Don't take this the wrong way Solo or Deathbug, but I posted my deck and was hoping for good tips like pointing out some weaknesses that my deck truly has. Not something that goes down against the theme and obviously is worse for the deck.

I mean not using Nobleman of Extermination, Heavy Storm. That cuts down on nearly 50% of my m/t removal giving me less room for direct attacks. Black HOle out? There's practically 1/3rd of my monster removal. Obvious staples that are currently the bases of decks are not to be taken out. Any good player knows that --;

Cyber Pod not in a beatdown? The point is to get rushers out and blast away..Pod does this for me while giving me an opportunity to draw more staples.

I'm not shooting his points down because I'm cocky and think my deck has no weaknesses. I'm shooting them down because obviously they don't help the deck..

As for your decks Domon, they lack staples, consistency, and flow.

Since you included some JP cards I'll assume I can throw out JP cards at ya. I'm gonna focus more on the BM theme rather than Magic User for your M-User decks.

Basically the theme is all out *****-woopalization with the limitations of the English CCG..

Maxed out m/t removal, rather in a JP deck I would use the Mage Knight Breaker, here I have to improvise and use a Nobleman of Extermination(gets rid of multiple Wabokus).

Basically stapled out..and has no weaknesses..[/quote] Yeah, I have to give you credit for this deck: it really is good (If I ever reinstall YVD, I'd love to duel you :smirk: ). It's set so, just in case Kuriboh hit the field via CJ or something, you've got a backup so your opponent's one-hit kill fails. Haha, I was the first to use kuriboh in my area, and when everyone saw me stop a Jinzo with 50 equips (exaggeration, but the opponent used all his cards to power-up and bring out Jinzo, and then finished his hand to clear the field), everyone started using it. My turn, change of heart. :D

I recommend taking out Nobleman of Extermination and putting in Delinquent Duo. Hey, removing cards is great, but how about you don't even give them a chance to play the card? ;) Also, I know this may sound ludicrous, but see how taking out one Graceful charity works. I mean, all of your cards are good, and discarding four must really hurt. My suggestion as a replacement: Dark Necrofear (put those dead kuriboh's in the grave to good use) (EDIT: ugh, actually, you only have EXACTLY 3 fiends, so I guess you should try putting something else :) ). Lastly, replace prevent rat with wall of illusion, unless everyone in your store has high-hitters like you do. Of course, even then, I say you give it a shot.

See, it's a Toon/Messenger of Peace deck. The Mermaid can attack under MOP and do 1400 damage (per Mermaid0 each turn. The rest of the cards are self-explanatory.

I know it's totally weak for Tounaments, but it could kick butt in casual play. :demon:

D_N: You've got waaayy too many cards. First, take out all the Toon cards. Then, leave only 1 Level 7 monster, and two-three level 5/6 monsters.

On the magic side, you're only allowed 1 Dark Hole and 1 Regeki. Remove Invigoration and Dragon Treasure, as well as 1 Remove Trap.

Trap-wise....remove the Dragon Capture Jar, 2 Castle wAlls and 1 Robbin' Goblin.

Also, remove many of your weaker monsters.

A good system for deck proportions is: 2 Lvl 7-8 Monsters, 3 lvl 5/6 monsters, 15 lvl 1-4 Monsters (20 Monsters total), 13 Magics, and 7 traps. This is only a guideline, though, and you can play around with it all you want.

Unstoppable all-rounder beatdown with a hand control sideboard converison. 6/40, m/t ratio, superior to the standard. 6/40, attack negation, also superior. All staple'd out, and 8/40 rusher flow, with 5/40 monster removal. In other words, no weaknesses in sight. If you can spot some LOGICAL weaknesses please point them out with a basis and a supported reason.

I think it would be a good idea to replace Thousand Dragon with Black Skull Dragon, if you can find that card, but Thousand Dragon's just fine. When you get cards such as Raigeki, Harpie's Feather Duster, Change of Heart, etc. you can put those in your deck. The Dragon Capture Jar doesn't really need to be there, and you can replace one of your Gift of the Mystical Elf cards with a trap such as Torrential Tribute, Waboku, and Mirror Force.

When you get a Heavy Storm card, replace Giant Trunade with it. That way, instead of just returning Magic/Trap cards to someone's hand, you can destroy them instead! :demon:

Can someone PLEASE rate my deck? It's about two pages back, but you'll find it...

I have a total of 60 cards in my deck (not counting my Fusion monster), which is the maximum number of cards you can have in your deck in WWE. I wanna put Raigeki and Bad Reaction to Simochi in my deck, but the password thingy didn't work for Bad Reaction to Simochi and I don't even have a Raigeki card... :bawl: If I did, I would replace my Giant Rats with them... First off, you've got waaaayyy too many cards, Nefertimon. Let's see....

Monsters:
You've got too much going on here. Ditch two or three of your lvl 7 monsters, first off. Then, ditch one Ritual monster. Also, you don't need 3 Stone Soldiers and one Mystical Elf; I wouldn't play with more than 2 High-defense monsters.

Loose the Black-Skull Dragon, b/c your deck isn't centered around fusions and he just takes up space.

Loose Trap Master, Giant Rat and some of your weaker monsters. As soon as you can, add more High-level monsters like the Gemini Elf or La Jinn. Loose Sonic Bird.

Magic:
Loose Sword of Dark Destruction, Yami, and Black Pendant. Also, loose Dien Kento; 1000 LP isn't worth it if you draw her and really needed an offensive card.

As soon as you can, get more Mystical Space Typhoons.

Traps:
Actually, your traps are fine. I'd suggest call of the Haunted over Trap Hole, though. And it's a matter of personal taste, but I'd replace Magic Jammer with Imperial Order. Also, you could drop Seven Tools because you have Jinzo. You only have 1 Flip effect, so you might want to replace it with Light of Intervention or Royal Command.


The main problem is that your deck seems unfocused. What is its theme supposed to be?

Obviously, since it's otherwise exactly the same, my suggestions wqould be the exact same as before. Since you've decided my suggestions aren't "logical", I'll refrain.

However, your idea of swapping cards for hand disruption cards from your side deck-why, exactly?

You'd be adding in several cards who obviously don't work in with the theme (beatdown) of your deck. You said the deck was unbeatable before; haven't you heard, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

Personally Altron I think your last comment was rather rude and you should remember that people are entitled to post their own opinions about what they think you should add in or take out, telling people that they can't without "logical reason" is pompus and snide. I'd at least expect more out of TheOtaku's chief editor. I would hope that you of all people would take other people's opinions and instead of being an arrogant jerk to every comment at least try to maybe consider some things.

Well I quite playing a while back, but I had a pretty strong Deck.

all of my cards are from the original booster packs, and all are first editions. no starter deck cards in there.

A lot of people think some of the cards aren't very good, but the way the deck is set up, it's extremely effective. Not only is it a Draw deck, so I get more cards that I want, but it's set up that I can control which cards are in my hard too (to an extent). It would probably still kick *** with out the new boosters. Although I have no idea about the cards in the most recent one, I wouldn't mind having some of the cards from Labryith (sp?).

Altron, please pull back a little. If you want to debate/discuss the issue, it can definitely be done in a respectful manner -- if the other person's view isn't logical, it's fine to explain [i]why[/i]. But once again, try to do it in a respectful manner.

Domon, try to keep your posts on topic. That last post was quite irrelevant to the discussion. If you want to bring up issues like that with Altron, I recommend using the PM system.
