His hands echoed dully in the air...Riona was gasping for air..the words spoken drove her to tears....and froze her soul...

Jaudiar: Have a nice day.

Rajaah: *bows*

The rose in the ground flickered white, then disapeared...along with Jaudiar and Rajaah. The scent was gone, but the words of the song chased themselves endlessly through Rion's mind...

When Riona finally looked up she found herself alone again, for the group that had been there just before Jaudiar and Rajaah appeared seemed to have disappeared as well. They had, in fact done just that, and were now leaving the forest and heading back to Ari's residence...

Karina: Valen, what was the meaning of that!?

Valen: I was just stating facts that she needed to know! This forest is your domain and home, not hers...

Karina: Look as much as you wanted to help I can very easily defend for myself...

She looked down at the ground for a moment and sighed, before looking up at him again.

Karina: ...Thanks Valen

Ari: Ok guys we are nearing my cottage, luckily for you guys my parents had to go back home to handle an emergency at work and won't be back for a week or so.

Karina: So they can stay here too?

Ari: Yeah...Thats the plan, if they want to that is.

Ari reached into the pocket of her shorts and took out her keys. As soon as they reached the front door she looked back at them, gave them a weird "I dont believe this" look before unlocking, and opening the door. She walked inside, followed by Vahn. Valen and Karina looked around them and took in their surroundings. Karina hadnt had much of a chance beforehand to take a good look around before rushing off with Ari. Ari leaned her staff up against the wall, then she turned to them.

Ari: Come on in, it's not exactly "clean" right now, you can hang your... cloaks in the closet... well um...

She struggled with her words, but couldn't think of anything else to say or do, so she left the room.

First of all, Riona does not cuss so do not have me cussing on this RPG! Second of all sorry about playing Ari and Vahn. Valen really sorry I guess I missed that part in the sign ups, anyways a thousand apologies!
***********************************************
Riona sat down very confused, this has got to be the weirdest day she had ever had in her life. First there are people in the forest when there haven't been for years, then one of them tells her off for saying it was her forest, then saying that the twenty year old looking Karina is like a thousand years old or something and that this forest is Karina's. Then to add on top of that some bozos come out of thin air and start singing a song that seared her body with pain, then they all disappear.

Riona: That was weird *looks up at the cloudy sky, it was sunset* to weird, I must have been dreaming

But she knew she wasn't, the pain was to real and the song, she knew she had heard it before, sometime long ago. Riona got up then searched the area for tracks, she found them, then headed after Vahn. Later on she saw them go into a cottage, she was nervous, she had never apologized before. She ran to the door, before they could say anything she started talking

Riona: I'm sorry I said it was my forest, but I've lived her so long, I got used to thinking it was mine, I mean why wouldn't I think that it belonged to someone who lived a thousand and something years ago, and why wouldn't I think that they would come back and say they wanted it back. But anyways I just wanted to say sorry and that I won't call it mine anymore. I'm sorry it is just that I have to live here in hiding or else they will find me, so just sorr....

But just then Riona stopped, her body went rigid, she could feel herself changing, before them, her nose grew longer, legs shorter, furrier, then it all stopped. Riona knew what had just happened, she had become a werewolf, right infront of them, her worst fear had come true, someone knew her secret! Kill them! Kill them! she thought, but she couldn't. Even if they didn't think so, they were her friends. So she made herself stop growling at them and turned around, and walked slowly down the front path, tail between legs and ears drooping. What was she going to do?

From the sycamore trees, the sorcerous duo watched the werewolf slinking away....Jaudiar fingered the snake head of her staff quietly....she had a mind to blast it into the midnight sky...but it wouldn't exactly be fair. Rajaah touched her hand, shaking his head quickly. She grimaced and released her death grip on it. The two continued to observe the werewolf...who was whining softly to herself...and wishing she was dead.

Jaudiar: ....give me five seconds alone with her.

Rajaah: *whisper* Don't. The others will come.

Jaudiar: Try and stop me.
Spirit of Galeigh,
Lingh Redeyes,
Prince of the lands beyond,,,
Come to my aid,
Be one with the soul.

A soft song began...silently grazing through the bushes, whispering through the trees, shaking the leaves of flowers...the werewolf's ears pricked and she looked around fearfully. There was a strange presence, following her...and she whirled around. Two immense red eyes were boring into hers, and she yelped. A fully grown Galeigh wolf stepped into the moonlight, head raised, black coat shinning....his voice rumbled softly and the song ended. Riona was terrified....and stood stock still.

