Mina
Just a few things: First of all, that is way too many Tribute monsters. Depending on the theme of your deck, decide between the two Dark Magicians or the two dragons. Get some more monsters. Depending on what theme you choose, some Spellcasters or Dragons are in order. Guest Stridir
Yeah, this kinda looks like a dark theme deck. At least talk out your two Blue Eyes. Also, you can only have one Waboku in your deck, rules are rules, sorry.:toothy:

DeathBug
Well...first, you have *waaaayyy* too many cards, B_K. A good ratio to start with is about 7 traps, 13 magic and twenty monsters, although you can play around with these numbers. (I myself prefer to use 4/5 traps, 16/18 monsters, and 18/20 magics.) Trim the fat to forty cards. It'll be easier to pick the better cars when working with smaller numbers. Also, right off the bat, ditch Ryu-Ran, REBD, and the Labyrith Wall. When choosing a tribute monster, what you need to do is select either a) one with tons of strength for a small tribute (Summoned Skull, and later, the Cybernetic Wyrven), b) one with a killer effect (Jinzo, Vampire Lord, Hades) or c) one which is a little lacking on a or b, but go with the deck's theme (Freed, Tyrant Dragon, Machine King). Those guys have none of that. I'd also recommed dropping Shadow Ghoul, b/c he's weak unless you build the deck around him. You should keep BEWD if you want fire power, but Summoned skull is better if you can get one.

Domon
Same here, I've waited for quite a long time for both my Light and Earth decks to be rated. I would like some opinions.
Guest Altron Gundam
This is exactly why we should have a Deck Garage sub-forum rather than one stupid topic where everyone's decks get mixed up with fixes and so on. The disorganization is here is crazy.
Solo Tremaine
A Deck Garage sub-forum would give hundreds of two or three post threads (depending how arguementative things get), most of which would only be posted in for a day or so until the Deck's been thoroughly analysed. I think this thread does well as it is, personally, and it prevents spammy, cluttered forums. If people showed a little more common courtesy when posting, i.e. commenting on someone else's Deck before posting their own, there wouldn't be any trouble. That's all it takes. But if your Deck doesn't get rated or criticised or whatever, try and look at it yourself as best you can and try and figure out its weaknesses, or read over what other people's Decks had been lacking and see if that applies to your own as well. Guest Altron Gundam
Well isn't preventing one-two word posts or SPAM, a mod's job? If the admins can get either me or you to mod a Deck Garage sub-forum, things would be organized, people could look exactly at what deck they're gonna rate/give tips, and it would be way easier than going back 2-3 pages for a deck you wanna rate. If someone spams in the proposed Deck Garage sub-forum, I'd just delete the post, PM them a warning and get on w/ my life. Its a lot more organized than this where noone rarely comments on another person's deck anymore, because of the sheer wanting of getting through all these random posts of ppl posting decks and fixing random decks that were posted 5 days ago. DeathBug
Ben: Ditch all your tribute monsters that don't have effects; you've got way too many. Add more level four rush monsters, or effect monsters. Also, get a draw-power card like PoG or GC, as well as M/T destruction, like MST, HFD or HS. (MST should be the easiest to get.) Domon, your first deck should drop one thunder Nyan-Nyan, b/c of the various non-light monsters you have. Also, you've got too many traps for a deck with Jinzo; ditch a pair of Wobokus and either Light of Intervention or Royal Command. (Having both is redundant.) Your second deck...has way too much going on. You need to either have an earth-beatdown, a Magnet deck, or a gravity Bind deck; all three at once is a disaster waiting to happen. Decide which them you prefer and get rid of cards that don't pertain to it. Now I post my deck. =) Gettysburg v 3.0 My latest Warrior deck, so far ahead from my first misguided attempt. Here we go: Tribute Monsters: Jinzo (Coming soon to a Joey tin near you!) Monsters: (17) Maurading Captain x2 Exiled Force Goblin Attack Force x2 Warrior Dai Grepher x2 (Will replace at first opportunity with Breaker and Amazoness Swordswoman) Gearfried the Iron Knight x2 (Will replace w/ Blade Knight when he's released.) Don Zaloog x2 Cyber Jar Fiber Jar Sasuke Samurai Injection Fairy Lily Witch of the Black Forest Sangan Traps: (4) Mirror Force Imperial Order Destruction Ring Call of the Haunted Magic: (18) Monster Reborn Regeki Dark Hole Premature Burial Pot of Greed Swords of Revealing Light Graceful Charity Mirage of Nightmares United We Stand Reinforcements of the Army x2 The Warrior Returning Alive x2 Change of Heart Harpie's Feather Duster M Space Typhoon x3 Total: 40 Let's go over the changes: Now that I'll finally be able to get a Jinzo, he replaces Freed the Matchless General. Speed is the name of the game here: In addition to Pot of Greed, I've also got Witch of the Black Forest (Searchable monsters: 14) and Sangan (searchable monsters: 12). Plus, the infamous Mirage of Nightmares/MST (or Imperial Order) combo...I'm actually in danger of decking myself, but I'll get over it. Speed! Only one power-up card, but it's the best one for this deck. (powers up 16 monsters) Monster Reborn can bring back 18 of my monsters to the field. Call of the Haunted can bring back 16. (Excludes Gearfried) Premature Burial can bring back 16. The Warrior Returning Alive can send 10 of my monsters from the Graveyard to my hand. Reinforcements of the Army can summon 10 of my monsters to my hand. Maurading Captain can special summon 16 monsters to the field. Exiled Force's effect can be used a max total of six times per game. I can't wait for Magician's Force so I can get rid of the dead weight and do some real damage with this puppy. Thoughts?

