he jumped out, helping Hellcat out. He lead her into the bedroom, where there was only one bed.[/i]

[b]Fox:[/b]If you want, I'll sleep in the cockpit. Do what you will. I'm tired. Call me if there's anything you need.[/color]

[Kevin]

[i]Blake look around and only noticed one or two people littering the streets. A lot has changed since Blake was last home. The once busy streets are now empty, the clean cities now cluttered with trash. He sighed as he continued to walk down the street. At the end of the street he saw a familiar structure. He smiled slightly as he walked towards the building. As he entered the swinging doors he passed under a sign that said "Lucite". He sat down at the bar and looked around for service, a girl, about 21 or so, that was behind the counter noticed that he was sitting there and walked towards him.[/i]

Girl: What will ya ha...

[i]She stopped in mid sentence and then looked closer at the man sitting infront of her. She suddenly got a look of shock on her face as she realized who he was. The girl gave a huge grin.[/i]

Girl: Why if it isn't Blake Triston, or are you going by Blackhawk still?

Blake: Well well, if it isn't Mary Harper. You can call me Blake, you know that. How have you been girl?

Mary: You know how it's been, things have been changing a lot around here.

Blake: So I noticed. Well, so you finally got that job you wanted so bad here at the Lucite.

Mary: Yeah, after that whole... thing we had and you left I figured out you weren't coming back so I followed what I really wanted. Anyway, what will you have?

Blake: The usual, Rum and Coke.

Mary: Of course, how could I forget.

[i]Mary went and got a glass and made the drink for her old aquantince. After a few drinks Blake stood up.[/i]

Mary: Leaving so soon Blake?

Blake: Well Mary, you know me, busy busy.

Mary: Oh Blake, you haven't changed at all.

Blake: It was nice talking to you Mary, see you around.

[i]Blake gave a nod to Mary as he turned and walked out of the bar. Once outside, he sighed and walked down a different street.[/i]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue]Jaudiar: The floor is mine. You can have the bed.

Fox: But you're a girl.

Jaudiar: I was raised by a Chinese demon...I find beds far to soft for my taste.

Fox: That explains the leather.

[i]He sat down on the edge of the bed while Jaudiar folded her legs in front of her....backpack in her lap. She smiled and pulled out a huge white shirt.....then she dropped it next to her. Her backpack was tossed backwards....then landed close by. Without another word, she fell, head hitting its mark, knees crossed....feet flexing and pointing easily. After a few moments, she sat upright again.[/i]

Fox: So...who are you?

Jaudiar: You can call me the Hellcat. For now.

Fox: What then?

Jaudiar: ....I don't think you want to know.

[i]She unclasped the collar at her throat, and slid off both gauntlets. Without any form of embarassment or fear, she crossed both arms and pulled off the tight leather shirt....her hair came loose and fell around her shoulders, giving her an air of mystery. As quickly as the eyes could follow, she picked up the white shirt and slipped it on...then she leaned back again, eyes on the ceiling.[/i][/COLOR]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Fox deftly removed his shirt and fell onto his bed, sighing morosely. He pressed his head into his pillow and fell asleep without pulling any covers about him. As his bare chest rose and fell, his face fell into a peace that Hellcat had never seen on him. But he soon awoke, rest lost on him. He stood up after his five minutes of rest, walked into the cockpit of the [u]Alaris[/u] and began crying. He had so many mysteries to think out. Why was Ami after him? What did Angel mean? What did Hellcat mean? All of these questions pounded inside Fox's mind as he cried, something he'd never done before.[/i][/color]

[Avalon]

[color=red]Sighing heavily, Scarlet walked down the dark street, her heels clicking very loudly. Looking around, she could see that the street was deserted so she kept walking.

"Well, well...what do we have here?" she heard a man say, jumping at the sound of his voice. "What a nice little treat you'll be."

Scarlet growled, "Sorry to disappoint you but I am not treat to anyone."

"Hmm," he spoke, licking his lips. "Then you must need another opinion...boys!"