Jaudiar: Don't kill her....take her for a run.

Lingh: ....I will.

He bared his fangs, then wrinkled his nose at her...then he brushed around her body, inhaling her scent.

Kain walks through a forest when he hears voices in the distance. He comes up to a cottage he looks through the window and sees 4 people inside. Then when he turns back he sees a werewolf walking down the forest path.Kain enters the cottage silently and when he does the four look at him.

Vahn: Who are you?

Kain looks at Vahn. His dark eyes driving Vahn back.Kain looks deep within Vahn sending a bone chilling shock through his body.

Kain: You do not recognise me?Even I have heard the stories about me.I have many names. The most popular is demon warrior.

Valen: That is only a simple legend.

Kain: I am no legend.

Vahn: If you are no legend then you would have no problem defeating us.

Kain: I was going to kill you any way.....

Valen and Vahn strike together but they hit nothing but air and Kain stands in the same spot not moving.

Kain: Is this the best you can do.

Valen: We're just getting started.

They strike Kain again and again. Not one strike hits.An arrow is fired from a corner in the cottage. The real Kain walks out from the shadows and draws his sword.

Kain: That was only a shadow you fools. Now let us see how you fare against the real Kain.

Kain is no more than a blur.He strikes Valen first cutting his arm. Then he strikes Vahn and cuts his left leg. This goes on for at least ten minutes. Both warriors are barely alive.Almost every palce on their bodies are wounded.

Kain: We will meet again.....:demon:

IC:

Valen gets up as if nothing happened, wounds healed completely. Valen's eyes glow a crimson red as he draws his Sword of Vaelen.

Valen: No Kain, we shall not meet again... this ends NOW!

Valen charged his sword as Kain looked on and began to laugh.

Kain: ... And what do you think you can do to stop me?

Valen: Well, let's put it this way...

Before Valen could finish his sentence, he had already charged at Kain delivering twenty to thirty blows to Kain's upper torso and thighs, just as Kain had done to Vahn. Shortly following the assault, Valen held out his hand, almost as if wanting to help Kain up. Kain smirked at Valen's sad attempt to stop him. He got up and turned to Vahn, Karina, and Ari.

Kain: You're next!

But before Kain could put his arm down, Valen had taken Kain by surprise from behind with a slash to the back of the neck.

Valen: Another one bites the dust... now get the hell out!

Valen pushed Kain to the door and with his sword, raised Kain as if by levitation and tossed him out into the forest that surrounded them.

Karina: Valen! Come over here, quick!

Valen rushed over to where Karina had Vahn propped up against the wall.

Valen: How is he?

Just after Kain had been tossed out, Ari ran over to the door, slammed it shut, and locked it. For good measure she put a chair under the doorknob.

Ari: Ok the doors locked!

Ari ran back over to Valen and Karina who were examineing Vahn. She couldnt see Vahn yet, but she wasnt sure that she wanted to. But she swallowed her fear and came up alongside Karina and, held in a scream. Vahns black shirt and pants was shredded in places, revealing the horrible bloody gashes created by the blade as it had bitten into his flesh. She looked at the wall and saw blood tricking down the white paint in tiny streams of red to puddle upon the wooden floor. Ari backed away, she spoke, but her voice was hardly above a whisper.

Ari: I think I'm gonna be sick.

Karina trembled slightly, the nightmare that she had been having ever since that fateful day came back loud and clear to haunt her... She suddenly saw the final battle occuring, she sound of the waterfall boomed in her ears.Every detail was there, as if she was reliving that terrible nightmare. She saw the fight to the death between Lacrox and Valen, then moments later she saw Lacroix's blade bite into Valen, she watched her friend... The one who sat next to her now. Die right before her eyes... and her unable to help. She wouldn't let that happen ever again! She turned to Valen.

Karina: He's losing alot of blood Valen, if we dont do something quick he's going to die...

Valen: Cant you use your healing energy?

Karina: I can try Valen... I have to see how severe the wounds are, help me take his shirt off, but be gentle.

Ari looked about ready to pass out at any moment from fear, Karina saw her discomfort and wanted to do something about it.

Karina: Ari? I know how you dont want to see this, so san you get us a bucket of water and a washcloth? Hurry please!

