Valen: Well, first you must learn how to hold the staff.

[i]Valen picked up the staff and showed Ari how to hold it by placing her hands in the right spot on it.[/i]

Valen: Got that part?

Ari: Yep.

Valen: Good, then we can go on to step two. Casting a spell with it.

Ari: Casting a spell? Inside?

Valen: You're right...

[i]They both go outside and finish learning how to cast a spell with the staff. He then teaches her about how to attack with one and not break the staff if she ever needed to attack. Next it was on to defense. He showed her how to defend with the staff. All this took most of the day to do, but she was a quick learner.

Later that day, they came back inside and sat down to take a rest. Valen fixed dinner for them and they promised to go look for Karina in the morning.[/i]

[i]Karina suddenly broke the silence that had been slowly driving her up-the-wall-crazy.[/i]

Karina: I wish I knew why its not healing.

Ariel: I think I've figured it out.

Karina: Oh really?

Ariel: Well see... If you're mortally wounded, you will automatically heal up... But! As long as you're not dying theres no need for you to heal like that.

Karina: ...Lets stick with that old theory of this place not allowing any magic shall we?

Ariel:... you hated that theory though!

Karina: so?

Ariel: Youre impossible!

Karina: That's what everyone says!

Ariel: (mumbling) I can see why.

[i]They stayed silent again for awhile, Karina broke in again.[/i]

Karina: I dont think were going the right way.

[i]Ariel, who had been so focused on the path, hadn't heard Karina.[/i]

Ariel: What?...

Karina: Somethings wrong... Notice how the other spirits aren't bugging us? I havent heard one screeching for the longest time... come to think of it, I haven't seen anything strange since that zombie!

Ariel: Come to think of it... You're right, it's too quiet... Wait. What was that?

[i]Ariel suddenly tensed up, as if she had heard something, Karina had heard it too and was reaching for her whip when her hand brushed over something on her band that she hadnt taken notice of before.[/i]

Karina: Whats this thing?... a pouch?

Ariel: Karina, somethings coming...

[i] Karina opened the pouch and reached inside. She felt something there were stones inside.[/i]

Karina: OMG!

Ariel: What? Karina what is it?

Karina: Its Valen's pouch.

Ariel: who's whatta?

Karina: Valen is a close friend of mine, I thought I had put this into the temple with him...

Ariel: Look as much as I love hearing you travel down memory lane, but we kind of have something coming, whatever it is, it can't hurt me but I don't want to see my daughter die!

Karina: It cant kill me ether, if you do recall!

Ariel: It can still hurt you!

Karina: Right... ok time for whatever this thing is to meet Mr. Whip!

[i]Ari sat on the floor of the rec room staring at the staff that was laying in front of her. It still didn't look like much to her, just two vines intertwined together that bound a blue orb the size of a baseball to the top. She could hardly believe that earlier she didn't know how to use it.[/i]

Ari: Hey Vahn, you think my mom will freak if she found out all the stuff that's been happening here?

Vahn: First, she would think you were crazy. Then she would freak if she saw me and Valen with you.

Ari: You do have a point there...

[i] Ari sighed then picked up her staff, examineing it as she spoke.[/i]

Ari: I wish that they weren't always working, Dad may be more understanding... Valen you may find this interesting. My father is some form of an acheologist and hes been recently trying to find info on your era. They haven't found a thing yet, except some old written text that said something briefly about some kind of "battle of elements" good vs evil thing.

[Valen]

Valen: the Battle of the Elements... Yes, I remember a bit of that battle... Go get Vahn... I feel a flashback coming on...

[i]Ari goes to get Vahn and the both of them gather around Valen for their story.[/i]

Valen: It was about 1380 or so years ago when the town I swore to protect was destroyed by three demonic people. Tyron and Visor, the two old ones that were just here, found me benieth a pile of rubble and we went on a little journey. Shortly after they found me, we met up with Karina. So the four of us went and fought monsters along the way. Our main goal was to find the source of all the destruction... all we could find were three demons destroying every town they came across. Until we met up with Wolf... he was a good warrior... silver fur... too bad he's long gone... anyway, once we all went through a few months of total hell, we finally met up with Dymonic himself... the leader of the demons... I was then killed by my father's body posessed by Lacroix, one of the demons... I don't know what happened after I died...

Ari: Wow... will you tell my father when and if he returns?

Valen: sure...

Vahn: ...

[Carren Heart]

[I]Rajaah left the crypt to allow the souls of Karina's parents to speak with her not caring what they had to say.[/I]

Wailing Death: Raj..aah! You must kill her!