Scarlet looked at him as four other men came from the shadows, grabbing her. "Hey! Let go!" but the men refused, picking her up and throwing her over one of their shoulders. Scarlet screamed, yelling all the way as they walked down the street, leaving her briefcase on the ground...[/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Hellcat rose to her feet and silently padded to the sound of crying. Looking like a ghost, she drifted through the air....watchful....waiting. She found Fox, face buried in his hands, and she pressed her own against his shoulder. He made no movement and she held him in her arms...then she brought her face closer and whispered her story to him.[/i]

Jaudiar: I am Jaudiar Sevenstar, the last in a line of bounty hunters and asassins. It is safe to tell you who I am now. Fong raised me in his home, and taught me what life was....and everything else. I'm sorry you don't understand.

Fox: ...why are you here with me?

Jaudiar: It was time for me to go. I had to find someone to take with me....where I need to go.

Fox: Where are you planning on going to?

Jaudiar: Wherever you are. Trust me.[/COLOR]

[Talon]

[color=teal][/i]Fox buried his face in her shoulder, crying softer. He wrapped his arms around her, falling asleep after absentmindedly kissing her lips softly. As his body fell into the rythmic pattern of breathing familiar to sleep, Jaudiar noticed the scar on his chest and the tattoo of a tiger fighting a dragon on his shoulder. She smiled when she noticed the feline had struck a violent blow to the serpent and won. She touched it softly, and Fox abruptly awakened. He stared at his shoulder, where Jaudiar's hand still rested. He took Jaudiar's hand in his own, smiling yet crying at the same time.[/i]

[b]Fox:[/b]I was born with that tattoo. Dad told me my blood created it so that I might find my love when a feline stopped a snake from killing me. I never got that...not until tonight.....thank you, Jaudiar.....

[i]With that he kissed Jaudiar again, tightening his grip on her hand slightly.[/i][/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She smiled and passed a hand over his face.....murmering the lines of a song.....he shuddered, then relaxed.... Jaudiar softly spoke again, gently lulling him to rest...[/i]

Jaudiar: Tantalar,
Efrathala,
Uthwine,
Ten Larar...

Fox: That's nice......just what...I...

Jaudiar: ...shhh.

[i]He closed his eyes, her words were intoxicating, and there was a scent in the air...plumaria. Although his mind was already going to sleep, he noticed something on the side of her neck and looked closer...She paused and looked back.[/i]

Jaudiar: What's wrong?

Fox: What's on your back?

Jaudiar: ....let me show you.

[i]She turned around and lifted the shirt up, starting at her neck, and trailing down to her waist....the whipmarks of a cat-o-nine were there... Scars traced themselves in patterns and curls, moving up, then to the side. He traced one with a finger and she quivered. Despite the scaring, she could still feel pain and heat....

He placed his hands on her back and she hunched over. Every thought of her past rushed back....then Jaudiar breathed. It was gone.[/i][/COLOR]

[color=deeppink] [size=1]Angel sat by a bar in the casino, pulling out a mirror, and crimson lipstick. She looked into the mirror, and glanced at the other people in the bar, looking for the bounty she had come for in the first place. According to the records... he should have arrived about a minute ago...

She had a client she owed some money to, and this bounty just might get her off the hook, well, once he showed up. Just then, a smirk slid across her lips, as she saw a young man enter the bar, his hands in his pockets, the usual, casual expression laid out onto his face. Angel wondered how he could be so casual with a bounty placed on his head...

She smiled as she watched him step towards the bar, and take a seat a few seats away from her. He gestured to the bartender with his wrist, and the man returned with a drink shortly afterwards. Angel began to wonder if it really was him... He was far too casual...

Angel pressed a small button on her mirror, and a small screen took place of the mirror. [i]Rev Wyly...[/i] The pictures were identical. There was no mistake this man was the one she was after. Angel leaned aganst the bar counter, and smiled at the young man, her ice blue eyes piercing against his...[/color] [/size]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Fox stared at her back, shaking his head. He turned Jaudiar around, pulling her closer to him, pressing his bare chest against her own. As he stroked her bare back, he lifted her face up to his and kissed her again, whispering the three words in her ear.[/i]

[b]Fox:[/b]I love you....

[i]He lifted her gently, pulling the covers over himself and Jaudiar, vowing to move out after the bounty in the morning. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, kissing her again and letting her hands roam where they would. He looked at the ring on the nightstand next to the bed, but decided it could wait for a while....[/i][/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]She rolled over, head swimming with dreams.....the first petal fell.

Black rose. In my hands, thorns peircing through, pain. Suffering....
Whip, rise and fall. In my heart, I see him wield it.