Ari didnt need to be told twice, she took off quickly to fetch the things that were requested. Karina and Valen gently pulled the tattered garment off of Vahn to reveal the deep, raw, red, wounds that covered his upper torso. Karina noticed Valen tense up slightly next to her and Karina resisted the urge to gasp in shock. She had expected the wounds to be bad, but she hadnt expected them to be this bad. Her energy wasnt yet at 100% so she didnt want to use up every bit of healing energy she had, it would take a long time to get it back, even though this boy was special. Luckily the bleeding had slowed down just a tad. Ari then returned with the bucket and cloth, and when she looked down at Vahn she nearly dropped the bucket.

Karina: Ari I have one more thing to ask you. do you have anything that might work as bandaging if my healing magic doesnt work?

Ari: .....ok I think so, theres the first aid kit!

Ari ran off, tears starting to sting her eyes.

Karina: Ok Valen, lets put him on his side...

Valen: Yes I know the drill

They gently lay Vahn down on the floor and rolled him onto his side, hopeing to not hurt him any more than what was nessessary. Karina grabbed a washcloth, dunked it into the bucket and started to wipe the blood away from the open wounds. Had Vahn been conscious when she applied the cloth he most likely would have been yelling out. But he wasnt awake, and that was making Karina increasingly nervous. Soon the water was tainted red. Ari returned with a fair sized first aid kit.

Karina: Man youre parents were ready for anything! look at this stuff!

Ari: yeah... they are slightly paranoid when it comes to that kind of thing...

Ari shifted around, getting increaingly worried and upset Karina noticed her worry again. She had done her part.

Karina: Ari. Upstairs. Now. youve done your part, I know this is a terrible thing to witness so get out of here ok?

Ari ran off upstairs, she didnt look back. Karina sighed and dug out a package of gauze, she tossed it to Valen.

Karina: Ok Valen, I'm gonna try it now, if it doesnt work... well lets just hope it does...

She held her hands out, the palms just inches from Vahn's chest, she closed her eyes for a moment and focused. Her palms started glowing a faint blue, but nothing seemed to be happening... suddenly the window behind them burst open, and pure white snowflakes flew inside... in the middle of july no less! Karina didnt even flinch as the snow started falling around them, or on top of Vahn, as they pure cold white snow touched a wound it would heal it slightly. She continued to hold her hands out no matter what, as more snow flew inside and swirled around them. Karina knew that this attack was weaker then it usually should have been but it couldnt be helped, she was using almost all of the energy that she had been restoring slowly all in this one heal. Karina suddenly stopped, and the snow stopped flowing inside. She fell foreward trying to catch her breath.

Karina: Valen... did... it work?

Valen: I.... don't..... know......

Valen hoped that the worst was over from this attack. From the loss of blood, it wasn't certain if Vahn would make it or not. Karina wiped the blood that had dried from his torso while Valen sprinkled water on Vahn's forehead to keep his temperature down.

After a little wiping the dried blood away, Valen and Karina bandaged up some of the more severe wounds and continued to try and keep his temperature down. The more they did this, the better Vahn seemed to become... Not very much better, but better enough to notice certain things like his heart rate begin to pick up again. Valen felt Vahn's chest right around the breastbone and felt his heart beating at a normal rate once again.

Valen: Karina....

Karina: ........Yes?

Valen: So far, he's going to be fine... he may be out of it for a few more hours, because of the blood loss. But I'll stay here and watch him. Can you go tell Ari?

Karina: Sure.

Valen: Thanks...

Karina goes upstairs to Ari's room to tell her the good news.

Far away from the worries of Karina, Valen, and the others....Jaudiar and Rajaah stood still. On the cliffs of Turn, the two were waiting for a sign...the moon was rising into the sky, filling the area around them with a quiet humming. Rajaah turned to Jaudiar, a strange look upon his face.

Rajaah: Why do you embrace the darkness?

Jaudiar: My sister is Ananda, the Sevenstared lady of Elbereth. She is joy, happiness, hope...everything I am not. I am darkness, shadow, and chaos. Why do you think I love this? Lingh Redeyes is despair, fear, everything the wolf shows.

Rajaah: And yet you still cling to your honor...

Jaudiar: She told me to. And I will.

Rajaah: ....you are more complex than you know.

Jaudiar: Thank you Rajaah. Do you ever wish you were in another time and place?

Rajaah: ....no.

She searched his eyes with her own. The magic took control again, reducing him to complete subservience. Jaudiar smiled thinly. She might have her honor, and everything else....and then there was Rajaah. As to why she kept him...she does not wish to understand. She could easily order him to impale himself, but where would the fun be in that?