Rajaah: Silence! Father! I'll kill when I'm ready.

[I]The sword dimmed down and went dominant again.[/I]

Six months later

While the two are at the Secret Headquarters of the Korean Dynasty Syndicate

[I]Viewing the two from afar through powerful magics Rajaah laughed at the two weakening creatures.[/I]

Rajaah: So my mistress, hold over me weakens with her mortal lusts. Foolish thoughts echo in the minds of the weak!

[I]Rajaah continues to watch over the two figures pathetic behaviors and how easily entertained they appear to be.[/I]

Rajaah: That's right waste your time with your petty consequences, while I grow in strength.

Wailing Death: What have you been doing while there gone Rajaah?

Rajaah: Preparing for my rebirth into power.

Wailing Death: How?

Rajaah: While they were ****ing, I was planning.

[I]Rajaah grinned, in a blindingly powerful display of unearthly magic Jaudiar sickened feeling single most powerful magical energies she has ever felt.[/I]

Jaudiar: << Screams with pain briefly >> what! HOW!?

[I]Rajaah slowly lowered his arms pulsing with unimaginable power, the world's skies grow darker as the shy gave way to a crimson moon fading slowly from view.[/I]

Rajaah: << Telepathically to Jaudiar >> hope you had a nice ****, I'm back! And you're the weaker of us now!

[Shinobi]

[i]Shin stands in pure shock, eyes as wide as basketballs his mouth also. He turns round to face the normal forest, then turns back to the dark misty graveyard that is shrouded with ice and snow! The three of them, check the surrounding area. Nothing was out of the ordinary, except from the ice and snow, gathering here when it hasnot been snowing anywhere else, it isn't even cold! The trio pondered in disbeliefwhen the felt a rumble and groan underneath them...they continued searching the freaky place...[/i]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Panic rose breifly in her chest...then was replaced with a dark burning.....this was.....the end. She screamed aloud, Starseed burning with restrained energy. All it would take was one swift summon....at a risk to her bloodline. That was unacceptable. Her rage rose higher than anything she had ever felt for Axel.

"You fool."

His insults stung her to the core, but in her heart, she knew it to be true....but that was without her child's new flow of mana....it throbbed in her veins, spurred on by the fury she was feeling.[/i]

"Keep your power, it is a shadow of your empty mind."

[i]Laughing darkly, she leaned on her snake ridden staff, her power dimming, then shimmering. Then the Starseed burst from her chest, body contorting and moving. Her chakras glowed, then meshed themselves with Rajaah's. He struggled, then felt pain.....pain like nothing before.

"One push is all it takes.....don't make me destroy you."

He winced, like a cornered animal....she had gotten him once more, this time, it was a desperation act. To use her chakras to attack him....using Shammanistic power for such a purpose...tempting fates.[/i][/COLOR]

[starlight]

[i]Karina waited in the dark for what seemed ages, waiting for any attack that might come at her from the gloom. The spirits seemed to have caught up with them again and they started to moan, as if warning them.[/i]

Ariel: Its close...

[i]As soon as she said that, two eyes as red as flame appeared in front of Karina and Ariel. A shadowy form was faintly seen, but what Karina saw was enough of it to know what it was. A demon hound. (you know those big mutated 6 foot tall monster hounds?)[/i]

Karina: Oh crap! Its a demon!

[i]The demon pawed the ground, and witout warning started to charge at her, much like a bull would. Karina dodged the demon easily as it flew past her. It skidded to a stop, and turned to face her again.[/i]

Karina: I don't think I can fight this thing! ...What am I saying?! Here demon! You want a piece of me? Then bring it!

[i]The demon charged her again, this time Karina was ready for such a move and moved to the side again as it ran past, but this time she stabbed one of her few remaining throwing stars into it's dark hide. The demon howled and whipped around at a speed that Karina didn't think that it would've been capable of. It charged, and with it's gigantic head, slammed into her and sent her flying a fair ways down the tunnel, she crashed to the rocky ground and managed to roll out of it's path. She pulled herself to her feet just in time to be smashed again from behind, and was sent flying down the tunnel again. She got to her feet yet again, and just barly escaped another blow from behind. She turned to face the beast.[/i]

Karina: Oh so you want to play it that way huh?

[i]Karina pulled out her whip and waited until it came into her range, and managed to whip the demon across the back of its neck as it charged past, the whip wrapped around its neck, creating a noose and choking it. Karina pulled as hard as she could and shortened the length. She leapt onto the demons back and pulled the handle of the whip as hard as she knew how. Once the demon felt the noose tighten it started shaking and bucking, much like the griffin had before, when she had jumped on top of it.[/i]

Karina: Aw dam not another one that likes shaking! What is it with me and these things!?

