Hyper
The Key card in a Weenie Rush is Ultimate Offering. It gets your monsters out way faster then you normally would. Try replacing the Queen's Double with Priness of Tsurugi's. They will do a lot more damage, and might be easier to keep on the field. You might not need those Shield and Swords. Its always good to ahve a good defense abd the Shield and Sword cards take up some slots better filled with Ultimate Offering, the Weenie Rush card. Circ
Right, completely forgot Ultimate Offering. Fine tuned the deck a bit. Will need more magic monster removal because Jinzo just owns this deck. Princess of Tsurugi is NOT a card for this deck: 1- it's designed to bust up earth monster, so she don't get anything from Gaia Power. 2- Millus Radiant actually WEAKEN her because it's a wind monster. here's the updated deck: 3 Nimble Momonga 3 Queen's Double 3 Rainbow Flower 3 Leghul 3 Milus Radiant 2 Giant Soldier of Stone 2 Hayabusa Knight 2 Man-Eating Bug 2 Giant Rat 2 Sangans 3 Magic Jammer 3 Black Pendant 3 Axe of Despair 3 Gaia Power 3 Ultimate Offering 2 Rush Recklessly 1 De-Spell 1 Remove Trap 1 Soul Release 1 Monster Reborn 3 Gravity Bind 3 Mirror Wall 1 Mirror Force I ditched two De-Spell for a remove Trap and a Soul release. Soul release comes in handy to get rid of a Jinzo (v. important to get him off) and other dangerous cards . I'm interested to add Fairy Meteor Crush, should I? Edit: naaah! not enough firepower in my deck, and half my hitters are dirct attck Should I throw in a MoF or more recovery cards? How could i thin out the deck? Alexander
If you have a FMC, sure. It's a good card while you're on teh offensive. I doubt it'll be noticed, but here goes nothing... Pegasus J. Crawford is one of my favorite characters, and I sometimes immitate him while dueling. I've made two decks based on his, one concentrating on Toon Monsters, the other on getting Relinquished out hard and fast. Here's Draft 1 of my Relinquished Deck. I wrote it in Edo's deck list style. Monsters: (21) 1. Relinquished 2. Relinquished 3. Relinquished 4. La Jinn 5. La Jinn 6. La Jinn 7. Sonic Bird 8. Sonic Bird 9. Sonic Bird 10. Senju of a Thousand Hands 11. Witch of the Black Forest 12. Witch of the Black Forest 13. Magician of Faith 14. Magician of Faith 15. Man-Eater Bug 16. Man-Eater Bug 17. Trap Master 18. Cyber Jar 19. Thousand Eyes Idol 20. Thousand Eyes Idol 21. Cannon Soldier Magic:(19) 22. Black Illusion Ritual 23. Black Illusion Ritual 24. Black Illusion Ritual 25. Mystical Space Typhoon 26. Mystical Space Typhoon 27. Mystical Space Typhoon 28. Polymerization 29. Polymerization 30. Swords of Revealing Light 31. Swords of Revealing Light 32. Pot of Greed 33. Change of Heart 34. Snatch Steal 35. Raigeki 36. Dark Hole 37. Monster Reborn 38. Premature Burial 39. Fairy Meteor Crush 40. Giant Trunade Traps:(5) 41. Mirror Force 42. Magic Jammer 43. Imperial Order 44. Seven Tools of The Bandit 45. Graverobber Fusion:(2) 46. Thousand Eyes Restrict 47. Thousand Eyes Restrict The theme? I guess it's a Pegasus-inspired, Relinquished-based Lockdown/Theft deck. Geeze, that's a big theme. Strategy? Get Relinquished out quick, and start 'absorbing' his monsters up. Later, Relinquished is replaced with 'Thousand Eyes Resrict', and the strategy changes to hitting him with either a combination of TER + Fairy's Meteor Crush or Cannon Soldier. In addition to Relinquished, the deck has Change of Heart and Snatch Steal availiable to keep stealing the opponent's monsters. The deck has both Monster Reborn and Early Burial to keep bringing Relinquished/TER back after it gets killed. The traps are fairly simple, Mirror force, a few counters, and Graverobber, one of my favorite cards. It fits the deck's 'Theft' theme. Plus, remember what Pegasus said about Dopellganger? "Know why he's grinning, Yugi? This little fellah loves what he does and does what he loves!" It applies to Graverobber, too! I'm thinking about swaping the La Jinns (put in there to give teh deck at least SOME brute force of it's own) with 2 Cannon Soldiers and a Summon Skull/Last Will/Giant Trunade. I'm also going to put a Solemn Wishes in there once I can, because it works great with Imperial Order. I don't have any Fusion Substitution cards, sadly, so the Thousand Eyes Idols have to stay, unless I change the theme. *sigh* Such utter crappiness. Cards I may actually put in, for more flavorful purposes, are: Eye of Truth, Jigen Bakudan, Dark Eyes Illusionist (the only card not legal here, my sister is borrowing it), and Exchange. The first represents Pegasus's Mind-Read ability, the second is in there just because Pegasus used it (and it MAY help as a game ender), the third because it's Pegasus's and it helps the Lockdown theme, and Exchange supports the theft theme. They're not very good, so chances of me REALLY using them are pretty nil.