Karina stumbled up the staircase, slightly dizzy from the sudden energy drain. But she managed pretty well. She was much happier now that she knew Vahn would be ok. She knocked on Ari's door and slowly opened it, she looked around for Ari in the dimly lit room, and spotted her upon her bed, her head underneath her pillow. Ari's shoulders shook with her silent sobs of fear, anger, and sadness. Karina quietly crept across the room and took a seat on the bed. She tapped Ari on the shoulder and startled her. Ari pulled her head out from under the pillow and faced Karina, even in the faint light Karina could see that she had been crying.

Ari: h...h..hows Vahn?

Karina: Hes ok, he's still unconscious, but we think hes going to be alright... you ok?

Ari nodded, she seemed slightly more at ease now that she had heard the news. Karina smiled at the girl.

Karina: ...Yeah well as much as I want to stick around, I'm going back downstairs to talk with Valen, then I'm going to my room. I just wanted to let you know... you know because of how freaked out you were before.

Ari smiled at Karina.

Ari: Thanks for telling me.

Karina: Hey whats a ....many greats, grandmother for?

They both had a good laugh and Karina left Ari, feeling... well happy. She came back downstairs, even though she knew she should have been resting... But since when has Karina done what she was supposed to? She went into the rec room and saw where Valen had moved Vahn...the couch. Valen was sitting on a chair nearby, his eyes were closed, he was ether in deep meditation or, he was asleep, it was too hard to tell. Karina turned around and went back upstairs, she didnt want to disturb them.

Karina: Goodnight guys...

Tranquilly looking onward into the undying night sky, Rajaah looks over at Jaudiar with a bewildered expression flushing over his usually detached face.

Rajaah: Your Chaos? But you seem to have an ordered darkness to you, that is one of the superior aspects of your very existence Jaudiar.

Jaudiar stood still staring into the darkness so familiar to her while still listening she pondered to her self.

Rajaah: If you don't mind, what plans for them do you have my lady? Should I arrange a chamber of them or do you not want them to become part of my walking dead?

No....she wouldn't give up the very core of her Starseed magic. It just wouldn't be right. Jaudiar gazed into Rajaah's eyes....her soul rose softly into her mouth..and she touched a hand to it.....bringing out a sharp daimond-like crystal. It rose into the air, posessed of a life of its own...and gave forth a metallic sound. As soon as it noticed Rajaah, the magic inside of it glowed brightly....black, dark... This thing.... sucked the life out of the air around it....and inside the facets, Rajaah could see his own distorted reflection.

Rajaah: You.....you have a starseed.

Jaudiar: Yes. It was cultivated from the gardens of Moonwing. She knew I was coming...and planted it for me. But when it gave a black rose instead of a white one, she despaired.

Rajaah: I don't understannd how it lived. It should've failed when you went out.

Jaudiar: I took it for my own. They couldn't deny me the right.

She raised both hands into the air and snatched it bck down to earth. It struggled breifly, but then disapeared back into her mouth. The sound it gave off quickly was absorbed back into Jaudiar. She smiled breifly...life was so frail. But Starseeds were even worse. Rajaah looked at her, an expression of wonder on his face...he had never beheld one so dark before....

Kain lay outside laughing. He was twisted inside. The demon inside him was telling him to get up and destroy them.Yet he didn't.He was thiniking about the pain he felt in his body.He began to stand up and enter the cottage agin and destroy them but then he had to think.

Kain: What fun would I have killing them so quickly.Later....

Kain faded into the darkness of the night. He walked for some time until he came across a small pond.He washed the blood off his hands then jumped in himself. The pond soon turned blood red.Kain got out of the pond and wiped hair out of his face.

Kain: Where should I go from here?Maybe I should check for any towns nearby.

Kain walks off again.Ignoring the slashes over his body.

It was like a church. The same dedicated following attended almost ritually, clasping their hands and muttering incantations to a melodic rhythm. They were sweaty, gritty, naughty. Throngs of followers pushed towards the stage, countless piercing dotting their bodies, tattoos hiding their flesh like camouflage.

Axle North stood poised on stage, his eyelids partly lowered, his ears covered with headphones, his body sheathed in tight-fitting leather. He was barely visible. What was visible was guarded and hostile, his upper lip frozen in a mean double curl, a natural snarl.

He and his band, God North, fascinated them to no end. They held the appeal of a walking hard-on, but there was something more hidden deep underneath their vulgar exterior--they held the ability to turn self-effacement into a weapon.