[i]Karina continued to hold onto her end of the whip for dear life. She could feel the demon starting to weaken. She didn't mean to loosen her grip, but she did, and the demonic hound felt weakness in it's restraints, and so with one final shake, it managed to shake Karina free and sent her crashing into the ground.[/i]

Karina: I'm ok! The ground seems to have broken my fall, yet again!

Ariel: Karina move out of the way!

[i]Karina saw the beast, but it was too late for her react fast enough to do anything now. The hound had changed its attack stratagy, for it now lunged at her, lashed out out with its paw and slashed her side open with its razor-sharp claws. Karina let out a cry of pain as she felt it's claws dig into her flesh.[/i]

Ariel: Karina!

Karina: Mom can you zippit for a moment? I'm kind of busy right now!

[i]Karina saw that the demon had shaken her whip free and it lay a short distance away from her. Karina dashed for it, but the demon saw what she was going to do and came around back to try and stop her from retriving it.[/i]

Karina: I dont think so buddy!

[i]Karina dove for the weapon, she grabbed it and managed to roll out of the demons path just seconds before the demon barreled past again, had she not moved it would have trampled her. Karina coiled the whip up again and grabbed a bunch of throwing stars.[/i]

Karina: Ok new plan

[i]Karina stepped out into the middle of the tunnel and prepared herself. She waited until she could see the red of the demons eyes comming at her again before she quickly took aim and fired two throwing stars into its eyes. The beast screamed and stopped, it was blind.[/i]

Karina: Ok time to RUN!!

Ariel: Follow me!

[i]Karina started running after Ariel as fast as she could manage. She forgot the pain, she was running on pure adrenaline now. She followed Ariel, down many corridors, twisting left and right. But no matter how fast, or far she seemed to run the moaning lost spirits always managed to keep up. Karina stopped running after awhile, and leaned against the wall, catching her breath and holding her bleeding side.[/i]

Ariel: We are getting so close! Please Karina, lets move!

Karina: I can't keep running, can we please stop?

Ariel: Karina we are getting so close! Can't you sense the light?

Karina: In all honesty... no

Ariel: Fine we can stop... oh my goodness! Karina you've been hurt again!

[i]Karina shrugged and stayed silent for awhile, not thinking of anything except getting out and getting back to Valen, Ari, and Vahn. She suddenly spoke.[/i]

Karina: Do you think we lost it?

Ariel: Hard to tell...

???: Yes you two are now out of harm's way.

Ariel: Dolosus! How did you find us?

[i]Dolosus flickered into appearence and smiled.[/i]

Dolosus: I just followed the others, it was quite easy. I saw that demon back there, it was blind, well it is blind for now. It will get it back eventually, knowing that thing... Was that your doing?

Karina: Yes

[i]Karina moved away from the wall and nodded to Ariel to start up again.[/i]

Dolosus: I'll accompany you two.

Ariel: Oh Dolosus, you don't have to.

Dolosus: But I want to, and you cannot say a thing to change my mind.

[i]Ariel shook her head and rolled her eyes.[/i]

Ariel: I suddenly feel surrounded!

[i]Ariel took the lead again followed by Karina, and then bringing up the rear, Dolosus. Karina was totally drained, and started to fall behind. The only thing keeping her going was the hope of freedom from this darkness prison. She blocked out the sounds and feel of the lost spirits as they floated around her. Unseen, but not unheard. Ariel suddenly called out happily.[/i]

Ariel: There it is! Up ahead! I know it!

[i]Karina suddenly went into a sprint for the exit. She saw it now, it was a door. A stone door....

...and it was blocked by a pile of stones, the tunnel had caved in partially, the door could no longer be opened from her side. Karina stepped forward, surveyed the damage, and shook her head, she knew she couldnt open the door from her side of it now.[/i]

Karina: no...

[i]Karina fell to her knees. Her hopes of leaving this vile place and going back were shattered. She leaned over onto a slab of rock and buried her face in her arms. The pain of the wound now completely forgotten.[/i]

Ariel: Karina... I'm so sorry...

Karina: ...Just leave me alone

[i]They faded away into the mobs of screaming spirits. Karina felt them leave, and soon faded herself, into the darkness of sleep.[/i]

[Carren Heart]

[I]Rajaah paused in thought while fighting the pain involved by the strange magic.[/I]

Rajaah: << To himself >> Foolish to think I have fallen before her again.