Circ
If i count right, there's at least 80 cards in your deck: Thin it out. KISS: Keep it Simple Stupid. This usually applyto webdesign, but do nice in a Yu-Gi-Oh! deck.
Hyper
Alexander: Maybe you should replace Thousand Eyes Idol with a fusion-sub. They're a lot more useful than TEI. Circeus: Oops! Why do I keep thinking Princess of Tsurugi is an earth-type monster.:bluesweat Sorry 'bout that.

Alexander
Yipe. I see, get Thousand Eyes Restrict out, and delay long enough for the Ouija Board to complete itself...pretty risky, but pretty scary, too, if the opponent lacks Magic/Trap Removal. Your decks scare me. =)
Hyper
The scare me too...lol. And I forgot to make one minor adjustment in the M/T area of my deck. Curse of Pharoahs-- Its a trap cards the counters counter-traps (Thats a moutfull) without anycost. So its like Seven-Tools of the Bandit, except for free. Great for negation. Seing how as I can't us ea Jinzo.
John2
Ok, I know it may not seem like much, but here is my Dark deck. I woundered if anyone had some simple ideas for it. Hyper
Try getting more high atatck monsters like La Jinn. even though there arn't too many, but try to find them. I recommend using those cards to replace the Blackland Fire Dragons.
John2
Im gonna ****ing kick that ****monger's ***! He ****ing uses those ****ing Regulation of the Tribe cards. I just ****ing read those ****y cards. Select 1 Type of monster. Any monster of the selected Type cannot attack. To keep this card in effect, you must offer 1 monster from the field as a Tribute at each of your Standby Phases. If you cannot, this card is destroyed. That ****head never ****ing tributed. I'm gonna ****ing kill him. No wounder he ****ing won our **** duel. That *******. Now I can ****ing fix my **** deck.
Circ
I tweaked my deck quite a lot and here's what I came up with: Monsters: 22 3 Milus Radiant 3 Rainbow Flower 3 Queen's Double 2 Giant Soldier of Stone 2 Man-Eater Bug 2 Hayabusa Knight 2 Giant Rat 2 Nimble Momonga 2 Karate Man 1 Morphing Jar #2 Magic: 23 3 Gaia Power 3 Axe of Despair 3 Black Pendant 3 Ultimate Offering 2 Mystical Space Typhoon 2 Rush Recklessly 2 Soul Release 2 Remove Trap 1 Heavy Storm 1 De-Spell 1 Pot of Greed traps: 5 3 Gravity Bind 2 Magic Jammer I originally had 2 De-Spell, but decided an Heavy Storm could eventually prove usefull. Kicked the Leghuls off: they are too weak. Should I reinstate them back?
John2
I dont know, if you have heavy storm you put your equip, feild, and continuous magic cards at risk. But if you think it's better...
Hyper
Take out that last de-spell. It's a pretty useless card in any deck. Your Ratio is for monsters nad magic is 22:28. Thats a difference of 6 cards, which isn't the best odds. Maybe you should cut back on some of your magics. And add some more Trap Staples. You'll need them. Add a Cyber Jar. It is the newest, and one of the best Weenie-Rush cards. Defiantly add that one. Monsters look pretty good. Add some high atatck monsters. There are a lot to choose from, but you should usually always have attack monsters. And for an earth type, that would be Battle Ox. Just a suggestion. Circ
Wait... It would also destroy Gravity Bind... *smack forehead* bad, bad, bad idea!!!