Axle wasn't Christ, he didn't preach. He waved to the band and ignored the legions' desperate pleas for an encore. Bathed in a thin layer of sweat, he peeled off his clothing, shedding it like a snake would its skin. He was a nasty-faced genius punk, but he never asked for anything.

Gingerly he lit a cigarette, inhaled the pungent poison, and watched the blue smoke rise about him, lingering, clinging to his smelly body. The building was still shaking--they were still there, pleading, crying, kicking, screaming. He wouldn't accommodate them--he had bigger fish on his plate.

As he expected, Roxanne was waiting for him, in his office.

"Babe, look, I told you last time, I don't want you in here," he said seizing her arm angrily.

She purred like a kitten and licked his face. Wrapping one leg around his waist, she removed the cigarette from his mouth, put it in her own, and whispered thickly, "I've been bad Axel. Teach me a lesson."

He stared at her the same way he would an enemy. In effect, women were his enemies. They always betrayed him. He pushed her to the ground and said, "There's only three orders I take from women. Faster, faster, harder, harder and don't stop, don't stop. Out with ya."

She just laughed, wasn't really there. He could tell she was stoned--Roxanne had become a liability. The boys would take care of her, would make it look clean. Maybe her family could enjoy an open casket viewing--if she had a family. For now, he was more occupied with the envelope resting on his desk.

Inside, the words jumped out like they were encrypted on a tombstone:

Target: Jaudiar Sevenstar

Possesses formidable magic prowess. Skilled in martial arts. Dispose of with necessary precautions.

Axel closed the envelop and walked out of his office...eluding the adoring crowds. Jaudiar waited patiently by the cliffs...Rajaah sat nearby, enveloped with his own thoughts. She smiled thinly. Somebody was coming.

Time went by.....The moon waxed and wanned. Another night began, and a full moon was rising. Jaudiar had disrobed and was standing perfectly still. Black leather and a silver gorget. Rajaah had disapeared. Conviniently enough, she had told him to go meditate...and he had done so. She was ready. Her robe was waiting for her underneath the caves...and her staff was planted into the ground, the snake encircling it was waiting as well. Eyes flickering....red. Just like his mistress.

Axel: So....*grinds out cigarette* ...you're Jaudiar.

She tensed herself, he had come up behind her so quickly...and yet the scent he carried was more than enough to announce himself to her. The mage didn't bother giving him the honor of facing her. It was too much. The words flew out of her mouth so quickly, she could hardly believe she had spoken them. A rose appeared in her hand and she flicked it over her shoulder...

Jaudiar: Correct for twenty points. You must be the famous...Axel North.

Axel: Famous?

Jaudiar: Nevermind. So tell me please....why are you here? Besides to stare at my åss.

Axel: To kill you. I've been told that you're good at magic...

Jaudiar: Hardly. There are those better than me. Those who actualy train for reasons other than pure happiness.

Axel: Do you have any idea why I would come out here to kill you?

Jaudiar: *shrug* It's a living.

At the same time she spoke, she turned around easily...her ballet training served her well, easing her into the movements. It was effortless....this mode of appearence...and she relished it. Axel cocked one eyebrow. The picture had hardly done her any justice at all. She was pretty. Very pretty. Jaudiar grimaced and withdrew her hands from his mind. It wasn't worth it. She hissed through her teeth and the staff in her hands reacted the same way.

Jaudiar: I'm afraid...my dear Axel...that I'm going to be very hard to kill.

She made her way upstairs as quietly as possible so she wouldn't disturb Valen and Vahn. She went into her room, and instead of going to bed she passed right by it, went over to the window and opened it, letting the warm summers breeze flow inside. Even though she disliked heat of any kind, a gentle warm breeze she could stand. She hopped up onto the windowsill, and stared at the dark night sky. She had no idea to why the beautiful stars and moon would want to hide during the day. She turned her gaze directly downward to the ground just two stories below, it wasn't exactly that much of a drop, she could easily land it if she jumped. But she wasn't interested in leaving at the moment. She took her bag of throwing stars and placed them next to her on the sill.

Karina(whispering): Well at least one problem is solved, for now that is. I wonder why that weirdo attacked? This is starting to remind me of when I first met up with Valen and the others... And it all happened just over there.

She turned her gaze to an area up on the mountainside almost invisible in the dark. There, that very area was where she found the blessing... or a curse, whichever way you looked at it, of actually finding a way to find a way to avenge her parents deaths.