The second petal fell.

White soul. Stare into my eyes and see my life.
You are the tattoo of me.

The third petal fell.
She saw him out of the corner of her eyes.
The tiger roared, the snake hissed. It was over.

The final petal fell.

Jaudiar sat upright, drawing in her breath quickly....gasping for air, soaked in cold sweat. Fox woke up instantly.[/i]

Fox: What is it?

Jaudiar: ...it's time to go.

[i]She rolled out of the warm bed and landed on all fours. She quickly exchanged the voluminous white shirt for the black lace up top....gorget clasped at the neck, gauntlets slid on....that dream had been too real.

The smell of roses still clung to her....[/i][/COLOR]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Fox shook his head to relieve himself of the dream. He'd had a dream about roses and snakes and tigers, but he simply tried to shake it away, though he looked futilely for the vase of roses that he thought Jaudiar had brought in. As he walked into the cockpit of the [u]Alaris[/u], he strapped on his shirt, laced up his gauntlets, and wrapped a red headband around his wrist to symbolize his emotional status, that he would no longer cut his wrist for any reason. He fired the boosters on the ship, heading for Mars. He left Jaudiar to fly it while he went into the engine room to repair and old crack in the engine. As he entered the engine room, Jaudiar began to fly the ship towards her destination, but Fox was far too busy with his engine to feel the variance in course as she entered Mars' atmosphere, at least until he slipped and landed on the engine, burning his right hand through the gauntlet. He screamed in pain for two seconds, but swallowed his fury and pain, remembering that Jaudiar was aboard. He grabbed his gun, hid his hand, and walked up onto the cockpit area to wait for when it was time to leave. He cocked his gun, smiling at Jaudiar.[/i][/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Jaudiar's eyes flickered slightly....she could smell something unkind. After a few seconds, she reached for her own gun...stealthily....Then she whirled around, weapon raised. Almost immediatly, she could see the hand Fox was holding behind his back. She dropped her 9mm and took it in her hands. He flinched.[/i]

Fox: Stop it.

Jaudiar: I'm not going to let this hurt you.

[i]Despite his protest, she ripped open the gauntlet and exposed the burned flesh......she passed a hand over it quietly.[/i][/COLOR]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]As the burn healed, Fox winced in momentary pain. Then the ship landed, opening the door. As Fox had suspected, his data had been examined by every bounty hunter and criminal in the planet's range. And it was all the work of whoever his bounty was. Fox pushed Jaudiar away, taking a bullet in his shoulder as fifteen bounty seekers fired at him. He drew his longsword, blocking more bullets and firing some of his own, killing three of the hunters and wounding two. Two more fell dead as Jaudiar recovered her 9mm and began firing from behind Fox, who ordered her to either get behind a shield or stop firing.[/i]

[b]Fox:[/b]Jaudiar, get behind the door, but stay even with me. Or stop firing completely. I'd rather have fifteen enemies in front than one friend picking them off from behind.

[i]Jaudiar got behind the door, even with him, and helped pick them off as they continued firing. Fox took another bullet in his leg, which drove him into his rage. His body once again engulfed in the red-orange fire that refused to burn his clothing. He rushed forward as everyone stopped firing in amazement. Fox jumped into the air, a pair of razor-sharp, fiery wings springing from his back and slashing the heads from two of the remaining hunters. He punched through two more, tearing their hearts out as he landed from his jump. The two wounded were underneath him as he landed, crushed by the force of his landing. The remaining four fired point-blank into him, where he fell, apparently dead. The four breathed relief at the fact that they lived as the body burned into ashes before their eyes. They turned around, but stopped as they saw the ashes begin to move. Suddenly, a fiery creature burst from within them, flaring his wings and killing the four hunters. Suddenly, the fire around his body ebbed, and Fox returned to his original form, clothing and all. Jaudiar dropped her gun and ran to his side as he collapsed, clutching the various wounds on his body that were slowly healing. He smiled once before passing out, his breathing shallow and his blood oozing from various wounds that couldn't heal.[/i]

[b]Fox:[/b]I....win.....

[i]He raised his hand in a symbol of victory, something he learned from a man named Spike Spiegel.

[b]Fox:[/b]Bang....[/i][/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue]Jaudiar: EYAHH!!