Rajaah: Jaudiar don't be foolish, bring herself to me and join with me! You have beaten me once and spared my life I'm do the same with you but you can keep your own will.

Jaudiar: Foolish you say I can end this now.

Rajaah: << Laughs >> while I was under your control I listened and pondered while you played kissy face with that pitiful man of yours. You never watch me and that's your folly, your powerful but must of all you're a brilliant woman you only lack control of your our fate! Appear before me before I use HELL ROT! And you know that will kill your charkas so don't be foolish.

[I]Rajaah stained at the pain but still easily held himself strong knowing of his new found power. He smiled [/I]

Rajaah: Jaudiar join with me and rule by my side.

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]"Foolish Necromancer. To think I would fall for such an act of desperation...and actually believe the words of his lying mouth."

She growled scornfullly, and released him with a painful twist. Then she levitated and quietly swooped up to his level. She paused in mid air, and then landed next to him. Jaudiar tipped her staff and concealed her swiftly tilting energy.[/i]

Rajaah: So you've finally listened to reason...

Jaudiar: .....ELMEKIA HEART!

[i]She let loose with a blast of holy magic, hands in the temporal position...palms straight out, all fingers extended beyond what was natural..... The white energy tensed around the both of them and snapped with unrestrained power. Rajaah screamed, partly in pain, partly with rage. She had released the first of her energies....and he noticed that she was slightly drained, panting. Beads of sweat formed on her forehead, and Jaudiar cursed inwardly.

"That was a mistake....damn him. Damn him to all seven hells of Circe."[/i][/COLOR]

"God damn it," Axle muttered. Gleaming panels of glass imploded, sounding off like firecrackers about the room. Initially there was the empty sound of nothingness, complete silence. For a brief second, he couldn't hear himself think. The silence was the scariest part. It made him wonder if silence was the sound of death. The following pandemonium was familiar--his life story.

Axle covered his eyes, intense white light washed out everything. It was the closest to heaven that he would ever be. Particles of glass ground into dust burned his skin.

He was the lead singer of the most notorious band in the history of the music industry, a bounty hunter. Unlike most bands, murder was their addiction. Drugs were for the weak. Axle, a man paid to take lives, wasn't prepared to make life. For an instant, he hated Jaudiar--a wave of anger swept through his body, it shook him. But, he knew that it wasn't her fault. They trapped one another in a moment of reckless lust.

"God damn it," he echoed.

He knew that he was as helpless as toothless a lion gumming a grizzly. Jaudiar's body thrived with searing jolts of energy. She lit the syndicate headquarters up like a Christmas tree. He knew that the Koreans were no longer their most potent problem. Most fled as the structure began to buckle under its own weight.

Jaudiar was down. It wasn't a good sign. It was too much. This stranger--this bastard, was trying to hurt his girl and his unborn kid. He still wasn't clear on where he stood. Maybe he would run, just leave it all behind. After all, his magic was nowhere near the caliber of this new nemesis. The door was so close, it grew as he mechanically approached it one step at a time.

Jaudiar groaned with pain as Rajaah's magic began to overcome her. Suddenly, Axle became frozen in his steps, couldn't move. If someone asked Axle if he actually cared for someone other than himself for the first time in his life, he would firmly deny it.

But, for one brief moment, he showed a sliver of compassion. It was an impulse, a reaction. His actions were almost a reflex when for the first time in his life, he did something noble.

"There it is," he said, noticing an opening, a weakness.

Axle withdrew the gun he lovingly referred to as "Ole' Betsy" and fired a flash grenade. Poetry in motion. Another burst of white light flooded the room. Some Catholics believe that lightning strikes when God is angry. On that day, the world felt the anger of man, as brilliant flashes lit up the horizon.

God North's singer didn't remember scooping Jaudiar up in his arms, cradling her. But there she was, helpless for the first time since they'd met. As the building fell behind them, the two criminals slid down a zip line. But, Axle couldn't help but to wonder, if it was their ticket to freedom, or a highway to hell.

[COLOR=royalblue][i]When she woke up, the first thing she felt was her child, moving inside of her. Good. She was still alive after the blast. Jaudiar cursed herself silently. It had been so stupid. Falling for Axel, letting a damned Necromancer loose. If her sister had been here, she would've fallen on the knife and saved herself the problem.[/i]

Jaudiar: .....thanks.

Axel: Good evening. If you could call it that.

Jaudiar: Where did Rajaah go?

Axel: Don't know. He'll be back though.

Jaudiar: Of course. I owe him for 12 years of slavery.