Alexander
Try for some Giant Trunades, so you can just re-play all of your Magics/Traps while he has none to protect himself with. It's kinda a 1-turn Heavy Storm, but won't kill anything. They're MRL Super Rares. Of course, you can't go wrong with getting a few more Counter Traps and a Mirror Force...(keep looking, you may get lucky...) ("What? You want to trade your Graverobber for my *Starter* Dark Magician?" *yoink*) ("What? Two DBZ cards for a Gate Guardian?!" *yoink*)
Hyper
You might not need to many more counter traps, besides Mirror Force. Mystical Space Typhoon, being a Quick-play, actually is just a counter card. But its always good to have the counter traps.:)
Circ
Okay... Cyber Jar is dangerous in this deck, but I admit it'd be interesting. I call it a weenie Rush, but the real aim of the deck is direct dammage with the level 1 effect moinsters, so Battle Ox is a no-no because of Gravity Bind. Giant Rats merely serve as Sangans to get critical monsters out. The highest level 3 attack is GSoS. Next is Tripwire Beast (1200/1300). De-Spell can be a nice card but I should replace it with a MST, which more reliable. I'll take out the Heavy Storm for a Mirror Force (it's an apprentice deck: can't get any cards in my area) so: +1 Cyber Jar -1 Heavy Storm -1 De-Spell +1 Mystical Space Typhoon +1 Mirror Force
HeroBear
Had some cash to spend over the weekend and got a harpy theme deck. This is a mix of Japanese and English cards: Tribute: 3 x Harpy Lady Sisters 1 x Harpie's Pet Dragon (Japan) <-- I hear that a PS1 Yu-Gi-oh game has an American version of this card. Is that true? Non-tribute: 3 x Harpy Lady 1 x Harpy Lady Cyber Bondage (Japan) <--- Wish I had more of these lol 3 x Harpie's Brother 3 x Flying Kamakiri #1 1 x Bite Shoes Magic: 3 x Elegant Egotist 1 x Pot of Greed 3 x Harpie's Feather Duster (Japan) 1 x Mountain 2 x Rising Air Current 1 x Reborn Monster 1 x Despell 3 x Malevolent Nuzzler 1 x Remove Trap Traps: 2 x Shadow of Eyes 1 x Mirror Wall 1 x Mirror Force 1 x Enchanted Javelin 1 x Reinforcements --------------- Hmm, I may need more monster cards. What do you say?
Hyper
Since I see your using some Japanese cards, I have a few suggestions. When you get them, replace your Harpy Lady's with the Harpy Lady CB. If you do that, you won't be able to use Flying Kamikiri's. So Japan ahs another card for you to use: Birdman. It specifically gets a HL (I'm pretty sure it includes CB) out on the field after it dies. And its a 1650/1600 (I'm pretty sure.) Add around two Man-Eater Bugs or maybe Penguin Soldier. And don't forget Magicians of Faith. And try Dancing Faeries. They are 1700/1000, are commonly used in Harpy Decks, and when in face-up defense postion you gain 1000 lp. Also consider some Amozoness cards. Magic's don't have enough staples. +1 Change of heart +1 Raigeki +1 Dark Hole -2 Harpy Feather Duster (Its restricted to only 1) +2 Mystical Space Typhoon -1 Despell -1 Remove Trap -1 Mountain + 1or 2 Swords of Revealing Light +2 Angel's gift I know its a long list, but if you try doing some of those suggestions it may really help your deck. Also be sure to add some power-ups like Cyber Bondage and Demon's Axe. Traps are pretty good. Just add some counter traps like Magic Jammer and Seven Tools. To put those in, I reccomend taking out the Reinforcements and Enchanted Javelin, but if you really want to, you could keep the Enchante dJavelin. HeroBear
Ooooh, ok thanks :) Will probably try and get some next week or so. Didn't know about the limited duster, so thanks on that info hehe. :) I also found out that there are English versions of Harpie's Pet Dragon so I'll keep a look out on that and try to work on an english deck. I'm hoping to make this my regular deck (Don't get me wrong.. Love my "water" deck... After all that new tp2 Giant Red Seasnake makes me drool.) My little cousin is going to give me a Man Eater (Said it's too wimpy. lol) Been trying to find a change of heart card, as well as a demon's axe, but they're a pain to find :(