Solo Tremaine
I would suggest taking out Black Skull Dragon too. Leave in Summoned Skull, though, but with a Deck that big getting the fusion together's going to be a pain and'll only slow you down, generally. Red Eyes isn't that great a monster for it's requirements, anyway. Jinzo'd do you better in that respect. Although if you need that many traps you might want to go for a different one, like Beast of Talwar. I'm not sure 3 Shallow Graves are that good an idea, either, bearing in mind you and your opponent both summon a monster to the field. It's good for Flip-Effect ones, but you could use Spear Cretin for that just as easily, and that'll protect your Life Points from an attack, too. I'd suggest Call of the Haunted/Premature Burial but I don't know if you have The Shallow Graves in there for any purpose I'm not seeing, heh. Solo Tremaine
Asura- I think the Ritual monsters and rigmorale attached to them might slow the Deck down- seeing as you've only one Crab Turtle and ritual card, it doesn't seem that necessarry alonside monsters such as the Dragons you also have as hard-hitters. You could just as easily have another Wind, Water or dragon-type monster and then replace the others needed for Crab Turtle with other usefuls. Of course, it's entirely up to you, heh. baalthaczaar, I'd suggest having more Tribute monsters there- there's not an awful lot of power in that Deck, you might find yourself easily under heavy attack with only 2 monsters with over 2500 ATK. Get another Summoned Skull if you can, or any others that take your fancy. There's also the general yadda of getting Raigeki, Magic Cylinder and other useful staples. Guest AciDFalZ99
Solo, you're totally wrong on the 2nd deck. 2 Tribs is actually very good. Many ppl even prefer one. What he should do is get some utility mons such as Platoon Commander maybe, Lily, Critter Jinzo etc. and complete his staples. Ease down on the traps. Right now ur a jinzo's wet dream. And try not to use Triggered or Vulnerable ones. The best traps 4 a Beatdown are: Call, Waboku, Mirror Force, Destruction Ring, and Imperial Decree. Try to even out ur ratio, drop the useless cards. I suggest you look around a bit 4 a great competitive beatdown and base urself upon that. Don't use over 18 mons 4 a beatdown, u'll get ur hand clogged. 5-6 Traps is the best ratio as well. Good luck. Feel free to contact me over PM 4 a complete fix.