[i]The human looked at her like she was insane. Slavery...so that's what his beef with her was. Jaudiar looked away, completely embarassed. Sure her energy had partialy replenished itself with sleep, and her baby was still alive, and maybe.....damn it. This pregnency would slow her down like nothing else ever had. Not even three consecutive summons of Ochkik Haddah drained her like this.

Axel lit his cigarette and smirked.[/i]

Jaudiar: You shouldn't smoke, it's not good for the baby.

Axel: *grimace* Really...

Jaudiar: Not like I could stop you. Damn him. I won't be able to put up even half that fight pretty soon.[/COLOR]

[Valen]

[color=blue][i]After a few momnts of silence, Valen speaks up.[/i]

Valen: Well, what do you guys want to do?

Vahn: (almost silent) ... Walk...

Valen: What was that Vahn?

[i]Valen and Ari lean towards Vahn to hear what he had said.[/i]

Vahn: I want to walk.

Valen: I think we can do that, don't you, Ari?

Ari: I think we can.

[i]Vahn smiled as Ari and Valen helped him out of the wheelchair and onto his feet. He could barely stand, but was determined to be able to walk. They helped him for hours, and as the time went by, he got better and better at it. Eight hours into it, Vahn was able to walk a short distance. His legs were still too weak to support him for more than a couple minutes.

Over the next few days, Vahn got stronger and didn't need the wheelchair anymore. The three ate and packed food and drink for their journey to find Karina. It only took them about twenty minutes to get ready and they headed out the door. Vahn and Ari went ahead while Valen locked the door. He looked to the sky as if telling Karina that they were on their way to find her...[/i][/color]

[Shinobi]

[i]Shin runs over to the ice and snow, to feel if it was...real. He picked it up and made a snowballand pelted it off the back of Visor's bald head.[/i]

Shin: Haw haw haw!

Visor: Ok, you wanna see my snow ball?!?!

Tyron: Heh

[i]Tyron could sense what Visor was about to do next. As Visor roled up a snowball, just before it flew from his hands it was set ablaze with magical fire, amazingly it didn't melt! As he threw it, he used his powerful wind powers. The ball was moving at around 100 mph now, Shin leaped out of the way, as it crossed the graveyard and hit a tree, spliting it in half. As Shin chuckled while picking himself up off of the ground he started to sink![/i]

Shin: Visor, Tyron! HELP!!!!

[i]As he slipped under until his knee caps, Tyron and Visor sprinted to the rescue. They didn't reach in time. By now Shin had slipped down, with rocks and boulders tumbling down, then with a small topping of snow and ice. Visor and Tyron lept down the "hole" to find he had slipped down into some sort of passage![/i]

Visor: Shin! You ok?!?

Shin: I'm fine!

Tyron: That's good...but, what the hell is that?

[i]Tyron points to a large stone door infront of them. It seems that they have falen into some kind of underground lair.[/i]

Tyron: Shin you go that way, and me and Visor will examine the door

[i]Shin nods and boosts down the opposite way of the door. He comes back in a matter of minutes and reports that it leads to a latch door, above his head...it took him out to the grave yard again.[/i]

Tyron: Hmmmm

Visor: Well, i suggest that we....um....SMASH THE DOOR DOWN!

Tyron: Ah, yes, but what lurks behind this door!That is the qustion at hand!

Shin: But! It could be Aerow's "Master's" lair!

[i]AS soon as Aerow's name was mentioned Tyron frowned, and was ready to break down the door, it would some task, but he was taking it up. The two brothers ran to the door, to try brute force, when they hear a voice.[/i]

???: Just leave me alone.

[i]Visor and Tyron cock their heads and stick there ears to teh dor.[/i]

Shin: What is it?!?

Visor/Tyron: Shhhhh!

[i]But they heard no more, only small scutting and whisping noises.[/i]

Visor: Did you hear it too?

Tyron: I did, it sounded, like...KARINA!

[i] Visor gruntedand nodded and they got to work on breaking down the door...[/i]

[Carren Heart]

[I]Rajaah appeared behind the two talking.[/I]

Rajaah: Very true, Jaudiar you'll be helpless soon enough.

Axel: << Looking over at him hand on handle of his blade >> what do you want!

Rajaah: Calm yourself Axel.

[I]Axel calms slightly listening before acting.[/I]

Jaudiar: What do you want Rajaah.

Rajaah smiles proud of that fact it's now what he wants.

Rajaah: What do you think?

Jaudiar: Revenge I'd say.

Rajaah: Oh, you think so poorly of my. You ever remember wondering why you didn't kill me?