Karina: Who knew? I never thought we could actually do it...

Moments passed, as the night grew darker, Rajaah had sensed a strong presence approaching Jaudiar but he would not intervene this time she could call upon him at anytime she wished and he knew this. Rajaah paused for a moment looking down at his blades.

Wailing Death: Ra?jaah!

Rajaah: Yes father.

Wailing Death: Ra?jaah!

The black runic blade rose up from the ground lightly glowing a faint grayish color as it spins rapidly about. The howling from the cutting winds it suddenly stops as the blade pointed east.

Wailing Death: Kill! Ra?jaah! KILL! Them!

Rajaah: Karina? I wonder what he wants with her?

Rajaah look over at the moon smiling wickedly.

Rajaah: I'd best check out how Jaudiar is doing, but I'll stay out until she calls on me.

Rajaah: Show me father! Who!

The runes encrusting the blade howled with enormous power crackling gradually forming what seemed to be a mirror, inside this mirror an image appeared.

Rajaah: who is this father?

Wailing Death: Kar?.ina!

Rajaah: Very well father but not now!

Wailing Death: SOON!

Rajaah: Clam yourself father, yes soon.

Wailing Death: Good.

As Valen snoozed, somehow he remembered everything that has ever happened to him in the past... Why he remembered now? Who knows... Perhaps it was the attack on Vahn? Maybe, maybe not... all he knew was he remembered everything...

Valen twitched and awoke from his nap, immediately looking at Vahn as if something had happened... or is going to happen...

Valen: I've got a bad feeling about tonight... Those three... appearing all in one day? That's a little strange... oh well, but maybe that's just me...

Valen got up to make sure Vahn was doing alright, which he was. Valen sighed and sat next to Vahn in Karina's usual spot by the bay window looking out the window at the scarlet full moon.

Valen: I hope this isn't the start of anything bad...

This is a dream, a nightmare that's it! Riona had been thinking over what had happened today. When she heard a cruel laugh split the air and her thoughts. That was weird as she ran in the direction of the laugh. She reached the cottage there was this man lying on the ground soaked in blood...laughing? Somehow that does fit, Riona thought as the man got up and washed in a pond, ruining it with the blood. When he was out of hearing and seeing distance she went to the window of the cottage and peered in her wet, black nose leaving a mark on the window. She saw Vahn on the couch bandaged, Valen sitting watching Vahn, and she didn't see Ari or Karina.

Riona: I'll stay here the night to make sure he's alright

She settled down outside the window peering in at Valen and Vahn, but soon enough had fallen asleep, today had been one weird day!

Karina gazed at the sky, something was bugging her though she didn't know exactly what, it was just a mere nagging feeling that something was going to happen.

Karina: Its the heat... It's getting to me.

She grabbed her bag of throwing stars, climbed back off of the windowsill and closed the window. But the feeling remained.

Karina: I wonder if Valen has sensed whatever that is... >.< I have to go for a walk...

She reattached her bag to her leather strap and went downstairs, she bothered to peer into the rec room just out of curiosity, and saw that Valen was awake. He looked up and noticed her.

Karina: ....busted.

She was frozen to the spot for a brief moment longer, she knew she had been caught, but it didnt matter. So she wandered over to Valen and Vahn and knelt down in front of the couch. She looked at the snoozeing Vahn, and put the back of her hand to his forehead and felt the teens temerature. She then turned to Valen. She got up off the floor and sat down beside him, she put her hand on his shoulder.

Karina: Sorry, I was going to take a walk... Has Vahn gotten any better Valen?

Valen: Yeah, he's doing a little better... he's still slipping in and out, but I think he'll be fine...

Valen looked over out the window and noticed something moving... He glared at it as if it was a demon of some sort...

Karina: Well, I'm going take a walk now...

Valen: Alright, be careful out there...

Valen knew something was up, but he also knew that whatever it was, Karina could handle it... Plus someone had to stay with Vahn just incase...

I hissed through my teeth, the staff in my hand begging to be changed. I let it go....and it began to vibrate with life...in that instant, it rotated twice, then transfigured itself into the alternate form. A full length bloodsword was floating in front of me...

At this point, I hesitated. The prongs were there, the hilt was in place, and my hands were ready....Axel was patient...he had plenty of time. I reached out quickly and wrapped my right hand around it...immediatly, I felt the "snick" of flesh against organic metal. The barbs sank deeply into my hands, blue blood running between my fingers. I sighed. It was speaking again.

Saitsune was prepared.