[i]She screamed and arched her back, fangs ripping from her gums....tearing flesh from flesh.....in that instant, she had leapt over Fox's prone form and landed on all fours, half cat, half human...the last of the bounty hunters appeared....only to come face to face with the smouldering red eyes of a feral animal. In that moment, he felt the pupils of her eyes slit into nothing, and his life ebbed away before his eyes....

Blood. Fresh blood, rolling down her tounge...it was heaven. Sweet and hot.....a hot thing.

Her eyes reverted and her fangs disapeared.....she gasped for air...then sank to her knees. Energy expended....but still concious, she rolled over and touched Fox's chest...still breathing.[/i]

Jaudiar: Sleep well Phoenix....they are gone for now.

Fox: .........

Jaudiar: And I remember now why I ran away.

[i]Glasses breaking, ice spilling across the floor. Eyes reverting.

"You animal."
"Freak!"
"You're nothing at all!"

....no, she was something. Fong had proved it, brought it out, exorced it. And she was eternally grateful. She owed him a debt that would spill over into several lifetimes. And now her life force was bound to one who would be reborn forever.[/i][/COLOR]

[Talon]

[i][color=teal]Fox awoke slowly, his blood still burning, three hours later. He coughed blood as his wounds finally closed over with help from Jaudiar. He struggled to his feet, moving into a town nearby. As he traced the shield around the [u]Alaris[/u], he felt the wings of fire fold from his back without the flames, exposing themselves as iridescent emerald wings. HE beat the air softly as people ran from his, his eyes gleaming that cold crystal-blue. He walked into an inn with Jaudiar helping him, his body still weak from the transformation. He ordered a room, set himself up in the two-person bed, which was extremely hard, and invited Jaudiar to join him. He folded his wings around himself after removing his shirt, falling fast asleep as he breathed still more shallowly than ever, yet feeling a lifelink between himself and Jaudiar. And he could never die unless he wished it, which meant that the Hellcat was immortal as long he he wished to live...[/i][/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue]Jaudiar: You're not going to die on me.....ever.

[i]He breathed lightly, and suffered.....she pressed her mouth down onto his, breathing life into him.....he inhaled, and exhaled. Normal. No more pain. The song echoed in his mind, and the smell of the roses permeating his senses. Jaudiar slept with his head in her lap, Fox as peaceful as a baby. When she woke up, he was still breathing normally, and her shoulders relaxed. Her dreams had been null. Fox opened one eye slowly.[/i]

Fox: You smell wonderful.

Jaudiar: It's a curse......my body was born like it...as compensation for my feral self.

Fox: I wouldn't worry about it.

Jaudiar: Heh, personal trademark y'see.[/COLOR]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Fox lightly traced her lips with his fingertip, then kissed his fingers and moved them back up to her lips. He kissed her lightly, then moved up to the window. He looked outside and saw more bounty hunters heading for the inn. He sighed and pulled out an ancient amulet he'd been given by his father, an amulet that could bring out his Flare-self with impunity. Suddenly, his body melded into the Pheonix, but some residual energy entered Jaudiar's body as well, transforming her into the second Pheonix in the galaxy. Fox looked concerned, wondering if her body could handle the new Etherflames it was engulfed in...[/i][/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Pain. Embracing......turning the blood within her veins to fire. Flames licking at her skin, setteling at her shoulder blades...searing the flesh inside out.....She screamed aloud, and her world shattered.

Quicker than lightning, her body melted to the ground and morphed completely into the tiger form for the first time. Crimson body, stripes of black, framed with wreathes of fire....curling around wings of a bat. Jaudiar moaned, then fell headlong the change. Her mouth wouldn't allow her to speak, but it was no longer necessary. Pain was replaced with pleasure. Blood cooled to a cold fire.[/i]

Pheonix: Beautiful.

Jaudiar: ...*soft purr* .....

Pheonix: Are you ready?

[i]She tipped the ground with her wings lightly.....and bared her enlongated fangs.....The soft "snick" announced the reapperence of five inch iron claws...[/i][/COLOR]

It is a lovely night the moon is full and the stars are twinkling Quatre is sitting in the Town?s Nature Park looking around the park, then a couple walk bye and lie on the grass near him looking in to the sky and he hears them saying to each other ?It?s a Lovely night out to night. Yea?..? The couple start to kiss Quatre looks over and walks off talking to him self ? I am dedicated to my job you will never find me doing some thing like that!? Quatre stats to walk home.