[I]Jaudiar looks over at him puzzled remembering that very thought she pondered so long ago.[/I]

Rajaah: << Grins >> I will not harm you in anyway my dear, you see your child is of great importance to me.

[I]Axel draws his blade wielding it towards Rajaah while Jaudiar looks confused and ready.[/I]

Jaudiar: Why?

Rajaah: << Grins >> Have you ever wanted to be in another time and place.

[I]Jaudiar Paused as her own words echoed in her mind. [/I]

Rajaah: i'm here to make sure that child lives Jaudiar, can you guess why?

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Pure hatred coursed through her veins, driving her replenished body into a blood frenzy. With an extreme amount of control, she stopped her Starseed's ascension into Chaos....and willed herself to relax.[/i]

Jaudiar: This child is mine, and Axel's. I will be the one to hold her and nurture her...not you. She will learn my songs, and my rules. And if you touch this child before I am ready...you will be laid under the curse.

Rajaah: ....oh which curse now?

Jaudiar: My starseed is created within the boundries of Lehuriel Emtari. Touch it, or the one holding it against their will....and the curse of 800 years will be released.

Rajaah: *spits* And what would you do to give your starseed to a child willingly? She will not be able to hold it.

The pulsing in her uterus was gentle...despite a nudge now and then. Nepenthe was growing quickly. Good. Jaudiar's mind quickly formulated the plans necessary to ensure Chaos's survival.

Lethe would have to mature faster than normal....and then the knife would be brought into play. Ananda would come, perform the rites of exchange...and that would be that. Her elder sister was pure joy, full of the lightness of being. The Necromancer would fall before her without much of a battle. The child will then hold Lehuriel Emtari, and be trained the basics with her father, and the higher training...with Lingh Redeyes. That is...of course...if nothing goes horribly wrong with the pregnency.[/i][/COLOR]

[i]Karina was suddenly awake and alert, she put her hands on the ground to steady herself, and her hand felt liquid, she shuddered, because she knew what it was... a small puddle of her blood. She slowly got to her feet, and listened. Her shoulder and side were stiff with pain, but she paid that no mind. Something was nearby, and it wasn't the spirits. She heard it pounding on the door. To be absolutly honest, she didn't want to meet up with whatever it was now. She was as good as blind, but still she turned and ran back down the tunnel from where she had come. She ran for a very long time, she never seemed to hit a dead end. She suddenly tripped over... something, she didnt know what it was. She got up quickly and started running again. Ariel, without warning appeared right in front of Karina, causeing Karina to skid to a stop. Ariel's faint light made it slightly easier to see, but not by much, the darkness seemed to absorb all light, it was like a lit match in a black hole.[/i]

Ariel: Karina what do you think you're doing?

Karina: I dont know...

Ariel: You shouldnt be running off like that! Do you have any clue how deep into the ground youve gone since you ran off from the door?

Karina: Nope

[i]Ariel suddenly gasped, and tried to speak, but could only squeak in fright. Ariel pointed to behind Karina, unable to speak. She stood there frozen in fear, before she was able to whisper.[/i]

Ariel: ...Karina. Don't. Look. Behind. You...

[i]Karina, tensed up and sighed.[/i]

Karina: Something really big, bad, ugly, and possibly deadly is behind me right?

[i]Ariel couldn't find her voice again so she squeaked and nodded slowly. Karina sighed and nodded back to the spirit.[/i]

Karina: ...My luck is still holding.

???: Why do you not lie dormant undead? Why do you tresspass in my part of the catacombs?! I demand an explanation, as keeper of the lower catacombs!

[i]Karina turned around slowly and saw the faint shadowy outline of a monstrosity she had never seen before.[/i]

Karina: ...What the heck is that thing?!

Ariel: I seriously don't know, and I don't think I want to

Sombra: I am Sombra, keeper of the lower catacombs, tell me what was your living name? You will answer me!

Karina: You know, Im really getting sick of being ordered around! So you can take your little orders and stuff them up your--

Sombra: --YOU DARE TO TALK BACK TO ME!? I WILL MAKE YOU PAY UNDEAD!.... undead? yoo hoo undead?

[i]The monster Sombra looked around, but didnt see Karina and Ariel, they had ran off when he was ranting on. He roared in anger, his cries could be heard all the way above ground. He turned and started to follow them at a slow pace.[/i]

Karina: Well that was disturbing...

Ariel: I'll get you back to the surface! Come along now! We have to hurry before the egomaniac decides to follow us.