At Quatre?s home his friend also partner Jean is sitting in their living room and says to Quatre ?Did you find any bounties out there?? ?Nope Jean? Why,? ?Why What? ? Why can?t I have some one to love? ?I don?t know well there are some things about you that are annoying, but sooner or latter you will find the one, the one who will love you for you!? ?When will I? ?Well I like you but I do find you annoying so just wait she will come sooner or latter? Quatre Gets a tear in his eye at that moment ?Quatre what?s wrong?? ?Nothing.. Nothing, Just something in my eye? With that Quatre walks off to his room with his head hanging low.

The next morning Jean bursts in to Quatre?s room Yelling ?Quatre Get up! Quatre! Get up!? Jean pulls the covers off Quatre?s head and says ?Get up? Quatre bulls the covers over his head ?I have just found out about another bounty and the location of the person!? Quatre sits up and says ?Right now meet me at the car in 15 minutes, this bounty is ours? Jean walks out the room, Quatre Jumps out of bed and throws his trousers, shirt and his jacket on, Quatre then walks out to the weapons room and stocks up on his weponary Quatre then yells ?Jean have you seen my gun? Jean runs in to the room and says ?It is in the hidden draw on the left? ?Thanks Jean? Quatre then picks up his gun puts it in to his gun holder and says ?Right now lets go and get this bounty? Quatre and Jean Walk to the car Jean says to Quatre ?He is at the New land bank? Quatre turns the car on and floors the accelerator. Quatre and Jean start talking on there way to the New Land Bank and the subject moves to love Quatre asks Jean ?What is love?? Jean replyes with ?Well love is???? happiness and Families that type of thing? ?Well thanks that was a lot of help!? ?Well its hard to explain? ?Yeah well thanks for the help? Jean suddenly sees the turn off and yells to Quatre ?there is the turn? At the Bank The person with the bounty on their head was holding a bank robbery, Quatre And Jean sneak in threw the pack of the bank and Jean runs off ahead, Jean get seen and have a shoot off with the person with the bounty on his head, Then Quatre sneaks round behind the person with the bounty on his head and says to him ?Leave her alone your mine? the man turns round and shoots towards Quatre and Quatre goes to dive out the way and just before he sees a woman entering the bank with a gun out and shoots the bullet out the way and then shoots the man in the leg so the man falls on the floor, Quatre is just standing there staring at the woman, she walks over towards Quatre and as she walks near him his heart starts to beat faster and faster, the woman says to Quatre ?Are you ok? Quatre goes to talk to her and ??????? Quatre just cant talk to her.

Latter on at Quatre?s house jean says to him ?Well that was a waist that woman took the bounty? She then looks at Quatre and he is just sitting there day dreaming ?Hello Quatre? Quatre then just says ?I think I am in love? ?What!!? ?That woman earlier? ?The one who took are bounty? ?Yeah, When think of her I get a funny feeling I have never felt before? ?Dose is make you feel weird? ?Yeah? ?Quatre that must mean you are in love!?.

Quatre is at his home sitting at the table, starring at the sealing the morning
after he met the woman who saved his life Jean walk in to the room and says
to Quatre ?What?s up? Quatre replies with ?Just thinking about her? Jean sits
at the table in front of Quatre and says ?Well that?s the way love goes? jean
stands up and says ?I just found a bounty on mars? Quatre looks up and says
?Well?.? He stands up and finishes off what he was saying ?What are we sitting
here for?? Jean & Quatre walk in top the garage and Jean looks over Quatre
and says ?Your ship is ready to go? Quatre looks over the garage and sees his
ship and says ?The Pheonix, you?re in really good condition girl? Jean looks
at Quatre and says ?well you finally gave the ship a name? Quatre looked at
Jean and said ?well what?s keeping us?? so Quatre and Jean got in to the Pheonix
and took off for Mars.

[Talon]

[i][color=teal]Pheonix dove from the window, flaring his wings and landing in a fierce whirlwind of fire. He hear a flaring and a soft "click" behind him and knew Jaudiar had followed him out. The hunters turned and ran for their lives.[/i]

[b]Hunter#1:[/b]Run! Demons!

[b]Hunter#2:[/b]The gods of fire! Run!