[i]Karina pulled off the path and leaned against the wall, catching her breath, she couldnt stop gasping. She slid to the floor, and wasn't able to get up again. She knew that she had made a fatal mistake in coming all the way down there, she had made way too many mistakes, using all of her magic energy up, running off, taking on more of a fight then she could handle, and yet still asked for more. She had worn herself completely out. Did she enjoy it? Didnt seem that she did now, her only thoughts were, "I shouldnt have been so stupid!... Why did I do it? why?!... I hope that Valen, Ari, Vahn and my parents can forgive me..." She waited until Ariel turned around and came back.[/i]

Ariel: Karina? why did you stop?

Karina: ...What surface? Theres no surface... only here, you can't get out. Sorry mom... I'm too tired to run all the way back. I exausted myself just getting down this deep into the catacombs, and now Ill pay the price.

Ariel: Oh no Karina, please don't do this. I wont let you be taken! I'm going to find somebody who can help!

Karina: How? you cant get out ether.

Ariel: Wanna bet?

Karina: You can leave?

Ariel: sometimes... I'll find someone, Karina. Please dont give in to that monster if he comes.

Karina: But... even if you do find someone, they cant see you as you are, only as a shimmery thing or ball of light... as youve told me before.

Ariel: I dont care. I'm going!

[i]Before Karina could protest, Ariel had disapeared.[/i]

[I]Visor and Tyron, pushed with all their might, they [b]had[/b] to get in there. As the brothers rammed and rammed Shin shouted for their attention.[/I]

Shin: HEY! I have a good idea.

Tyron: Ok, ow *rubs shoulder* go on then.

[I]Shin leans against the side wall extending his arms, spreading his fingers and faces his palms to the door.[/I]

Shin: Now, both of you do exactly what I am doing, and we will all on the count of three use our magic to blast it down.

[I]The immense power released was unbelievable. From Visor, a huge tornado made of fire, blasted at the door. From Tyron, an electric blast flew from his clenched fists. And from Shin, lava burst out like a horizontal waterfall, the door, disintegrated. The door now in ashes apon the floor, the three proceed into the dark, dindgy, cold tunnels that lurk in front of them, they don?t know what lies ahead of them. As they walked forward they were blown to the floor, by a floating, white, ball of aura. It screeched and howled a high pitched noise![/I]

Shin: W..W..w..what is it?

Tyron: Are you a lost soul?

Visor What the hell are you!

???: *Screech*

[I]Slipping on his Knuckle Dusters Visor lunges for the ?thing?, but flies right through it![/I]

Visor: WHAT ARE YOU!

[I]The ball slowly drops from about head height and perches onto the floor. Sudenly Tyron points to letters appearing into the dusty and dirty floor, the message read:

?Please, you must help me, I am the soul of a Ariel. My daughter Karina is wounded, and has to escape this place, please help, if you are any good willed humans, you would help, please!?

[I]Tyron and Visor once again look at each other and nod. Shin erupts into excitement.[/I]

Shin: Isn?t that KARINA! Your friend!?!

Tyron: Yes, we must hurry if she is wounded!

Shin: Yeah! LEAD THE WAY!

[I]They followed the levitating ball into the dark shadows.[/I]

[I]Rajaah simply turned away he would not harm the child he needed the child to be safe. With this very thought he vanished into the shadows letting them think he was going to harm the child perhaps for now his little secret remained just that.[/I]

Rajaah: I must plan for the child's defense they seemingly can't handle the fact I'd help them. << Sighs >> One of us won't survive the battle ahead.

Wailing Death: You must watch over them Rajaah! Carefully!

[I]Rajaah stood there in silence not listening to the bubbling of his father thinking to himself how ionic all these events have been very well planned by whom ever played god.[/I]

[i]Karina heard something coming her way, she didnt have to guess at what it was, she knew.[/i]

Karina: Crap! Not Sombra!

[i]She turned her head, for now there was another noise coming from the other direction... it was faint but the echos told her it was a group of people. She couldnt make out who they were, she hoped that whoever they were, were prepared to take on the demonic-guardian-of the-lower-catacombs Sombra. She had sensed the monsters power, he was not going to be easy.[/i]

Karina: Whoever you guys are, I hope you get here soon! Sombra is moving fast.

[i]She heard Sombra yelling at her as he moved through the shadows.[/i]

Sombra: UNDEAD I SHALL FIND YOU! YOU WILL NOT ESCAPE MY WRATH!

[i]Karina shut her eyes and pulled herself deeper into the groove in the wall. She was too tired to fight, let alone run away.[/i]

Karina: Oh please someone anyone... help.

[Carren Heart]

[I]Karina quickly felt a familiar presence, but only heart beat passed then a loud booming eruption engulfed the halls. The two outside heard an tremendously horrifying scream then a blinding pale blue flash streaked out of the tomb when it cleared the path infront of them was clear. Karina stood there unharmed she open her eyes and seen Rajaah standing just a few feet away palm pointed toward the far side of the tombs.[/I]

Rajaah: << Looking over at Karina >> There your safe.

OOC: Sorry have to get off ? won?t be on until Monday or Sunday.

[i]Karina slowly pulled herself to her feet, holding her wound. She had no clue to what had just happened, all she knew was, her jailer was now standing there, and she was royally pissed.[/i]

Karina: What the hell did you do?!

Rajaah: Help you.

[i]Karina gave him a look of pure confusion, she put her hand to her forehead and shut her eyes for a second, before looking at him again.[/i]

Karina: can you please repeat that? I must have hit my head off of that wall harder then I thought.... did you say you helped me?! after what you did!?

Rajaah: Yes... Do you have a problem with that?

Karina: ...No ...but...aren't you the one who locked me in there in the first place!? Whats wrong with you?!

Rajaah: Nothing is wrong with me... but from the looks of you, somethings wrong with you.

[i]He nodded to her side, she looked down at it for a brief moment before, pulling her cloak over it to cover it. She sighed in disbelief, and looked away.[/i]

Karina: I seriously think I'm dreaming now. What ever happened to the whole torture-the-undead-thing that you did to me?

[i]Karina leaned against the wall, watching his every move.[/i]

Karina: So what now? What plans do you have for lil ol' undead me?

[i]She didnt expect a reply from him so she stayed put.[/i]

[Shinobi]

[i]The trio falled the ball for what seemed like minutes, but really about 20 miutes, finaly they were drawing closer, they could sense it. They could tell she was near enough around the corner when they were threw off their feet by a huge explotion. A dark figure levatated in mid air, then dropped to the ground walking forward, through the dust talking.[/i]

Shin: Who is that! Grrrr

Visor: Let's get him!

[i]The three leave the ball to lag behind as they skid around the corner they find rubble, dust and two misty figures.[/i]

[Valen]

[i]Valen, Ari, and Vahn came upon an area covered in ice with a hole in the middle. They heard voices coming from below and decided to check it out. Valen went first to make sure it was okay. Ari followed after helping Vahn down into the hole.[/i]

Vahn: What's that? It looks like someone broke into a tomb...

Valen: Yeah, it may not be safe... Who wants to go first?

[i]Ari and Vahn look at Valen.[/i]

Valen: Wha? Huh? Aw... ok...

[i]Valen leads the way into the tomb with their weapons drawn...[/i]

Ari: Its so dark in here, how can we find our way around in here?

[i]The suddenly heard a scream from deep in the tunnels, followed by a massive explosion that shook the ground beneath them.[/i]

Vahn: There's your answer!

Ari: That must mean she's down here!

[i]Ari took off down the tunnel leaving Valen and Vahn behind her.[/i]

Valen: Ari!... She doesn't know what she's getting into...

Vahn: Well that was stupid of her! ...Ari wait up!

[i]Vahn took off after her.[/i]

Valen: Oh no! Vahn! Ari! Get back here!

[i]Valen ran after the two calling them back. He caught up with Vahn first. But still no sign of Ari.[/i]

Ari: Karina!? Karina? You down here?

[i]Ari ran deeper into the catacombs. She heard Valen and Vahn yelling her to return, but she wasnt going to listen, she was hearing voices now, she kept running getting ever closer, she suddenly heard Visor and the other guys, then she heard the faint voice of...[/i]

Ari: KARINA!? Karina can you hear me?!

[i] Karina turned towards the voice and listened again. She saw the faint forms appear, she couldnt belive it it was them...[/i]

Karina: Omg no... It can't be them! TYRON?! VISOR?!

Tyron: Guys we found her! Karina!

[i]Karina didnt answer, because she had heard Ari screaming at her from a long ways down the hallway. She yelled back.[/i]

Karina: Ari! I'm here!

[Carren Heart]

[I]Rajaah Paused and looked down the path Karina was yelling down then he looked back at her.[/I]

Rajaah: Simple enough I wish to experince the "better" side. You can allow me to join with you for a least a while or you can tell me that among you I have one place.

[I]Rajaah looked at her very sincerely.[/I]

Rajaah: Will you have a chance to show me that the forces you fight for are worth my time how about it?
